Harpeth Trio

Maureen Riley was our violinist for our wedding. She is truly talented and an absolute professional. We asked Maureen if she could play with a friend of ours who is a pianist and she didn’t hesitate one bit. They practiced together only one time briefly before the ceremony but you wouldn’t have known it by how beautiful and wonderful the music sounded. We would absolutely recommend Maureen!

Maureen Riley was the violinist for the wedding of Dana Patrick and Jeff Dunn in Nashville, TN. I had the privilege of collaborating with her on the piano for the wedding. She is a wonderful, musical player with excellent credentials and much experience. She is flexible and professional, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a violinist in the Nashville area.

The Harpeth trio is wonderful! The music was beautifully played and well selected. For the reception they play a wide variety from classical to the Beatles. They played whatever I wanted with lots of their own selections as well. I left most of it up to them and they were perfect. Many many compliments about their presence and their music. They were most professional. Highly recommend!!

The Harpeth Trio played at my wedding in October, but my wife, Carla, didn't get to hear a lot of it because she was getting ready and her staging area was far away. I asked them to play at her birthday party as a surprise, and it was wonderful! They recreated the music from our wedding beautifully, and it was a perfect surprise. They went the extra mile to get the scheduling to match up, and they even played "Happy Birthday" for her as we walked in! They made her birthday one she will never forget. I can't say enough about how great they are to work with, and how beautiful their music is.

The Hartpeth Trio played during our ceremony at our wedding on September 29th at the Nelson Andrews Leadership Lodge. They were amazing! I could not have been happier that we hired the Harpeth Trio to perform our wedding. From the get-go they were right beside me guiding me through figuring out all the details I didn't realize I had no plan for. They jumped on a call with me, and within a few minutes they had all the info they needed to send me a rough outline for our wedding music. What made the day extra special was how accommodating they were when I told them that I wanted to write a piece for them to perform at our wedding. They sent me a recording so I could hear their interpretation and provided insights on when it would fit best in the ceremony. And they played it beautifully! Sadly, I was only able to listen to them during the ceremony (wedding pictures, ugh!), but our guests raved about them! I would recommend them to anyone looking to hire a fantastic string trio! Harpeth Trio was fantastic at our wedding. They were great on communication and fitting our needs. They had plenty of options so we could mix different genres of songs to fit the occasion. They also helped direct us with all the choices we needed to make for songs choices. I had no idea how many songs we needed for just ceremony precession! We had them play for ceremony and cocktail hour. We had quite a few people comment on them and loved the touch. These ladies were a joy to have help the wedding day be a little more unique. And with me and my husband being musicians, it was pretty neat to have them playing. I definitely recommend these ladies!

I wanted a non-standard song played when I walked down the aisle. I sent them a YouTube video of what I wanted. They found the guitar sheet music and adapted it for their trio. It was amazing.
