Jenny was one of my favorite vendors to work with during my wedding weekend. She really listened to my thoughts about what I wanted for my three hair and makeup looks and executed them FLAWLESSLY! I loved how she would brainstorm with me on what each look could be, all while making sure I still looked natural and like myself, which was a huge priority for me. I knew I made the right decision in choosing Jenny for my wedding when I saw her for my bridal trial. I love doing my own makeup and am used to wearing false lashes and full face of makeup on a regular basis. I'm very picky about how other makeup artists have done my makeup in the past. I conveyed to Jenny my looks and she got it right away, within just a few minutes of explanation and sending her pictures. I actually didn't even really see my look throughout the entire process, which made me nervous but I realized that I didn't need to because when she turned me around for the final reveal, I was BLOWN AWAY. I didn't even have a critique because she made everything look perfect. I walked into my wedding with confidence in her abilities after that. Again, for the wedding I got endless compliments about my looks. For my wedding week I again didn't even look at what Jenny was doing or nervous about it at all, because in the end, every look was stunning. I felt so confident and beautiful for my wedding weekend. Her and her team are incredible to work with, very professional and sweet. Her assistant glammed my mom as well, who is equally picky if not more, and my mom was in SHOCK, she looked absolutely beautiful. Wish she could do my makeup/hair everyday!!

Jenny is more than a makeup and hair expert, she is a professional artist! Jenny personally completed the makeup and hair for me and my mother for three of my Indian wedding events in Austin, TX. From my bright and bold Sangeet look, to my princess glam wedding and old Hollywood reception vibes—she was able to perfectly capture the vision I had in my head for the last 3 years of planning. When we had to reschedule due the pandemic, she was extremely understanding. Jenny is extremely talented at her job and is such a professional to work with. She made me feel like a movie star. Waking up for early Indian wedding start times is not easy but Jenny was so professional. Even when I was half asleep at three in the morning, she took such care to make me feel relaxed and even put a calming Spotify playlist to help me get a little shut eye while she worked her amazing magic. Although I spent a lot of time in hair and makeup through the day, Jenny’s level of detail when it comes to making her brides vision come true and delivering such a high level of service is truly unmatched. Jenny Torry is so talented at her job. She and her team completed the makeup for me, my sister and my mother for three of my events – and our photos turned out wonderfully! The last time I got make up done was for my own wedding, and now for my daughters wedding, I was so scared since I hardly put on any make up but Jenny and her team made me feel so comfortable. They are so hardworking and till you are truly satisfied they won’t stop. Her make up kit has all the top notch products including her own products which were sooo good, we loved her JTorry eyelashes a lot! Because of the pandemic sanitization is more important than ever before, Jenny and her team took the extra time to sanitize all the brushes and make up. We were so happy with all the precautions being taken. We love her and her whole team she took care of even the tiniest details for all of us!

I booked her without a trial and did a FaceTime consult days before the wedding. There were a lot of things I was worried about before the wedding. I have known Jenny for several few years now, seeing her grow as a Makeup artist and eventually launching her own makeup line as well as beauty school, I always knew whenever it was my turn for my big day it was gonna be Jenny doing my makeover. I follow several DFW MUAs and even MUAs in diff state/country but the amount of work Jenny puts in each and every client, the knowledge she has and the way she delivers a bride’s wish is absolutely phenomenal. Yessss, all the “GODDESSSS” comments on his work on instagram posts are all me and will always be me! My Nikah was planned and dated super last minute, I had told my in laws ahead of time that whenever my MUA is available is when I’ll do the Nikah and they happily complied with my request lol! I started my Nikah planning by reaching out to Jenny first thing to see when she’d be available. Even during COVID this girl was fully booked!!! THIS is when you know she’s the best in the industry. Regardless, she tried and managed to squeeze me in for a whole bridal look including dupatta/tikka setting. As you sign the contract she sends out a green COVID-waiver form which was super impressive and well put out! On the day of as soon as I got there, she wanted to know what my vision was as a bride and I pretty much went in clueless/not bothered because I knew Jenny would know what would look best on me than me telling her what I’d like. And that’s exactly what I replied to her! She gave me a beautiful Nikah look that made me truly feel like a bride, honestly until I went to her studio it didn’t hit me that I was getting married in 4 hours! She did a beautiful gold cut crease with her lashes “lil boots”. Blush and highlighter was also by her makeup line JTorrybeauty. The best cut crease was made again from her makeup line’s “confidence” palette. To finish it up, she did red lips by Mac. I hear a lot of people say how makeup artists are so expensive. It is YOUR big day! Comes only once in a lifetime, you dont wanna have ANY doubt on how you’d look and ruin your wedding photography which can also be quite expensive. Pay your artist generously, they’re spending a chunk of their day to make YOUR day memorable and prettiest ever. Pay them for their knowledge, skills and expertise. Next time please do not bargain or try to negotiate with them when shopping around for MUAs, you’re not at a meat market in South Asia. It’s been a week since my Nikah and I’m still getting bombarded by msgs from not only my family and friends but also strangers about how perfect my look was! I was in loveeeeee! I couldn’t believe it that I can look this beautiful too! I’m the biggest OCD person anyone can ever come across and getting my makeup and hair done from Jenny was one of those very few moments in life when I was truly 100% happy, satisfied and perfect.

I have to take this moment to just rave about Jenny Torrey. She is the absolute best for hair and makeup! First, she was so accommodating for my wedding weekend and kept up with my tight schedule of things. I also have a very tight work schedule and she was so accommodating for my trial as well! She was willing to meet me super early one morning before work. Secondly, she really can get any look you want for all your events. For my Sangeet (night before event), I wanted a fun/sparkle look and she achieved that. For my wedding day, I wanted a more natural look but still with a "pop" and it turned out PERFECT! Thirdly, she is so fun to work with! I feel we really bonded over things in all our meetings and I felt so comfortable putting all my trust in her for my wedding weekend. She made me feel so beautiful and the most perfect bride I could be. She's very passionate about what she does and will make sure you have the look you want! Her team is also great to work with! They came bright and early on wedding day and got all my girls ready - and they all looked amazing! Also, her hair extensions are a must! They feel so real and are thick to hold any up do or hair style you want. I appreciate Jenny for all of her hard work and so thankful for everything she did!

Choosing Jenny to be my hair and makeup artist for my wedding was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. It was an easy choice! Starting from the bridal trial to the actually events, it was a breeze. She took her time, she listened to my wants and requests, and she also envisioned styles for me that I would never had chosen. She has a gift and she is wonderful at using it! She was my artists for my 3 large events and each event was special in its own way. I never felt like I had too much makeup on and even though I wore it for 12-15 hours for ceremonies and photo-shoots, I wasn't eager to take it off. It felt so comfortable! The best part is that she is aware of south-asian bridal needs and she helps with each thing. She set my dupatta and tikka and she was knowledgeable about the process. Jenny also has a very caring heart and makes sure that the bride is ready for her big day. She takes her time and puts her time and effort as well as adds special touches to each look. I don't have any regrets and I am sure I will use her again soon in the future.

She was amazing to have for my wedding and the best part was, I legitimately had no worries about how I looked on my wedding day (which no bride has ever said before)! If you want to look your best, without looking like you have layers of make up on, Jenny knows how to do it!! When I was looking for make up artist for my big day, I had a picture in my head of what I wanted to look like for my big day. I wasn't sure how to begin looking, but I searched on instagram and the Knot for suggestions. I started following some artists and I wasn't feeling them. Some were too light on make up, others were over the top...until I happened to stumble upon Jenny's instagram page. THERE it was! What I was looking for! I told my fiance, "she is it!" I felt it was a slow start trying to get a hold of her, but once I did she reached out and asked me some questions. Pricing, I was a little taken back but I trusted that what I was paying was going to be worth it. Also, i had to convince my wedding party to get their make up done in order to be able to do her bridal package. Which Im glad they all did it, because the day of my bridesmaids look soo beautiful. Jenny is so nice, and will go out of her way to help you and make you feel comfortable. For my bridal portraits, she opened her home studio for me at 5am... who does that?! But I needed to get my make up and hair done in order to get to my portrait photo shoot in time. Once you get to talk to her she is pretty easy to talk to and will make you feel like her friend. She is not only professional, but will let you catch a glimpse into her own life as well with her little girl Milan, who is a diva! Thanks to Jenny, my hair and make up came out amazing! She works fast! For my bridal portrait, I was surprised how fast and painless she did my up do, and it didn't even hurt! (you know how some people will pull on your hair?!) For my big day, again her and her team were great! They were able to come to MY home and set up their equipment, they were well prepared with chairs and small tables to set up. My mother also looked soo beautiful and she got so many compliments on her classy make up and hair do. She looked so elegant. Jenny will make you feel beautiful, sexy, and classy all in one! There is no way she will disappoint. I would definitely use her or her team if i needed a make up session for anything.

I found Jenny just by searching on Google. I was specifically looking for someone who has experience in doing makeup for Asian people like me and then she showed up on my search. I'm so glad it did!! I was planning to do trial makeup first but due to lack of time and also because of my allergies, I had to pass. It seemed like she had appointments booked for that day but she made sure she'll be able to accommodate me even if it's too early in the morning. Even without the trial, Jenny did an excellent job on my hair and makeup. She asked for pictures of what I wanted and pictures of how I did my makeup before. I’ve had my personal hair stylist for a decade just because I’m real picky. My hair stylist wasn’t available luckily last minute I was squeezed in with my sister in laws (who was the bride) with jtorry and team. I had a picture of the makeup and hair I envisioned. Ladies they did exactly what I wanted. He went far above my expectations and were very precise, took their time. Remember I’m very picky I didn’t even have to tell them to fix anything. I think JTorry is hands down the best MUA in Dallas. She did a phenomenal job on my hair and make-up for my wedding. I wanted to feel comfortable with who I picked as my MUA on my wedding day especially because I am not from Dallas, TX and just recently moved here. Not only did JTorry make me feel so special, she achieved everything I asked her to do. I wanted a soft bridal glam and she gave me just that! I felt so comfortable with her work that I booked her 13 months before my wedding. She books up quickly, so book her ASAP!

Of all the moving parts involved in a wedding, the one thing I knew with confidence was that I would look my absolute best with Jenny and her team behind me (the bride), the bride and grooms' moms, and 8 bridesmaids. Jenny is a constant professional but put me completely at ease during my engagement hair and makeup session, wedding day trial, and certainly on my wedding day. Getting 11 ladies hair and makeup flawless (and lasting 12+ hours through a ceremony and constant dancing at the reception) is no easy task; but they made it seem like it was. Jenny nailed the exact bridal look I wanted, and I am so grateful for her. Book her early and don't look back!

Jenny did an amazing job for my hair and make-up for my big fat indian wedding that was comprised of five different looks. She made me feel at ease throughout the whole process and paid attention to every detail. My favorite thing about Jenny was that she listed to what I imagined each look to look like and made it come to life - my vision became her vision which is reflected with perfection. Jenny is an artist! I had no idea what I wanted my makeup or hair to look like for my wedding events. I let her be as creative as she wanted and I absolutely loved the outcome. I felt beautiful for each and every event. I felt like a bride. My hair wasn't overdone but lasted all night and even with the makeup on, I still looked like myself. J. Torry did hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party, and we were SO happy with their work! Jenny is so sweet and really knows what she's doing. She's a got a good team, and they were very efficient even with my 9 bridesmaids, mom, and myself (we started very early in the morning!).
