Owned and operated by the Elias family for over four decades, this spectacular venue can cater to between 50 to 500 guests. Renaissance at the Gables has a proven track record in the wedding industry. They believe that every wedding is a unique occasion and strive to provide each couple with an array of options when planning their special day. Their core beliefs of quality, elegance, and consistency have stood the test of time and they pride themselves on the ability to exceed expectations. The dedicated wedding planning team will help with everything from choosing the right menu selections to designing the perfect decorations and they are on hand to guide clients through every step of the process. There is even an indoor and outdoor chapel available for onsite ceremonies with theater seating for 500 guests.
Renaissance at the Gables offers a whole host of packages that can be customized to meet the needs of each client. Catering is offered in-house by a team of master chefs but couples are also free to use external caterers if that is their preference. The team can provide event furniture if desired and they have a huge selection of Chiavari chairs in a variety of colors. Photography, lighting, and floral arrangements are also available in-house, and they can even arrange wedding transportation on the big day with a selection of limousines to choose from. This magnificent venue also boasts a self-contained state-of-the-art nightclub where newlyweds and guests can party into the small hours of the morning.

BOOK WITH ROSE! She’s stellar.
Her experience allowed her to navigate our needs perfectly. She not only met them, she used her expertise to make sure we were making informed decisions.
She was easy to communicate with, energy is immaculate and guess what else… she actually loves her customers. 10/10 recommend and make sure you do it with Rose… no one else even comes close to Rose. She’s awesome!!!!

We had a great experience with Renaissance!! The service was great and attentive, the facilities were great, and many people said the food was some of the best they’ve ever had (not that my wife and I ended up eating lol). The only small issue was the microphone during the speeches cut in and out a few times.

I have Ickes the absolute best venue I could have ever chosen. Rose is the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She helped me plan my vision perfectly. I had my ceremony and reception at this beautiful location and if given to option to choose again I still chose this venue. Staff was amazing and accommodating to every situation that came up the day of. Bill the DJ executed all of my requests. My wedding was absolutely beautiful and perfect and could not have been accomplished without rose and her staff. Do not have doubts when booking this venue! It will be the best decision you ever make!!!

Great venue (my review is for their 8th st location) and team. They exceeded my expectations. Tony was an amazing photographer (pics came out beautiful 🤩) and helped me plan everything. His mom (I don’t remember her name now) was amazing too on the day prior and day of. My only regret was not getting their videographer Bc mine was poop lol! Flowers were beautiful, food was great, cake was yummy. I’d recommend the all inclusive package since it’s pretty stress free. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

If you are looking for the PERFECT VENUE, look no further!!!! This past weekend was MAGICAL!!!
Finding the "Perfect Venue" for every woman's MOST special day could be a very stressful task. But for us it was definitely a no brainer, I went to the place that 31 years ago made my PERFECT Wedding Day!!! I have done from my wedding, baby showers, first birthday parties, and now my daughter's wedding and every single time they delivered an AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE EVENT. From food, decor, flowers, photos, video, service, I promise they sure don't disappoint. Rose, Patti, Nancy, Carmen, and Tony my family is forever grateful for an AMAZING evening!
To EVERYONE from the staff at Renaissance Ballrooms my most heartfelt thanks for making the vision of our daughter's wedding day a reality!!! Can't wait to see the video and professional photos. Looking forward to many more parties with you guys. Highly recommend them!!!!

I have been a customer of Renaissance Ballroooms for years now. My wedding was at the Gables location on 4/26/14. It was truly everything I could have asked for while keeping within a decent budget. At the time of my wedding, we were saving to buy a house and amidst planning the wedding, got pregnant also. Tony and all the staff made my wedding day so perfect. I can’t say enough about them. They were patient, helped me to bring my vision to life and it was truly the best day ever. I got a complete package and everything from the photos to every last detail exceeded every expectation.
After my wedding, I have recommended them to several friends and I’ve also attended other events and I have yet to be disappointed. Recently, March 1, 2019, I assisted a friend with her retirement party at the 8 street location. Everything was perfect and I got to personally see the photo booth available through Eikonwynd. A beautiful addition to the event and it was truly a hit!
This is THE BEST venue in Miami. No matter the occasion, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll definitely get more than you bargained for in a decent budget.

So my wedding was hosted here at this fabulous banquet hall! Best service, happy guests, amazing food! Wouldn't have imagined to have it at any where else! The staff catered to all of my bride-zilla needs. I definitely see a baby shower in the future being hosted at this same place!

All I can say is simply wow. Renaissance at the Gables is truly a one of a kind prestigious venue. With its incredible professional staff, the beautifully decored building, and the outstanding food. I can truly say the venue made my wedding ceremony and reception the place to be. The staff at this location made the whole experience delightful and informative. With their knowledge, my wife and I were able to make key decisions that made our once in a lifetime event, memorable. Christian, Tony, and Rose came highly recommended by one of my co-workers who also did their wedding with this venue as well. I was able to receive assistance from each one of them in different ways which were extremely helpful. My wife and I found all three of them to be outgoing and hilarious which definitely eased the stress of wedding planning. The beautiful decored building was spectacular! This company has not only one, but two venues to choose from. I was informed of the classy 8th Street location was also an option to choose but after visiting both locations, my wife and I thought the Gables location fit our needs best. The two-story venue at the gables was a perfect fit. We had our ceremony downstairs with a beautiful setup. The reception was upstairs with a cocktail hour. I cannot implement how beautiful and amazing experience it was. Thanks to Renaissance Premium Venues, I can truly say that this place comes highly recommended by me.

I am the mother of the groom and I have no words besides... Outstanding service by the sales team at Renaissance. This wedding could have not come out the say it did without them. Everything up to the food, the Dj, the Waiters was absolutely stunning. Thank you so much again Rose and Tony for making my son's wedding one to remember Forever!

Tony and his team did and amazing job in making my daughters Quinces an ever lasting memory for her and her guest. He even handled the photography and video. Great place to have an event and not worry about juggling vendors, there an ALL in ONE. I definitely recommend them.

We have used this facility for the past 5 years to host an annual banquet. From time of booking through the last dance of the night, the staff is friendly and professional. They allow us set-up time in order to make the place look spectacular for our event. Food, drinks and music are two thumbs up! I look forward to our event here every year.

Where do I start.. Let’s start with THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. Everything about the Renaissance is absolutely amazing! The waiters are very professional and attentive of verging going on in the party so the whole time I felt secure that everything was going perfect! The Dj was so incredibly amzing, he had everyone on their feet the whole night, and We cannot forget about how spectacular the food was as well!! This whole day would have not been possible without the amazing sales team at Renaissance, because of them and their amazing customer service I was able to experience my dream wedding!! Thank you Renaissance for such an amazing experience ❤️

My Wedding at the Renaissance Ballroms location was a HIT! Betty and Mike did a perfect job helping us plan our big day. The flowers, food, music, and just overall flow of everything from start to finish was perfect. They recommended Tony for our pictures and he did an amazing job. I literally decided to have a wedding ceremony and reception 35 days before my wedding date. Visiting Rennaisance at the Gables made my life easier and my wedding planning effortless. They handled everything from the decor to the wedding cake. They were so accommodating and ChaCha was a God send on my special day. I highly recommend them.

Renaissance at the Gables and it’s owner, Rose, did an AMAZING job with our wedding. We had our wedding reception at another venue but hired the Renaissance for our flowers and decoration. The flower arrangements were STUNNING. The prices were also very reasonable, something very difficult to find in Miami. We are very grateful to them for making our day so special!

When looking for place we knew the Renaissance was a family business and we liked that, we worked with Rose the owner which is really funny and a pleasure to sit a chat about the wedding with. She made sure everything we talked about became a reality for me and my now wife that day. Her nephew Tony took my pics and hes also a character. Were happy we went with them and they made us feel appreciated. Im looking forward to doing my baby shower at their other place.

I made an appointment to see the venue @ 5pm. I show up with my Fiancé no was there. At least a call would be nice to let us know you are not going to be at the office. I also call and left a message. Even a on the voicemail it says open from 11am to 6pm. Great customer service👎👎👎

I don’t know where to begin! This is a family owned and ran business, it’s a one stop shop! Rose is there to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Tony is your photographer and I absolutely LOVE him! Talk about having patience! The food, flowers, decor are absolutely beautiful! Our ceremony space was to die for! They definitely exceeded my expectations and made my dreams come to life!

To start, I am a very particular person that usually knows what I want and how I wanted and that is usually expensive! (That happens when you have good taste lol) but me and my Fiancé at the time where in a budget and wanted to stay close without compromising some of the must haves in the list. Tony with the Renaissance at the gables team allowed us to do just that, we purchased the Dream package and added some custom items down the road, but we literally put all our eggs in one basket! From cakes and flowers to photography and DJ/MC. Our wedding was a dream, everybody gave us great feedback even though we got married less than a week after hurricane Irma, Tony and Nancy (the must amazing florist) were in constant communication with me, providing all the updates from their vendors so I didn’t loose my mind. At the end everything came out more beautiful than expected and we are forever grateful. Make sure to check them out as your next event venue.

My now husband and I knew this was the place where we wanted to get married from the moment we first saw it. Everything exceeded our expectations. We were very happy with everything and highly recommend this venue. I had the fairytale wedding I always wanted.

Terrible service!! Their customer service was none existent. I would go to the venue to discuss the details of our wedding and when I finally was able to speak to them, the employees would be speaking to other clients or getting phone calls at the same time. After our wedding I contact them for our photobooth pictures and when I asked when the disk would be ready for pickup they responded "Oh you want an actual date" Seriously!! and when I went to pickup the disk I still had to wait an HOUR! for them to do it.
If you are like me and are big on details, this is not the place for you....I wish I would of noticed in time to cancel and find another facility.

This was a great location. The food was great. The owner was at times helpful and at times forgetful. Make sure you have everything you want in your contract. I did not appreciate the fact that I reseved the venue a year in advance and the owner booked a party that gave the team only an hour to prepare my wedding. All in all everything came out nice.

My husband and I began looking for reception venues back in May 2014 for our January 2015 wedding. I fell in love with the decor at the Renaissance Ballroom in Coral Gables. We went for one (and only one appt) with the owner of the company. I don't quite remember her name but she was very arrogant and spoke flamboyantly. Since my husband and I were on a budget, I tried to negotiate with her for a Sunday wedding during low wedding season. She did include some things such as chibbarri chairs and fondant cake, but after some talk, she turned around to my then fiance and said, "Boy, she is a real bitch, how do you put up with her?"
For people who know me, I am a very soft spoken and educated person. That was a deal breaker for me. We also witnessed other young couples coming in to "make payments" and were made to wait and treated in this arrogant manner. This is a family owned business and the nephew is the photographer, etc. He was also a bit arrogant but at least had the decency to not insult prospective customers! lol!
These people offered a 4 hour reception (to include cocktail) with different prices on different days. They also required a 100 person minimum, so regardless of how many guests showed up, you would be charged for 100 people.
We were able to find another venue that offered a 6 hour reception with the same price on all days and they were absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! They also allowed to give a final guest count one week prior to the wedding. Well, our wedding went from 100 people to 70! They were also very professional and the food & drinks were great, great, great!
I think that it is important that the Renaissance come to realize that they are not the only venue out there and that they are not living up to their competition!
I had even seen them on 'Four Weddings' show recently and when a guest asked what a certain food was, the waiter could not speak English!

Thanks to Betty and her staff, I can honestly say I had my perfect dreamed wedding. I got a lot of compliments on the food and cake. Their DJ Marcus is awesome! Everyone was dancing at my wedding. I couldn't be any more happier with outcome.

My wife and I got married at the Renaissance At The Gables this past weekend with a wedding that was literally planned in 2 months and I must say, EXCELLENT SERVICES.
Rosy did an amazing job in getting everything together for us. She was flexible with our needs and always provided an excellent service guiding us. We would schedule time with her and she was readily available for us when we got there which was crucial for us since we were from out of town. Tony the photographer arranged a photographer for us on the 11th hour with a great price based on our budget.
The day of the wedding, a few minor things needed attention, but nothing to jump about it. I got there ahead of time to ensure that everything was set up as I and my wife would expect and it was. The decorations and the flowers were beautiful. The lighting was great for us. We had our wedding on the Fontana Room and after the ceremony were moved next door with our guests while they prepare the place for the reception which was done in less than 30 minutes. Once the room was completed, our guests were moved back after a great bar service and hors d'oeuvres. The food was great. All of our guests raved about the food. We made the choice of the London Broil and the Scalloped Potatoes. The London Broil was perfect and the Scalloped Potatoes was a big hit for our guests; everyone wanted more.
I must warn you though, this place is run by an entire family that really knows their business and is a 'Cuban' place which means is always really busy and loud when you go to meet with them. Rosy is a huge multitasker and it might give the impression that as she is juggling people on the phone, people that walk in, etc that she is not 100% with you; please trust me SHE IS. She is on the ball constantly. She is extremely passionate on how she does things and an extreme perfectionist; so don't take it to heart if you go visit her for your planning and she is all over. She is actually paying attention to you while at the same time ensuring that other events are planed as expected. She will do the same thing for your event and that is a welcome process.
We will for sure use Renaissance At The Gables for any future events. The care and attention to detail that we received and the great service and flexibility is worth the money. At the end of the day all it really matters is the outcome of the event and for us we had a great time and so did our guests.

The food was great, you have to pay for valet parking, and if you don't pay for the premium bar, you don't get margaritas. Also, if you are making your own flower arrangements, they don't take them to put on the tables, you have to put them, and no one has time for that on their wedding day since Renaissance sets up three hours before. Overall, I had an amazing wedding, and everyone raved about the food.

This place is great is you want everything in one package. The main person there is named Betty and she was super helpful and worked with me. But, I must admit that the bartender was a really old lady and a lot of my guests were complaining that she was taking forever to serve the alcohol. The food was amazing and so was the DJ. The only thing I did not like was the fact that my guests were waiting outside to be seated and we did not start as promised. Overall they were great for the price that I paid.

You absolutely have to book with them! Their staff is amazing and they know what they are doing. They exceed your expectations and I did not have to worry one bit about anything. They are understanding and like I said, they know what they are doing. No need to micro manage. You only have to tell them one time what you want or give them one picture and they can handle it. They include everything except your wedding dress and tuxedos. Heck, they will even give you references on where the best deals are. Rose, Tony and Nancy are the best!!

I had my wedding at the Renaissance at the Gables location and it was truly a memorable experience! Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect. The food was delicious, the music was great and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. The décor and the ambience was so elegant! Thanks Renaissance for making my evening truly special!!!!

I had my wedding here and I picked it because they gave a very nice private room in the third floor and it was close to the church where I had my ceremony. However, these people are hard to deal with. The DJ did not play any of the songs I asked him to, the color of the uplighting I asked for was not the one they used, and they are not set on their pricing. One day you ask one of them for a price and then you call again and speak to someone else and they change the price.

Leading up to our wedding we had a few bumps in the road with this venue. They are a bit disorganized and misplaced our contract. In the end, the owner Rosemary was very accomodating and I was extremely pleased with my wedding over all. The flowers and tables were beautifully arranged. The food was great. My cake was not exactly how I ordered it, and the flavor (although still good) was wrong.

I recently got married at the Renaissance at the Gables. At first I was disappointed since dealing with Tony seemed like the worst thing ever. He seemed to have an attitude problem with me and wasn't very receptive. Thank God for the owner Rose, if it weren't for her, I probably would have left my deposit there and got married somewhere else. We were able to get exactly what we wanted and though the first food tasting wasn't the best the second was better and we were pleased. I was worried about the food since my guest know I'm a foodie at heart and I refused to serve bad food at my wedding. I had my ceremony and reception there and I'm glad. The place looked beautiful! All of my guest raved about how beautiful the reception hall looked. They had just painted a week prior, so everything looked spotless. The only two mishaps were that they forgot to put out my wedding favors until I asked and Rose quickly brought them up for the guest to take on their way out. Not how I had pictured it but at least people got to see them. The other thing was we ended up using their cake as the grooms cake since it wasn't up to our standards. They ended up cutting that one first and cutting little thin slices. Not a good move specially since we had a three tier cake that I indicated I wanted cut and passed around. All and all, I would do it all over again there but just be very away of what I am doing. The staff over all (aside from Tony) was always very good to my husband and I and I would tell any bride on a budget (as I was) to look at this venue as a possibility. Everyone thought my wedding was more than what we actually paid for, but I'm sure that had to do with all the extra things we did, outside of the venue. Decorations, flowers, musicians, etc.
The DJ was not that great, we gave him a list and he didn't follow it, however we made the best of it and I did dance my butt off. My guest enjoyed it as well and the open bar did not hurt ;)

These people are very deceptive be aware. I scheduled my wedding with just about 1 yr. anticipation and the quality of the food was horrible and embarrasing to me as the bride. Everyone complained about the bar! They make you pay for 1-2 police officers, however, after 6 pm they have a restaurant and the other side becomes a club -- so in essence you are paying for security for their other 2 businesses. Not once did I even see the police officer(s) that I paid for. Also, my decorating team got to the venue to begin decorating at 2 pm and they were dismissed and told to leave everything that the would take care if everything. Not once were we told that there was another function scheduled before mine. We found out that they had squeezed in a baby shower before my event. They event send the chair company away and told them to come back at 5 pm (my event began at 7 pm). In the event industry, that is a very big risk - since those companies are on a schedule and planned route. At thee end, I ended up noticing that things that had been bought were never even taken out of the boxes because the person in charge said they didn't know where everything was supposed to go. Their DJ, Charlie, wad terrible to say the least. Place is not well up-kept and is run down. Frankly, this is a never again venue! There's lots more but so little time to write.

My guests were very happy with the DJ & food the hall provided as well... so were my husband & I! :)

They know their stuff. They set up and break everything down for you...even with the most complicated of requests. Make sure you are prepared to make all the details so they can handle everything. The food and drinks were impeccable!!! People don't usually talk about that stuff after the wedding but a majority of my guests and my husband and I were so impressed!!! Great bartender and in-house chef!

I just hosted my daughter's Baptism on February 13, 2010. I was so disappointed with the experience I had with this company! I went and signed a contact with the supposed owner of the company. It was a terrible experience, they didn't set up the venue like they said they would, the dj turn off the music half hour before the party was over, the guest were charged a $5 dollar fee for parking, when I specifically asks for this not to happen! They follow their contact, but they change their copy to their convenience. Not only are they unprofessional, but when I tried to call and mention all the mistakes they were extremely rude. I wouldn't dare choose this vendor for a wedding!
Please don't waste your money in this venue!!!!
