I had a great trial with Paige and Leah, and Leah was so flexible with my change in style from my trial to the wedding day. I am so grateful for their expertise, knowledge, patience, and kindness on my wedding day!

I used Allison Barbera beauty for makeup services for my wedding recently and am so happy I did! Allison herself was extremely helpful and an excellent communicator during the whole planning process. She was so organized and professional! Our makeup was done by Emma who was so sweet and talented. Allison Barbera Beauty was the first vendor I booked after seeing what an amazing job they did for my best friend's wedding 5 years ago. I am SO thrilled I was able to work with Allison and her team during our wedding planning process. Allison was hands down the MOST communicative, responsive and organized vendor I worked with. She made everything so easy for me and provided a lot of helpful information along the way. Paige was my incredible makeup artist and felt like a friend at the end of the process. She did such an amazing job and I would recommend her to anyone. I loved how she made my natural, glowy makeup dreams a reality. Leah was my lovely hair stylist and made my boho vision come to life. She was so easy to talk to and fun to be with at both my trail and on my wedding day. She is such an expert and I loved working with her. Ellie and Nicole were our other hair and makeup artists for the bridesmaids and all my girls said they felt so beautiful thanks to them!

Lauren and Emma did my hair and makeup respectively - they were incredible. Before the day, it was such a joy to work with Allison. She was always proactively communicative, prompt in her replies and so clear in setting timing expectations and scheduling. She made our hair and make up schedule work seamlessly - even though I had to add someone last minute - and she answered any questions my wedding party and I had - even the most detailed ones. Both she and my makeup artist, Emma, did an incredible job of integrating my thoughts from my trial into our plan for the day of. On the day of, both Emma and Lauren were fabulous - they made me and my wedding party feel so special, seen, beautiful and at ease. They provided professional suggestions while also easily taking into account our preferences and visions. Everyone looked stunning and natural - and the makeup lasted all night long.

Allison Barbera Beauty was a great company to work with for our wedding makeup services. Jen was our artist, and did an amazing job with all of the girls' makeup. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. It was the best feeling in the world when I looked into the mirror and felt confident in how natural and beautiful my makeup was. It lasted all day long and looked flawless in the pictures. Jen was so easy going, fun to chat with, and really just blended into the bridal party that day like a friend. Our florist even complimented everyone's makeup, saying that he's seen so many brides who can't move their faces because of the caked-on products, and loved how natural everyone in the party looked. Allison was very easy to communicate with throughout the process, and Jen was just the perfect artist for our day. I can't recommend the company and Jen enough!

So glad I went with Allison Barbera and her team! Allison was so quick to respond, organized, efficient and kept everything on track and timely from the first email to the day of the wedding (which I’m so grateful for!). Keri did all of the girls hair, including myself and my mom, and Jen did our makeup. They were both so kind, patient and absolutely nailed the look I was going for - all of my bridesmaids and mom looked so beautiful and were beyond happy with how everything turned out. I joke that the most fun part of the day is in the morning getting ready with everyone, but it truly was a highlight of the day for me, and Jen and Keri contributed hugely to that.

I first experienced ABB at my friends wedding that I was in and Allison's team did such a great job that I knew I wanted to book ABB for my own wedding this past August. Kerri and Emma did our hair and make up and everyone looked & felt beautiful! They were both prompt and listened to everyones asks. I can't thank the ABB enough - I received so many compliments on my hair & make up.

I cannot recommend ABB enough. Allison is quick to respond and very straightforward with her answers. I was so caught up in planning I forgot to reach out to do a trial, and she took it upon herself to reach out and remind me, asking if I would like one. During the trial, Emma (makeup) and Lauren (hair) were so incredibly nice and responsive to any changes I wanted to make. For day of, I am speechless. I rested easy knowing the team would be prompt and professional. I was blown away with the quality of service from Emma, Lauren, Liz and LuWayne. My hair on my wedding day was so incredibly beautiful, and my makeup was glowing and just perfect. I had the wedding party use babys breath in their hair and it was added without a hitch. The week before my wedding, I got my flu shot, and my arm immediately bruised up. I was so worried about the purple golfball sized bruise for my wedding day, but upon showing Emma, she immediately began color correcting and working other MUA magic to make it disappear. I am so grateful for this team!! They are truly professional and fantastic.

I cannot recommend Allison Barbera Beauty enough! Paige, from Allison's group, did the make up for our whole bridal party and she was fantastic. I had a trial previously where I brought inspo and she helped bring it to life that worked best for my skin tone and put me as ease as someone who isn't really a makeup person typically. On the day, Paige made everyone feel like the best version of themselves and was fun to have in the room while getting ready.

Allison's team did hair and makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and my sister-in-law for my September 2022 wedding. We were lucky enough to have booked some pretty incredible vendors, and Allison was probably still the most communicative, responsive, and organized among them. Katie + Paige did our makeup services, and Kerri + LuWayne did our hair. Everyone was punctual, friendly, and made our getting-ready timeline very efficient. Katie and Kerri did my makeup and hair. I did 1 makeup trial with Katie which she nailed and then recreated on my wedding day, and I did 2 hair trials with Kerri only because I kept changing my mind on what I wanted to do. Katie and Kerri both took notes on the feedback given from my trials and did an incredible job giving me exactly what I wanted on the big day. My bridesmaids/mom/SIL all looked amazing and were very happy with their services. My mom is extremely particular with her hair and doesn't wear a lot of makeup usually, so this is high praise from her especially. If there's one thing I learned from wedding planning it's to book vendors who not only do great work, but who are also responsive, organized, and make you feel like they will have everything under control on your wedding day. Allison Barbera Beauty checked all those boxes and delivered on every expectation!

I worked with Katie and Leah from Allison Barbera Beauty for my August wedding and they did fantastic work! Our hair and makeup looked incredible and held up well during the hot and humid day. Although I never met Allison in person, she was great to work with and extremely responsive. She made the bridal trial/day of coordination very easy. It was top quality service and I would highly recommend working with them for your wedding!

I used Allison Barbera beauty for my August 2022 wedding. Leah was my stylist for both hair and makeup. I had previously had a hair and makeup trial with another company (not Allison Barbera) with a less than wonderful experience. Allison’s team of professionals do an outstanding job to make you look and feel your best! All communication with Allison (and with Leah) were professional, organized, straightforward and most of all kind. Both ladies worked hard to put my mind at ease and I couldn’t have been happier with my wedding day look.

I used Allison Barbera Beauty for my wedding day on July 23rd, 2022. We were very happy with our services. There was a minor snafu where we were supposed to get airbrush makeup but it wasn't scheduled, but we were fine without it and were not charged for it. All of my bridesmaids liked their hair and makeup and Kristin and Leah were very friendly and made the day enjoyable and easy.

I would strongly encourage Allison and her team to any soon-to-be bride. In advance of the wedding, Allison was fabulous with communication and made sure to provide resources for myself/bridesmaids on preparation and ideas for hair and makeup. With so much else to plan for, it was a dream to have her on top of details. Emma did our make-up and Lauren did our hair, and I couldn't be more impressed with them both. They were super receptive to feedback and concerns, and did the most amazing job of translating my trial and day-of ideas into exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. They fit in perfectly with our getting ready atmosphere too - which is a lovely addition.

Allison’s team was great to work with! It was easy to schedule trials, and I felt like the whole team was invested in making my bridesmaids and me feel beautiful. Allison is incredibly friendly and responsive, and her team of hair and makeup artists were skilled, very easy to work with, personable, and super punctual and organized. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would absolutely recommend ABB to other brides! Leah did my hair, Kristin did my makeup, and Paige and LuWayne worked on my bridesmaids!

Emma and Shaina were the best makeup artists for my wedding! Most of us were looking for a very natural look and they did an amazing job at making us feel like a more gorgeous version of ourselves. And the girls who wanted more glam got just what they wanted. We all received so many compliments throughout the night! Allison was so easy to communicate with. She is very organized and responds to all questions promptly.

Leah & Paige were absolutely delightful to work with and set the tone (fun & relaxed) for the rest of the day! They arrived on time, made sure to check in with each of us on our vision for our hair & makeup, were low-maintenance, and did a great job with everyone in our group. I was particularly impressed with their hair & makeup for my stepmom. She had selected some very traditional "Mother of the Bride" images as her hair & makeup inspiration (nothing wrong with that!) but Leah & Paige did a great job making her look age-appropriate, modern, and stunning. Allison was also SUPER buttoned up through the entire process and made the booking, planning, and day of a breeze. Really helpful for someone like me who knows nothing about hair and makeup! Highly recommend ABB if you're looking for an elevated and natural look for your wedding day!

When I got engaged, I already knew the first vendor I would book was Allison Barbera Beauty after working with them for my best friends wedding. Besides being a cool person, Allison is the utmost professional. I don't think I ever waited more than a few hours for an email response from her. She was super flexible when we had to reschedule during the pandemic and also when I had to add additional services. I could not have been happier with my look on my wedding day, and I wasn't even able to do a hair and makeup trial prior to my wedding! We had Kerri for hair and Katie for makeup and everyone in my bridal party were genuinely thrilled with their looks. The entire AB Beauty team is a 10/10!

Allison and her team were amazing to work with. Leading up to the wedding, Allison was easily the most responsive and organized vendor that I had, accommodating many schedule changes, some of which were last minute. The day of the wedding, the team of Kerri, Paige, Leah and Candie were incredible. I had a very large bridal party of 11 bridesmaids, as well as my mother and mother-in-law who got hair/makeup, and the team was so accommodating and efficient. They made sure everyone was satisfied with their final look. Kerri and Paige in particular went above and beyond. Kerri re-did my mom's hair completely after she had finished, and she was so gracious and kind about it. After finishing the ladies' hair and makeup, Paige went to my where my now husband was getting ready in order to give him a little makeup too, since he had an allergic reaction to something the day of the wedding! As far as my bridal hair and makeup, I am still blown away. My hair was the stuff of wedding dreams - Kerri far surpassed my expectations. For my makeup, Paige took every single suggestion and concern that I brought up during my makeup trial and incorporated them to to a T. The makeup was natural while still making me look like I was a bride on my wedding day! And my bridesmaids had wonderful things to say about Leah and Candie as well. As someone who does not typically wear makeup or do anything fancy with my hair, I was nervous that I wouldn't look like "myself" the day of my wedding. The team at Allison Barbera Beauty is incredibly skilled at elevating your look in such a natural and beautiful way. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Allison was great to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Our original 2020 wedding was postponed and she was very flexible about rescheduling to 08/14/2021. On the wedding day, she and her team were very punctual and did an amazing job! My makeup looked glam, but natural, which is exactly the look I was going for. Out of all of the vendors that I worked with, Allison was the most responsive and organized. I am so glad that I picked her for my wedding hair and makeup and would absolutely recommend her!

I cannot recommend Allison Barbera Beauty enough. I worked with Jen for my trial, and Jen was my main make-up artist with Paige as the 2nd for my big day. Not only were both incredibly friendly, but super professional, and got the look I was going for perfectly! They were extremely accommodating. Their looks were classy, fresh, and I was in love with the way my make-up turned out. Pictures for reference- you won't be disappointed!

Allison and her team are very professional! Allison is not only talented at doing makeup, but she also really knows the science behind skincare and makeup. She had great suggestions for beauty routines and how to prepare for the big day. I wanted a very natural makeup look, but elevated from my everyday look. She totally understood what I wanted. I didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day and loved how it came out! The products she used lasted all day. Plus she gave me oil blotting sheets that I used throughout the day. She also uses individual lashes instead of the strip, so it looked very natural. My bridesmaids all looked so beautiful, as well. Plus, she's really nice and easy to talk to! I can't recommend Allison and her team enough.

Allison and her team were just AMAZING! We originally planned our wedding for August 2020, but had to reschedule to June 2021. I also originally only booked my makeup, and added hair closer to the wedding date, and Allison worked with me to make it happen. Allison was so accommodating at every turn. I had a wonderful experience working with Allison and her team for my wedding in November 2020 and I'm incredibly grateful that I chose AB Beauty for my wedding hair and makeup. From the beginning, Allison was super responsive, very organized, and professional. She sent me a detailed schedule for the day-of along with guidance on preparing for my hair and makeup beginning several months out. When I had to adjust my wedding plans due to COVID-19, Allison was accommodating and flexible. During the trial, Allison (makeup) and Kerri (hair) truly listened to my vision and brought it to life. This was the first time that I can remember LOVING my hair and makeup when they are done professionally. On my wedding day, my mom and I were so happy with their work. I absolutely loved my wedding hair and make-up thanks to Allison and her team (special thanks to Allison and Emily for my personal hair and makeup!). I don't wear a lot of make-up usually and Allison made sure that I felt completely like myself but much more glamorous! Emily styled my hair exactly how I imagined. I've never felt more beautiful! Allison and her team were absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them. I ended up changing both my hair and makeup day of and they were both so flexible and didn’t push back at all. I loved how everything came out for both myself, my bridesmaids, mom and mother in-law. I was worried prior to the trial and wedding because I don’t usually wear much makeup and still wanted to look like myself. Allison did not disappoint. My makeup stayed on all night and my hair stayed in and both looked amazing in pictures. I cannot thank Allison and her team enough, I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Allison was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding and I cannot sing her praises high enough. She was one of the most responsive, timely and organized vendors I worked with. She made everything seamless running up to the wedding and on the wedding day. My bridesmaids, my Mom, my Grandmother and I have never looked more beautiful. Her team was awesome, accommodating, listened so well and executed everyone’s looks flawlessly, even my 88 year old Grandmother who is one touch customer! If you have not booked beauty for your wedding day, run don’t walk and book Allison, she and her team are amazing and it will be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding.

Allison is a true and talented professional. She is thorough, clear, and the best communicator. She provided updates to the day-of schedules she drafted so quickly - even for the ten times I asked for a change. She is extremely talented and very good at understanding what I and my bridal party did and didn't want with their hair and makeup. Trials with Allison and Emily were SO fun (I talked about them for the next month as if we'd been BFFs for years), and the wedding day was even better! Allison, Emily, Katie, and Kerri were beyond wonderful to work with - even when the plugs went out for the blowdryer for a hot few minutes!  I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding hair or makeup and can't thank Allison and her crew enough for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Without a doubt the best makeup and hair stylists in the area!!! Book them you will not regret it! I booked them for myself, my mother and 11 bridesmaids. They did an amazing job with making everyone look very glamorous, and spent their time on each person. Nobody was in a rush (and even if they were you couldn't tell). The girls were very professional and nice and the hair/makeup lasted all night! We are beyond happy with our choice!!!

Allison and her team made our day! Allison herself is by far the most organized vendor we worked with and really kept things moving along (totally appreciated!!) with the planning process. She has a team of complete professionals who my bridesmaids and I enjoyed spending our morning getting ready with. As a hairstylist who has envisioned what my hair would look like for my 7 year engagement , finding the right stylist was high on my priority list . When I knew I found them I was even more pleasantly impressed that they worked for Allison Barbera Beauty. Her team went above and beyond for us and made each and every one in the bridal party feel gorgeous! My hair extensions would NOT cooperate that day and Emily was able to keep me calm pull out exactly what i wanted! I felt like a princess and my hair was perfection! On top of us all looking and feeling stunning Emily and Liza were super fun to work with , made the day that much more special and relaxed ‘ ! Allison also is so organized and makes you know every step of the way what will happen and how to make it easier Hands down the best Hopefully I will work with them again or even for !!!!!

Allison Barbera Beauty is a very professional, organized and amazing hair and make-up team, whom I hired for our wedding on October 6, 2018 in Newport, RI. Allison was quick to respond to my inquiry of availability and pricing. Not only was she quick to reply, she was extremely organized with her color coded day of wedding schedule which made the day of the wedding run very smoothly. On the day of the wedding, Jen S., Ana, Ainslie, and Jen G. all showed up ahead of schedule which was fantastic! They were able to do hair and make-up for my six bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, grandmother of the groom and myself all within a timely manner. Everyone looked fantastic and loved their hairstyles and make-up! Jen S. did my airbrush make-up and Ana did my hair, both of which came out phenomenal and just what I had pictured for my wedding day. I’m extremely happy that I hired Allison Barbera Beauty and I would highly recommend them!

Allison and Co. are awesome! Allison was probably the most organized and quickest responding vendor we worked with during our wedding planning process. I've had my makeup done many times and Jen was by far my favorite makeup artist! Hairstylists Ann and Emily were great, everyone looked awesome!

Allison and her team were amazing. Allison was excellent to coordinate with, and she was very understanding when I asked to make schedule changes. My entire bridal party had an excellent experience and felt beautiful when they were finished. The entire group finished early on the day of the wedding, which was an added bonus! Ann did my hair and it stayed put for the entire night despite getting married in a nor'easter- so incredible! I'm very grateful to Allison and her team- I would highly recommend!!

My experience with Allison and her team for our wedding on August 4, 2018 could not have been better! From the first contact all the way through the end of our "getting ready" hours, Allison was amazing to work with. She and her team are professional, knowledgeable, responsive, understanding, fun to be around...the list goes on. She and her team are excellent at understanding what you are describing, and making your vision a reality. They are also super receptive to feedback and are happy to make adjustments on hair and makeup, and don't make you feel uncomfortable about asking to change something. I ended up having two hair trials, but by the end of the second one my hair was EXACTLY what I wanted it to be, and Alex was able to recreate it perfectly on the wedding day. Allison's prices are competitive, and in my opinion you get excellent value for the money. Allison also creates a schedule for your wedding day, ensuring that each bridesmaid/MOB/MOG etc has a specific slot for hair and for makeup so that you run on schedule. This is a huge bonus and keeps the getting ready phase of the day fun and stress-free. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup, as did my mom and mother in law. I was SO happy with how I looked - I have since gotten my wedding photos back and I am still drooling over how good my hair came out! Here's an extra bonus, and honestly why working with Allison was life-changing: for the last 15 or so years of my life, I have had these tiny, under the skin bumps on my forehead (and of course I was super self-conscious about it). I had been to several dermatologists, tried different routines and medications, etc., but nothing helped. Then I went to my makeup trial with Allison...I asked her advice for how I should care for my skin pre-wedding, and if she thought anything could be done for the bumps. She did a little research, and then a few days later she sent me some articles on what she thought it could be - and she also recommended products and a routine that I should follow. After a few months - and in time for the wedding - the bumps were GONE! I have been following the routine ever since and they have not come back. So, not only did I have an excellent experience for the wedding itself - Allison's amazing skills and knowledge helped me overcome a persistent skin issue, which has made me so much more confident in how I look. I am so happy to have worked with Allison and her team - I cannot recommend them highly enough. She is worth every cent!!

Oh where do I even begin with my love affair for Allison Barbera and her amazing stylists!?! From the moment I sent my first email it was incredible! Always prompt same day response! From the moment I did my hair trial I knew as I walked out that I would be booking with them! Leading up to the wedding I had a 1000 questions that seemed to pop up daily. Allison always made time for me and was always so kind. Day of the wedding all the stylists were prompt and on way ahead of time. And they cranked out all 10 girls in no time. Also all 10 girls were BEYOND thrilled at their hair and makeup! ESP my niece who was my jr bridesmaid. She showed Emily a more intricate hairstyle. Emily didn’t even flinch and made her dream come true. She couldn’t stop showing everyone her hairstyle all night at the wedding. Everyone’s hair and makeup stayed perfect through the monsoon that happened last Saturday in Newport! And through dancing all night! I will recommend you guys to anyone and everyone I know! And as soon as I get pictures I promise to share them! But thank you for making me feel SO beautiful on my wedding day!
