Red's Roadhouse

Booked this venue a few months back for my wedding in October of this year (without first reading the reviews)... I will save you a LONG story and just tell you that I have last minute cancelled this venue and found a new venue. Save yourself the trouble and find another wedding venue!! Listen to the bad reviews!

ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL!!!!! Lisa was amazing to work with and catered our big day to our every need. Our wedding went smoothly with no hiccups and as the bride and groom we were able to really enjoy our reception with all of our family and friends in the open atmosphere Red's provides. We had our fairy tale wedding thanks to Red's!!

I had booked my wedding at Reds Roadhouse and ended up having to cancel and find a new venue a month before our wedding. Initially, when we booked our wedding Red's was still operating as a bar/restaurant. We were told that if we held our wedding during the day we would avoid having anyone else in the venue during our wedding due to the fact they previously didn't even open until 5pm. They then became a full time event venue and shut down the restaurant portion and started changing things which is when the problems started for us. We were originally the very first people to book an event on the date we chose and the fee was MUCH lower than what they raised it to later on after they decided to do weddings full time. I think the fact that we weren't paying as much as the other people who booked later on after us were is part of the reason we were treated so poorly going forward and why the things we were told we had the use of were given to brides who paid the higher fees. Some examples, we paid for a private bar in our room. The owner then decided that instead of going to that trouble she just wanted to open the main bar in a different room and have all the events share it that were going on the same day. After promising me I had use of the bridal and groom suites since I was the first person booked and my event started first that was given to a bride who was having her event over 6 hours AFTER my event would have ended who was booked in a bigger room. Then came the fact the owner physically scratched out things in our signed contract and wrote in new things that fit her needs. Oh, and she added on an extra $1000 after we had been paid in full in months and when I told her the events manager never mentioned anything about a $5 per head outside catering fee she told me I was a liar. This is all a month before my wedding. Lisa was a nightmare to work with and I really truly hope this helps other brides.

The good: easy to work with, staff very friendly and helpful, minimal decorations needed because there is so much awesome decor already in each of the themed rooms, they provide the food/drinks/linens/tables/chairs/silverware, very flexible and will do basically whatever you ask, prompt in getting back to you when you have questions. The not so good: We were disappointed with the food we chose, and tasting beforehand is not an option. We had the fajita bar and it was average: the meat was dry and not seasoned well, the tortillas were not freshly made. We had queso dip for one of our appetizers and it was bland. I wished we would have paid the $5 fee per person and used an outside caterer. The cook told us at the end of the night this was his first time doing fajitas. The air conditioning system does not compensate for how large the rooms are. The garage room (where we had our ceremony) was extremely hot - sweat was running down my forehead while saying my vows. Same with the bridal dressing area - it was very warm as well. My guests were uncomfortably warm throughout the night.

Amazing venue. Went above and beyond for our wedding. Highly recommend this gorgeous place!

My daughter was married in June and we had her Bridal shower and wedding reception at Red's Roadhouse. My daughter's theme was rustic chic. Red's staff was amazing! They handled everything for us and we were able to relax and enjoy. The food was superb. I am still hearing from our guests how perfect the venue was! I really can not say enough about Red's Roadhouse! It was PERFECTION!!!! I highly recommend this venue.
