The Community House in Birmingham

This venue is absolutely beautiful!!! I cannot recommend the Community House and their staff enough! I just adore Maria and Lexi! We were so grateful for them and for all the accommodations they provided for us! The food, courtyard, ball room, landscaping, patio....everything is breathtaking!! Thank you, Community House for assisting me in perfecting the most beautiful wedding! It exceeded my wildest dream!

I can’t say enough about this venue! There are multiple spaces to choose from depending on party size and each room is beautifully decorated and extremely functional. We held our daughter’s bridal shower in the Club Room, and it was the perfect space for our 20 guests. It could have easily held another 10 guests comfortably, if needed. The menu options are wonderful and they offer a ton of flexibility with the choices. I requested a special seafood option and my coordinator, Tim, and the chef were quick to accommodate. Tim was also quick to respond to all of my calls and emails, which were many since I planned this event long distance. Tim always replied within an hour if on the off chance I was unable to connect with him directly! Upon our arrival for the event, the room was completely and beautifully set and the staff were amazing. They graciously handled my last minute requests so that everything would be just perfect for us. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Our bartender was also an amazing mixologist and she was able to serve two signature cocktails with ease. My guests raved about them! It was one of the best venues I’ve ever utilized and I’ve hosted many events both professionally and personally! I strongly recommend the Community House!

I had a baby shower on the terrace and it was even better than what I expected! The tent was absolutely beautiful and the food was spectacular. It was beautiful to be outside and see the beautiful park as well. I worked with Tim and Zack and they were helpful and very professional. I give this venue 5 stars .

We recently used The Community House (TCH) for our daughter’s wedding reception in May 2024. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Guests raved about the delicious, artistically prepared food, the beautiful outdoor patio and hors d’ oeuvres, the friendly bartenders, the tasty wedding cake prepared by TCH pastry chef, the impeccable service staff and the venue. Everything was spot on! In fact, some guests even said it was ‘magical’. This is our second wedding reception at TCH, and we could not have been happier with the event. Kudos to Maria at TCH for managing all the details and executing them flawlessly. We couldn’t have been happier and we highly recommend TCH!

My sister and I hosted a baby shower for my daughter at The Community House in February, 2024. We could not have been more pleased from start to finish. From our initial inquiry about space to our final farewell at the conclusion of the shower, the service was outstanding! Every single person with whom we worked went above and beyond! The food was absolutely delicious. I so hope we have the opportunity to host another event at The Community House - or at least attend one!

I hosted a baby shower for my niece last week at the Community House. I live in MA so all of the details needed to be worked out via email and zoom. Working with Tim Hunt was a pleasure from beginning to end. Tim had wonderful suggestions and accepted all of my ideas. He gave me immediate responses to all of my questions. He showed me the room and a variety of ways they could set it up via a zoom call. On the day of the shower, the staff was not only friendly, but eager to please. They did everything right to make the shower a success. The food was elegantly served and equally outstanding. I highly recommend working with Tim at the beautiful Community House.

We had our wedding here in January 2024. The entire process was stress-free with Kassie! The day of the wedding, the entire staff was so invested in making our day special; the servers, bartenders, kitchen team, and clean up staff did an outstanding job, were detail oriented (had many guests with allergies, etc. that were all taken care of), and so polite. Should you get the hot chocolate bar at your ceremony? Yes, do it. Should you sample the creme brûlée? Absolutely. We also booked the venue for brunch the next morning, which was phenomenal. The chef made fresh cinnamon whipped cream for the waffles, it was so good!

I had my baby shower at The Community House and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The ballroom space was so clean and gorgeous. The staff was so accommodating and helped us with literally everything. They helped keep the event rolling smoothly and helped our guests with a variety of requests throughout the shower. The staff even helped my guests carry in large sized gifts they had brought, what a blessing! The food was so yummy and we received so many compliments on everything that was prepared. It was not your typical banquet food, not even close! Overall, we were so happy to host our event here and would have an event here again!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a shower at The Community House, and I was delighted with the entire experience! The staff there were incredibly accommodating, professional and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of my shower was executed flawlessly. Even last-minute requests during the shower were met with a smile. I truly felt like they cared about making my event memorable. The space was lovely. It was clean and well-maintained. The food was not only delicious but also presented beautifully. I received rave reviews regarding the food and the venue for days after the event from various attendees. Thank you to the amazing team at The Community House for making my shower unforgettable!

We cannot say enough good things about The Community House! We worked with Kassie as our coordinator and she was a dream to work with! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, and there are no words to describe just how phenomenal the staff is! They were so accommodating and made sure that we as the bride and groom were well taken care of, but our guests were also so well taken care of! The building is so beautiful and lends itself to such an elegant backdrop. Guests were blown away by everything!

Although we sadly didn’t choose the community house for logistical reasons we absolutely loved this venue. Not only is the community house beautiful and classy, Tim and his team’s professionalism was top tier. He went above and beyond for us, did multiple tours, revised quotes for us and responded within the day. We loved the chandeliers and high ceilings as well as the beautiful garden terraces. Would definitely recommend!!

I can't recommend The Community House enough after our wedding in May! The staff went above and beyond from the start, with helping us coordinate our reception, organize valet for our guests, accommodating late RSVPs and more. We had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding food they've had! Most importantly, all of the staff made sure that the night went smoothly, especially around the Birmingham Art Fair which was the same weekend.

We experienced the most professional, courteous, and pleasant staff ever! Every detail was carried out meticulously, and we were so happy with the kindness of the entire staff. I would definitely recommend The Community House in Birmingham to everyone! They surpassed our expectations, and made this event such a memorable and joyous occasion! This was for my daughter’s wedding shower.

The word PERFECT unfortunately does not do justice to how absolutely incredible our wedding was at The Community House! From the beginning of the planning process, they were extremely professional with every question we had, and they even offered up multiple things to help that we didn't even think about. The day of the wedding was so stress free it almost felt strange. Whenever someone needed something, it was delivered, whenever something came up, it was taken care of within a blink of an eye. We had budgeted a lot of time to setup the ballroom with decor the way we wanted, after doing one table they told us we will do the rest go focus on your day! Absolutely incredible, and im certain the layout was better than anything we could have done! I wish i could add pictures! The food was also on time and incredible! Everyone was served like a five-star restaurant, and it tasted like it too! I cannot say enough about Catherine and the way she treated myself and my wife through the whole process. Getting us everything we needed, making calls on our behalf, calming our nerves... Above and beyond does not even begin to describe it! Also wanted to shoutout Nick, Kent, Leon, as individuals that blew us away with their quality of service, however everyone was also wonderful! We are so happy we picked The Community House for our big day, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in looking for a venue! 10/10, 5 stars!

The Community House was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding reception! Our expectations were exceeded in every way. First off, the staff is an absolute joy to work with from our coordinator Maria to the banquet manager Kent, our dedicated server Leon and all the servers, bartenders and team who assisted with setup behind the scenes. Everyone was so professional, attentive, and incredibly personable. Our guests were raving about the attention they received from every employee as well as how positive, funny, and kind they were. Additionally, the team was adaptative to some unfortunate last-minute changes. Due to some illnesses we had to rework some of the seating arrangements and the team handled it so effectively. While I am a stress-prone person, Maria and her team assured me everything was okay and were so quick to adjust and reassure me things were handled. I am so grateful for their attention and reminder to relax and let me enjoy the day. The food is part of the wedding package on-site including alcohol, cocktail food, and late-night snack options (we chose the pizza, which was delicious, we were amazed at how quickly our guests ate it). The dinner was equally delicious, and we received great feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed it. Dinner was served promptly at the expected time starting with the salad and the dinner followed appropriately without delay. Attention to allergies was also handled very well, which we and our guests appreciated. I believe there are several options for menu upgrades and dessert packages too, although we opted for a dessert table from an outside vendor. Using an outside vendor for the desserts was still a seamless process as the Community House helped coordinate to ensure there was enough space for the display. The team was very responsive to our additional vendors, which were our florals and our band. The setup process was seamless, and we were blown away at how amazing the room looked when we walked in. The elevated stage and large dance floor created such a fun experience for our band and guests. We knew we wanted a band prior to booking our venue, so choosing a space that could accommodate one was super important to us. The elevated stage is truly a unique feature we didn’t see at other venues we had been considering. Our band was very large with specific electrical and lighting requirements, all of which the Community House was equipped to handle without issue. Lastly, the venue itself is beautiful. We wanted a space that felt comfortable and not like a generic banquet room. The outdoor patio with twinkle lights was awesome for guests to enjoy and cool off between dancing. There is a nice cocktail room to the side of the dining room that really helped manage the flow of the guests and accommodated a bar, coffee and water station, pizza, and desserts. There was a second bar available to us as well, which was awesome as I never saw a guest waiting in a long line for a drink. There are several fireplaces that really added to the entire ambiance of the night and TVs in which we were able to display pictures which helped personalize our evening. We could not be any more thrilled with how smooth the night went. Having the venue pay so much attention to detail really allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment of the reception to the fullest.

The Community House is a stunning venue! Our Sales & Event Services Manager Catherine was wonderful! She worked with us to make sure the food was exactly what we wanted and communicated that to the chef for us! The venue had everything from linen to candles to signature cocktails at no extra cost to us! The chef even came out and talked to the tables to make sure that everyone was enjoying their food, especially the special dietary request plates!

This was such an amazing venue! Catherine harris was amazing so helpful i could not have planned my dtrs dream wedding without her!! Best venue ever food was magnificent staff fabulous !! Thank u birmingham community house for a perfect wedding❤️

The Community House went above and beyond to make our wedding spectacular! Our coordinator, Catherine, was on top of every detail and anticipated our needs with kindness every time. Kent, who manages the waitstaff had meticulous attention to detail and we received many compliments from guests on the warmth and superior service from his staff. Finally, Chef Ryan’s food was excellent and a hit with everyone! Thank you to TCH for making our day so beautiful!!!

Our experience with The Community House was great! We were able to do a FaceTime tour and booked before we’d visited in person. We did experience a couple of changes in point-people, but all were lovely and responsive, and we were just thrilled with the coordinator, Lauren. She and the team handled minor hiccups smoothly. The food was fantastic, and the chef and team were very accommodating to dietary needs and changes in the menu to add food and bar options when we risked not meeting the minimums due to COVID affecting our guest count. They even packed up a couple of slices of our cutting cake to bring home with us! Everyone was great on the day of, the service was fantastic, and the venue was a very pleasant place to get ready for, and celebrate, our wedding. We highly recommend The Community House.

The Community House was the only wedding venue my husband and I toured and we instantly fell in love. The venue is stunning, the food was amazing, and the staff is incredible! We had to postpone our reception 3 times and the staff was SO accommodating and made the postponing process seamless. Lauren Timmerman was great to work with, so responsive, and made our day stress free. All of our guests are still raving about the venue, staff, and the food. Highly recommend The Community House — you won’t regret it!

I initially picked TCH not only for their phenomenal reviews, but for the lead event coordinator. In true 2020 fashion, 4 months into holding my hand through wedding planning questions, I got news she was leaving for a career change and my heart dropped. I was in complete disbelief someone "new" would be able to fill her shoes and start from square one......I couldn't have been more wrong. Tim, the now Chief Operating Officer, took over the roll and stepped up to the plate with bells on! He always responded promptly to my emails. He even gave me his personal number and made himself available on the weekend if it worked better with my schedule. He did whatever he could to put my mind at ease. The day of our wedding was honestly perfect. I know people say that about their own wedding, but ours was. It was the first day in over a year I didn't feel overwhelmed. I was unbelievably relaxed and accepted that whatever happens, happens. Naturally, there was some chaos going on behind the scenes, but no one had the slightest clue because of how well TCH took care of everything! I had a large wedding party (6 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen) and a rowdy bunch at that! Tim flawlessly kept everyone on track and our timeline flowed beautifully. I had NO IDEA how extensive a wedding timeline was, but thank goodness Tim was a pro! *I think he mentioned he'd helped organize over 750 weddings at this point* The food came out quickly, served hot, and was delicious!! We had some extreme "food snobs" and even they were impressed. The wait staff was delightful and truly courteous. I've got to say, the bartenders were the biggest hit! Whenever someone brings up our wedding, it's practically impossible not to mention how incredible the bartenders were! We had a GREAT experience with TCH and would highly recommend it! The only con would have to be transportation/parking. (and this is merely just location wise, not TCH) The hotel we blocked rooms off with normally provided shuttle service, but it was shut down due to Covid. Other hotels within the short distance of the venue don't even offer shuttle service so just something to be mindful of! Using the parking structures wasn't bad, but people aren't always a fan of them.

we had our daughters wedding here and can't say enough. Because of the pandemic our daughter decided it was best to change the date. The Community house accommodated us in every way and worked with us to the end. Tim Hunt was amazing, he went out if his way to make this day very special. If I had any questions anytime he always got right back to me. Our guests couldn't say enough. Thank you to Tim Hunt, the Chef and his staff for a perfect wedding!! I highly recommend the Community House!

I'm so thankful that we were able to have our wedding reception at The Community House! We've received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, how delightful the food was, and how great the service was. Liz was amazing to work with! She was prompt with responses, went out of her way to find answers, and was willing to meet with us multiple times. It was the perfect amount of space too! Not too bg and not too small---very romantic. I highly recommend calling now!

In July 2021 held a “rehearsal reception” for our son’s wedding. 76 people and not once did my wife or I asked for assistance related to anything. The staff anticipated all needs and we just mingled and enjoyed the night. The easy to plan and implement event we have ever experienced. 2 weddings, 3 Bar Mitvah’s gave us background in challenges of large family/friend events. These folks were the best!

My husband and I cant say enough fantastic things about the Community house and its staff. Tim, our coordinator was absolutely a dream to work with, especially during the pandemic. He was responsive, had fantastic options and really just went out of his way to make our day easy, smooth and a great experience. On our wedding day we had storms and crazy flooding and Tim and his team had options for us as soon as we reached the venue for our ceremony that was supposed to be held outside. His team pivoted and had the place completely ready for our guests. Every single one of our guests made a point to come tell us how beautiful everything was and how fantastic the food was. There was nothing but praise for the staff as well. You could really tell they care! We really just cant say a big enough thank you to The Community House and their team! Thank you!

The Community House was our reception venue this past May and my husband and I were thrilled and overwhelmed with how beautifully everything turned out! We worked with Erin and she went above and beyond to help us plan throughout the changing COVID restrictions during our engagement season. She was in consistent communication with us and was very patient with our responses. Everything from the dinner tastings to the final product was perfect! Our guests (and us!) loved the food and service from the staff. We cannot say enough good things and were truly blessed to have our wedding reception at the community house!

The Community House was an exceptional venue to host our wedding. The venue and staff were very flexible and agile in adjusting based on COVID restrictions at the time. They did an amazing job to ensure that our needs were met and even had great suggestions on things we weren't even thinking of at the time. Our guests loved the venue and thought it was very classy and the food was superb that was served. All around amazing experience with the venue it self and the great staff. 100% recommend this venue.

I highly recommend The Community House for a wedding reception! What beautiful memories I have of our wedding reception 26 years ago! The food, building, bar, staff, decor and stage for the band was perfect! We got married just down the street at First Baptist Church of Birmingham, now named Sanctuary, and had our first honeymoon night at The Townsend. Perfect location in downtown Birmingham! We will always treasure cutting our cake and our wedding dance on the spacious ballroom floor! Gorgeous!

The professional way everything was done. Covered all the details and even made helpful suggestions. Food, service and day was perfect. Would definitely use this venue again and again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Community House! My daughter was married during the pandemic which added a bit of stress to the wedding planning. However, the staff at The Community House were so helpful in helping us recreate our wedding. They were on top of the Covid protocol and made the transition easy and safe. We had originally planned to use the outside tented terrace just for our cocktail reception, however when the pandemic changed things, the outdoor space was large enough to host our entire reception--comfortably and elegantly! The food was outstanding. There were so many wonderful dinner choices—we ended up selecting filet mignon and salmon. We received many compliments from our guests about how wonderful the meals were and how attentive the waitstaff was. Our out of town guests loved being in the heart of beautiful Birmingham, MI. Many guests stayed at the Townsend Hotel and the Holiday Inn Express and enjoyed the easy walk to the venue. The Community House is hands down the best place in the greater Birmingham/Bloomfield area to host a wedding or any large event!

The Community House was our reception venue for our wedding this past February. The venue was so lovely and had everything we were looking for. Not only was it close to our ceremony venue (first baptist down the street), but it had a timeless vintage ambiance with the vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, fireplaces, and stage. My husband LOVED the private room we got to use next to the bar, he gets overwhelmed in crowds and that private room (not open to guests) was his safe haven. It was a perfect warm setting for our winter wedding. We worked with Sarah and I cannot say enough great things about her. Her communication skills should really be applauded with my million questions and emails I sent her. She was always quick to respond, very helpful, professional, and coordinated our in-person meetings with my busy schedule. Wedding planning is so overwhelming for a bride, but Sarah helped to organize my thoughts, request information in forms that helped keep me on track, and asked me questions about things I hadn't even thought about! I cannot stress enough how helpful she was from the first time we met for a tour in April 2019, throughout the planning process, and making our February 2020 wedding day perfect. We got so many compliments from guests on how beautiful our wedding day was, the waitstaff was so nice and attentive, and I would recommend this venue to everyone!

The Birmingham Community House, in the heart of of the city, was the perfect location for our daughter's wedding. From start to finish they were organized and easy to work with. The ballroom, with the stage and fireplaces, was the ideal setting for our daughter's wedding vision. One of the main reasons we chose The Community House was the layout with the stage. It provides plenty of room for guests to mingle and to dance. Having the band on the stage gives the feel of being at an intimate concert venue. The outdoor tent was an ideal setting for our cocktail party. The food and service were top notch! Many of the guests commented that the food was outstanding and that the drinks were generous. Lastly, I'd like to give a shout out to Sarah and the entire staff who made this experience so memorable for our family and all our wedding guests.

I LOVED the Community House. It was the perfect venue for a great price! Everything about it was absolutely beautiful. We planned our wedding for two years and throughout the process, Sarah did a wonderful job answering our questions and making sure we felt taken care of. She served as the day-of coordinator and was awesome! Sarah contacted all of our vendors to set up delivery times for us. Everything was on track and went smoothly. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was awesome. I especially want to thank Leon! He was the best! Leon really interacted with the guests and made us feel cared for.

I had my daughter wedding shower at TCH 10/06/19. I had never been there before but a good friend recommended it back in March ’19. As soon as I walked in I knew that’s where I wanted my daughter’s shower to be. The elegant stairway in the foyer, the French doors, ivy carpet, big gas fireplace, and the crystal chandeliers in the Wilson room I was sold. Molly the event sales administrator (planner) was just wonderful to plan with, so responsive. She had good suggestions and gave plenty of attention to details and planning. There were no surprises. When I walked in the day of the shower the room was perfect each table had the correct number of chairs with fresh linens. The banquet captain Karen checked with me throughout the shower double checking on serving times. The servers Virginia, Carolyn, Hannah and Mary were also very responsive to guests, professional and personable. The food was above the top. The signature chicken salad—the presentation was gourmet and so tasty. Grilled chicken sliced on half of the plate, then arugala lettuce wrapped tight in a thin piece of cucumber with feta on top.I would highly recommend TCH for a perfectly elegant social event. I’m still floating.

The Community House made the best day ever... even better. Sarah was a dream to work with - super nice, very communicative and easy to get ahold of, and beyond helpful. We didn't hire a planner or day-of coordinator and completely relied on Sarah & her team to get all our decor set up and the vendors in and out. Everything went perfectly. The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent, and everyone had a blast. It was flawless!

Sarah Tufts, Event Sales and Coordinator, is extremely professionalism. She catered to every need and answered every question with promptness and knowledge. I would highly recommend you request Sarah to handle your event. The Community House is a hidden gem in the Detroit Metro area! The food was excellent and plentiful; the bar package was high quality; the serving staff was courteous, kind and professional; the venue was immaculate; the Bride's Room was a bonus for nursing mothers! As a corporate event planner myself, I was totally impressed!

The Community House was the best decision we made for our wedding day! My wedding was June 8, 2019 and not only was the weather perfect, the level of service we received from The Community House was perfect as well! Sarah was our POC for our wedding; she was very helpful, responsive, professional and she even had a few ideas/suggestions for our big day! The food was excellent and our guests raved about how timely and elegant our wedding and reception turned out. I would definitely recommend The Community House for your wedding!

We cannot say enough nice things about The Community House and our coordinator, Sarah Tufts. The Community House itself created amazing photo ops; from the beautiful tent, to the courtyards, to the reception hall, to the hallways with the staircase and chandeliers. The food was amazing (We had steak, chicken marsala and eggplant parm), the drinks were well mixed and the staff was friendly and efficient. Every waiter stopped us both to say congrats and made the day feel even more special. And we cannot speak highly enough of our coordinator Sarah who executed on our vision flawlessly. We kept expecting something to go wrong, as you always hear, but that moment never came. Sarah juggled every vendor fantastically and coordinated the "day of" perfectly. Any wedding day jitters or concerns were for nothing! If you are a couple who feels the slightest bit of anxiety about planning your big day, you should do so through Sarah and the Community House. They will take amazing care of you.

What a wonderful and memorable place to hold an important event! Sarah is great to work with--responsive, great suggestions, available, kind--I cannot say enough about how wonderful she. The staff was great, and I definitely appreciated the fact that Leon knew French and was able to speak with the French grandparents who knew no English. The venue is beautiful, the amenities are great and the service is the best you will find. All our vendors (DJ, florist and photographer) were familiar with the venue (we found the vendors on our own, it was just a coincidence they were all familiar with the venue), so they needed nothing from us except a date and time, which relieved us of some of the details. The food was wonderful and the price was great compared to so many other venues. I look forward to the next opportunity to host an event at the Community House. They make it easy and fantastic!

On our search to find our wedding venue, The Community House was one of our last stops we had and as soon as our tour was over, we knew immediately that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. We started to work with Tim, and about half way into the process, they had a change of staff and we then started to work with Natalie. The changeover was seamless and stress-free. Natalie was very organized and easy to work with. She went above and beyond and was always asking us if we wanted certain things we would have never thought about having but they made our wedding so much better. We had both our ceremony and reception at The Community House and all we hear are great things from our guests - saying this was the best wedding they have been too, the food was amazing, the bar had an awesome selection, and so on. We highly recommend any couple looking for a venue to book with The Community House.

The Birmingham Community House was not only the perfect setting for the biggest day of our lives, but it was also the absolute best staff you could have asked to work with! Sarah is one of the most professional, accommodating, and organized event coordinators in the business, which helped so much when planning from across the country. Furthermore, we had so many comments since the wedding about how amazing the staff was during the event, which we both noticed and felt was one of the best parts of our reception. Our wedding was just one of several family events that we have held there throughout the years, and it will for sure be a future venue of choice to work with.

Natalie was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond our expectations coordinating our event. She even selected my centerpieces and bouquets with the flower vendor so I didn't have to. My veil fell out as I was about to walk down the aisle and she fixed it and fluffed my dress seconds before getting married. She was there the entire day to make sure everything went seamlessly and worked with all of our vendors so that all we had to do was enjoy our special day. I would strongly recommend this venue to anyone - it was so beautiful and the service was amazing. We had so many compliments. The food was great too!! We are SO happy we chose the Community House! Sarah was our point of contact during planning and the day of and she was so helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and on top of everything. When you reserve the hall portion of the building, you get the whole building for the evening. Our cocktail hour was in a tent on the patio, that also has an uncovered portion (the weather was beautiful, so this worked out perfect). The food, the bartenders and all around service was great! They made sure to serve us first so we could have a chance to walk around to greet all of our tables, and even served us a drink right when we sat down. We were able to bring our centerpiece items and all other decor items to the venue a couple days before and they set up everything for us. The venue itself is beautiful and classy - not a typical "hall" wedding. They have a stage in front of the dance floor and we had a live band, so they fit perfectly in that space. They also have a cute outdoor space with lights strung in the trees where a lot of people hung out during the reception. We would highly recommend!!

The Community House could not have been a more perfect venue for us. We wanted an intimate and elegant wedding, and it offered us just that. We had our ceremony in the tented terrace outside, and it was a beautiful, sunny summer day so Downtown Birmingham and Shain Park across the street made for the perfect backdrop. Our cocktail hour was also outside in the garden area which was beautifully set up. Our reception was inside the main ballroom and it could not have been more perfect. Everything from the chandeliers to the attached garden area with the waterfall and twinkle lights were so charming and romantic. Sarah Tufts, our event planner, made everything so effortless. She was a pleasure to work with, very hands-on, was always quick to respond to our questions and made sure everything went as planned. I know she was always very busy planning weddings literally every weekend of the year, but she always made us feel like ours was her priority. The entire staff was very pleasant, even some of our guests commented afterwards how wonderful everyone was. And the food was delicious. The Community House made our dream wedding come true!

The Community House was incredible! Sarah did an amazing job helping us to coordinate and plan our special day. She was always quickly responsive to emails and phone calls, and was thoughtful in offering her insight. The venue itself was perfect. We loved having the cocktail hour in the tent and having the two small outdoor spaces available to us throughout the reception so guests could have the option of dancing their hearts out on the dance floor or cooling off and visiting outside. They also were great about accommodating several of our ethnic traditions. The food was DELICIOUS. I even had time to eat it if I wanted, I was just too excited and overwhelmed to be hungry. The bites I had were great and many guests have noted how good their meals were. Overall, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I am so glad we chose this venue. It is beautiful and elegant, but still has history and charm. I fell in the love with the terraces and string lights. However, the best part about it was that Sarah Tufts was running the show. She is such a kind, warm, top-notch professional and made the entire process really enjoyable. There is no need to have a wedding planner - she is on top of everything and makes sure she is in touch with all of the vendors. We had the best experience and would chose this venue again in a heartbeat!

This venue is truly a class act! We worked with Sarah through our whole planning process and she is hands down the best. Sarah is so easy going and professional; she truly listens to what you want for your big day and makes sure that things run perfectly. Everything about our wedding day was a fairytale come true! The staff at the venue were so kind and professional, the food was delicious and gourmet, and the venue itself is so intimate. On the day of our wedding, Sarah made sure that things ran seamlessly and worked so well with all of our vendors to make sure the day was perfect. Absolutely NOTHING went wrong and I can accredit a lot of this to The Community House. I highly recommend them for any event!

I have no words. Everything about this venue is absolutely amazing. Beautiful outdoor space, gorgeous ballroom, dreamy garden, staff that goes above and beyond and delicious food. I had so many compliments and so many people asking "How did you find this place?" and "This is the best wedding I've been to in years". Tim Hunt was my coordinator and I would recommend working with him in a heartbeat. I could not be more thankful of everything that he did to make our wedding absolutely perfect.

I don't even know how to express the brilliance of The Community House. Tim was so wonderful - helping us plan our perfect wedding/reception on such short notice (less than 6 weeks). We held our ceremony on the terrace and reception in the ballroom. Tim helped make the space look full and welcoming for our guest list of 50. When our phones glitched and the ceremony music was not accessible, Tim used his phone to find the music and control it for the ceremony. Additionally - when I was nervous about getting the flowers set up (thinking I would need to do that myself) Tim had already had them placed. He is literally to die for - a true blessing for us. The food was AMAZING. Not a single complaint. We had salmon, chicken, and beef served. Instead of ordering a cake we opted to have The Community House cater cheesecake - a total hit! The service was very good - no nasty plates lingering around. The bar staff was wonderful too - especially for accommodating the children.

We cannot say enough good things about TCH. Venue is beautiful, the staff is attentive, friendly, and professional, the food was fantastic! We received numerous compliments from guests about the quality of the food and the service. We highly recommend THC!

Where do we begin! Having our wedding at The Community House was the best decision we could have made. Sarah Tufts was absolutely amazing to work with, she made us feel comfortable and organized throughout the entire process. The day of, everything went as planned, Sarah and her team went above and beyond. Every single member of staff was attentive and friendly. The food was out of this world - amazing - compliments to the chef. If your looking for a wedding venue, you've found it! Community House, we will be forever grateful, you guys are awesome!

Hosted a shower for my sister in their tented outdoor space and it was a complete dream! If you are considering The Community House, just go for it! Got so many compliments on how lovely her shower was. Staff was excellent to work with and the space really lends itself to pretty decorations.

Would recommend this place to everyone I know! Terrific staff, beautiful venue, we truly couldn't have asked for anything more!
