It's been almost two years since the Catz played at our wedding celebration, and this review is LONG overdue. Today, we still have folks who attended the celebration talk about how incredible and talented the Catz were. From start until finish, there was non-stop energy and grooves to keep the feet moving. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band than The Chicago Catz! We chose the 11-piece band for our big day, and they absolutely blew us away. Of all our vendors, the band received the most compliments from our guests—everyone was raving about how amazing they were. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they also went above and beyond with every detail we requested. A great example of their thoughtfulness was when Richie, the band leader, took the time on our final call to ask about the pronunciation of my maid of honor’s last name, ensuring the announcement during her speech was perfect. It’s small, thoughtful touches like that which really made them stand out. The Chicago Catz truly helped make our day unforgettable, and we couldn’t recommend them more!

The Chicago Catz made our wedding the absolute BEST NIGHT of our lives. They are unbelievably talented, kind, energetic, great to work with, and created an evening SO fun and memorable that we've been hearing about how great it was for weeks. I knew I wanted to have a really lively dance floor and the Catz DELIVERED. Every generation was out there, banger after banger. I am so grateful for all their time and help with planning the ceremony music, cocktail hour, and of course the reception. Chicago Catz did my daughters wedding at the union league last April. When I left at midnight the manager of the club was at the ballroom door and said virtually no one had left because everyone was dancing they were terrific and everyone commented how much they danced the entire night A really really great band

The Chicago Catz will bring your wedding to a whole new level! Before we were engaged, my husband and I saw the Catz at a wedding in downtown Chicago. When we left, we knew we had to hire them if we ever got married. A year later, the Catz were one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding. Richie was amazing to work with and was super relaxed throughout the planning process, which was so nice. I was a very detailed bride, but when it came to planning the music, I knew I could sit back, relax, and let the Catz do their thing. This band did not stop playing all night! The Chicago Catz are absolutely INCREDIBLE!! When we got engaged we had just attended a wedding where the Catz had played so we knew we had to have them at ours. We had a trio play for our ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by the full band for the reception. Richie was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding - he had great recommendations for things like first dance timelines, how to wrap up the end of the night, etc., did a great job facilitating speeches during the reception, and was helpful with coordinating last minute details during the final walk through at the venue. The whole Catz ensemble was beyond impressive - we had a jam packed dance floor all night long! The Catz have a great, high energy set list and also accommodated learning the handful of songs that were important to us to hear on our big day. Our friends and family have been raving about the Catz since wedding day - several of our newly engaged friends have since reached out to book the Catz themselves! We couldn't be more grateful and would book the Catz a million times over! Thank you!!!

The Chicago Catz band rocked our daughter's wedding until 1:00am!!! Our daughter's wedding was on New Year's Eve and boy did everyone have a blast! We booked the band based on reviews and our venue suggested them. We were overwhelmed with their professionalism, level of talent (one singer placed on The Voice), personal touches and the dance floor was always crowded! They do not use tracks and they customized some songs for the couple - I can't say enough positive things about how Richie handles his band and customers!! Highly recommend!A+++ Note: In the details they ask price we paid, but they don't ask how many band members. So, we paid $14,000 for a 14 piece band which was TOTALLY worth it!!! It was like being at a live concert - their music is beyond fabulous!!

If you are reading this, you have found the perfect wedding band- book the Chicago Catz immediately. My husband and I booked the Chicago Catz for our wedding on 10/15/22 at the Sculpture Garden at the Bridgeport Art Center and we are SO happy we did. The Chicago Catz made our reception a PARTY. We’ve had so many guests still telling us how incredible the band was and what a blast our dance floor was. They played the most perfect range of music- from our modern requests like Beyonce’s most recent single “Break My Soul” and Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” to dance floor classics. They are incredibly talented and the sign-off they did to close the night made it feel like we were at a concert. We had about 12 pieces and I would highly recommend going for it. This group was dynamic, energetic and truly so incredible to watch perform. Richie was SO easy to work with the entire time leading up to our wedding and incredibly responsive and helpful as we made decisions. We ALSO used a guitar trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour through the Chicago Catz. Gabriel and his bandmates were incredible. Perfectly performing our requested ceremony music and creating the most ambiance setting for our cocktail hour. We’ve had multiple guests also mention how this trio just set the tone for the whole evening with magic. I can’t recommend the Chicago Catz enough, book them for your wedding ASAP! We saw the Catz wayyyy before we ever got engaged and instantly fell in love with their energy and charm! All our guests told us that the Catz were the BEST wedding band they had ever seen - we had most people on the dance floor until their very last song. Chicago Catz is the most amazing band. I saw them first perform at my cousin's wedding about 8 years ago. Then, when I got engaged and was planning my own wedding about 5-6 years after that, I just HAD to have them perform at ours. And they were available! They were so, so, so good. When people talk about our wedding they always bring up how great the band was. They were so much fun, played an amazing playlist with lots of new hits, and were super engaged with the crowd. Working with the organizer of the band leading up to the wedding, in the midst of the pandemic, was also a very pleasant experience. He was extremely professional and great to deal with. I would recommend them to any and all looking for a great band for a wedding or party. They are the BEST!!

The Chicago Catz are the best wedding band EVER. I have now used the Catz for both my daughters' weddings and they were absolutely amazing. I had many, many guests comment about how great they were and they had never head such a wonderful band. They are an incredible group of individual musicians who are even better together. They are soulful, joyful, and a pleasure to listen to. Besides their ability to play, they have an innate and experienced sense of what the crowd wants to hear. We wanted a band that got people to dance and that's exactly what happened. It was a pleasure working with them from the original booking through making plans (they provided some wonderful ideas) all the way through to playing at the wedding. I recommend them wholeheartedly and hope to have another reason for us to hire them for another party. In my mind, there is no reason to even look at other bands. I enjoy them so much, I would happily go listen to them at a venue just to hear them play.

They are so talented and knew exactly how to get the party started - and keep it going until the last song! Behind the scenes the band was equally as great to work with. Richie was so responsive and took the time to understand our priorities and answer any questions. What makes a great wedding party? First is a great band, second is an open bar. The Chicago Catz are the best! They had all our guests up and dancing before dinner; creating a super fun vibe that lasted the entire night. The dance floor did not stop all night. Furthermore, Richie was awesome to deal with and went out of his way to make things as easy as possible for us. Between figuring out the microphones for the ceremony and scheduling the brand break, he could not have been for flexible and helpful throughout this process. You truly made all my dreams come true as a bride. It's funny- I saw you guys at a fundraiser when I was 22. I danced the entire night, and I had an absolute blast. After the show, I asked for your card, and I said, "I am not dating the right guy right now, but one day you will play at my wedding." Fast forward about seven years later, and I went to my best friend's wedding. It all started coming back to me! This was the band I was obsessed with! So again, I got their info and ten years from when I first saw them, they played at my wedding. And not only did they play. They brought the house down. Someone asked me my favorite part of the night. I can honestly say when dinner ended, and the band began and everybody, I mean everybody stormed the dance floor and started dancing- night made. I didn't leave the dance floor all night, and everybody kept texting me and asking me who the band was. They said it was the best band they had ever heard.
