Rehoboth Beach Country Club

We were married on October 8, 2016. We had initially picked this venue for its beautiful outdoor ceremony site. However, on the day of the ceremony it rained all day and we had to move the wedding indoors. Despite not being outside, the staff and vendors made the ceremony absolutely beautiful, and I honestly forgot that it wasn't our original plan. Ralucka and C and the rest of the staff were so friendly and very responsive, and put us at ease leading up to and on the day of the wedding. And the food was absolutely delicious (and the drinks strong haha). I would HIGHLY recommend this site to anyone. We could not have asked for a more magical day.

I recently got married at Rehoboth Beach Country Club this past weekend. The place is absolutely beautiful and we had perfect weather! Leading up to my wedding there was a change in our contact person, but it worked out ok. Our new contact was always quick to answer any of my questions and quickly replied to emails and many changes I ended up having. Our wedding was run very smoothly and they were great to work with. The only item that I wish could have been changed a little was more coordination between the country club and my DJ. We had a DJ who had never been to the country club before and I expected a bit more coordination between the two vendors. There were a few other small logistical items that could have been fixed, but overall I was very pleased with my wedding and the club.

We had our wedding reception at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club (RBCC) in July 2016. We can't say enough about the wonderful job RBCC did with our reception. The setting is gorgeous overlooking the Chesapeake Bay and on the "19th" hole. Cici and Koko were great at accommodating our requests. We only had one issue and that was since it was such a hot day and we wanted to take photos on the dock (which they let you do), we wanted our parents who are older, to sit under the awning until the photographer arrived to take the family photos on the dock. We were told when we arrived that people could wait under the awning but when we went into the club, the staff instructed us that non-members had to wait outside in the sun. We decided to change our schedule and take the photos later to avoid any issues with the heat. The staff upstairs quickly adjusted to start the reception sooner. They were very attentive the whole time. The food was fabulous - even our culinary experts raved about the food, service and setting, We could not have asked for anything better! Thank you Koko, Cici and all the RBCC staff who made our wedding reception a wonderful and memorable experience.

Our wedding was at the end of June 2016 and I was thrilled with every single experience leading up to the wedding as well as on the day of. KoKo was FIRST CLASS and I cannot say enough good things about her as their new event manager on staff. She made the planning process easy and seamless as a bride especially as I was planning the wedding abroad. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and overall great to work with. I will say that the actual venue itself should consider upgrades given the high price tag for renting.. for example, the china is dingy - not white, more of a dirty cream color, and chairs are out of date. We ended up renting and bringing in all of these items which added to our overall bill (and a 20% additional fee from RBCC). The food was amazing. Absolutely delicious. You cannot go wrong with the RBCC crab cakes and the steak was cooked perfectly. All of our guests were raving about the food. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend RBCC and am very pleased with how our wedding turned out. THANK YOU to Koko and the entire staff at RBCC for being AMAZING!

We were incredibly pleased with our wedding day! The attention to detail was very impressive. We had such a good time at our tasting all the way through to the day of. The food was excellent and the bar tenders were fantastic! Our wedding coordinator was great to work with and helped with lining up our additional vendors. It was the most beautiful day in Sept and our guest absolutely enjoyed the views and the service. So glad we selected RBCC for our reception! We couldn't be happier!

I had my Bridal Shower in July at RBCC and it was PERFECT! We had Rose, chocolate covered strawberries and the attention to detail was great. We held the shower in a room overlooking the bay and my guests had a great time. Food was delicious, staff was wonderful and Cheryl was great to work with. Beautiful location, I highly recommend RBCC for an event!

Unfortunately, one of my biggest regrets about our wedding was choosing RBCC for our venue. Needless to say when choosing your venue, this is the biggest decision you are making for your wedding. We thought RBCC was the perfect choice for us. Beautiful scenery right on the bay with a gorgeous ballroom and an amazing wedding coordinator. They increased the prices by 30% after signing the contract. (a total of 3k for us). Although the contract stated menu prices subject to change, they still broke the contract by making everything al carte instead of keeping the packages the same with food and open bar. I was also told that if we wanted certain lights they would be $350. I had stated I did not like them, two days before the wedding I arrive and they were still hanging. I was then told they would be $350 to have them removed. Due to a storm during our wedding, I was told if I wanted our wedding in the ballroom with an aisle, my groomsmen and male guests would have to move the chairs because they did not have the staff to do that. If you are going to charge premier venue prices ($150 a plate), you should be able to accommodate. This was ridiculous to make my guests move chairs and tables. I was pulled off the dance floor to be told the bar was closing, when we still had 30 mins left. (due to the weather, we had to push back the wedding 30 mins, Cheryl promised this would not be a problem). This caused myself and my guests to become very upset. This should not have happened on our wedding day. Although, Cheryl is amazing at what she does. She does not belong working at this type of establishment. Even though she is amazing, it will soon start to reflect upon her because she has no say in sticking up for her couples. I was also sent a $12 bill after the wedding. Really? Maybe they can deduct this from the $500 outdoor ceremony fee we were charged or the $3k price increase. So Brides, don't be tempted by how pretty this venue is, you can find better service elsewhere.

We love the view, but hated the service. We were very disappointed when prices were raised after we signed our contract. We were initially told we wouldn't have to pay the increased fees, but then were forced to. We were denied a tasting. We were asked to pay extra for lights that were already hung up. The food was mediocre. We felt as if we paid prices worthy of a country club, but were not given services commensurate with the cost. The venue is gorgeous and we had a beautiful wedding. I just wish the process had been facilitated more respectfully.

From the beginning this venue fit us perfectly. We were so excited and thrilled that it also fit into our budget. We were notified less than a year before the wedding, almost 6 months after we had put a deposit down that the prices had increased via email and certain things we were promised were no longer available. At first this was very upsetting, to the point where we were considering other venues. We were lucky enough to have the staff at RBCC work with us to make everything as cost effective as possible, even with the large increase in price. Cheryl, the events coordinator goes above and beyond to make everything up until the day and throughout the day go perfectly smooth. The best things in life don't always come easy from start to finish, but the end result of our big day was more perfect than any amount of money could buy. We are so happy we stuck through everything as our wedding at RBCC was more perfect that we could have ever imagined.

DO NOT TRUST THIS VENDOR! We had planned our spring 2015 wedding in spring 2014 with the RBCC, paid our deposit and were so excited to have such an amazing and beautiful venue with such a great reputation at such a reasonable price. Mind you, at the time we signed the contract there was ONE package, and prices don't get locked in until closer to the event due to food cost and what food you choose. That one package was pretty much all inclusive, wine with dinner, open bar with brands that didn't need upgrading, champagne toast etc. there was a ceremony fee and a chair set up fee per chair but that was common with the other places we looked too. The coordinator didn't anticipate the price going up more than $5. We were okay with those estimations. 10/11/14 was when our tasting was scheduled, I emailed the wedding coordinator with our menu options for the tasting and the response I got was "we have some news." Suddenly our "all inclusive" dream venue was an "a la carte" nightmare. To get the comparable package we had planned, we were looking at a $40 increase pp, taking us out of our budget. They aren't doing tastings anymore either, however since ours was already planned they honored it. We went for our tasting (new menu was mediocre) and met with the coordinator where I heard her being prepped by her manager that "prices may still change." They made some changes to their updates and were willing to lock us in at $130 pp but at that point, I no longer had that fuzzy feeling about the venue and I felt our trust was broken, nothing could repair that! So we sent our certified letter canceling our event and got our deposit back, How they can make such drastic changes and just say its effective immediately despite contracts being signed is beyond me. I need to trust the people I am paying to make my day special, every bride does. The simple fact they could do that proves them untrustworthy. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS VENDOR

Do not use this wedding venue! We just received an email notifying us that the cost per person has been increased by at least 30 dollars additional per head so now 155 per person!!!!! My fiancé and I are devastated... We aren't going to have a honeymoon now if we stay with this venue as we didn't allocate for this huge price increase. :(

This place is GORGEOUS AND WONDERFUL!!! Cheryl is AMAZING!!! Her staff is wonderful! Everything ran very smooth. Food was wonderful! Everything was perfect!!!

My fiancee and I love the beach and wanted to be married by the water. RBCC had a beautiful outdoor space and a ballroom with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. The banquet manager has her own system of doing things and was very helpful. My mom is an event planner so we pushed RBCC a bit, and they were flexible and met all of our needs, wants and desires.

The Country Club is a perfect wedding venue. The second floor banquet room has an open layout, a huge bar, and has tons of large windows that overlook the bay. Our ceremony was outside next to the pier and next to the bay. On top of that, Cheryl, the event manager, is simply the most helpful, responsive, and wonderful person. I wish I could relive the night every weekend!

Cheryl Romano, the banquet coordination at RBCC is absolutely the best! She is the kindest, warm-hearted person you will ever met! She works very hard to give the bride just what she imagines! The food, service, just everything was amazing. Highly recommend having your ceremony along the water behind the country club, absolutely amazing!

I had my ceremony & reception at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. It was the perfect venue. Cheryl (the banquet coordinator) was wonderful-always accessible, patient, and made our day go off perfectly. We planned to have the ceremony outdoors on the golf course facing the bay, but when rain came in we switched it to the cocktail (bay view) room. Although it was not our first choice, it was perfect. Our guests were comfortable, the decor was beautiful. The food was incredible-all of the guests enjoyed it. We had the prime rib & salmon. Also, the staff was incredible and willing to accommodate every want or need for our guests & wedding party. I would highly recommend this venue if you want a beautiful, classy, bay front wedding in the Rehoboth Beach area.
