the wedding (which is important of course), kind, and easy going.
We can not say enough good things about John and his amazing employees they made our visions come to life they caught everything we wanted, answered all of our questions and concer...
ns, kept us on track, were helpful in every way possible nothing but good things to say and can't say enough. Our pictures are amazing, everyone talked about how much fun the photo booth was, the music was spot on, the MC did a great job with introductions and keeping things live the entire night. All of our guests are still talking about how amazing our pictures are and how great everything was. We will definitely be using them again for the next big even we have.
If I could give negative stars I would! We hired them because the company I was looking at for wedding planning recommended them. Worst choice I could make.
My husband and I don’t...
look at all like ourselves in the pictures because Jon does not know his camera enough to change setting and camera lenses when he should. None of the photos are taken with the slightest bit of artistic knowledge. People in background, no proper adjustment, all group photos taken standing between chairs looking into the sun, I don’t even have a single photo of the tables I worked so hard on. My officiant stepped completely behind a tree for our first kiss, but Jon moved with her to the point she is still behind us in every photo trying to get out of the way.
The back up photographer had to repeatedly be told “look maybe that moment should be captured” by my bridal party because she was standing around playing with her hair. Additionally she is in the background of every photo for our first look. Dressed in a tshirt and what looks like sweatpants.
The DJ did not loop the recessional song. So right before I walk down the aisle the YouTuber comes on to plug his channel. This is DJ blah blah… The recession was timed to the second of when the song should start. I provided Jon with exact timing, every number because it was the big moment for our kiss. They chose a random moment and completely through it all off.
The video is a tripod parked in front of the ceremony and head table. A wedding video can’t even be made of the footage because they just set up a tripod and walked away. No movement, no guests coming in, no dancing, he is in the background of every photo for the special dances, nothing of my dress or the inside of the venue. Nothing worth my money. And better yet I ask for all the raw footage so we could try to have a video made and Jon tried to get MORE money out of me!!
I bought enough sparklers for the bridal party and immediate family. I told Jon this and then also told the MC I will go get the people that I want in these photos. He said okay, then turned around and announced for everyone to go outside! Only about half my guests had sparklers and it became so awkward I have 2 pictures of it because my husband and I were answering questions about the lack of sparklers instead. Because of the way it was announce half the guests left because they thought we were leaving.
I had a photo booth that did not get signs or an announcement so I have a grand total of 10 photo booth pics because no one knew I had one at all. This was not announced because Jon was mad that I wanted it on the balcony so he had to climb one flight of stairs.
I would not and do not recommend a single part of their service. They ruined so much of my wedding day.

taken, even grabbing us to take a photo with the sunset behind us. The value of their packages can't be beat. I really wanted video from the start of planning our wedding, but other places had really high costs. Their online forms for submitting music and photo choices are easy to navigate, they made things go smoothly. I couldn't give them higher recommendation!

much fun and our guests loved it! We look forward to keeping the book of pictures to remind ourselves how much fun it was!
The DJ and MC were PERFECT!! When plans had to change last second they made it work and kept everything running smoothly!!
We're so excited to see the video and pictures of our wedding! If we wanted a certain picture or event filmed, they were right on top of it! Making sure we captured every moment that we could possibly want.
If I had to do it all over again, I would no doubt pick these wonderful people to do it!! Thank you so much!

efore the reception to nail down timing and the logistics of setting up their equipment. During the reception, John and Tyler were the best of DJs—they were professional, fun, and kept the people engaged and dancing the night away!
This was a great experience and was easy through the entire process. 10/10 recommend.
Easy to work with, great package deal that took care of just about everything!

d no question was left unanswered. We had our engagement photos done through Reflections as well and they turned out great!! The day of our wedding, John and his crew were incredibly well prepared, professional and covered every request we had. We got the DJ, photographer, videographer and photo booth collection. ABSOLUTELY worth it. We also got our pictures back within days of our wedding. I don’t plan on getting married again but if I have another huge event like this I will certainly use them again! Thank you Reflections for everything!

ur wedding party was running a little behind. John's assistant was amazing and super helpful! She helped me carry my dress around and helped tell me when to walk down the aisle. Honestly I felt like she was there for me even more than our venue's event coordinator. She truly was super helpful! Tyler, our videographer, was very down to earth and made it so we felt more comfortable speaking in front of the camera. Our emcee did a great job making all the announcements we wanted throughout the night. Overall, we were very pleased with our service and would highly recommend this company to anyone! It was especially convenient to be able to book several services in a bundle deal within a single company to help us to save money and time. Their workers are very kind and personable and helped to make our day very special.
John Cover and Reflections Event Group was absolutely perfect and they made our day significantly better than it would have been otherwise. I could not have asked for a better team...
. They were easy to work, great attitudes, and blended in with the crowd. Their professionalism and expertise made all the difference from coaching us for the pictures and ideas for different shots, the DJ and emcee really bringing the party to life and the videographer knowing exactly what to capture and when. They even made up for other areas of mistake like seamlessly restarting the song everyone walked in to since our timing was off so I (the bride) wasn't walking in to silence. I knew from the beginning, they were the right group to hire as John was well involved and invested in the planning process and I had several long phone calls with him leading up to the wedding. We got so many compliments from our friends and family for them. I can't recommend them enough.
Loved the video. It captured the day Beautifully!

I would recommend reflections event group to anyone looking for a reasonably priced videographer. I only used there videographer services and I have nothing but good things to say....
They were prompt, easy to work with and affordable. I love the video they have made for me and I am so happy with my decision to book them for my wedding!

I'm sorry for any names I can't remember, loved everyone, including the guy who took our thank you video & let me know the painted bubble bottles were awesome, thank you to everyone on the Reflections time for making our day even more beautiful!

provided me with a season photographer that was very patient and kind. He was detailed with every picture that he took on my special day. The dj and Mc were awesome. From the music I requested for certain events during the wedding they followed that style through out the evening and I love it.
We used Reflections Event Group as our wedding photographer. Greg did a great job--he communicated with us before hand, arrived on time, and took a ton of staged and candid photos....
He covered a lot of ground and various angles, and we got our pictures (electronic copies on a thumb drive) within a week.

Great value, great service, great people!
We were recommended this vendor by a friend and I can see why! They were easy to work with and had great prices! They stuck with our music choices and everyone had a great time!
My wife and I would highly recommend Reflections for your DJ and photobooth needs. The staff was great to work with and we were extremely pleased with how the day turned out, thank...
s to their hard work.
As for the DJ, the planning process couldn't be easier, and the whole crew at Reflections did all they could to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
The staff for the photobooth went well above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was perfect. We had kind of a complicated guest book set up involving prints from our guests in the photbooth. The attendant exceeded all of our expectations in putting that guest book together throughout the evening. It was an amazing final result, and we are so, so grateful.
The prices are very reasonable, the service is exceptional and we are very pleased with every detail to which they attended on our big day.
We can't speak to Reflections' other services because we had other vendors, but we can say you will miss out for your DJ and photobooth services if you don't give Reflections a call.
Hi John!
Bob and I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know how much we enjoyed everything on Saturday. We couldn't have been happier with your photography and the DJ...
was wonderful (we kept hearing that from family and friends, too!), and it was so great to have the emcee to make sure things ran smoothly. We were both able to get into the photobooth just one time, but it seemed to be pretty busy the whole time! Thank you so much for everything, you were a big part in making our day so special and enjoyable!

Very friendly! Got my video within a couple of days
We had a great experience with Reflection Events Group. We used their photography/DJ/photobooth package for our 11/7/15 wedding. We just got our wedding photos back and they are fa...
ntastic! They took just under 1000 photos so lots to choose from. The photographer got all of the shots I asked for plus more. At the wedding, the DJ was great! We never had an empty dance floor which was exactly what I wanted. Also, the photo booth was a hit as well! We were not planning on using a photo booth but decided to because it was part of a package. I am so glad we did because our guests loved it and we ended up using those photos as our guest book! Overall, the quality of the services and the price we got them for was excellent! We would use them again!

rs charge for just one person. Andy was our MC and he was incredibly personable and accommodating all night long. The planning process was incredibly easy - there was an online form to fill out with all the important details such as names, songs for specific events, etc. The DJ and MC kept people on the dance floor all night long and everyone had a great time.
I was excited to use Reflections Event Group at first and they were great prior to our wedding process. The Emcee was great at our wedding and he did a wonderful job. Our videograp...
her got a lot of people to talk on camera and got a lot of coverage, however our DJ was absolutely awful. He completely messed up my father-daughter song and let our songs go on for FAR too long. He also played songs on our DO NOT PLAY list. When I let John know about this he said it was no big deal and that is the "human quality" of his business. He did not apologize and felt it was okay for his DJ to do such a poor job and even justified his DJ messing up my song with my dad by saying he, himself, had done that in the past at other weddings, which to me is NOT okay. I also let John know I was not impressed with our wedding video. They did get it back to us within a week, BUT there was little to no editing done. There was hardly any transitions between shots, or at least not ones of a professional standard. They even had video of my family packing up after my wedding and picking stuff up around my venue, which should not be included on a wedding video. When I asked John if we could go over some of the editing together so it was more to my liking he refused to. He said he did quality work and he felt it looked fine since he did the editing himself. I told him I did not like the quality of the editing and he referenced me to buy another video package for an extra $200. I was not about to give this company one more dollar for the poor quality product they give their brides and grooms. I would strongly warn against going with this company if you were considering them. Pay they extra few hundred dollars for a better quality video and dj service.
We choose this company because they came highly recommended from a family friend who had recently used them for their wedding.
What I liked about this group:
-They provided both ...
a DJ and and emcee for the evening. This was nice because the booth was never left unattended.
-Staff members were very friendly and seemed comfortable in their positions.
What I didn't like about this group:
-They needed an additional song for our entrance and didn't ask either myself (bride) or the groom for a specific song. They played what they wanted which caused the groom and I to stop mid entrance and look at each other because we thought we had entered at the wrong time.
-We were very specific in the kind of music we wanted them to play during cocktail hour (Rat Pack type music). We confirmed before the wedding that this would be no problem. This is not the music type that was played - they played more like slow jazz and dentist office music (barf).
Both of those things were brought to the companies attention after the event and they were apologetic but it can't change how the night went unfortunately.
John was great to work with, and made sure I had exactly what i wanted while staying within my budget. Everyone had a blast with the photo booth . Great quality and the attendant w...
orking the booth was very sweet. Fun props as well.
The DJ and emcee were very nice and the owner of the company was amazing.

g process! He was always very prompt with responding to emails, which I truly appreciated (it takes away some of the wedding planning stress). One thing that I did not like was that I did not get to meet our DJ in person before the wedding. I think that this is just how the company operates. However, John had an hour long phone call with us and thoroughly discussed all the event details. And our wedding day went off perfectly! Our dance floor was packed the entire time! People also loved the photo booth! We had a CD of pictures from the photo booth waiting for us when we returned from our honeymoon. Looking through all the pictures was such a fun way to reminisce about the wedding.
We were pretty satisfied with Reflections. I worked with John Cover, who was very nice and made the process of setting up the details very easy. My only hesitation in booking them ...
is that they are very "hands off" - by that I mean they didn't give me many opportunities to discuss our desires for our reception. They mail you a packet to fill out, where you tell them names, songs, order of the reception... literally everything that they would need to know. They ask you to mail it to them no later than 30 days before the wedding. First off all, if you are running your company based on MAILING documents and not electronic copies, then you seriously need to get with the program. Completely outdated. Secondly, they basically said "just send in this packet and we'll see you at the wedding." No meeting, no phone conversation with the emcee or DJ - I'm sorry, but I need to physically speak with the person who I am trusting the entire success of my reception to. I expressed this to John and he did happily put me in touch with our emcee, Andy Armstrong, who was very friendly and cooperative over the phone.
At the actual reception, things were fairly smooth but there were a couple of glitches. A couple of times, a song played about 30 second and then it just randomly started over. So I don't know if they didn't check their files or what. Luckily it wasn't during the first dance or other signature dance - although, I had given the emcee a note that there was one special song I wanted him to play for my brother and I, and we planned to form a dance circle at that point and kick off the silliness, and that song skipped and started over - total BUZZKILL. So I was not happy about that.
The other thing I was not happy about was the version of the University of Notre Dame fight song they downloaded. The version they played had this intro with the PA announcer (as if it were actually from a football game) instead of just the straight up version. So before all my friends and I could actually get into the spirit of cheering along to our fight song, we had to listen to this announcer and intro music first, which again killed the mood.
I won't say that I wouldn't recommend them, because overall they did do a good job, but those couple of flub-ups were pretty major to me, so if you book them, make sure to double check the versions of the songs they have downloaded, especially if it is a unique song.
