Working with Philly Custom DJ was a blast. I wanted to give a special shout out to Adam in particular. He went above an beyond to make our wedding day special. He's incredibly responsive, provided extremely helpful recommendation, and brought so much energy to our actual wedding day. Please do yourself a favor and hire this man!

Adam went above and beyond what we expected in a DJ. We met at least 4 times over the course of the process to fine tune all of the wedding logistics and iron out key songs that would play over the course of the wedding. He was a partner throughout the process and helped us stay on track and on schedule. We had a number of songs earmarked for the wedding, and he helped us organize them into specific playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, filling in the gaps in between. Most notably, when we had a number of potential father-daughter dance song selections to choose from, he made it easy, combining the songs together with smooth transitions so my wife and her father could dance to them all. It was a huge hit and seamlessly transitioned into a call for all to the dance floor. The reception was an absolute rager with all the hits; the dance floor was packed, and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend Adam and his team for your wedding.

Absolutely amazed by these guys. Adam and his team went above and beyond for our wedding. Last minute, I added a video segment to play for my wife from her family and they added it with 0 hassle or problems. Their music is mixed perfectly and you have complete control over what they play. Adam and Alex were great throughout the entire process. The coordination prior to the wedding was perfect, every detail was considered and discussed to make sure the event itself was seamless. They were a great time and just fun to work with, would definitely recommend!

Adam, Alex at the Photo Booth, the whole Philly Custom DJ operation, are the best. If you’re looking for a fun, creative, professional, and helpful DJ who will keep a dance floor full and ease the stress of planning, I recommend Adam. We can’t say enough good things. From the first meeting to after the last song on our wedding night, Adam made all the difference. We were planning the wedding from across the country and until meeting Adam, we were just trying to check off boxes and get stuff done rather than really think about what would make it special. We left each meeting confident, like we had uncovered some secret to wedding planning. The wedding was a blast. Everyone danced and our families loved the photo booth run by Alex. At the end, people said good things about the food, the space, the dress…but nothing or no one got more accolades than Adam, the music and the photo booth. In short: If you have a vision for your wedding, or need a guide to hosting a memorable event, Adam and his team are way to go! Adam and his team worked fast, were incredibly flexible, and open to all sorts of custom requests from me. Our DJ, Alex, did a wonderful job and kept the dance floor moving all night while working in deep cuts for me and my friends. Alex was thoughtful, kind and professional which made it easy to feel comfortable with him in control at the DJ booth.

I really can't recommend Adam and his organization enough. He is a consummate professional with an incredible eye for detail - he does not miss a beat - literally! We hired him for our wedding and at our request he was able to provide many different complicated sound systems in different places, complete sound checks, provide different types of microphones, video screens, photo booths - he really has it all!

Seriously do not even think twice about hiring Adam! My husband and I can't even begin to express how absolutely perfect our entire night went thanks to him. Music was super important to us and Adam nailed every single request we had. He wasn't afraid to let us know when he had advice on how to make things flow better, and he was 100% right every single time. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same with any other DJ.

Adam was SO helpful through our wedding planning process! He suggested some structure to our speeches, first dance, etc. that proved critical to keeping the event flowing and keeping everyone's attention. He met with us multiple times and reached out to our venue to coordinate details. All our guests had SO much fun and he played so many of our unique favorite songs. Adam was an excellent DJ. He met with us multiple times before our wedding. He was attentive to our needs and ensured that everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding. We are so happy we chose Philly Custom DJ to be apart of our wedding day. We hired Adam as our officiant and DJ for our wedding and he exceeded our expectations. My wife and I are far from type A people so most of our wedding planning was a struggle. My wife and I are incredibly pleased with our experience with Adam from start to finish he was very easy to communicate with. Getting a response from Adam was a breeze as he answered emails quickly and with great detail. Our zoom call prior to the wedding was very helpful as he guided us through the client portal he created. You can find all the guidance you may need on the website. We were able to easily create a timeline of events and when certain songs would play. We really loved how easy it was to add whatever songs you could think of and completely customize your playlist to make it as unique as you’d like. We had Alex as our DJ for a small, intimate micro-wedding at Peddler’s Village and everything was PERFECT! Through the entire planning process, I had a lot of questions and Alex was so patient with me, making sure to explain everything, and never made me feel like I was bothering him. He was always so quick to respond and incredibly friendly. We had special circumstances due to some health concerns that my husband has and Alex was amazing about accommodating all of our requests and they were incredibly fair when working within our budget constraints. During the wedding and ceremony itself, Alex kept the energy going and played a great mix of music incorporating everything that was important to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!

It's impossible to overstate how pleased we were with Adam at Philly Custom DJ. We initially reached out to Adam because we wanted a DJ who would play our custom playlist, but what he provided was much, much more. During the almost 2+ years it took to plan our wedding (COVID), Adam met with us regularly and provided valuable input and advice to help our wedding vision take shape. We found Philly Custom DJs through our venue's recommended vendor list and we are so glad we did! Adam was highly communicative and helpful in creating and adjusting our timeline and helping our crazy vision come true! His staff running the photo booth were so friendly and the music choices throughout the night kept our guests on the dance floor for hours. He helped our officiant be his most confident and had our Maid of Honor and Best Man ready to go for their speeches. Can’t say enough about our experience from start to finish with the Philly Custom DJ team! We first met with Adam who right away was super friendly and energetic about making sure our DJ experience was how WE envisioned it. He was so personable it felt like we knew him for years. Numerous video calls were held in the early months to make sure we had all of the resources we needed to make playlists and plan our timeline. Scheduling meetings was always super easy through their calendar and Adam’s communication was great & really put us at ease. He was always super responsive if we emailed him questions and was flexible when we had to make changes to our package. The portal was also a HUGE help during the entire planning process. It allowed us to listen to and add songs to custom playlists, create/edit the wedding timeline, pay invoices, assign songs to certain events, etc. The portal really made everything so easy that I can’t imagine not having it while planning. The DJs for our wedding were Alex and Jack. Again, leading up to our wedding there was incredible communication about song selection, our timeline, the venue and everything in between. I mean this as a compliment - there were many times where we didn’t notice the DJ team! By that I mean their setup and take down process and moving across our venue was seamless. Our venue had 3 different locations on-site for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They were able to seamlessly set up and move between each location without any break in music. At the reception, Alex & Jack kept the music on theme with our vibe but also played to the crowd so that there was always plenty of people up & dancing. If we had a change in plan or wanted to add something, they were fine doing it on the fly. We were having such a good time that we asked to extend for an hour (with payment) and they were totally happy to stay. They were incredibly accommodating! Philly Custom DJ was one of the first DJs we looked at and we knew almost immediately they were the people we needed for our wedding. So glad we had them for entertainment - they definitely contributed to how perfect our day went. Cannot recommend enough!!

Was so helpful with everything and after our initial meeting with Adam, we knew he was our guy! He knew the venue inside and out and made planning the music so easy. His portal is also very cool and helpful, I was very impressed with how much there was on it. From recommended playlists, to wedding playlist samples that were used, to most popular songs in the area. Adam was great and absolutely crushed it on our wedding day!

Adam was easy to work with from the start & very professional and organized. He uses a planning portal that we had access to for uploading music and other information. This was super helpful. We had Alex as our DJ for our wedding and Jack as our hype man. Alex took time with us prior to the wedding to understand the atmosphere we were trying to create and songs that would work well as well as figure out how songs would work with transitions from event to event. Everyone at the wedding LOVED Alex and Jack. Alex mixed a great mix from ceremony to dancing, and Alex and Jack both brought so much fun to the event! This was a wonderful experience through and through and I would recommend them for any event.

Adam was a fantastic planning partner and helped us cultivate a wedding playlist that represented us as a couple. He was quick to respond and very organized. He even went above and beyond by helping us create our dream wedding with cold sparks which were a real highlight of the party!!! Our guests loved them and it brought such a fun vibe to the dancefloor. He even let us use them for some cool couples pictures at night. We had a pandemic wedding. So we had to constantly shuffle and change schedules. Adam was there with us all the way. Knowledgeable and very helpful. Absolutely would recommend this service to anyone I know.

Absolutely 100000000% would hire again. Adam is a great communicator, he got right back to me every time I reached out. When the venue needed his COI - he sent it within minutes of my request. He would send some playlists and we would tweak them, and always responded in the hour. We lived farther away so our meeting were through zoom and via email, which worked out just fine. He was so detailed, which helped by guide the timing of my entire wedding. He was even thinking of things I wasn’t. I haven’t been to many weddings, so he recommended songs, music transitions, even customized music for the toasts. It helped me so much, that I felt very confident going into my wedding day. The music he curated with us was perfect, and he was able to get people to dance and out to the dance floor during those moments it got a bit light. He listened to my guests and heard them talking about Madonna, so he played one of her songs. Adam’s really attentive to the guests and requests as well. He’s got a great personality and very easy to work with. He even took some photos and sent them to us. We had our wedding playlist the next day so we could listen and relive it again. He is a great choice, and I highly recommend him and will definitely hire again for any future events.

Adam absolutely smashed it at our wedding a little over a month ago where we had 4 different locations that required audio at sometimes overlapping times. I can’t imagine a better wedding DJ than Adam!! I don’t even know where to begin with thanking him and recommending him to every engaged person I know. You know your DJ was a success when your guests keep asking for the playlist! And luckily Adam sent us a link to it on Spotify the next morning. We wanted a 90s school dance vibe with the bridesmaids walking down the aisle to Spice Girls and groomsmen to Back Street Boys and Adam happily indulged us. The online system for us to organize our special songs as well as preference was very simple to use and made preparation and organizing super easy. The day of he worked with our speakers before the ceremony to make sure the audio would be perfect, and was even ready to hype up the crowd although ours came ready to rage. Overall, we’re very happy with our choice!

We absolutely loved working with Adam! Philly Custom DJ was not just great at providing the music for our special day, but Adam also helped us through the process of planning out our reception. Our calls with him were fun and informative and really got us thinking about how we wanted our reception to go and what music we wanted to set the scene for our big day. We are so glad we chose Adam and crew for what ended up being our COVID-postponed wedding reception! Originally scheduled for August 2020, Adam was tremendously helpful in making our music/entertainment planning process incredibly easy. He shared a Google spreadsheet for us to easily add the songs and plan the day-of specifics. As we ended up having to push the event to this year, Adam allowed us time and space to adjust our plan, while being available whenever we needed to reach him. Now, getting to the reception itself, I couldn't have had a better time. Adam primarily used the playlist we shared with him in planning, and was able to add a few of his own gems that fit the vibe. He even seamlessly fit a song in that I accidentally added to the playlist! In addition to keeping the tunes going and maintaining a fun atmosphere, Adam was also took the time to ease my nerves when he noticed I was starting to stress a little in the beginning. As the night went on, Adam, Alex, and Jack ensured the good time kept on going, and joined us on the dancefloor from time to time. The Philly Custom DJ crew were an absolute treat to have at our reception, and a huge part of why everyone enjoyed themselves so much! Couldn't be happier.

Adam was so organized and flexible as we planned for multiple wedding dates during a pandemic. He utilized zoom meetings for constant communication. The best DJ to work with. We're both engineers by trade so the use of a shared spreadsheet that included questions to think about, potential music choices for various occasions during the wedding, and ceremony examples helped us tremendously! Adam was wonderful to work with, always got back to us quickly and even made a three song epic mix for our first dance!!! He also made it easy to surprise my groom on wedding day with a wedding party dance! Honestly, for any other party, we would definitely go with him again!!! Adam is just the best. We seriously cannot express how amazing he was at helping us to finalize the planning for our wedding in the middle of this pandemic. When we said we wanted to include a virtual portion of our wedding including a Zoom chat live with some of our virtual guests he didn't even bat an eye. In many ways, Adam was even more organized than our wedding planner! He handed us a spreadsheet that included ALL of the information we could want and more for our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception playlists, and also had suggestions for all of the above. Let me tell everyone something right now - you NEED Adam to be your wedding DJ. If you’re having your wedding in PA, he’s a MUST. I first spoke with Adam in October 2019. We had a zoom meeting with my husband to be soon after, and it was very clear that we made the right choice. He exudes so much enthusiasm about you as an individual, the couple getting married, and the wedding itself that you can’t help but be hyped for your wedding as he’s helping you compile your list of music for the wedding. He does not push any agenda, he’s very supportive of the couple doing their own thing and doing whatever makes them happy. If you don’t want to do a father daughter dance? He’s with it. If you want to have a special dance with you and your two best friends on the floor before you do anything else? He’s with it. He’s very knowledgeable of “traditional” wedding elements if you choose to have them as part of your day, but does not push the issue if you don’t and is open to any and everything else you have in mind. During covid we had a number of zoom meetings with him, and he remained supportive and positive which really helped us keep our heads in the game. On the day of the wedding when we finally met him in person, it was like seeing family. He’s just such a great person to work with. Not to mention he’s an AWESOME dj! He arranged everything EXACTLY how we asked. Everything was executed perfectly and I got so many compliments from everyone about the music and how cool he was! I highly recommend Adam of Philly Custom DJ - you will not regret choosing him!

We hired Adam for our wedding and he was absolutely great. He was flexible with our venue's restrictions (i.e. outdoor dance floor, limited space, etc.) and still made sure everyone had an awesome time. The pressure is on. This is the most important review of my life. Why? Simple, because when you hire Adam and work with Philly Custom DJ for your wedding, he makes your wedding day the most important of his life. Not unlike a lot of you, my now wife Courtney and I knew we wanted a DJ for our wedding annnnd we didn't have much of a clue beyond that. We read review after review trying to get a sense of who would "click" with our vibe. Something about Adam's reviews stuck with us. People LOVED Adam. Well, I'll save you time...dont read any more reviews, just hire Adam! Adam takes the time to get to know you personally. Via phone calls or Zooms he asks questions about everything from musical likes and dislikes, to ceremony/cocktail hour/reception vibe, to sound cues so everything goes off without a hitch. He has good advice when needed but also is happy to go forward with whatever vision you see for your day. All of your information and preferences are kept on a google doc sheet which you can update as well as your convenience so nothing is ever forgotten or overlooked Like I said, he really really cares. Adding in COVID could throw anyone off their game, but Adam was ready, willing and able to meet the challenge. He purchased extra wireless mics so every individual speaker during our day could have their own mic, with their own personal boom cover and personal equipment safe sanitizer to keep everyone as safe as possible. The day of our wedding is where Adam really shined. He set up his sound system for our rain contingency ceremony (we had a lot of bad luck leading up to this wedding) and when the sun shined an hour before the start, Adam moved like lightning to get his equipment outside/getting sound check completed/welcoming guests and we never skipped a beat. He mixed an incredible set for our cocktail hour that we still listen to every time we are boozin around our house. As for the reception, I think Adam had as much fun as we did dancing to the music and taking requests from our masked up guests who weren't going to let this pandemic stop them from having a safe, socially responsible blast on the dance floor. Where to begin? I guess I'll start by saying Adam (note the first name basis with the CEO) and his team instantly gave us the impression this was the only wedding they were planning that year. They were constantly in contact months before the wedding with updates and home-made gifs to make us feel special. Then COVID hit, and we feared all was lost. But that's when this company's true colors shone through, as Adam didn't skip a beat and kept on planning. Without hesitation, he tailored our wedding to stay safe without losing any of the party, which is something we never could have done on our own. He coordinated closely and professionally with all of our vendors, even helping us with the timing of the ceremony and events. Above all, we had several older relatives who were unsafe to travel during the pandemic and Adam independently created a Youtube stream specific to our wedding complete with a crystal clear audio and video setup. I hope it comes through that not only do we sound biased because we had a personal connection with this team but they were truly consummate professionals from beginning to end, seamlessly holding our wedding (and marriage) together during a pandemic.

When planning a wedding there are so many details that are important. Music being one of the most. I can’t say enough about Adam and his team. He paid attention to who we were as a couple from the 1st meeting to our last pre-wedding meeting (yes, he does meetings with you!) He was extremely passionate about making sure everything would be perfect for our wedding day. Even asking us to approve what he should wear. There were check-in’s, playlist scrubbing, even attention to artists that we may not want played for ethical reasons. We hadn’t considered a photo booth, but it wound up being the hit of the wedding! Everyone commented to us on how much fun they had, and how much they enjoyed Adam and his assistant. I felt like Adam was a family member by the end of this process. We would recommend him a million times over. He truly was one of the top vendors for our wedding.

Adam was our first vendor booked, and working with him was a serious pleasure from start to finish. He was friendly from the beginning and by the end felt like a friend instead of a vendor. First, my my husband and I are seriously passionate about music and the music at our wedding was a HUGE deal to us. We are a little alternative in our music, where we might not like the regular "wedding classic" music. Adam was PERFECT for us because he worked with us through every detail of the music. He offered us expert advice on his point of view from going to many weddings, and ultimately made us feel like we could be ourselves and we felt very accepted despite our quirkiness. We could not have asked for someone better for us to DJ our wedding. We were able to work with Adam to curate a playlist that we would love and ceremony and cocktail hour playlists we would love. We were complimented over and over again about our music. He was able to weave in our more punk music with classic dance songs and songs for the older crowd perfectly. Everything went so well and we had such a good time, and so did our guests! I was so overjoyed watching our guests have fun and dance to the music, and that is all thanks to Adam! Thank you for making our reception so fun, and thank you for letting us be ourselves!
