I would generally recommend the renaissance hotel to anyone looking to book their wedding!
Our wedding was at the Renaissance 5/10/24, we worked with Kevin and Amanda for the duration of our engagement. We booked early and likely secured a better price (not sure what they are charging now) We had 100 guests, did a buffet style service and had our ceremony on the terrace outside with the reception indoors. The pool on the terrace was not open during our ceremony (seasonal)
PROS:
- This is a great way to book at much less stressful wedding. The Renaissance can handle all the food, drink, space, and give you plenty of 'getting ready' space. It's an easy central location, it's easy for guests to stay and party as long as you want. It's easy to get to other spots downtown to take photos. Generally, this felt like a much cheaper way to do a wedding versus hiring a bunch of extra vendors and it all still felt very special.
- We did an all vegetarian menu and the venue handled it just fine. Everyone loved the food (we had a buffet) and there were no issues with getting cake served. They did not charge any cake cutting fees and we easily boxed up leftovers for the end of the evening. Food allergies and N/A cocktails were handled just fine.
- Generally stress free, highly professional event. No issues with security or wedding crashers, no incidences of rudeness, theft or miscommunication with service staff. The venue is equipped to handle any/all issues and we felt very well taken care of.
CONS:
- The beautiful, gorgeous, amazing terrace was very WINDY when we had our service. If you'd like to rent this space, just make sure your decor and plans account for this. My veil blew off and our flower display was knocked over twice, eventually shattering about a minute before the ceremony. The venue coordinator and my coordinator were responsive and tried to remedy this, but I would advise having a very sturdy, stable ceremony display, without tall flowers that can blow away.
- Our venue coordinator wasn't very responsive to questions until a month or so out. She seemed very professional, but busy. Try calling your coordinator instead of emailing if you need them, that seemed to work best. At the end of the day, it wasn't a big deal, but it can be annoying.
- Our bridal suite didn't seem to be included in the package cost, even though it seemed like it was in our contract. Expect to check in to the hotel the day of with a credit card that they'll charge for the duration of your stay.
- Parking can be expensive with the valet for overnight parking. Check what the fares are close to your date and just make sure family is aware so they won't get any surprises.
IN SHORT: This venue is fine, probably a lot cheaper than other options, and won't do you wrong. Book them and you'll have the night of your life!

We had a great experience for our wedding at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel. We had the rehearsal dinner, reception, and next-day brunch at the Renaissance and were quite pleased. Our main contact person was Laurie Malcolm, who was wonderful and responsive.
We did not have any issues with our room block and any account issues were easily solved.
As a gay couple, we would happily have another wedding at the Renaissance and would recommend the venue to other couple's. We were treated well and with respect.
The only *negative* feedback we have for the Renaissance is that the banquet staff were quick to clean up before people had the opportunity to finish drinks and have cake.
Let me start by saying that Laurie, our room block coordinator, is a doll and such a sweetheart. I enjoyed conversing with her and she was quite responsive. She was completely thrown under the bus by her boss, Chuck ODonnell- he apparently is too afraid to do his own dirty work, and hides behind Laurie.
That being said, DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING BLOCK HERE! We booked a block of rooms here an entire year before our wedding, because our venue was less than a block away, and did not want to worry about shuttles, etc. We were told that once we filled our initial block, we would be given more rooms. This did not happen, and many of my guests had to scramble for other hotel rooms in busy downtown Columbus. We were strategic about who we put in our limited block because we only had 20 rooms, and ensured that appropriate family was there to assist my elderly grandparents, in addition to helping them with the short walk to our venue.
Many guests had paid up front, and some had re-confirmed their rooms with the Renaissance a few months before the wedding. THREE DAYS before the wedding, I received a phone call saying that my entire block was being moved a mile away to a lesser star hotel, because they were overbooked. WHAT? We had a signed legal contract, which apparently meant nothing! They offered to pay for transportation and said to send them our Uber receipts to be reimbursed. (Never mind that some of our older guests don’t know what Uber is, let alone how to use it!) Our block was an easy target to move. What is worse is that people who booked outside the block or who were Marriott members did not have to move, therefore separating families, friends, and those helping handicapped grandparents. The entire situation was outrageous. They knew they were overbooked far far before they contacted me. Three days before created a fiasco with my out of town guests, and created a great deal of unnecessary stress before my wedding.
Laurie’s boss, Chuck O’Donnell, was less than helpful and so incredibly RUDE about the situation. For someone who works in hospitality I expected more empathy. He turned the situation to make it seem like it was my fault! He had many unanswered emails and phone calls from myself and my guests. The front desk gave me three different emails for him, none of which actually worked! Outrageous!
I called Marriott corporate and filed a complaint, which I was told would end up on Chuck’s desk within 3-5 business days. Great. Not helpful. I also spoke with the regional manager, whom I have a signed contract with that this hotel would provide 20 rooms, who said that he would address the situation, and I did not receive a call back. If a legal contract doesn’t get you anywhere, what is the point?!
SAVE YOUR TIME AND HAVE A STRESS FREE WEDDING WEEK- BOOK YOUR BLOCK AT ANOTHER HOTEL!!!!!!!!!
Any questions?
The reason for 3 stars here has nothing to do with the wedding itself! My husband and I booked the Renaissance in 2017 for our July 2019 wedding. We worked with Laurie Malcolm who was amazing! Our terrace wedding ceremony was beautiful and the reception in the ballroom was top notch. The food was nothing short of delicious and the staff waiting the wedding was so good we are still getting compliments on them. They have beautifully renovated the entire second floor ballroom area so it is now very modern and classic. Now, the reason for 3 stars would have to be the way this establishment handles money. This place is definitely not the cheapest place to have a wedding, and when you are dealing with a wedding budget mistakes in accounting cause a lot of undue stress. The accounting team at the Renaissance is awful to say the least. They made countless accounting errors none of which they took credit for. One was made a year before the wedding, and they didn’t discover it until 7 days before the wedding when they decided to call me and stress my husband and I out way more than we already were to begin with. There were endless charges to our credit cards some we are still unsure of what they were for. We dealt with the general manger of the hotel, Chuck and he was far less than understanding and had no problem adding a significant amount of stress to my husband and I during our first week on marriage. Wedding was unforgettable, hotel staff was great, however accounting and upper management will be getting an F- from us.
We had our ceremony only at this Venue. I'd recommend looking elsewhere especially if you're working with Laurie. To make a long story short she was very misleading with a lot of event details and was very rude to family and friends who helped set up our ceremony. When booking them keep in mind you will need a day of coordinator and either a vendor or family/ friends to set up decor. They'll give you all that information after you've booked them for a couple thousand dollars. A family friend suggested I look elsewhere before I booked here due to a bad experience she had here with her wedding. I decided to book anyways because my initial impression with them was great. The biggest misstep is Laurie told me we could set up for our ceremony at 11:30am, then 2 weeks prior to my wedding told me I was unable to start setup until 2:00pm. The music was set to start at 2:30pm. So many details and vendor arrivals were set around that 11:30am set up time we had previously determined. The crazy thing was when delivering this information she acted like this was no big deal. Later we found out she knew we wouldn't be able to get into our event space until 2pm for months and decided to tell us at the last minute. In addition she was the cuer for my string quartet. she told them when to start the music for the processional, my entrance , etc.. She refused to use their preferred cue of giving a quick thumbs up when ready and snapped at them saying "I will use my own cue by sticking my head out". Well she had to stick her head out of the door for another reason apparently and miscued them to start our processional. They had to then stop the music and restart. my husband said it was extremely noticeable. I'm not sure one why she was rude to the quartet and two why she refused to use their preferred method. A few guests mentioned this situation to me after the wedding because they knew it was her fault and knew all the other things she's done during this process.
This is a few examples of MANY missteps and I'm so happy the stress of working with her is finally over!!
I planned my destination wedding in this hotel. The event coordinator was very good at staying up to every details but be aware!! There is NO security in this hotel. Things get stolen from the hotel rooms. You can’t trust the people who work here. I got one my tiffany flutes stolen from my bridal suite and the administration said they couldn’t confirm it was stolen so they were not able to do anything about. They refused to have them replaced or reimbursed. What a way to start your wedding day!! Just be cautious and do yourself a favor if you don’t want to add more stress to your day just don’t book this venue.
The Renaissance Hotel is the worst place to get married in Columbus OH. We had a two day Indian wedding with 400 guests and 60 rooms occupied. This is the experience we faced during our big wedding weekend:
1. Wedding coordinator was a no show on both nights.
2. Renaissance management team did not inform us that she was fired or let go and was unable to provide a backup coordinator for the event.
3. The entire staff was unaware of any of the details of our wedding and was unable to provide assistance during the event.
4. My family members and bridesmaids had to fight tooth and nail to get any response from Renaissance employees.
5. The wedding coordinator did not schedule appropriately the staffing to put up the stage and decorations for the wedding morning. My husband and my guests had to spend the entire night on Friday to put up the stage by themselves.
6. Utensils, napkins and plates were not set up on a timely manner which caused major delays during both Friday and Saturday events.
7. The management team was no help and did not show up until Saturday afternoon to assist in the event which was already over.
8. The upper management team is rude, unapologetic and refused to take any ownership of the issues that took place even though the Event Manager confirmed they did not live up to the level of standards promised by the Marriott/Renaissance franchise.
This is the type of wedding you will have at this hotel. I do not want any bride or groom to go through the experience I went through at this hotel. This was supposed to be the happiest day in my life and it turned out to be most stressful, exhausting and disappointing event in my life. In the end this hotel only cares about money and not about providing the best experience possible for your big day.
Phenomenal venue for our daughter's wedding reception. Our event planner was a delight to work with through the entire process. She was accessible and accommodating. The staff and their services met my goal of having flow and fluidity throughout the evening from cocktails to speeches to food and drink, cake serving and clean up. Our sales representative was able to work with us to meet our needs in a reasonable and professional way as well. In general, compared to other venues in the area, The Renaissance really went out of its way to provide us with a "simply perfect in every way" weekend. I felt as if I could relax and enjoy the weekend from check in to check out. We had high expectations and several unusual demands that their staff met at all times. We would not hesitate to host another reception there in the future.
We had a very small wedding of 30 guests using the hotel's terrace for the ceremony and Latitude 41, the hotel restaurant, for the reception. The hotel's event staff was very helpful and willing to work with my budget and desire for non-traditional small wedding. I worked with Angela, one of the event planners, who helped pull everything together to create exactly what I asked for and wanted. She was available during all of the planning and even gave me her personal number for any last minute things that came up! So thankful I booked this venue!!
We used the Renaissance for our wedding block as well as brunch the morning after the wedding. I worked with Liz and she was amazing, she worked with my entire family to take care of every little detail. We were able to do early check-in and late check out as well as adjoining rooms so the bridesmaids could all get ready together in a bigger space.
I would highly recommend this hotel for all your wedding space needs!
We viewed many different venues in the Columbus area. We were the most impressed with The Renaissance. The pool deck provided a breathtaking view of the downtown for our ceremony. We decided to have our reception in the banquet room which was just as stunning. Our coordinator Liz was amazing! We can't thank her enough for making our day perfect and for all of her hard work to help us plan from Florida.
We used Renaissance for our hotel block and morning after brunch. Liz was our coordinator and she was awesome! They had the perfect number of rooms in their initial block (we had 160 guests, lots of out of towners but they blocked 30 rooms for Sat and we had 29 booked). The brunch was delicious. We got a Junior Suite for the block rate and it was perfect. Used it for everyone to get hair done on the morning of, they cleaned it after and it was perfect when we returned the night of the wedding. Liz was great and always quick to communicate via email. Couldn't have asked for a better experience
The Renaissance was the perfect venue for our downtown wedding!!! Liz was awesome to work with and made the day seamless!! I would highly recommend The Renaissance !!
The Renaissance was an amazing place to have our wedding!! We enjoyed every minute working with the Renaissance -- from the planning and preparations, to the wedding day itself. Lauren and Amber were so easy to work with, and very accommodating. Lauren helped us with the contract and package, and Amber was our event coordinator. Amber was so helpful and really made planning our wedding so fun and easy!! The Renaissance is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful terrace and large ballrooms. Our ceremony was originally supposed to be held outside, but it was a dreary day full of downpours, so it ended up being inside in part of the ballroom. Although we were disappointed with not being able to have the ceremony outside, Amber and the team at the Renaissance made the ceremony space look amazing, too. It was wonderful to have a built-in plan b. We chose this hotel over others in town because we had actually been to a charity event the past few years and knew that they were great at hosting large events. It is so wonderful to have the ceremony, reception, and a place to stay all in the same facility, it's so convenient.
We really had a near flawless experience with the Renaissance. Amber really helped to make blocking rooms as seamless as possible. We were able to add on additional rooms when we needed to, and she even helped to print a list of who had booked about a week before the cutoff, so that we could call people we knew needed one to make sure they booked! Additionally, we rented a room for all of the girls to get dressed/eat lunch and Amber helped to make that happen as well! We did have a few guests not receive their gift bags, but the hotel was really busy the weekend of our wedding, so I get it. The only other thought was that in booking about 40 rooms, we didn't get a free night. Sure our rooms were all discounted, but you'd think you would get a little more for bringing so much business to the hotel. However, maybe this is a standard in the industry/me being cheap. But overall, rooms were clean and Amber was great to work with. Really recommend for any downtown weddings as it is a great location! Also- they have a wonderful place for taking pictures on their deck when it isn't used for other weddings!
We chose the Renaissance for it's price and proximity to our venue, The Columbus Athenaeum. Jennifer was our coordinator, and I heard nothing but great things from our guests. My husband and I actually stayed in the Junior Suite the night of our wedding, and we had a beautiful room (freshened up from when my bridesmaids and I were in there earlier in the day getting ready) and a gift package from Jennifer. Everything was great, and even the 2 things that weren't (TV didn't work and heating/cooling was off between the rooms) was fixed very quickly. We had a great experience there - from the room, to the bar to the private breakfast buffet we had with our guests (the food was delicious!).
I reserved a block of rooms for my wedding at The Renaissance and I am very happy I chose this hotel. I worked with Liz and she was extremely easy to work with. She went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests. I also booked a terrace suite at the hotel for my bridal party to get ready in. It was the perfect amount of space, plenty of room for me and 7 bridesmaids to get hair and make up done. We had a light breakfast and lunch catered by the hotel and that was great as well!
We worked with Liz Lesch for our room block and cannot say enough positive things about her! She was wonderful, responded quickly and fulfilled all of our requests.
The Renaissance is a nice hotel, but I was disappointed in the size of the suites. We got ready in one of the suites and it was very tiny. I wish they would have given us a bigger suite.
Other than the small size of the suite, they were awesome to work with. Helped get some of our guests early check ins and accommodated all of our "day of" requests... from extra chairs to extension cords.
I cannot praise Amber and John enough!! They made every part of our planning process enjoyable and the night of our wedding was perfect. Every one of our needs were met from the moment we arrived until we checked out and beyond. I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding experience!!
Right around the corner from our reception. It was handy for all involved. Nice rooms and accommodations, with plenty to do within walking distance.
Liz worked hand in hand with my now mother-in-law to create room blocks and plan our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the hotel.
She helped us open more rooms when a few guests missed the block, she helped organize the food and a banquet room for our ceremony practice.
I'm pretty confident my mother-in-law spoke to Liz on a daily basis because she's wonderfully type A and Liz worked patiently with her to ensure all details were completed to our satisfaction.
Book at the Renaissance - the hotel rooms are great (and so is Latitude 41 and the bar), the staff is friendly, and Liz is the best!
I had a great experience with The Renaissance! I worked with Amber through the process and I have not one bad word to say. She was there until late into the night and was a good sport with my large wedding party. My ceremony and reception were both gorgeous. Amber helped set up all my centerpieces, decorations, and table numbers. They were all better than I expected. We didn't decide where to have to ceremony, the roof or ballroom, until the morning of and that was no problem! We had two bands and a DJ and that was no problem. The only complaint I have is the staff was loud behind the door during my ceremony and actually opened it at one point. Total mistake but a little annoying. Other than that, perfection.
We were pleased with the great service at the Renaissance. The rooms are nice, and their lobby/restaurant/bar area is great. Amber was our coordinator, and I was very pleased with the service and they gave us a great room rate for our wedding block. Highly recommend!
Great hotel in the heart of downtown Columbus! It is easy to get to and a really beautiful hotel. We loved staying there and so did our guests!
Trust me, I get it - it's hard to choose a venue for the "biggest" day of your life, but I am here to say that I am so glad I chose the Renaissance. The Marriott service (read: above and beyond) was very apparent at all stages of the planning process. From working with Lauren on the quote and agreement to being assigned to Amber, I had a flawless experience and highly recommend the Renaissance. We opted to have our cocktail hour on the four level deck and the reception in the ballroom. I decided to add drapery to the ballroom and quite of bit of other items (lounge area, fondue fountain, a crap ton of small touches that I didn't even see on the actual day-of because I was too busy etc) which was complicated. Amber's attentiveness to me during the entire process (and trust me, I'm a bit of a control freak and perfectionist) was above par. Her sense of humor, willingness to help and eager positive attitude was MUCH appreciated, especially as the day got closer. She gracefully helped me navigate some decisions. We went back and forth in emails quite a bit (I'm sure she'll have more free time on her hands now that I'm officially married) and she always made me feel like the only bride getting married on her watch. I hope this message makes it to Amber's supervisor because she is awesome and if any of my engaged friends ask for recommendations, her name will be the first one I say! Thank you to the entire renaissance staff, from housekeeping to the check-in desk staff, for a memorable and happy wedding day experience.
We had a great experience having our wedding room block located at the Renaissance. We worked with Liz Lesch as our contact person, and wow, did she go above and beyond! She was so helpful and professional, and took the stress out of any questions or issues she had by responding to emails within hours or less! She even got one of our guests into a room after the cut-off date due to some extenuating circumstances, and also followed up after the wedding to make sure we got our rewards points for the rooms we had booked for out-of-town members of the bridal party! I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.
Nothing could have been more perfect on my wedding day. My wedding planner and I worked with Amber as our contact at the Renaissance and she was incredibly prompt and responsive to all my requests.
Geri Lombard (GM) and Amber Pacer (coordinator) completely went above and beyond in making sure everything went according to plan. Even when we had to make some last minute decisions based on weather, they worked so hard and so fast to get it done. Amber made the planning process very enjoyable. She was always available when we needed her, she coordinated with the other vendors, and she anticipated all of my needs. Chef Sven and Chef Mike did an amazing job on the food, and Omar and team kept the drinks flowing and the guests happy. Thumbs up all around! Thank you!
We had such an incredible experience with The Renaissance. We had our hotel block for our wedding through the Renaissance. We had over 60 guest rooms blocked and the customer service was truly amazing. We worked with Janet and Amber, and couldn't have imagined working with anyone better. Every email, every question was answered within hours. Any stress I had, was resolved within minutes. They even went above and beyond to CALL some of the priority guests who needed hotel rooms. The hotel is amazing as well. We had several guests comment on how great their room was, and how they loved the Renaissance. We ALSO had our wedding afterparty there. Yet again, amazing to work with throughout this process.
We used the Renaissance for our guests to stay in since our reception was downtown. The hotel and location were perfect! The outdoor pool was perfect for our nieces and nephews to seem and served as a gathering place for all the guests. The bar is great and a perfect spot for a later night gathering place. We used the suite right off the pool for our dinner rehearsal and catered food from the hotel....perfect!!! They were amazing to work with and the food was great. We could bring in our own alcohol since we rented the suite. I would highly recommend the Renaissance to anyone!
From the second my husband and I visited the Renaissance 4th Floor Pool Deck, we knew this is where we wanted to be married. We were having my husband's grandfather perform the ceremony and we couldn't find a church in town that would allow him to do it by himself. We had booked our reception at the Athenaeum first and then looked for a ceremony spot. We ran into a small issue - we were getting married in August and the Renaissance had no back-up space (for weather) for us due to them holding an annual conference. We had two options: rent tents or have our back-up at the Athenaeum. We decided to have our back-up at the Athenaeum, and I am so happy that we did not have to use it!
Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous - clear blue skies, a light breeze, and cool temperatures (low 80s in August!). We decided to rent chairs from a company that they recommended and we are happy we did. They were a little bit cheaper than doing the chair covers through the Renaissance.
We had booked the space with Lauren who was great to meet with us a couple of times to go over all our questions and concerns. Once we booked, Kathy was our main contact for everything. She did an OUTSTANDING job. From every detail, to constant communication, to sending me who had booked rooms under our block. She even helped set up the ceremony and clean it up and put things back in our room while we were at our reception. I don't think it would have been as perfect if she wasn't there. She also was our coordinator for the ceremony - letting people know when to go down the aisle and for my entrance as well. She was great!
Our family and friends still talk about how great our ceremony was with the amazing view. After our ceremony, people stayed to take so many pictures on the pool deck.
It was a perfect day and an amazing location! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an outdoor venue downtown!
We hosted our Rehearsal Lunch in the grand ballroom. The whole process of hosting an event here made us feel special. We had a private tasting in which we were able to talk to the chef about each of the options we were sampling and were very happy with the food selections we made. The day of things went smoothly- the food was delicious! however a few things were missing from the buffet, like dinner rolls and cards so that the guests would know what they were eating. So in the end the major things were great but the little things were a little disappointing.
The service level of the Renaissance staff was above & beyond expectations. Between the event coordinators and the general staff, they were there to help with every request. The location was great- my family enjoyed visiting the State House and walking along the river (plus there are several restaurant/bar options nearby). The food at the hotel restaurant + the food served at the reception was delicious (all of our guests would agree). The rooftop pool is a great attraction, plus their workout facilities are nicer than most hotels. I really couldn't have asked for anything better!
The Renaissance gave us a point person, Sonja Perman, who did a PHENOMENAL job! We had some nuances to our reception that was more work on the staffing, but they were able to pull it all off. The staff was amazing and the food was incredible. The whole night was well worth any amount of money we could have ever spent. I would definitely recommend this hotel/food/experience to anyone!
nice rooms, gorgeous lobby, wonderful service!
My husband and I were married at The Renaissance on June 30, 2012. Kelsey Reckless and Christine Arvey were just amazing. They made our day perfect and followed up on every detail. Our guests are still gushing over how wonderful everything was. I can't say enough wonderful things about the venue and EVERYONE working there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
I had my ceremony and reception at the hotel and all of our guests stayed there. There were some issues with reservations for guests and gift bags at check in as well as housecleaning. The ceremony and reception went very well and everyone enjoyed the food.
Used them for guest accommodations.
This hotel was clean and very welcoming, although it would have been nice if we didn't have to pay for parking. The hotel was nice enough to allow us to take pictures at the hotel, even though our wedding was at a different location. We were even able to add on another block of rooms for Sunday night at a later date.
The Renaissance was so accommodating, well organized, and made the experience of our wedding fun and relaxing for us and our guests. The bar was a convenient place to meet and visit with friends from out of town. Our room was upgraded at the last minute to provide a more spacious place to get ready, and we were able to take beautiful photos of the city of Columbus. Loved our experience here!
My now husband suggested the Renaissance as he'd been to a reception there before and had a great time. As soon as I walked in I knew this place was definitely on the top 3 list. As I worked with the sales coordinator & then the even staff I knew everything was going to be great! They worked with our needs and were very accommedating! Once the big day came I don't think things could have gone any better! They took care of everything. The guests loved the food and their rooms! I don't think things could have been much better! Thanks you Renaissance Downtown Columbus for making our special say so memorable!
This was a beautiful hotel and was luckily right around the corner from our reception venue. We worked with Kate and were able to block a certain number of rooms and then increase that number without penalty later when it became clear we needed more rooms. Kate was very responsive and was even interested in taking care of us after the date of our wedding. We were very pleased and I believe that all of our guests were as well!
Great room! My husband and I got the suite for a great price (114/night) since we booked our wedding block here. The restaurant is great, especially the breakfast buffet! Our room was great! Only down side is expensive valet parking and our room didn't have a tub, just a shower. Otherwise I was very pleased and LOVED the bed!!
This hotel has a great downtown location, just one block from the Athenaeum. My whole wedding party stayed there and had a great time.
We were very impressed with the level of service we received from the Renessaince. My only criticism is that our event contact changed numerous times before the event, but once we got Nicole she was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. They continually made sure that we and our parents were taken care of. It really is a beautiful place for a reception and they take great care of you!!
I was very happy with my experience at the Renaissance. Our contact was very responsive leading up to the event, and they were great the actual wedding weekend. We even had our Sunday brunch there which was perfect and delicious.
The staff was very accomodating and did everything in their power to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the pool deck and the view was absolutely stunning. The only thing that was upsetting is that I tasted and chose truffle mashed potatoes to go with a roasted chicken dish I selected, and they gave our guests ordinary potatoes with no truffle flavoring. The servers were excellent. Our guests raved about the pool deck view and the food.
The staff were all very easy to work with. The pool deck is wonderful for the cocktail hour prior to the reception. The food was awesome and you have a wide variety of menu options to choose for your guests' meal. They have different tiers of service for the menus which is nice on the budget. The hotel overall is very nice with a modern style.;The colors of the ballroom floor are bright red green orange and black. The walls are a yellowish-gold. It looks very nice but some wedding colors like brown and pink will not work very well.
