I cannot begin to express how appreciative I am of Angela and her team at Blue Wings Events. Although we had a relatively small event (70 people), and I consider myself to be an organized, detail-oriented person, I had GREATLY underestimated the time and energy it would have taken for me and my husband to pull our wedding off without something going sideways. Looking back, Angela’s experience and knowledge of vendors, and the requisite expectations of their saved our day from impending disaster, and she transformed our wedding day into something we were able to thoroughly enjoy. We received so many compliments on her services beginning with our dress rehearsal through the end of our reception. Of particular noteworthiness, Angela and her team were so respectful and thoughtful to our elderly family members, and went above and beyond to ensure that they were comfortable and happy.
Angela took the time to meet with us personally to go over each and every detail of the wedding to and kept everything on track. Most importantly, she was a partner and advocate for us. Weddings are an expensive endeavor, and she was able to negotiate prices on our behalf, ensure that agreements were kept, and provided invaluable, candid advice on how we could avoid some unnecessary expenses. I recommend Angela and her team at Blue Wings without hesitation. Her services were the best investment made for our most special day.
Was not thinking of using any event planner because I always assumed they were just for large events. I am so glad we choose to go this route. Using Blue Wings Events for our daughter’s wedding was everything that they promised. Our family was able to enjoy the whole day because they took care of everything in a very professional and personal way. Being able to concentrate on spending time with my daughter and being there for her made the whole experience wonderful. Would totally recommend them to anyone planning an event.

Our all inclusive wedding at the Silvercloud Hotel in Point Ruston went off without a hitch. Everything was elegant and beautiful and the planners accommodated all of our additional requests including live music and using special decor that we provided. We are so grateful to Blue Wings Event, LLC, Stacy, Angela and the rest of the team for making our special day flawless.
Angela and the Blue Wings team were absolutely incredible throughout our whole experience in planning our wedding. Due to the pandemic, we went through three venue changes and three date changes, and they were able to seamlessly coordinate each change. They suggested vendors that fit our desires and personalities, and made our dream wedding a reality. The day of, we had no worries over logistics and could just enjoy our day with family. With our busy schedule planning a wedding was almost impossible. Angela and her team made everything possible and even when we couldn't be present they always had our vision in mind! They found the perfect vendors for us and none of our ideas was too big or ridiculous. Angela made it happen within budget!

Blue Wings Events made our day amazing! Angela and Stacy were our main wedding planners and Angela and Michele were our “day of” coordinators. My husband and I both had busy schedules during the planning of our wedding, and they made the whole process so much easier. We did not have to worry about talking directly to the different vendors (caterer, florist, DJ, etc.). Angela and Stacy were very flexible. When we didn’t like the photographers they suggested, they found another that we loved and adjusted so we could stay within our budget. No one in our wedding party had ever been part of a wedding, so Angela and her team gave us a lot of guidance for what exactly we were going to do and when to do it. With Angela and her team, you never had to worry if a small detail would be missed. It really made the stress of wedding planning go away. I would recommend that everyone hires Angela and her team!
We have so many good things to say about using Blue Wings Events. Angela and Cindy handled our wedding and did a wonderful job. Angela is an expert and experienced event planner. She anticipates every little detail far in advance which is obviously extremely valuable. She was clever in solving a variety of tricky issues that came up in the planning process. Cindy did the majority of the day of coordinating/executing and her contribution was also impeccable. Between all the vendors, parties and moving pieces involved: there's a lot of little things that need handling and she made sure they were all handled smoothly and when possible - in advance. We can't thank them enough!!!
What can I say about Angela and her team... My wife and I had Angela's help from the beginning. She was attentive in our desires, quick to expand on our idea's of what was possible, strict to our budget, and AMAZING with her recommendations. Angela took the time to make our day unique, personal, and wonderful. It was far grander than anything I thought I could afford and the absolute perfect day for my Wife and I. There are numerous legal sections to planning a wedding that I had not even considered and Angela and her team took care of everything. She left us feeling confident and assured leading up to the day through constant communication and meetings throughout the process and ensured that there was nothing but good times to be had by all. I have to say, get a planner... It will make your life so much easier and don't look further than this one. Angela, Stacy, and Michelle helped with planning and ensuring a perfect day. They managed people, family, and vendors. They did coordinating, logistics, assisted in idea creation, colors, themes, and ensured that this was a day we will never forget. This was the perfect, Dream come true, experience. Do yourself a favor and hire Angela and her team!
The one thing I have learned from my wedding is that the MOST important thing to have, are planners. And I couldn't have found the most perfect ones. All the details of planning was really stressing me out, and they helped me clarify everything I needed to do and made it so much easier. The day of, I didn't have to worry about a single thing. They were like my secret service, making everything run smooth and letting me have the most perfect day of my life. Whenever my friends get married, I WILL be referring them to Blue Wings!
We are so thankful we had Angela before and on our wedding day!! She started by getting to know our personalities, even looking at Instagram and asking questions about our hobbies. She really got to know us and what we liked and (almost more importantly) what we disliked! Angela is incredible with details and doesn't just recommend vendors, she recommended us to specific people who share our likes and dislikes and styles. She thinks of all the little things, and we had a blast planning together!
The day of the wedding was a breeze, and all we had to do was show up to an event that turned out much more beautiful, more seamless, and more entertaining than I could have ever imagined, let alone done by myself. Forever grateful for Angela and her team for our dream wedding!!
Angela and her team are absolutely wonderful. Planning a wedding from across the country would have been a nightmare- when I found her I was instantly relieved. She took my scatterbrained vision of a wedding and turned it into the perfect day for us. There were so many special little touches throughout the day that warmed our hearts. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Angela and her staff.
Angela and Stacy did such a great job at bringing my vision to life (I would say ours but my husband didn’t have any thoughts on design). I was the person that thought I could easily handle a wedding on my own and if it wasn’t for my venue requiring day of wedding planner, I would have probably tried to do it on my own. Seeing the end result, the most amazing day I could have ever asked for, I highly recommend everyone having a wedding planner and specifically Blue Wing Events. My husband and I are incredibly busy people, traveling weekly for our jobs and Angela and her staff made planning a wedding in 6 months a breeze. We ended up going with full planning as the extent of the details were were looking for could have never been handled on our own with our crazy schedules. Angela and her staff were there along the way, making sure we stayed on schedule and meeting with us based on our schedules. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I had zero stress, day of, as the bride and that was all due in part to Angela and her staff. Our guests were absolutely amazed by the whole evening, being a bit more complex with a ceremony, reception and a NYE party after....Blue Wing Events took care of it all! Please trust Angela and her staff to make your wedding the day the best day of your lives!
Where do we begin with all the accolades we could say about Angela, her assistant Stacy, and everyone they connected us with during this journey? I guess we could start by saying that we went into wedding planning not thinking we were going to hire a wedding planner. However, as serendipity would have it, we met her at a catering tasting, and realized that not only did we need to hire a wedding planner, but that we needed to hire Blue Wings specifically. The short version of the story is that she and her folks really went above and beyond to understand and then work with, through, or around all the complexities and challenges we were facing. I'll spare you our details and just suggest that you can fill in your own challenges/worries about any event you're planning and tell you that anything on your mind is in good hands and that she'll take care of them; I'm sure she's already been around the block before with whatever it is that you'll need and she's willing to learn and execute the rest with TLC (more on that later). Angela has been incredible, from giving so much of her time to listening to us about everything that needed special attention and executing it flawlessly day-of, to having ready a ton of vendors she was already connected with that she knew we'd love even more than what we thought we wanted in a vendor (to boot, we had one vendor fallout issue and were left scrambling), to just being a really wonderful confidante. Her emotional support during our long engagement was as invaluable as all that pragmatic stuff. Plus, she's a ton of fun and we enjoyed every minute working with her. As for the actual wedding, our wedding came together better than we could have hoped and we were left being able to really take in the day and enjoy it. As my new husband said over and over during the day, "Is this really our wedding?" because he was so in awe with how beautiful it all was. All our visions a year and a half in the making and there it was in front of us because Angela was there to share our vision. I think this is also because if we had ideas that would work, she really tried to make it work. But, if she wasn't so sure an idea that we had would go over well, she was right there to diplomatically make sure we didn't do anything we'd regret, and end up brainstorming alternatives with us that were definitely way better. During the day of, she helped make sure that we could actually eat the food, drink the beverages, get water on a really hot day, go to the bathroom, enjoy the ceremony, and handle any other bumps that could have made things go less smoothly; in addition, Angela actually was a part of even making the other guests enjoy themselves more and apparently they had a great time with her. To comment more on her experience, she's a veteran in this field but she really welcomes new things/aspects she's never done before herself. For example, apparently we were the first couple with a dog in a wedding and she definitely made sure that our 120 pound bratty and stubborn ring bearer was an asset rather than a liability. That being said, even though she's definitely experienced, she treats your event with the freshness and passion for your event that you'd want it to have. So, yeah, unless you plan to have an Elvis impersonator in a Vegas drive-through do your wedding, hire a wedding planner/coordinator and hire Angela specifically. Thank you Angela, you were beyond a joy to work with!

Angela was a Godsend!! I met Angela at the Tacoma wedding expo and was immediately impressed with her knowledge and organization ideas. She gave me some post-its so I could tag all the vendor materials to remember who I loved. Of course I put one on Angela’s brochure!
Fast forward 6 months... I initially hired a friend of a friend to do my day of coordinating. I found myself telling her what to do and then stressing out that I’d have to do the same thing on my wedding day. I didn’t need that stress!
I reached out to Angela in a panic 3 months before the wedding, hoping and praying she was still available for my wedding date. Thank God she was!! I met with her and was immediately put at ease with her knowledge and experience! Everything I worried over she said, “ Don’t worry! You have me now!”. I booked her that day and never looked back!
Angela doesn’t do “day of coordinating”. She does “month of coordinating” and boy, did I get my money worth! She was always available via text or email, she sent me reminders (even after the wedding!!), gave me vendor names, and so much more!! Honestly, she is worth wayyyyy more than what she charges.
Thank you Angela for making my day perfect. You kept us on time (which is hard for me) and I never even had to worry about anything the whole day!! You even found my wedding shoes that got lost in the shuffle with all the decor (which still, to this day I don’t know where they were!). I probably would’ve went shoeless without you. Thank you so much, Angela. We will be forever grateful!!!
Blue Wings Events saved us money, stress, time and most of all gave us peace of mind!
My husband and I pride ourselves in being frugal/thrifty/sensible spenders. After we had gotten engaged, we set a budget and immediately started looking into "Weddings under $____" and "How to throw a wedding without breaking the bank" etc. No blogs or articles I found included hiring a wedding planner. Funny thing is, I'm positive that we couldn't have had the beautiful wedding we did, and still come in under the budget we set, without Angela's help.
With each of us being one of 5 children (a.k.a. large families on both sides) we feared there was no way we could successfully include everyone who was important to us and not break the bank. Angela managed to find us the best venue for our needs and came up with a ceremony and reception schedule that allowed us to celebrate with both family and friends, while still making everything feel intimate.
She was there every step of the way, from finding vendors, coming up with decoration and style ideas, and getting a wedding dress that made me feel like a million bucks (without spending a million bucks) to helping create our menu, keeping us on track with our timeline activities and reminding us that everything was not only going to be okay, but was going to be great.
I was so grateful to be able to call her when I was stressed or anxious, to be able to ask her about all of my "supposed to's" and have her confirm what I did and didn't need to worry about, and to trust that she would help make my day everything I hoped for.
Last but not least, day of coordination was a must for us. Angela and Michele made everything go so smoothly from our ceremony through our brunch, into our evening party reception that we were truly able to be our own guests. I can't thank either of them enough for the wonderful memories I have of one of the least stressful, most beautiful and happy days of my life.
If you're getting married, you owe it to yourself to let Blue Wings work their magic for you!
Angela and her Blue Wings Events staff really helped make our wedding and the whole wedding process amazing. She was always upfront and straightforward with her recommendations and estimates. Anytime I had questions, concerns or panicky moments, she was always available to help and reassure me. Even with having other clients, Angela made me feel like a priority. She helped us choose each of our vendors and even suggested an awesome dance instructor, who we want to continue taking lessons from!
On our wedding day, it was a relief knowing that Angela was taking care of the details and scheduling. All I had to do was show up and enjoy our wonderful day!
My advice is if you think you can handle your wedding by yourself, you’re probably wrong. And if you’re one of the rare people that can, you’re going to be so stressed out you won’t be having the fun you deserve on your wedding day. The help of Blue Wings was worth every single penny. Blue Wings was a great company to plan our special day with. They have a variety of packages and helped us decide what best suited our needs. We're procrastinators so we gave Angela free reign to call, text, e-mail, and nag us to meet our deadlines and she did! She'd grab dinner with us before Sounders games, call us during our layovers at airports, or have full texting conversations when we couldn't make time to talk. We live an hour and a half apart and that was never an issue, she’d drive wherever we wanted to meet. Before meeting her I didn’t know half of the stuff that I needed to plan for. She educated me and had everything in an organized fashion and conquered one thing at a time. I was indifferent on almost all things related to décor and Angela was a life saver in this aspect. She’d send me ideas for center pieces, flower arrangements, table numbers, seating charts – you name it. She was comfortable to work with so I had no problem saying I hate this idea, that’s ugly, or my favorite – I am NOT paying that much! She worked with me to find ways to make things classy and also not break my budget. Angela was committed to making sure our day was as smooth as it possible. I had a decoration emergency and she rushed out and bought something to fix it with her own money and spared me from ever knowing anything went wrong. It wasn’t until a couple months later we were reminiscing and she told me the story. She not only takes pride in her work but she genuinely cares that you have the best wedding.
We had a three day camping destination wedding, sound like a lot of planning? Well it was and we couldn't have done it without the knowledge and professionalism of Angela. We worked with her for almost a full year to get everything right, and let me tell you it was amazing!! Perfect!! She was at the venue before everyone was awake and moving and she didn't leave until all our guests were tucked in for the night. Angela and her assistant Michelle were amazing! If you need a full on wedding planner or just day of coordinating Blue Wings Events is the way to go.

I highly recommend Blue Wings Wedding & Events. Angela was amazing ! My daughter had her wedding at the Kitsap Memorial State Park in August 2016. Angela is such a wonderful wedding planner that it was basically worry free. As being mother-of-the-bride, you usually have to worry about everything. Throughout the planning process, Angela was attentive, organized and resourceful. She helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources to keep my daughter and now son-in-law on track for their big day. She took the reigns on their rehearsal day and made sure all of the wedding party knew exactly what they were doing, and made it fun and enjoyable throughout. On my daughters wedding day, I knew that I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Angela was there to make sure everything was perfect with every little detail through every step of the way. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for Angela being part of our daughters special day. We will definitely have her plan our second daughters wedding in the near future. We couldn't have done it without her.
