Metro Cuisine Catering

Metro catered our April wedding and we were blown away at their level of service and the quality of food. Everything we ordered was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests! Kelley was very professional and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. The staff on the day were so kind and made everything feel seamless. They even saved some appetizers for my husband and I because we missed cocktail hour for family photos! I would highly recommend Metro to cater your wedding!

Metro Cuisine is an AMAZING caterer! They served delicious food, cleaned up, cut the cake, easy to work with and provided all the linens and napkins for my wedding. I highly recommend!

We knew we wanted fun, tasty food for our wedding, and I’m so glad we went with Metro! We chose to have slider, mac and cheese, and taco stations and it was PERFECT! I am a vegetarian and it was easy to pick options that worked for me. I’m also a huge mac and cheese fan and this mac was seriously delicious. The food was single handedly the thing our guests complimented the most. Highly recommend!

We had Metro Cuisine as our caterer for our wedding at the Scioto Audubon Center. Cynthia and also her colleague (I apologize I cannot remember her name) did a phenomenal job planning the catering: from a seamless set-up to tear down along with everything else in-between. Our venue at the time was BYO alcohol and we used their bartenders and mixers package for our open bar at the reception. The bartenders did great mixing drinks. Now the food... the appetizers were amazing! We did perogies, a mushroom/cheese tartlet, and a chicken croustade. We made our entire wedding reasonably affordable but opting to use their pasta bar buffet option. They had plenty of meats and veggies for different guests to choose along with sauces. All our guests were raving about the mushrooms and Italian sausage. The buffet was perfect and temp and the pasta held up very well without tasting overcooked or old. Furthermore, they were open to our family providing desserts and Cynthia enthusiastically planned a "cookie table" for our reception. Lastly we did a wedding cake from a separate vendor. Metro did a great job managing the cake once it was handed off to them. They also didn't charge us a cake cutting or a sperate fee for doing this. Overall Metro Cuisine, Cynthia, and her colleague made our wedding amazing. We had clear communication and invoicing. The rest catering team was efficient and friendly. We apricate all they did for our wedding night! Lastly, huge shout out to Cynthia for reaching out to us after the wedding letting us know that we left a card behind! We appreciate her getting that back to us!

Metro cuisine did a great job catering our wedding! We worked with Julia, had the short rib and brie stuffed chicken for our mains, and au gratin potatoes and green beans as a side. I think we chose things that would work well in a hot plate, and they did. Everyone commented on how good the food was. We shopped around a bit, and Metro had better food, and was cheaper, than anywhere else we tried. I do recommend.

We hired Metro for our wedding on 9/16/23 at Swan Lake in Powell, OH and they way exceeded our expectations! Kelley was our point of contact and she was awesome to work with! We had a lot of fun doing our menu tasting at Metro this summer. Kelley is really knowledgeable and helped us finalize our selections. She was very flexible and accommodated our custom requests. Kelley also joined our 90-day and 30-day venue meetings, which was greatly appreciated. We did a plated dinner service with chicken, short ribs, salmon and pasta as our options. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our guests on their dinners, which I feel like isn't common - usually wedding food is just meh and not memorable. My uncle said this was the first wedding meal he had that was actually served HOT, not just warm. We were very impressed with their service, especially because we had 134 people and Swan Lake doesn't have a kitchen on site. We didn't get to join cocktail hour since we were taking photos, so Metro set aside some of the appetizers and put them in our bridal suite for us, which we appreciated since we were starving! We also had a cookie table at the reception and Metro helped replenish it for us. They even boxed up the top tier of our wedding cake for us, so we can freeze it and eat it for our 1-year anniversary. A big THANK YOU to Kelley and team for being a part of our special day and making it memorable! I highly recommend Metro to any future brides looking for a catering service!

We went with Metro Cuisine for our wedding on 9/30/23 at FPC and we wouldn't have had it any other way. Julia was our point of contact throughout the whole process and holy crap, I cannot express enough how AMAZING she is. I was emailing her constantly with questions and changes and she would respond within minutes every single time. I think I had her quote me 10+ menu options and she did it so fast without any hesitation. What I specifically liked about Metro the most is that I had such a wide variety of foods offered during cocktail hour and dinner, but the price was just a small fraction of what other caterers were quoting me. For example, I originally wanted to book with Cameron Mitchell Catering. At CM, chicken or steak dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans, as well as meat/cheese and fruit tray for cocktail hour was over 15k dollars for 110 people. At Metro, we had chicken sliders, a nacho bar, Stromboli, fruit display, short ribs, bacon carving station, chicken, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and three different desserts for 12k dollars for 110 people. Our guests RAVED about how great our food was and everyone left with full bellies.

Metro Cuisine was a highlight of our wedding day! The service was prompt and the staff were so friendly. It seems small, but having the catering staff check on us during such a whirlwind day was so appreciated. They even created a platter of the cocktail hour appetizers for us to eat during dinner since we were busy socializing. They also packed up the leftover desserts for us at the end of the night which was so appreciated. The desserts, along with the rest of the food, were delicious! Our guests especially loved the mini strawberry cheesecakes. We worked with Julia and Cne' who were both incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and accommodating. We received quotes from other caterers in the area and found that Metro's prices were the most reasonable and upfront. We appreciated being able to look at their menu (which has SO many options!) and calculate the costs of different items to help us stay on budget. Thank you to Cne', Julia, and the Metro team for making our special day extra special!

Could not have asked for better food. Or service. We did the taco bar as our entree, and it was easily the best food we have ever had at a wedding. Our guests all said the same thing. Staff is tremendous and price is reasonable as well.

I truly could not have had a better experience with Metro Cuisine catering my wedding. First and foremost I have to mention Cne', who went above and beyond to make the typically stressful experience of wedding planning as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Cne' was responsive, accommodating, patient, incredibly organized, and was such an overall joy to work with. The wedding dinner went seamlessly, and the team was very kind and organized, once again going above and beyond. As an example, right before my husband and I were about to walk out for our grand entrance, one of the staff members kindly pointed out that the bustling of my dress was bunched up and help to quickly fix it. The staff checked in with us throughout the night and worked efficiently to serve a plated dinner to 150 guests. We have received countless compliments on the delicious food and found the company to be very fairly priced. I can't recommend them enough.

We are so happy we had Metro Cuisine cater our wedding! Julia was incredible through the entire process, from initial contact all the way to the day of. She dealt with my many, many questions and some unexpected budget and guest count changes with grace and complete professionalism, and I truly felt comfortable reaching out to her every time. The food itself was so delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day not only seamless, but enjoyable! We were provided with plates of the passed appetizers we may not have gotten around to during cocktail hour, and they made sure to release us to the buffet first so we could eat (we didn't even consider that this would happen, and it was a welcome surprise!). We loved having Metro Cuisine cater our wedding reception! They did a wonderful job serving our hors d'serves and buffet dinner, not to mention serving our personalized draft and canned beer! The food was absolutely delicious and they were reasonably priced compared to other caterers! They made sure that my husband and I got a full plate of food and each of the hors d'serves! We would definitely recommend them!

Cne’ and staff with Metro Cuisine did a phenomenal job to make our daughters wedding fantastic!! We had 250 guests and can’t tell you how many came up to say that the food was some of the best they have ever had at a wedding!!

Metro Cuisine did an absolutely wonderful job on our wedding day. Cynthia is super organized and all the meetings and drop off leading up to the wedding were well executed and detailed. On the day of the wedding, our room was beautifully set above and beyond what we had envisioned. And the food! Oh the food! So tasty, (we had Chicken Roulade, Maple Glazed Salmon, Risotto, and Grilled veggies) and we had so many guests raving about dinner. Thank you so much!!

Metro did a wonderful job catering our wedding! Cne' was wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and the service was great. We went for station dining (highly recommend the short ribs) and it was executed flawlessly. The desserts were great too. I would highly recommend the creme brulee spoon bites!!!

Metro did an unbelievable job catering our wedding! We went for a less formal, serve yourself station dining experience for dinner and it was executed flawlessly. All of the food was delicious but guests were raving about the chicken fajitas and the mini key lime pie tarts. Would highly recommend!

Half way through set up, a thunderstorm destroyed our plan. The venue lost power. Kelley and her team worked with our planner and came up with an alternative. The food was amazing!

We are so glad we went with Metro to cater our wedding! The food was delicious, everything about the linens and setup looked great, and the service staff was impeccable- we barely even noticed them all night, but they stayed on top of everything! From the initial tasting, to meetings to discuss set up and linen choices, to the day-of, everything was a breeze and we had no complaints. We will definitely use Metro again for our catering needs.

Metro was great to work with for our cocktail hour and wedding reception! The food was amazing and we didn't run out (we had around 200 people to feed), the service was awesome, and the food turned out exactly how we wanted! The food and service is reasonably priced and they offer fun tastings to try lots of food. The mac and cheese was definitely a hit! Thanks Metro!

I worked for Metro about 10 years ago so I was sure we were going to get a quality experience for our son's wedding, and I was right. That means consistency. We had a buffet for 300 people consisting of sliders with toppings, Mac n Cheese, Potato wedges/Sweet Potato Fries and grilled vegetables. Our guests RAVED about the food, especially the Mac n Cheese. But everything was absolutely delicious and I was overjoyed to give our guests a delicious meal. Metro was able to provide gluten free, vegetarian and soy free options. The grilled veggies were cooked perfectly and the variety was perfect. I have recommended them to several people and will definitely use them again for future events.

oh man, I can not say enough about this team. first and foremost, as a crazy type A planner, Cynthia was a true blessing to work with. she responds quickly, answers questions, offers guidance, and really though out the entire process anything we asked, she made it happen. the day of, staff were phenomenal. all of our guests were so impressed. and then the food....woah. we loved everything at our tasting, and our guests were thrilled with our food at the reception. it was everything I could have ever asked for. my dad has called twice to talk about how much he enjoyed his brisket and seasonal veggies. this company made planning the details so easy, and kept me excited about the wedding through the entire planning process. I highly recommend!

The most wonderful team and food! We were a postponement wedding from Dec 2020 to Dec 2021 and we worked with Emily and Vue Columbus. We weren’t able to do a tasting due to COVID but reviews reassured us and they were spot on. We continued to get compliments days after about the food and more so the first-rate staff. They were terrific! Emily answered every question I had and did it in a timely manner which I so appreciated. My husband and I will recommend them always. Thank you for all you did for us!

Best wedding food ever. We worked with Andrea from Metro for our wedding at Vue Columbus. Everything from the initial tasting, to the linens and chairs, to the wedding night food was spectacular. So many guests told us the food was amazing and we couldn't stop eating it, especially the appetizers! They were so great to work with and moderately priced. Would definitely recommend for a Columbus wedding or any event!

Metro exceeded my expectations as a wedding caterer. I cannot thank their staff enough for being so attentive to me, as well as our staff throughout the night. I never once had to go looking for anything, they were checking on me and my groom as well as our parents and grandparents throughout the night. I am so thrilled that I have some leftovers as the food was incredible, I wish I had more! They executed perfectly, highly recommend!

Emily was amazing to work with as we planned our wedding and rehearsal dinner. I had so many questions for Emily throughout the process and she was always quick to respond and so helpful. Most importantly, the food was great!

They are more than catering! The food was delicious and there are so many options to create your menu. However, I was so impressed with the staff on our wedding day. They went above and beyond to create the most beautiful wedding reception. I had extra greenery from our flowers and they used it to decorate in ways I wouldn't have even thought to use it! The service was great and they just go with the flow of your wedding. Andrea was such a calming presence which is so necessary on your wedding day and leading up to it. Our experience with Metro was great! They were a pleasure to work with - especially Andrea our coordinator. We loved her communication and willingness to be flexible - this was especially true when we had to postpone our 2020 wedding until 2021. The food was great, although we did pay for an additional tasting of the exact food we would be serving which was very helpful. Metro really went above and beyond - without asking when we ran out of pre-ceremony drinks, they noticed and made sure the bridal party/ VIPs had drinks (including pitchers of water!) before the ceremony and even providing a plate of appetizers for us to eat right after the ceremony since we did not join our guests for cocktail hour. Metro's entire staff was wonderful and we had a great time!

Metro cuisine did our daughter’s wedding at The Audobon Center. We were concerned about the food being prepared off site but it was not a problem. Food was hot on plates and portions generous and delicious. Staff was above and beyond amazing. They were professional and extremely helpful and accommodating. They even boxed all the decorations while dancing was finishing at end, making everything simple for us. 💯 recommend them.

We used Metro Cuisine for our wedding and everyone LOVED the food! People were complimenting the short rib all night! We worked with Emily and the experience was amazing, before the dinner we chose to have salad and rolls on the table so people could eat something while waiting to go through the buffet line and everything was hot and fresh! We also did mini cheeseburgers and veggie burgers later in the evening as a "late night bite". They also made sure to put a plate of the cocktail hour food at our table for my husband and I because we were taking photos during that time, we went with the big charcuterie meat and cheese style platter. We were a postponement wedding so there was a lot of communication due to rescheduling but Emily walked us through everything and was so reassuring the entire time! Also, there was a little bit left over and you get to take that home - let me tell you, you will not want to cook the week after your wedding and eating these leftovers was AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Andrea and the rest of the Metro Cuisine staff were super friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated that they were willing to help set up our decorations the morning of the ceremony. The food is PHENOMENAL, we loved the roasted veggie hors d'oeuvres. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone who personally asked me!

Metro was amazing from beginning to end! They made our day perfect. They made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted and even more. They helped us along the way and made sure we felt comfortable with everything. The food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about it. The staff made sure everything was clean and sanitized during the reception. They did a great job of following the precautions when it came to COVID so everyone felt comfortable. They provided excellent service to my husband and I and our guests. We are so happy we went with Metro as our catering company. They worked well with the Vue Columbus and Buckeye Entertainment to make sure our day was perfect!

Metro did a fantastic job for our wedding! With all the COVID changes, they were extremely accommodating and helpful when it came to planning and replanning our big day! They also did a great job at keeping everyone safe at the reception and adhering to the social distancing recommendations by spacing tables and helping to remind people to wear masks. They had everything beautifully decorated when we arrived and the food was great! Would highly recommend!

We loved working with Metro! Andrea was a delight to work with and very quick to respond to emails. We planned our wedding from CT, and with the exception of the tasting, we were able to do everything via email and zoom. Food is very important to us, and our wedding was planned around the food. We planned for each dish to reflect a meal from a location we had traveled to in the US. Metro even made dishes that weren’t on their menu. Even when we asked about fresh oysters (which Metro doesn’t do), they referred us to a reputable oyster person! We just got married on 8/22/20. When the pandemic hit and we had to cut our guest list from 150 to 18, Metro worked with us the entire time. And of course, the food was delicious! I highly recommend Metro for their professional work and their delicious food.

She and her team were amazing at the reception. The food was absolutely delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests about it.

We booked Metro catering for our reception at Vue. Our coordinator, Emily was fantastic to work with! Metro has a variety of menu options to fit your wedding. We even had a difficult time deciding what to choose, everything sounded so good. We are out of state but had no issues with our planning at all. Metro handles the coordination with Vue, we worked together to build the room lay out. I felt that were in experienced, professional hands. I want to thank Metro for their kindness and flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic. I absolutely would recommend Metro for your catering needs!

If you have the opportunity to book Metro and work with Andrea DO IT! I really don't know how we would have made it through all of the planning stress and the little questions that popped up without Andrea's calm, super-responsive, and helpful attitude. I joked that I was ready to marry her by the time the day came but seriously, she's amazing. Beyond the personal, let me tell you about the food. I have a lot of food allergies and we wanted to have a brunch reception, so not the standard chicken or fish sort of decisions. Andrea was willing to adjust our menu over and over again and to dig into and source foods that I'd be able to eat. The same held true for our guests with special diets. People have gone out of the way to compliment the food, with a lot of friends saying they hadn't ever been able to eat that well at a wedding. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I love them that much and can't imagine our wedding without them.

We used Metro catering for our wedding reception Feb 15 at the Vue Columbus. We were so happy with both the planning process and the final outcome we had with Metro catering. We attended the free quarterly tasting, and everything was delicious. There was also an option to do a private tasting with personalized options. The food at our reception was DELICIOUS and we got so many compliments. The asian glazed salmon with sticky rice and vegetables was to die for. I also highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower bites as an appetizer. Spencer was our contact person and basically acted as an event planner as well. He was very easy to get a hold of, quick to respond to emails, and flexible with meeting times! He also made great suggestions along the way in the planning process withe everything from food choices, flow of the night, and decor options. The bartenders and servers the night of the event were awesome as well. Everyone was so friendly and made sure our guests had an amazing time. I would not have changed a single thing about our big night and would absolutely recommend Metro catering and Spencer to anyone planning a wedding! Thanks to the whole Metro team for everything!

Metro Cuisine catered our wedding on Feb 8th 2020 and we were so happy with their services! Andrea was great to work with from start to finish and we really appreciated the suggestions she made for our menu. The food was fantastic! All of our guests were commenting on how much they liked the food, we were so pleased! Aside from the food, Andrea and her team went above and beyond for us - they helped us set up a cookie table with 4000 cookies, and helped us set out our guests favors and other decor, she was so accommodating and flexible - I would recommend Metro to anyone!!!

Spencer and his crew killed it. Throughout the process, Spencer was communicative and put any logistical fears/worries that come up when planning a wedding to rest. He provided insight on things probably even beyond his necessary role when I asked questions and helped me work through each detail with ease. We have gotten compliments on the food- (we did the pasta bar and people especially loved the meatballs and alfredo) as well as the appetizers we chose. The night of the wedding was so smooth and when I walked into the venue, I was amazed at how well Spencer and his team made what I imagined a reality. The bartenders and servers were attentive, helpful, and fun. I can’t speak highly enough of the experience I had with Metro!

My husband and I got married earlier this month, and Metro Cuisine was our caterer. Not only was the food DELICIOUS- they were so wonderful to work with. We worked with Cynthia and she is truly the best! My husband and I are from Columbus but now live out of state- planning a wedding without being in the area has the potential to be overwhelming and confusing- but Cynthia made it a breeze! She is so communicative and responsive and she has incredible attention to detail. She recommended vendors for us (music, DJ, florist, photographer) and we were thrilled with their work as well! The catering staff was amazing! They were so attentive throughout the evening, so present and kind to our guests and saved us extra appetizers since my husband and I didn’t have a chance to try them during the cocktail hour. We had a plated dinner and I was concerned that dinner would end up taking longer than expected (I was so eager to get to the dancing!) but the Metro Cuisine staff ensured that we stayed on schedule. I can not recommend this beautiful space and the Metro Cuisine team (especially Cynthia!) enough.

Metro and Andrea were amazing throughout the wedding planning process. Andrea made making decisions about linens, meals choices, placement of tables, etc really easy. The food was delicious! Everyone loved the beef ribs and my husband and I are obsessed with the mushroom bread pudding. The servers and bartenders on the day of were professional and helpful. We also rented farm tables and chivari chairs through Metro and it made our head table look fantastic. Metro was wonderful and I would recommend them!
