Through a series of discussions and questions, I will create your Bespoke Ceremony, one full of personal touches, meaningful moments, spotlights on loved ones, and much more. If you're looking for a ceremony that's short and sweet, my Pick-and-Choose ceremony will do the trick: choose how your ceremony will go with simple, traditional, or modern takes on each part of a classic wedding ceremony. Or if you have a family member or friend who you would like to officiate your wedding, I'm available to serve as a consultant! Miriam conducted my and my spouse's queer, interracial, interfaith wedding in June 2024. Working with Miriam was a fantastic experience. We trusted her deeply every step of the way. Miriam brought her thoughtful, creative self to the process and crafted ceremony that felt personal and met all of our wants and needs. Miriam's understanding of Jewish weddings, paired with her sensitivity to and empathy with interfaith couples, struck just the right balance of tradition and uniqueness. We felt that our voices and ideas were valued and centered throughout the whole process. Miriam offered lovely suggestions, but let us take the lead on the decisions. We relied on her depth of experience and understanding to help shape the day, and found many touches throughout that made the ceremony special and unique to us. Also pro tip -- if Miriam offers to sing or chant during your ceremony, say yes! Miriam's knowledge, care, professionalism, and all-around delightfulness made a fantastic process for us.

Miri was an integral part of our elopement. She is so easy to talk to, so warm and welcoming. I cannot thank her enough for her flexibility to marry us outside at the park where we had our first date, even with the bitter cold and snow. Miri has a genuine love for what she does and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. Thank you Miri!!! We highly, highly recommend her.

Miriam was amazing! We had a moved up ceremony so my Dad could be a part of it and she was so helpful in making that happen for us. She was flexible with the timing and things that we wanted and was open to what made it feel personal to us. She wrote a beautiful ceremony based on what we told her and it truly helped make our day feel as special as it was. We would highly recommend Miriam to anyone looking for an officiant for their special day!

Miriam is an absolute delight to work with! My husband and I had a BEAUTIFUL, loving, and meaningful ceremony and it's in large part thanks to Miriam’s officiating skills and guidance!
She did an amazing job corralling our families during the rehearsal run-through and the day of the wedding did a wonderful job officiating. She knew when to adjust positioning/staging as to not interfere with our photographer; and had perfect pacing, voice projection, clear diction, etc. Tonally, she was able to strike a fine balance between being sentimental while keeping things lively and fun.
Miriam not only did an amazing job officiating at the wedding, but she also put countless hours into helping us build a ceremony that was special and made just for us. Shortly after hiring Miriam, she met with us over zoom to walk us through the process step by step. Over the course of the wedding planning period, she helped us build a very personalized ceremony that was sweet and sincere without being overly stuffy and outdated. We loved all her suggestions and the options she provided us for language and the structure of the ceremony. We especially loved the suggestion of the ring warming ceremony - this was a new idea to us, and we loved how we were able to make the ceremony more interactive for our guests.
Hiring Miriam made our Mount Holyoke wedding extra special, because she is also a moho alum! It was so nice to have our officiant be someone with MHC connections and who loved our venue as much as we did. I wouldn't go back and change a thing; it was everything I wanted for my wedding ceremony and more!

Working with Miriam was such a blessing! We didn’t know each other before connecting about our ceremony, and she continues to be our best-ever community Facebook group finds :) . Throughout the process of developing our ceremony, she was incredibly warm, organized, and responsive—and unobtrusive! She was creative and adaptive to our vision for a self-designed and aggressively non-monogamous ritual, offering supportive reflection, research, and synthesizing. Our ceremony ultimately felt like a gorgeous expression of us—and having Miriam as our facilitator made it possible.
