Josh and Christie were absolutely amazing to work with, and captured our day so beautifully. They were always completely professional and transparent about the process, but also were extremely personable and kind. We felt truly lucky to have them capture our wedding. They were never intrusive yet managed to get a shot of every big moment. The memories we have of our day will be thanks to them, and we are so grateful for it! Thank you Josh and Christie!

We loved working with Josh and Christy on our wedding. From our first meeting we loved the casual nature and their willingness to make our engagement pictures and wedding memorable. With two photographers our wedding was captured from every angle. We received our pictures back within a reasonable time and had so many to look through! We loved being able to relive our wedding from the pictures.

Josh and Christie of JXC Photo phenomenally captured one of the biggest moments in the lives of my wife and I - our wedding day! My wife and I met with several different photographers while planning for our wedding and we could tell that Josh and Christie wanted to help make our big day special from the moment we first met them. They use the latest photography equipment, gave us the best bang for our buck, and were very accommodating to last minute timing and add on changes. Josh and Christie were very prepared and organized, wanting to make sure they captured all of our “must have” moments. Josh and Christie were both very professional, captured many more photos than we thought, and even went above and beyond by helping the wedding party get ready for the ceremony. I’m thankful we decided to go with a two person photographer team as they captured memories from multiple angles simultaneously throughout the wedding. It clearly paid off in the vivid and amazing photos they captured. Without a doubt Josh and Christie will absolutely be called upon again for future family photo sessions by us. If it’s not clear, we highly recommend them!

Josh and Christine did a great job capturing our wedding day, and were very pleasant to work with in the days leading up to the wedding and in getting our photos to us. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy working with two laid back professional people with good chemistry.

My husband and I interviewed several photographers for our wedding. When we met Josh and Christie, we left the meeting feeling really excited about their abilities and what we got out of the initial meeting/ consultation. On top of that, we really liked them! It took no time for us to decide Josh and Christie were going to be the perfect fit for our wedding and, in fact, they were one of the best decisions we made on our wedding day. They were communicative, on time, friendly, attentive, invisible (in the best way) and most importantly, they captured the moments we really wanted. When I looked at the photos for the first time, I cried. They were exactly what I envisioned and exactly what I told them I wanted out of my wedding pictures. I wouldn’t hesitate for one second to recommend them to anyone needing a skilled, professional photographer.

We were so happy with these two and their amazing work! During the whole process from hiring them up until the big day, Josh and Christie were so great to work with and our photos are stunning. They are so professional yet personable and we are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with them for our wedding!

Josh and Christie were everything we hoped for in a wedding photographer! Photography was my highest priority and they absolutely nailed it. Every encounter we had with them was professional, fun and all around great. Our photos turned out unbelievable and they were able to capture all of my requests. Our wedding photography came out excellent. We were initially hesitant since the samples from their portfolio were not quite what we were looking for, but after an email or two they had some albums that lined up directly with our tastes. Their aesthetic and style is excellent, and Josh and Christie were a pleasure to work with. Our photography was one of the most important components of our wedding, as we had a lot of family at the wedding from around the world. Everything from the planning to the shooting to the final product exceeded our hopes. We had a mix of styles, including outdoor, indoor, and posed shots, and they all came out very well. However, we particularly liked their candid photography at the reception.

Josh and Christie were everything that we wanted in a wedding photographer and some. Picking a photographer was our highest priority and we wanted someone who would be able to capture our day in a way that, when we looked back through the pictures, we would feel the emotions and how we felt (because, honestly, it was a blur to us) and they delivered beyond our expectations! We received a large amount of pictures - and approximately all of them are our favorites. We had a somewhat complicated schedule - starting with girls at the salon, a split bridal party that shared a limo, some formal portraits off site at a state park (which they scoped out before hand), then family pictures after the ceremony (in which I provided an extremely extensive, over-the-top shot list, in which they slayed!). My husband and I have discussed getting professional shots done since we didn't do engagement pictures, and we are planning on contacting JxC once we have those plans in place. 10/10 recommend JxC.

Josh and Christie are fantastic! I had scheduled to meet with 3 wedding photographers but after meeting Josh and Christie I cancelled my other 2 appointments. My husband and I were just so immediately comfortable with them and their work is beautiful. I am not very comfortable with having my picture taken but Josh and Christie made it fun and put me at ease. They made it incredibly easy to keep in contact before the wedding and were very timely and accommodating in their responses. I would highly recommend them! They were definitely my favorite of my wedding vendors.

We are so lucky to have had Josh and Christie photograph our wedding day. They were extremely organized and easy to work with, they even went out of their way to meet in person and discuss our day multiple times during the planning. A few days before the wedding they drove up to Copper Mountain, and found an amazing 1st look location we hadn't even thought of! They captured all the images we requested and more. We have some amazing memories that we will cherish forever in the beautiful photos they captured for us!

Josh & Christie are so kind and professional! I didn't provide them with much direction, because I wanted our wedding photography to truly document our day, rather than focusing on posed pictures. It was probably a tough challenge for JXC Photo, but they totally came through. We LOVE our photos! I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. They were out of the way, considerate, and helpful.

Josh and his wife did an AMAZING job with our photos. We have so many that we absolutely love and he was so easy to work with. We felt so comfort with them and they made taking pictures fun!

Josh and Christie were a joy to work with! My husband and I are not comfortable being photographed, but they provided just enough direction for natural poses that looked relaxed and happy. They did an excellent job handling challenging outdoor lighting and mountain scenery, and worked seamlessly as a team. They listened to our vision of the wedding as far as the mix of candid vs. posed photos.

Josh and Christie were phenomenal! They found a great spot nearby our venue for wedding party photos, and easily accommodated our requests for more candid shots throughout the festivities. They were super easy to communicate with, and asked smart questions in advance that helped us out with our own planning. I'd definitely recommend them for any couple looking to avoid the over-processed look achieved by other photographers too.

Josh and Christie are an absolutely phenomenal team of wedding photographers. On top of being personable and friendly, they were great at communicating back and forth with my wife and I throughout the planning process. We met with them several times leading up to our wedding to visit venues, and at each meeting they built on their a plan for how to best photograph our wedding. Their excellent communication and thoughtful planning yielded photos of our big day that are simply stunning, and we couldn't be happier with how all of our pictures turned out.

We absolutely LOVE the photos of our wedding day, and we have Josh and Christie to thank for that. We asked them to capture the authentic moments and emotions of the day, and that's exactly what they did. The candid shots they caught of us and our guests are so, so good. They bring back all of our favorite parts of our joy-filled day. Besides being talented photographers, they're also super nice, laid-back paper, and they set a relaxed vibe for the formal pictures that made everyone feel comfortable, even the kids. And on top of it, their prices are so reasonable for the Denver area. I truly can't recommend them enough!

We got married on a beautiful fall day in Breckenridge and Josh and Christie captured it perfectly. My husband doesn't love taking endless pictures, but they were great at keeping things relaxed and easy. I also liked that they asked us a lot of questions in advance so the day went really smoothly.

Despite it being a long time since our wedding, I wanted to write a belated review. I've gotten the chance to look at several wedding albums with a different perspective after our wedding and I've come to the conclusion that Josh did a wonderful job! He captured our wedding perfectly, getting the mood just right and catching some of the details we didn't even tell him about. The pictures are crisp and clear and tell the story so well. I remember being slightly disappoint that we'd get "so few" pictures but after seeing other people's albums, I'm so thankful for the time and energy Josh put into choosing only the best pictures to pass on to us. It was more than enough! And his work meant that I actually got around to making a beautiful book with them since I could do it all in one (full) day. I don't regret any part of our decision to have Josh there for our special day! Thank you!!

I was disappointed when I received our photos, but Josh is very willing to make things right for us.

We loved working with Josh and his wife Christie! They both worked very hard to give us exactly want we wanted for our wedding day and we weren't disappointed. The pictures were stunning. We loved every single one of them so much that we asked for all of our raw footage as well. They were more then happy to allow us to have them. Everyone at the wedding commented on what a wonderful job they did. You would be crazy not to use them! Thank again for such a wonderful representation on our big day!

Josh and Christine are ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! We had them photograph our wedding on 8/27/16 at the Evergreen Lake House and could not be happier with our choice. They met with us to scout out our location a few months before the wedding. They were very organized, and recognized what was important to us immediately. The day of, they arrived on time and coordinated my first look with my husband. We had a gigantic wedding party and Josh and Christine made coordinating everyone for photos seem easy. Our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and they really captured the happiness and candid moments of the day. I felt like when we looked at the pictures we got to experience our wedding all over again! I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a photographer!

We couldn't be happier with our photos. Josh and Christie's portfolio had exactly what we were looking for: great, crisp photos, bright, warm light, and an excellent ability to capture people and nature. Our wedding was in a garden, so it was important that we get a photographer who could really set our special day against the beauty of the setting. We booked with them and it was one of the best vendor choices we made. Josh and Christie were able to produce absolutely stunning photos of us and our attendees at the event. Every picture is perfect, catching the feeling of the scene, flattering the subject, and providing a beautiful memory. We have a large family, and a number of complications regarding who can go in what photo, and they were able to coordinate everyone and get the ideal family photos that we had emphasized would be so important to us. With so many people and so much going on, the wedding was pretty fast paced at times. Josh and Christie were able to use their time very well. When we weren't posing for photos or a specific event wasn't taking place, they captured a lot of details of the space, the event, and the participants. We were blown away by how much detail they got. We were absolutely delighted with our experience with JxC Photo and would recommend them to anyone!

We used JXC and he did an amazing job on our photos!!! I cannot get over how beautiful they all turned out! I would definitely suggest using him if you if you are in the area. He was very friendly, and helpful and the pictures were beautiful and we got them all for a great price. Very happy!

Josh photographed our elopement wedding in Boulder and another small session at Union Station that night. Not only was he super easy to work with, but his photos came out beautifully.

I choose Josh after seeing his portfolio and reading his bio, I wanted someone who we would be comfortable with and he was obviously talented. We wanted a very specific feel for our photography and Josh delivered. He listened and the end product was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Day of he was amazing! Calm and collected he really made me feel at ease with all the day of stress. He captured the feeling of our wedding not just the image. Thank you Josh! You were such a stress free, amazing vendor to work with.

We were having a hard time choosing a wedding photographer. Most often, budget aside, a photographer has a predefined aesthetic they are unwilling to stray from. Hence, all subsequent weddings end up being templates of each other, however bright, airy and refreshing the pictures might look. This was not the case with Josh. I stumbled upon Josh accidentally, as our destination wedding approached, and it became quite imperative that we decide on a photographer. Josh's pictures are truly an extension of his personality. Blending into situations seamlessly, transcending the technical jargons of camera gear to focus on the most basic and therefore essential emotion driving the moment. Although our budget could only afford him, without his co-shooter and wife, who I believe he usually works with, he was (seemingly) present at both of us getting dressed, and captured photographs quickly and efficiently to make it seem like he was at both places at once. He's not afraid of changing circumstances, as was the case with some (very nervously watched) pre-wedding showers, and an almost last minute changing of the ceremony site. He was invisible, yet fundamental. He harmoniously took suggestions about pictures from guests,( and yes, me) but also shot the frames he wanted. Trust me, his was better. At the end of the night, he brought his camera out one last time, to shoot an impromptu water sliding session with late night guests. He didn't have to, but he did because the moment was fun. Hire Josh, he will imbibe your wedding pictures with fun, joyful, unscripted moments that are free of a photographer trying to show off his technical prowess (he's knowledgeable, just ask him about cameras), but focused on images of lasting quality reflecting the uniqueness of you as a couple.

Josh was so great! He met with us beforehand and asked us about which types of photos were most important for us and he made sure to capture a lot of those. He was very flexible working with our large family shots, and unobtrusive for the candid shots. We didn't really go much for the posing but he took lots of candid shots of us goofing off and having fun. The end results we received were beautifully edited and just really fantastic. We don't have anything bad to say about Josh or his work - fully satisfied with everything he did for us!

Josh photographed our wedding in October and also did our engagement photos. Our photos turned out beautiful! He is really good at capturing those once in lifetime spontaneous moments that happen at a wedding. He was very good at taking charge when he needed to (including walking us through the cake cutting) but also letting us do our thing. We had a wonderful wedding and he helped make that happen. Josh was absolutely wonderful to work with, and we LOVE our wedding photos! Picking the right photographer for our wedding was very important to us because we are a crazy, fun-loving couple, and we really wanted a photographer who was going to be able to capture that in our photos. Josh was able to capture who we are as a couple perfectly in our beautiful formal shots from the ceremony, as well as our candid shots from the reception. It was a pleasure getting to work with Josh and Christie for our wedding! They each have a terrific eye individually; together, they capture subtle and intimate moments in a beautiful way. Their portfolio speaks for itself, but it doesn't capture how easy going they both are. We both felt so comfortable having them with us through the day of our wedding.

Josh and Christie photographed our outdoor August wedding, and did a phenomenal job! I knew that I didn't want a lot of posed, "standard" wedding shots and they really captured candid moments from our wedding and reception. Josh took some of our absolute favorite photos right after our ceremony when we weren't even aware he was there! On the flip side, we also gave them a list of groups and specific shots we wanted and they tracked everyone down and got all of those shots. They were friendly, really listened to our requests, and put us both completely at ease. We couldn't have picked a better pair to photograph our wedding, and I highly recommend them!

Josh was amazing!!! I wish there was a sixth star we could add for him! He had such wonderful vision and took some incredible photos for my husband and me on our wedding day! He caught moments I didn't get to see during the party and captured some memories we will have for a lifetime! I would recommend him to absolutely everyone I know! Josh became our photographer on my wedding day due to an unfortunate event for our original photographer. (Fortunately, she booked him for us instead of leaving us hanging the day of.) Josh called/texted to introduce himself and sent me he website just to reassure me that we would be in good hands. He was able to step in as if we hired him from the beginning. He's very professional and approachable. He captured our wedding and reception in its entirety. He also gave us some creative artistic shots as well. Needless to say I was very pleased with our photos and with Josh.

Josh and Christie are amazing! They focus on the details and make even the boring posed photos look great. Josh is a true professional and knows which shots work. Even some things I thought would turn out cheesy looked amazing. All the shots from our wedding are bright and brilliant. Not sure how to even pick my favorites.

He understands art, and color and found a lot of joy on our wedding day. There was a celebrative picture of nearly everyone who attended. The spirit of the event was all captured...even though we gave him very little "posed" opportunities to shoot. He had to capture a lot of real moments of emotion, and he did it! Our only regret is that we didn't hire him for the next-day reception. Those pictures are just not up to the gorgeousness of our wedding. He's a good man, and I think he truly believes in love!

My husband and I absolutely adore Josh. Not only is he amazing at his job, but he truly cares about making your event real for you again and again whenever you look at your photos. I hardly noticed he was there The entire time because everything he did was so smooth and easy. He followed my time line perfectly with not one issue and captured every single moment I asked for. Everytime I did see him he was smiling and enjoying the moment as if it was also his. He is so personable and I would reccomnend him to everyone who asks me for a wedding photographer. Everyone looks at our photos and says they look like something out of stock photo from the store because of how perfect they turned out. Josh and Christie were seriously amazing. We took our engagement photos with Josh and were so pleased with the pictures that we booked him for our wedding as well. Josh is extremely talented, but what’s more is that he listens to your vision. I had a ton of ideas and a huge shot list, and he was able to bring my vision to life and give us the exact style we wanted. He was very on top of things; I don’t think he stopped stopped moving once during our entire wedding! Plus, he was great to work with. He’s very personable, and down to earth. Basically, he fits right in in Denver ;) You won’t regret booking him.

When I started looking around for photographers, I knew that the pictures were more important to me than the flowers or cake and so I was willing to use more of my budget towards that. I was surprised when my favorite work of the prospective photographers I met with was also some of the most affordable. They were friendly, easy to work with, and produced great work. All of our friends and family loved the pictures and our album is gorgeous. Despite moving across the country during our engagement, they stayed in constant contact; working with me through email to determine the style of shooting that would work best for my wedding. They really go above and beyond what is in the contract to make sure our day was stress free. They seemed to be everywhere the day of the wedding without getting in the way. It was great to have a couple working together for our shots, so not only did they know what moments to look for from their own experience, but having a second shooter meant that I got to see behind the scenes of my husband getting ready and of both his reaction to my walking down the aisle and me and my father's walk. Overall they were extremely talented, affordable, and a joy to work with. I'd recommend them to any of my friends and family getting married.

First I wanted to start off by saying that Josh's photos were phenomenal. He took this one amazing shot that is my favorite! I made it my cover picture on social media and the cover of my photo album. All of my friends keep asking if my husband and I posed for it but nope; Josh just caught the moment and it was amazing. He was punctual, super sweet, and really out of the way. I barely noticed him there except for when he introduced himself. I enjoyed his photos so much that we will be using him again whenever we have another big moment.
