NightLife is the best band! Shelli is so easy to communicate with and ensures the night will go smoothly. NightLife was the best decision for my wedding and all the guests were talking about how amazing the band was. NightLife will bring the energy to the dance floor.

I can't say enough about Nightlife "Shelly and Will". They played at my daughter's wedding and made the night absolutely magical. From the time we hired them until the last dance of the night, they made everything so easy and flawless. They were great to work with making sure they knew what kind of music we wanted and implementing it into an awesome show. My daughter's wedding in July, 2024 was the third time we have had the Nightlife Band to a party--2 weddings and a 70th. They are a highlite every time. The music they choose, in consultation, appeals across generations. At midnight, the mix of dancers spanned 4 decades. The energy they bring and sustain throughout the night makes everyone joyous. An innovation they introduced to the order of events is magic in getting the party going. Before dinner, they play dance music for 15 minutes. It really makes everyone just feel good. We think so highly of their performances that we have flown the band to Seattle twice.

The NightLife band was simply fantastic! They performed at our wedding and perfectly complemented every part of our night. From playing accompaniment to our cocktail hour or keeping our dance floor lively for hours, they were exceptional! They were organized before the wedding and were proactive in learning and brainstorming how they could support our big night. On the night itself they were phenomenal, and many of our guests shared how much fun they had with the band. They were and integral part of our special day and we are so grateful they performed at our wedding celebration!

Wow-Shelli & Will brought sunshine and rocked it out at Freedom Hill Horse Rescue's 6th Annual Spirits and Steeds festival despite the rainy day. The music selection is impeccable. People were dancing & singing in the rain. Shelli is so accommodating and flexible and the absolute best to work with. Will had a smile on his face the entire day & the nicest guy ever.

We had NightLife Band at our recent fundraiser. Working with Shelli was a great experience from start to finish. Shelli was always very accommodating as we modified the vision of our event. She was always available to answer questions, and relayed all of our event details to Kurt, or DJ extraordinaire. The night of our event, Kurt was phenomenal! His music selection was appropriate to the event, and he was always willing to make announcements helping us to keep the evening running smoothly. When the dance floor opened, Kurt had a great selection of songs and brought his enthusiasm to every song he played and sang. This band was the best!!! They were organized and helped tremendously during the planning stages. My daughter wanted her wedding to happen in three months and this band’s attention to detail and desire to make the event just what my daughter wanted made the night perfect! Great music and kept the party going all evening!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Shelli and the band. First, just in the planning of our timeline and working in a few special surprises, to working through things with our venue and special audio/ video was incredibly helpful. She also lined up a string duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which were also amazing!! During our reception, they kept things moving, kept the guests excited, energized and ON THE DANCE FLOOR. We had so much fun!!! Our guests loved that we had live music and Nightlife Band did not disappoint. My new husband insisted and I'm so glad he did and he found them too!! The Humane Society of Calvert County had Shelli and her fantastic band play for our biggest fundraiser of the year, and they sure did not disappoint! Shelli and her band are so professional and courteous and go to great lengths to ensure customer satisfaction. They are engaging with the audience, can play all types of music and Shelli is a fantastic singer and her band will rock the house! They keep the crowd on their feet wanting more! Everyone that attended complimented on our band choice and many wanted their contact information. We will have another big fundraiser in 2024 and Nightlife will be our choice for entertainment without a doubt.

My company had a cocktail recpetion at the Icelandic Ambassador's residence and Kurt & Shelli were fantastic! Great selection of songs, high energy & very accomodating. Everyone was talking about it the next morning and made everyone jealous who wasn't able to attend :)

Nightlife is the only band I would ever hire. My 60th birthday celebration was a big hit thanks to them. We have been at many events for CF, our sons wedding and now my party that Nightlife has performed and they are hands down the best band around.

I cannot say enough good things about Shelli and NightLife! Firstly, my husband and I were one of the couples caught up in the spring 2020 wedding postponements and ended up having to postpone our wedding multiple times. Shelli was unbelievably empathetic and understanding each time and remained incredibly communicative. I so appreciated her check-ins and kind words throughout this process. She was also so flexible--we had worked out a timeline ahead of time, but of course things come up and shift in the moment--and Shelli (and team!) adapted like an absolute pro every time. An absolute pleasure to work with. And NightLife's actual performance was outstanding! NightLife is an incredibly high-energy band with a fantastic music selection, incredible performances, and fun dance moves! Our guests were absolutely raving the entire night about how amazing they were, commenting that they were the best band they'd ever seen at a wedding. I'd have to agree! The music performances were incredible, but it was evident that they were having a great time, which was infectious! We feel so, so lucky that Shelli and NightLife were able to be a part of our celebration--even after 3 years of postponements! I have to agree with our guests that they're the best wedding band around. If you're thinking about hiring them for your event--DO IT! You absolutely will not regret it.

NiteLife is the most high energy band and working with Shelli was amazing. Our wedding reception was over the moon, we are still in awe at the event. Everyone was on the dance floor!! My wife and I were so thrilled to have The NightLife band at our wedding! Shelli was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. She was very helpful in picking songs that would be great for a wedding when we were looking for suggestions. The night of the wedding was unforgettable and we received so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding they've been to. They played all the songs/genres we requested and were very high energy! Shelli would dance with the guests and lead the group dances to keep everyone in sync. She was awesome! One thing that I was concerned about hiring a live band was them being too loud and not being able to talk with all our friends and family that we haven't seen in years, but that was not an issue at all. The volume was perfect the whole night. I highly recommend hiring these guys! They are pros through and through! We had a beautiful, memorable wedding and couldn't have asked for a better wedding band.

We had NightLife play at our wedding and they were so fun! They knew exactly what to play to have everybody on their feet dancing. There was such a variety of music that every age group was dancing, we are 22 and our 70+ year old grandparents were dancing as hard as we were! I never expected my husband to spend the entire night on the dance floor, but we were just having too much fun. 100% would recommend if you want to have a fun and energetic wedding.

We hired NightLife Band for our daughter’s May 2020 wedding which was ultimately postponed until May 8, 2021. Wow, was it worth the wait! Words can’t begin to express how happy we were with our decision to go with this band. My daughter recently married 10/10/2020! The NightLife Band completed the beautiful day. All of our guests enjoyed the upbeat great dancing music. The Nightlife Band has provided the entertainment for our annual Valentine's Gala fundraiser for the past 7 years. We love working with Shelli and the band. They are easy to work with leading up to and during the event. People love their music; the selections are perfectly tailored to our audience and the dance floor is packed all night. I booked Shelli and The Nightlife Band for a black tie chairs Gala I co-chaired (Feb 2020). They were phenomenal! The booking process was simple, great communication leading up to the event and the guests loved their energy. This was a veterans gala and Shelli needed to also sing the National Anthem, she did so flawlessly. This event happens annually and I have never seen so much dancing before. Would 100% work with them again.

Night Life played for our 20th anniversary party and everyone loved them. They started off nice and easy while guests mingled and ate. When it was time to start dancing, they kicked it off with some Bruno Mars. The band is amazing with everyone being so talented. People I would have never expected to get up and dance did! They were a huge part of making it a memorable occasion for all in attendance.

We had The band play for our 25th Anniversary . They did an excellent job setting up and working with the venue and an agenda was planned and emailed over ahead of time. Shelli worked with us to prepare a song list. They have a wide variety of choices from many decades to modern pop, rock etc. We wanted to include some Bollywood songs and they were able to do it via the system. The energy was amazing and we had people on the dance floor the ENTIRE time! We has positive comments from guests and the band helped make this a very memorable occasion..

Night Life Band was the Entertainment for the evening on Thursday, October 31, 2019 that I hosted for Seniors 55 years and older! Shelli, Scott, and Kurt were the hit of the party! The guest came in full costumes and so did every member in the Band! The selection of music was oldie but goodies and when the band took a short break Kurt put on Thriller, The Freaks Come Out at Night, Ghost Busters and a few other Fun Halloween Songs... The crowd went Silly Crazy!! What we all enjoyed most about the NightLife Band is their high energy and how they interacted with the crowd! Kurt is a one man musical genius with every instrument sound you would want to hear! Shelli and Scott sang with the guest and even allowed me to Dance and sing with them on several up beat songs. By the end of the evening I realized I had just spent the evening with 3 new friends and I even told Kurt after we found out Both of us were Born and Raised in the original DC area that he was my new Brother from another Mother!! lol If you are looking for a Band to party all night with the exact same energy that they start with, then NightLife Band is the one you Gotta Choose for All types of occasions and that is the Truth!! NightLife truly MADE our wedding reception. They were so engergetic and got everyone dancing on their feet. The vibe they helped create was incredible and guests were raving how great they were. Getting a good band was one of our most important elements of our wedding and they did not dissapoint. Not to mention every band member, espeically Shelli, is the sweetest! NightLife Band was incredible!! We went to see them in DC and loved them so much. Hired them for our daughter's wedding in Ellicott City on October 12th 2019. Our guests haven't stopped talking about them!! The band leader, Shelli, has enormous energy, so organized, was a pleasure to work with, and was able to fulfill all our requests. The entire band was awesome! Everyone was dancing!! Couldn't have been more pleased!!!

We are so happy we chose Nightlife as our wedding band! They were very professional, were great with helping us develop a timeline of the wedding reception, and of course were wonderful musicians/performers! The process starts when Shelli, the lead singer and band leader, sending out a questionnaire of how we want the day to go, what songs we want to play, and any other detail we can think of musically. Shelli will take all of our answers, and make suggestions based on our tastes and if we wanted it to be a food focused event or dancing focused event. The suggestions really helped make sure we got everything out of the band, and make sure we made use of our time. Shelli even provided up lighting that really accented our reception room. It was evident they had A LOT of experience playing at weddings! Having a very experienced band be essentially in charge of the flow of the wedding reception allowed us to completely relax and enjoy our perfect day. We have received numerous compliments about our band and 3 months later our guests are still raving about Nightlife! The music was everything we could have hoped for and more. All of their musicians were fantastic and very friendly. They played everything we asked them too and more…it was really amazing! If we were to plan our wedding all over again we would 100% hire Nightlife again. We recommend them to all of our family and friends!

If you are looking for live entertainment for your wedding, look no further. Nightlife is the best live band for any event that will keep your dance floor packed all night long. They play a wide variety of music that is tailored to your preferences that will also appeal to all ages at your event. Their energy on stage is unmatched and is not only great to dance to but to watch and listen as they choreograph moves to many of their songs. Shelli was awesome and easy to work with allowing us to customize our musical preferences, use pre-recorded music for some of our first dances as they were choreographed to original score as well as performing some of the tunes as well. There is the perfect blend of energetic and slow songs, to allow all guests to enjoy the dance floor. If you are also looking for ceremony music as well, Nightlife works with String Poets to provide string music. They also will provide sound support for your ceremony as well if needed as an add on option. We have been to multiple events where Nightlife has performed, and every single time is awesome! We knew that we could put our trust in them for our big day in June 2019. Many wedding guests continue to rave about the music from our wedding to this day 3 months later. They made a lasting impression and can’t wait to dance to their music soon!

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Night Life recently performed at our 40th. High School Reunion. We could not have asked for a better performance. The energy in the Venue was driven by this fantastic band. Our Classmates were blown away by the variety of music that they were able to play. Next year's 40th Reunion has already booked this amazing Band for their 40th. It wasn't a wedding but over 300 people joined us for "Shelter Showdown" to benefit the Animal Care Shelter for Kent County (aka Humane Society) and NightLife Band was a major highlight. The dance floor was never empty and post-event comments were plentiful. As with most event plans hic cups happen and we were no exception … Shelli and band members were extremely accommodating and flexible to solve some early evening challenges … a TERIFFIC BAND!

We've had NightLife at our annual corporate party for over 15 years. They are the best and Shelly is amazing! Our guests tell us every year they love the band and they make the party!

If I could give the NightLife Band 100 stars, I would! We have followed NightLife for several years but only recently hired them for a surprise retirement party for my husband, and they did not disappoint, no surprise! Shelli's constant energy makes it difficult to stay in your seat, and her voice is beyond fabulous! Kurt's saxophone playing is out of this world great, not to mention he has a great connection with Shelli on stage! There are not enough words to describe how phenomenal they truly are!
