Our wedding day at Regatta Inn was perfect. Shanika (the site/events manager) was so kind and friendly, she went above and beyond to ensure our day was beautiful and seamless. She ...
even sent us home with a handwritten card and gift! She was quick to respond to correspondence and helped us with our vision.
The site was $5,000 to secure. This cost comes with nothing else but the concrete slab (and cornhole and tiki torches) for the event. For example, no hotel room, no storage room, no lighting, no tent, no getting ready space). The staff did help us store our wedding cakes in their fridges (we had 5 small cakes, instead of 1 big one so bear that in mind for storage purposes).
When adding the final tallies up, it's 5,000 for the space, plus another 3,000 for the tent, 2,000 for tables, chairs, linens and delivery/fees etc. We chose this venue because 5,000 was relatively cheaper than other venues in the areas, but adding up all those costs for the other things you need to bring in, it pretty much evens out. Perhaps in the future Regatta Inn can incorporate more into their service. Despite this, the venue was perfect for what we needed for a small intimate wedding.
Overall: Stunning spot for a sunset on your special day, Shanika made us feel incredibly welcomed and special, our guests had a great time and enjoyed the location
We recently got married at the Regatta Inn and had THE BEST experience. The team was top-notch and so lovely to work with. The venue is so special. We went the way of a buy-out and...
it was amazing having our friends on site with us. The Regatta Inn is 10/10 !!!
We are so grateful we get to have the Regatta Inn as a special place in our lives. We are local to the area and spend a lot of time on Folly, so getting the Regatta Inn for our wed...
ding felt so right. We rented out the entire Inn for us, wedding party, and some family members and it was awesome. I did use an outside Planner / Day of Coordinator, we did not use White Pearl Ventures (the group connected to the Inn). We had many friends know of the space, but never attend an event there and they were pumped. It did not disappoint. Beautiful location! Easy accommodations. Kind and laid back team members. I've been telling everyone to have a little stay-cation at the Regatta Inn. Rooms are nice (some updates needed), views incredible, happy hour / breakfast is an awesome touch. It was recently bought by a local group I believe, so I am hoping they keep up the laid back and high quality character this place has.
We rented the entire Inn for our wedding weekend and would do it all over! Such a nice and intimate setting and the staff at Regatta were so helpful! Would recommend if you have a ...
lot of guest traveling in and you want to make a whole weekend out of it! Beautiful venue
We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Regatta Inn!! The staff there are always so friendly and helpful, and my bridesmaids and I were able to basically takeover the entire ...
inn for the whole weekend with no questions asked. The setting there is so beautiful, and the rooms are beyond comfortable. The only downfall of this venue is that nothing is included other than the space, and the initial rental cost of the space is pretty high. So if you have a big group, it does get pretty pricey, pretty quickly. With that being said, I'd still do it all again without changing a thing! We loved it there and can't wait to come stay again in our future!! :)
The venue is breathtaking. The greens of the lowland, the blues of the water and endless sky... and the sunset. Truly beautiful.
The style and feel of the Regatta was ideal. N...
autical yet southern charmer. The rooms were great and the rooftop provided a wonderful after party.
The nautical backdrop was excellent for the ceremony. We did not rent tents, we utilized the downstairs outdoor area for our reception of 75 members. There was enough room for tables and dancing. We rented fans with mysters which were AMAZING and saved us from the heat.
You will not find a more amazing sunsey on Folly Beach. The marina bar was a great after party location.
We stayed a few times at the Regatta prior to the wedding (during the planning phase). The site wedding coordinator was very responsive to requests and provided feedback throughout the planning phase. We quiclly became fond of the staff member Nicki; she was a complete pleasure to work with. Nicki was friendly and provided that bed and breakfast feel; she was very welcoming.
Unfortunately the day of the ceremony the other staff member Allie was overheard talking bad about the groom . . .however Allie's bad attitude did not wreck our stay.
We rented the entire inn (all 10 guest rooms + Maria Camila and Grant Bay) for our wedding. Carly and the entire staff at the Regatta were absolutely wonderful! The views are unbea...
table, the rooms are comfortable, and it is tucked away just enough to be out of the main craziness of Folly. We are so thankful we chose the Regatta and will absolutely be back, maybe for our 1 year ;)
