Studio Cathy HM Beauty

I went to Studio Cathy HM Beauty in San Jose because she was highly rated and came up in my Google search for pin-up style bridal hair. I needed hair and make-up for my wedding dinner and wanted 1950’s style. She far exceeded my expectations. She was very friendly and thorough. I love it when people are prepared; it shows their level of professionalism and priority for a client’s specific needs. We spoke on the phone prior to the appointment, and I texted her some photo samples of what style I was looking for and pictures of my hair and face upon her request. I initially contacted her 3 days prior to my wedding dinner because the dinner was a last-minute decision. She was very accommodating and understanding because it was last-minute. She even gave me a discount since it wasn’t a full-on wedding and just a dinner. The day of the make-up and hair appointment, Cathy was very warm and friendly. She is a very sweet and welcoming people person. Her studio was very modern, bright, uplifting and clean. She had some large professional photos on the walls with her hair and make-up work from previous clients. Her certificates were also displayed on her wall. She did my make-up first and it came out just how I wanted! She did my hair second and it was amazing! She did it so quickly too! She has her own line of lashes which I found very impressive. The lashes were beautiful. She also offers classes on hair and make-up which I plan to take in the future. What made the experience with Cathy so memorable, and comforting was her friendly banter. I really enjoyed talking with her. Sometimes I have social anxiety, but she made me feel so comfortable that I wasn’t anxious at all. Because of the great experience and high level of professionalism, I highly recommend Cathy. If you are looking for professionalism and someone who is dedicated to ensuring your expectations are surpassed, Cathy is your hair and make-up artist. She truly is an ARTIST!
