Photography was one of our most important choices when planning our wedding. We wanted to make sure we had photos we could display for years to come, and images that aren’t like the average wedding portrait. So based on the images we had seen from other weddings, we booked Eric and are so glad we did. We had an an engagement shoot last year and he captured our wedding last weekend. While we have only looked at a small preview of shots from the wedding so far since it was last weekend, we are thrilled with our decision to hire Eric. My now-husband had wanted to hire Eric since he saw him doing the photography for a friend's wedding. He showed me the friend's wedding album and I was sold, too. From our first chat, Eric was fun and easy to work with. He drove up to the lakes region in New Hampshire to do our engagement session, and worked with us to make that experience smooth even though neither my husband or I had ever really done much in front of a camera. He took great advantage of the area and captured some great photos. At our wedding he was so organized, making sure we got all the photos on our shot list and then many that he knew we'd want to have. He was never obtrusive or in the way of the flow of the day, but managed to be right there for every important moment. My husband and I were honestly blown away when we got our final photos (and impressed we got them within only a month!) and couldn't believe all the great moments, feelings, and expressions that Eric captured. Eric McCallister is truly the best in the business. Back in 2018, one of my coworkers got married and used Eric as her photographer, and I instantly fell in love with his work. I knew that someday if I were to get married, he would need to be my photographer. Well, fast forward 3 years, and I am lucky enough to say that Eric was my wedding photographer! From the second I reached out to him after getting engaged, I knew he was the perfect fit. He was so easygoing, friendly, professional, and flexible. We decided to do an engagement shoot at Fort Foster in Kittery, which was SUCH a blast - he was so creative and fun, fully capturing the love between us, and willing to do crazy things to get nontraditional pictures of us! He promised photos within one week, and within one week, we had them. He even sent us a sneak peek that night with some of our photos. Fast forward to our wedding, and Eric and his assistant Todd completely blew us away. They showed up even earlier than they originally planned, and snapped photos of things I never would have even thought to ask for. I am SO glad there were two of them, so that they could capture both myself and my husband getting ready, along with solo portraits before we became husband and wife. Eric and Todd were troopers throughout their eight hours of coverage, stealing us for the coolest and most unique photos all throughout the night, but never being invasive or taking away from the most important aspects of our wedding. To top it all off, he sent us sneak peek photos from our wedding THAT SAME NIGHT. His dedication and effort is unreal, and so hard to find. I cannot recommend Eric McCallister enough. I cannot recommend Eric enough! He truly knows so many of the local venues and has so many recommendations on best places for shoots. He spent almost 4 hours wandering Boston with us for our engagement shoot last year, and he did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding just a few weeks ago. Neither of us are really “picture people” but he did such a great job working with us, and helping us get the best possible shots. Eric is an incredibly talented photographer. The pictures he took of our wedding at Alyson's Orchard were breathtaking. Our family and friends have admired the beauty that he captured in all his photos.He was well prepared and had an organized plan for the day. I was referred to Eric through another local photographer who was already booked on our wedding date. My husband and I had Eric shoot our engagement session last May, all of the pictures were breathtaking and exceeded our expectations. We knew that the photos from our wedding would be just as spectacular. Our wedding day was misty and cloudy so there was not much of a sunset, but we went out anyway to try and get some shots. Eric was able to transform the cloudy dark sky to something so beautiful and unique. Eric is in a league of his own. To say nothing of his artistic talent, Eric is a selfless, thoughtful, all around great guy – I hope we get to do some hiking or skiing together in the future. He went above and beyond so many times with us on the big day and during the months leading up to the wedding. I’d say he went the “extra mile”, but really it was more like 8 extra miles when Eric loaded up all of his equipment on his back and hiked with it up a few thousand vertical feet so that my wife and I could do an engagement photo shoot on the side of Mt. Washington. But that’s only part of the story, Eric has a gifted eye and is an extremely talented artist. He creates beauty and wonder out of spaces and angles that a left brainer like me would never imagine. Now, my wife and I are immortalized in that space of beauty and wonder. We purchased two large canvas prints from our engagement photo shoot and, one year later, they still bring such a huge smile to my face every time I walk by them. We had the pleasure of having Eric along for our rehearsal dinner cruise and made the great choice to have Eric bring a second shooter, Chris, for the big day so that nothing was missed. Eric is absolutely amazing. My partner and I are kind of awkward people and don’t typically photograph well, but he was great to work with, really put us at ease, and we look good in the pictures!! Eric photographed our downtown Boston wedding in December and captured our night perfectly. He has an eye for a backdrop and makes pictures unique. At our engagement session, he found ways to make a single destination produce so many different photographs. He was a true professional, brought an extra hand to help with the wedding day and we were thrilled with the result. It's almost unfair to limit a review to just words. Just take one look at the photographs Eric takes and you will not need to read any further. The pictures Eric is able to take are nothing short of spectacular . He can take a a gorgeous perfect day and capture it all on film, somehow making it even better. Eric is super easy to work with and very open to any ideas. When we first met Eric for our engagement shoot, I had a list of suggestions for places we could take our photos. Eric took my suggestion list and walked for 5 hours through the city of Boston so we hit not just one but all the sites. On our wedding day we were lucky enough to have beautiful skies on our wedding day and Eric was able to capture the skies color and vibrance in all our pictures. I love looking at the reception pictures from our wedding as well. There are so many pictures of all my guests caught in perfect moments of happiness and joy and fun. It is wonderful to have those memories captured. Eric's skills are truly worth every penny. Photography was the second most important wedding expense to me on my wedding day after the location and I don't think I could have asked for anything more than what Eric provided. Friendly, easygoing, and most importantly, incredibly talented.

Eric is an amazing photographer and was such a joy to work with! He did both our engagement and wedding photos and they turned out absolutely beautiful! He also sends the photos out really fast! After both sessions we had a handful of photos in our inbox the next morning (which was especially impressive after our New Year’s Eve wedding!), which made our moms very happy because they had awesome photos to post on Facebook! Eric provided all of our photos to us on a thumb drive, which was a huge selling point for us! During our wedding, Eric was by our side all night and captured all of the most important and special moments, but without being in our face or annoying. In fact, most of the time we didn’t even notice, which meant he got a lot of beautiful, genuine candid shots. Eric is a trooper and would do whatever he needed to get the perfect shot! At one point he was laying in the snow without a coat on to get a picture of us during the NYE fireworks show. We absolutely loved working with Eric and highly recommend him for any event.

We are from New Jersey and were married in Rockport, Massachusetts so there was a little bit of anxiety finding a photographer out of state for our destination wedding. I spent a lot of time researching photographers in the area and viewing their work and reviews. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Eric is a true professional. His photos are unique and classic. He has the ability to capture natural looking photographs with the most beautiful background without having it looked staged. Eric was great to work with. Open communication was important to us since we were planning a wedding from another state and he answered any and all questions we had promptly. Eric's pricing was fair and very reasonable. I searched through a million blogs to find a photographer that would really capture the energy of Mark and my special day -- when I found Eric's portfolio, I immediately reached out. I was a bit too late in the year and Eric was not available on the day of our wedding, so he introduced me to his associate photographer Peter Martin who still had the day open. Firstly, Eric runs a fantastic business; it was so easy and streamlined to work with him from start to finish, which is ideal when you have 500 things on your to-do list. The photos are insanely awesome. And as for Peter himself, it's hard to describe how amazing Peter is. Not just his eye for great shots of course, but his energy was perfect throughout the day. His demeanor was so fun yet still calming, just what a bride needs amidst the nerves. He was able to understand all of my family and friend's unique personalities and somehow capture all of those in the photos he took. Eric and his associate were one of our best choices for our wedding day. We decided to only hire a photographer, and not a videographer so we were hoping that the pictures would capture it all. We were not disappointed at all! You don't really need any more proof that browsing Eric's website to see his talent. What those pictures don't show you is that he is the hardest working vendor at your wedding. He is organized and focused all day - its amazing! We hired Eric and his assistant to take photos of our Rehearsal Dinner and our Wedding in July. I live in NYC and our wedding was in NH so I was putting a lot of trust in someone I hadn't met, even though I did a lot of research and booked him a year in advance. We were SO pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of his work. Our friends and family can not stop raving about the beautiful photos we have, and they all exceeded our expectations. At the last minute we asked him to photograph our rehearsal dinner and he made himself available and captured many beautiful photos of our clam bake. Eric has an artistic style, but incorporated many posed photos, beautiful candids, and our important details in a beautiful way. He captured moments my husband and I missed - which is such a gift for us. We had dinner with friends who are engaged recently and they asked us what was the best decision we made, and my answer was that we hired Eric! I had this vision in my mind of how great our photos could be and I was so ecstatic to have the final product (that we got in THREE WEEKS by the way) exceeded our expectations in any way. We haven't even gotten all of our photos yet and we are already blown away! Eric's photographs are breathtaking! Everyone we have shown our pictures to cannot stop raving about them. I can't say enough about how amazing Eric is!! He is very responsive with phone calls and emails and is very willing to work with his brides to get exactly what they want on their wedding day. He was always very easy to find on my wedding day if I wanted a quick picture with someone but was never in the way. There are not enough stars on this to capture how awesome Eric is as a photographer. He has such amazing vision and produces such unique photos. Our wedding day had temps in the 90's with high humidity, but it didn't stop Eric one bit- the guy never sits still! We have been getting non-stop compliments on our photos from everyone who sees them. A couple of people at my husband's work commented that our photos are by far the best wedding pictures they have ever seen. My only regret is that we didn't book him for more hours (we chose a 4 hr package since we were on a tight budget).
