This space is adjacent to the west terrace area which has a beautiful tent with retractable sides and tent heater, Prefect for your wedding ceremony site Spring, Summer or Fall. The North Patio is also accessible from the Ballroom, which provides outdoor space to enhance your event. These additional spaces allow for simple transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The venue's neutral palette, elegant interiors, and understated design make it ideal for a range of wedding themes.
You're in good hands with their experienced event coordinator Paula Balzeski. With two decades of experience at Cascade Hills Country Club she will offer detailed guidance on planning, including creative ideas and practical solutions for the day's logistics. Her goal is to take care of all the details so you can focus on making memories. The catering and dessert are also taken care of by the country club's team. Executive Chef Roel Smith collaborates with his culinary staff to curate a menu that suits your tastes.

This venue was PERFECT for our special day. Every detail was thought through perfectly and I cannot say enough good things about the coordinator, Paula. She stayed in communication with us via email, text, and phone call throughout the entire process and helped to calm my nerves as a bride with a lot of anxiety that everything would work out well. She made sure that everything was perfect and went above and beyond to do so.
The venue itself was beautiful. Happy hour outside was a hit and people enjoyed spending time in the outdoors prior to the reception which was inside. It provided a nice way to begin the evening. The reception food was amazing from the appetizers to the dinner, and even the beverages provided at the bar. We got so many compliments on the food. Everything came out fast and delicious.
The venue also provided a beautiful landscape for pictures beforehand with just the bride and groom as well as the entire bridal party. The setting was perfect and beautiful.
Paula herself took the time to check in with us throughout the wedding and make sure we had everything we needed. She helped us to have our dream wedding. I cannot say enough good things. I would highly recommend this venue and Paula to any bride looking for the perfect night. Amazing night with amazing people at an amazing place. 10/10!

What an amazing place to have a wedding reception! From the moment we walked in Paula and her team catered to our every need and made it stress free throughout. The tent overlooking the country club was an absolutely perfect setting for drinks and
hors d'oeuvres. The ballroom set up for dinner is an elegant and beautiful space. The food was perfectly prepared and came out quickly allowing all of our guests to eat at the same time. We had nothing but complements from our guests and heard from many that it was the best reception they have ever attended. Paula's attention to detail allowed us to enjoy the entire celebration. I would highly recommend Paula and Cascade Hills Country Club for a wedding reception.

We can’t thank Paula and the staff enough for everything they did to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams! From the first meeting to the tasting to coordinating the vendors and assembling a top-notch staff, everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. You all worked so hard so we didn’t have to. We could fully enjoy the day, and we absolutely did! You and your staff made sure everything went smoothly and seamlessly. And Chef Roel knocked it out of the park with the dinner. Literally everyone came to us to tell us how amazing the food was! The tent looked amazing, and the ballroom was like a fairytale! Paula and her team were professional, detailed, and provided wonderful service throughout the planning and day of my daughter’s wedding. The meeting to plan for the wedding, communication throughout the process, and the wedding day were stress free for our families, groom, and bride. Paula followed up with us after the event to ensure they provided great service and to confirm we had an exceptional experience. Beautiful facility with excellent food and staff. We had our wedding in October which is BEAUTIFUL with the fall colors. Paula was nothing but amazing through the whole process of planning and making sure all vendors and her staff were coordinated for the day of. The day turned out amazing and everything ran very smoothly. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say.

Absolutely perfect venue and staff! From the first meeting with Paula she left us with a confidence that our reception would be accommodated perfectly. Paula has years of service with the club which allows you to know she has things handled. The venue is absolutely beautiful! No need to rent chairs or tables or table service . The food options are wonderful and delicious. Service staff had food delivered hot and beautifully plated. Their pastry chef did a beautiful 3 tired delicious cake to top off the evening . Paula coordinated all the venders which allowed the mother of the bride peace of mind . Thank you Cascade for a perfect reception!

Cascade Hills Country Club was the perfect location for our reception! The venue itself is gorgeous - both the grounds and all of the indoor areas. The space was organized perfectly to accommodate all of our guests and vendors.
Paula, the event manager, was very helpful, both before the wedding day and during the reception itself. If something went 'wrong' during the reception, we had no idea - Paula kept everything running so smoothly that it was an absolutely perfect, flawless day for us! Our reception didn't start until 5, but Paula arranged for my husband and his groomsmen to come to Cascade to get ready at 11 and for us to take pictures there in early afternoon before the ceremony. Paula was flexible with our wedding-day plans, doing a speedy outdoor cocktail hour set-up when the weather amazingly cooperated! Thank you, Paula, for making a complicated day so easy for us!

As an out of town Bride, Paula, the wedding coordinator at CHCC could not have been more helpful! They were extremely accommodating with my limited time in Grand Rapids, and everything the night of our wedding went so smoothly. Everyone raved about the food, beauty of the venue, use of the patio, and service they received. If we had to do it all again Cascade Hills would definitely still be our choice!

Cascade Hills Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding reception, everything we dreamed it to be and more. The ballroom is gorgeous and newly renovated this year, the food was rave-worthy (and people did rave!), and Paula the events coordinator made sure every detail was perfect with her meticulous planning and big smile. Everything was amazing! The staff and the facility were first class. The whole day ran smoothly and our guests could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue and the taste of the food! I gave one less star on service only because they are a busy place (33 weddings per year) and I like to plan ahead and because they are so busy they can't finalize the details months ahead. So for all the type A personalities just beware. However, when it is time for your event to be the main event, they are completely invested. So nothing was missed or over looked, I just wanted all those details 2 months before they could give them to me :)

I was so happy that I was able to have my wedding at CHC. Paula was excellent and so helpful. They treated us just like we were members. Plus the location looked beautiful. I could not have asked for more! I had so many guests tell me after the fact that they couldn't believe how beautiful and fun my wedding was. Plus, they let us stay as late as we wanted. I don't think guests left until 1:30!

My wedding reception went perfectly according to plan because the staff at CHCC is exceptional! They knew what I wanted and anticipated what I might want and they did it all for us. Our guests were amazed at how wonderful the food tasted and it was done to perfection. The pastry chef made a beautiful and delicious cake!
