A Stevi Hanson Wedding

We had the pleasure of working with Stevi for our wedding this past May. She truly set the tone at our ceremony and it went so smoothly thanks to her. Through our various meetings her leading up to the day, we were able to create a wonderful, personalized ceremony that included traditional Filipino ceremony elements. Stevi was so easy to work with and very prompt in communicating with us. She also collected our marriage certificate from us on the day, obtained the signatures necessary, and filed it with the county's office for us (one less thing you have to worry about on your wedding day!). We received many compliments from our guests about how well spoken, pleasant, and personable Stevi was during the ceremony! We are so grateful that she was part of our big day!

As a wedding coordinator I work with a lot of officiants, some professional some friends of the couples. Stevi was the Officiant for one of my brides and she was such a joy to work with. Her excellent communication and pleasant demeanor not only made the experience for the bride and groom great but also for me as a coordinator. There is a lot of communication with vendor teams before the wedding and Stevi was always on top of it. The day of the wedding she arrived very nicely dressed and did a beautiful ceremony. We have since added her to our preferred vendor list. Too many other professional officiants are very difficult to work with or do not want to be a team so I am very grateful to Stevi for being a true professional!

We can't say enough positive things about hiring Stevi to officiate our wedding. Honestly, I knew from the moment we hopped on a Zoom call to have an introductory call that she was right for us. We wanted a simple non-denominational ceremony, but so many other officiants all felt gimmicky. Stevi immediately felt down to earth and truly interested in our story and relationship. Every time we met with her it felt like hanging out with a friend. She really understood what we wanted and helped us customize it as much as we wanted. We gave our input on what we'd like her to say, even going as far as her letting us just change some words around. What we ended up with was a ceremony that not only we loved, but it sounded like there wasn't a dry eye in the seats. People are still telling us how wonderful the ceremony was and how it resonated with so many different people. It was absolutely wonderful. Enough also can't be said about her professionalism and how easy it was to work with her the day of. When she got to the venue I felt like a chicken with my head cut off and she simply asked the names of people she needed to find and went off on her own to find them. I can't tell you what an absolute treat that was to have someone confident and capable. We highly recommend Stevi!

This is her wheelhouse and she is bleepin' good at it. She had amazing suggestions and followed up by providing samples to pick and choose to craft our ceremony together. After two rounds of revisions, we pounded out our perfect ceremony for our wedding day. Showtime Stevi was so sweet in real life and it felt so natural having her there with us. We had a very small elopement with 3 of our closest friends and she just felt like part of the crew. Stevi exceeded them all at ever point in the process. We loved Stevi from the beginning. Stevi asked questions and listened to what mattered to us. She proactively shared ideas we loved and never would have thought of incorporating into our ceremony- wine box, warming of the rings, etc. We found her guidance incredibly helpful and she's a joy with whom to work- we vetted a number of other officiants in the region and she was head and shoulders above the rest and the best. We love that Stevi provided a range of ceremony examples and different approaches that helped us decide what we wanted to use as a starting point and she was great working with us to incorporate personalized elements, wording and readings. Stevi has pulled together a fantastic library of readings, vows, and other material to draw upon which really helped us. We did a number of turns by email with Stevi, where she proactively suggested ways to better organize and order from her deep experience. We even had some last minute changes she was on top of. The day of our wedding, Stevi came prepared to the event, dressed simply but elegantly- she refused flowers for her dress to not upstage the bride. Stevi then delivered the officiant remarks in the warmest, most gracious, engaging manner all our family and guests loved. Moreover, we gave her the marriage certificate and she gathered the signatures needed and ensured those were properly filled out before filing on our behalf with the county. I would highly recommend Stevi to anyone looking for an officiant. She helped set the tone for our entire wedding. We loved that she had a relaxed style. She put us at ease and is so good at rolling with the punches to make the whole ceremony feel very natural and comfortable. After watching some videos of other ceremonies she had officiated, we knew she would be a perfect fit for our wedding. We loved that we could customize the entire ceremony to make sure everything was a reflection of how we felt about each other. The process of working with her before the ceremony was easy and helpful. For the actual ceremony, she was professional, punctual, and took care of everything we needed. We were just blown away by how well everything went. We couldn't have asked for more on one of the most important days of our lives. Most of our guests came up to us at some point that day and told us it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended. They may say that to everyone, but we believed them. :-) Everyone kept telling us they never cry at weddings, but they couldn't help crying, and that they thought it was so heartfelt. Stevi was the best. We researched lots of options and watched their videos beforehand, and even before meeting her we knew we'd feel comfortable with her. She has a gift of keeping the ceremony professional and organized, but calm and light hearted, and serious when needed. She was able to roll with the punches when a child fell out of a chair, and then another young guest started crying. We had a typical COVID wedding - delayed a year then eventually canceled due to travel concerns with the family. We ended up eloping and found Stevi at the last minute. We are sure glad we did. We had an amazing experience with Stevi since day one, and can't think of a better option than her! We held our Minimony / Virtual Ceremony in the wine country, and Stevi was very helpful to us to help us prepare our civil ceremony. We tried very hard to not have the mainstreaml/cringy ceremony, and she totally got us! She made very assertive suggestions and provided great guidance regarding ceremonies, which we had no clue about before meeting with her. She also provided guidance on the marriage license and was always very responsive and helpful to any of our doubts. I highly recommend Stevi for all your officiating needs! After a cancelled wedding due to Covid, we decided to elope last minute and I feel so lucky I found Stevi. She was flexible, responsive, lighthearted - and performed a beautiful ceremony that my fiancé and I, and our parents, were so happy with. I really appreciated her affordability; and she was prompt and knowledgeable with the marriage license procedures, of course :) Side note: she also recommended the BEST photo op that ended up my being and my mom’s absolute FAVORITE picture from the whole wedding.

The venue we booked our elopement package with included an officiant - enter Stevi Hanson! We were skeptical initially at the thought of having a "stranger" marry us, but she was fantastic. We immediately felt comfortable and supported by her during our phone meetings and felt like she truly cared about helping us create the best ceremony we could have hoped for in a relatively short amount of time. She was professional, communicative, and helpful, providing us with handy templates and wonderful ideas to include in our ceremony we would have never thought of otherwise. She even printed out our marriage license for us as we didn't have easy access to a printer while traveling! If we had to give one critique, having Stevi meet both of us brides in person (separately) prior to the start of the intimate ceremony would have made the moment feel a little more personal. One of us was in charge of handling the vendor arrivals so that could have been the reason why only one of us met her prior. No big deal, but a quick pop by to connect the face to the name would have been a nice personal touch for the both of us in hindsight. Highly recommend Stevi!
