Jack is the owner of this company and one of my close friends. I knew I wanted his company to shoot our wedding. He did the bride and groom prep, while Cristian shot the rest of the wedding. They gave us 3 hours of raw footage, a 7-minute highlights reel, and a 1.5 hour edited video. The work that they did for all 3 products exceeded my expectations! RUN TO BOOK HIM!

The team from J & L Wedding Films not only gave us the most beautiful photos and video of our wedding day, but their presence and professionalism before, after, and most importantly the day of our wedding is what set the tone for the most spectacular day of our lives! Jack, Kali, and Greg are one of a kind and truly are wonderful people who are great at what they do. My wife and I were nervous going into our wedding day because of family drama on both sides and also just the run of the mill wedding worries I'm sure every couple experiences. When we got to the venue and met with Jack, Kali, and Greg and began taking photos prior to the ceremony, they took complete control of the situation and put everyone at ease with their cool demeanors and overall relaxed, funny, chill, professional nature. The rest of the day was so perfect, and to have them there with us, I believe, was part of the magic that made the day so special for us. They provided great direction, came in with a clear plan, and executed it flawlessly. On top of that they are genuinely wonderful people. We highly recommend using JL Wedding Films for your wedding day! We were not originally planning to hire a videographer for our wedding, but we are so thankful we did! Jack was quick with communication and helped us put together a package that fit our budget. Our videographer worked well with our photographer, who was from a different company, the day of the wedding. We were so impressed by both the edited and raw video and love seeing the moments the video captured that photos alone may have missed.

We hired Jack for our wedding in June. We were looking for someone who would film our day, without 'getting in the way' as some videographers do, and provide a nice edited video for us to watch for years to come. Jack exceeded all expectations! During the day, he managed to capture all our moments, without any interruptions. We got our highlight video back this past week and let me say it could not have been more perfect. In a 6 minute video, Jack was able to showcase the best moments of our day from our first look, to the ceremony, first dance, cake cutting and more. He beautifully mapped together pieces from our loved ones speeches and used our first dance song as background music. His editing skills went above and beyond what we could have asked for. We also received a full length video that was longer than expected! I would recommend Jack to anyone.

Jack was the videographer at our wedding in March. He was friendly and so easy to work with. Jack and his team are affordable without sacrificing quality! We were so happy with our videos because he caught every special moment. He really blends into the party and captures unique moments. We were on the fence about hiring a videographer in general and we are SO happy that we decided to get one and even happier that we choose Jack. I found Jack through in a late night search for a videographer and it was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process! Communication was easy, Jack was quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. Jack and his team were so great to work with, from finalizing all of the details of what we wanted captured, to day of! They worked so well with our photographer, coming up with creative ideas of how to capture our day and acting as a second (and third) set of hands to help set things up, etc. Jack works with your budget, and I'd recommend him to any future brides looking for good, reasonably-priced videography

Jack was totally awesome! We used him through GeorgeStreet Photography. He arrived on time and had really creative ideas to capture both myself husband and bridal party. He blended in so well a few guests thought he was a guest also which was great because we didn’t want having a videographer taking away from the vibe or party. Both he and our photographers had a blast at our wedding they were amazing. The outcome of the video is something both my husband and I as well as family have enjoyed watching. He got such good footage we couldn’t be happier!

All I wanted was raw footage of the day. I did not want a trailer, although beautiful... I wanted unedited footage so I could relive the day. Jack was so easy to work with and he captured every single moment. I could not be happier with the video we received. The best part is he sent it to us quickly after the wedding. On the day of the wedding, I finalized a last minute burlesque dancer as a surprise to the wedding party and guests. Jack was awesome enough to stay the extra time for the performance, so we can have it on tape. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! My husband and I are so pleased that we decided to hire JL Productions to shoot our wedding. They were professional, easy to work with, affordable, and exceeded our expectations in every regard. Jack and his team integrated really well with our wedding photographer, and were able to get great footage. Their editing style is also very creative and unique, so it felt like we were watching a film rather than a wedding video. They were more than accommodating and patient with us, which we really appreciated. Ultimately Jack was just as concerned as we were with getting everything to be perfect as we were, which I take as a mark of quality.

We rarely leave mediocre or negative public reviews for anyone (and haven't for any other wedding vendor), but seeing only glowing reviews for JL Productions on this website, we thought it was fair that prospective customers see at least one honest, less-than-perfect experience. Perhaps our situation was just an anomaly. Jack is a good guy, will work with your budget, and is pretty responsive via email throughout most of the process. His prices were cheaper and packages more flexible than the other options we were considering, which is why we picked him. We ended up with a DVD that captured the memories we would want, and did a good job of getting most of our guests on film. However, the camera and editing work came across as amateurish in many spots (odd zooming and shaky panning during the ceremony, background colors fading in and out at random times, etc), and there were actually several obvious editing mistakes (high pitched buzzing sounds, and split seconds of scenes spliced in the wrong location a couple times). None of this ruined the video, but it showed a lack of attention to detail, and reminded me too much of home videos my parents would take on their camcorder 20 years ago. It seemed we were paying for his time and not any expertise in videography, as we have many friends who could have done the same level work. Additionally, the DVD was delivered a month late (only after repeated requests) and we were not given the highlight video promised in our contract. The contract said we would get a 10-15 minute highlight video. We can only assume the 3 minute youtube trailer we were sent took the place of this. We wouldn't know for sure, however, because Jack stopped responding to our messages after he received his final payment. It seems that most people had a positive experience, but overall we were disappointed with the final product, considering how expensive videography is for a wedding. We ended up wishing we had paid more for a more professional editing job, or saved the money and had a friend or amateur do a recording for us instead.

My husbands side of the family was very against getting video. They thought it was something that I didn't need. I KNEW it was something that I wanted. Jack worked with my budget to make sure I was happy. He was available thru email, phone, and text! He answered all of my crazy questions and communicated up until the day before my wedding. I LOVE MY VIDEO! And, the funny thing is I have caught my husband watching our highlight video numerous times. He is so happy we went with my wishes. Jack was excellent and so are his services. I couldn't be happier. I love my video. I will cherish it for the rest of my life. Jack, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We used JL Productions for our wedding. They were reasonably priced, very responsive via email and timely for the wedding. They stayed longer than we had originally planned which was fantastic. They were also very good at being involved getting great angles but being relatively invisible. We can't wait to get the video back.

We used JL Productions for my son's Bar Mitzvah on Feb. 9, 2013. Unfortunately that day there was a major snow storm in NY and we had to move the party to the next day. Jack was very accommodating and was able to change to the next day. The videos that he took were wonderful and really captured the fun and excitement of the celebration. I would definitely recommend him and will be using him for my other son's Bar Mitzvah in 3 years.

Jack Lambros was a pleasure to work with. He sis an excellent job capturing the most important parts of the wedding and the technical quality of the blue ray video he supplied was excellent. It takes a special skill to pull the most important parts of a wedding out of hours of raw video and Jack has that skill. He is an excellent value when it comes to video services.

Jack from JL Productions was amazing! We were very picky with how we wanted our wedding to be shot, and he followed all of our requests to the tee. We were even able to get a second cameraman at a price that was much more reasonable than any of the other places that we looked into. I feel like we really got a great deal for the price…our video was very professional. Would definitely recommend!
