Honestly, she is the best. Hands-down. For several years, I owned a linen company and had the pleasure of meeting and working with several talented event coordinators and planners over the years. However, when it was time for my wedding – I called Lakisha with Renee’s Eventi. She coordinated our destination wedding. To this day, people ask about her because she quickly became an extension of our family. In addition to be insanely creative and well connected, she is just an amazing human and one that I would ABSOLUTELY recommend you hire for event coordination and planning. You know how most brides talk about having a stressful planning process and the drama that happens leading up to (and sometimes the day of) the wedding? That was NOT my story. My entire wedding experience was a dream, and the wedding weekend left everyone (guest included) wishing we could relive the experience just one more time. She is awesome – hire her now or you will regret it later!

Can you believe it’s been two years already since my husband and I said “we do”?!? Wow right and to think we had THEE BEST wedding planner/marriage counselor/stylist/life coach/financial adviser/therapist/comedian/bodyguard/spiritual/prayer partner and dream maker this side of heaven! LaKisha and her team not only made our wedding day one to remember, they made the months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and very last seconds leading up to the “big day” one we can now look back on and APPRECIATE! My husband wasn’t on board with us hiring a a wedding planner at 1st but after meeting LaKisha and seeing how the groom is just as important as the bride, he and LaKisha became bestfriends! The planning process was very detailed which allows for constant communication with LaKisha which in turn allows you the opportunity to spend a looooooot of time with her. It’s evident that she is BIG on building relationships and accommodating the desires of her couples. If you read my opening statement you can see I said “two years later” we still talk to her on a regular basis. All of her couples are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. She’s honest, super smart extremely thorough she knows her stuff! You’re definitely not treated like a number but more like family. She made our wedding day one to cherish and remember always!!! All i can say is WOW Lakisha made my special day come true. I was so stressed and worried that something was going to happen but Lakisha assured me that she got this and she did. The only thing i did literally was show up. This was the wedding of my dreams and Lakisha made it more than that. I can say she is not only my wedding planner but she has became apart of my family. She goes above and beyond. This is someone everyone needs in their life forever.

La’Kisha was the absolute best wedding planner! A good friend of mine referred me to her and hiring her to plan our destination wedding was the best decision my husband and I made. She made planning our dream day so much fun and easy. I had a lot going on during that season of my life and Lakisha took care of the planning for me. Her vendor recommendations were amazing! The photographer she connected us with Jamaica was the best. She treated us like family and was always available for us no matter the time or day. Planning a destination wedding can be a lot when dealing with other countries timing and language barrier but we trusted her to handle it and she exceeded our expectations. She traveled to Jamaica with us to ensure everything was perfect at our arrival and she helped organized my family and my n laws prior to the wedding for the wedding rehearsal and dinner, which isn’t an easy job. lol. La’Kisha ensured my husband and I had everything we needed on our wedding day and she made sure we were comfortable in our separate rooms and guaranteed everything will flow accordingly. She established a relationship with me, went to all my dress fittings and recommended an amazing seamstress. Trusting her to plan our wedding lender more to for me to do the fun things like creating gifts for my bridal party and enjoying my fiancé. I Gave her our wedding day vision and she made it come to life.

LaKisha was fantastic! As soon as we booked her, she made everything so easy. She was so supportive leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She made everything flow well and we were really happy!

I am so glad that I chose Renee's Eventi as my wedding coordinator. I was probably not an easy client, since my fiance were planning the wedding from several states away and because I had to be out of the country for the four months prior to my wedding, but LaKisha made me feel like everything was always under control. She went above and beyond our expectations to find us the right vendors and set up meetings (sometimes on very short notice because of our hectice travel schedules). She also listened to us and helped us find vendors to match our budget. She never pressured us, always listened to us, and was always responsive. One thing I appreciate LaKisha is her ability to communicate effectively and clearly through email - as we had to plan most of my wedding over email. Throughout the entire process, LaKisha made planning our wedding much more fun and much less stress than it would have been otherwise. And on the wedding day she came to the rescue when I was dissatisfied with my bridal bouquets - she re-made them herself and they looked fabulous!! What a lifesaver. I was able to enjoy one of the my special nights of my life without worrying about a thing from set-up to clean-up because of LaKisha. I would recommend her to anyone.

LaKisha was amazing to work with!!! She was very organized and very personal. I loved getting to just chat with her as well!! She took all of my visions and made them happen with amazing vendors! Some that I had hired, and some that we had hired together!! I could not have asked for a better planner and her team. She handled my breakdown the day before the wedding, and made my day flawless and perfect!! I would recommend her to any bride, even if you do not live in Texas!! She was flawless!!!=)

Renee's Eventi was the flora decorator at my daughter's wedding on August 3, 2013. The decorations/flora arrangements was breath taking. I have seen a lot of weddings but this one was far most the best I have ever seen, not just because it was my daughters. Everything fell right into place:linens, chairs, flowers, lights,food, music all flowed together to make this a perfect wedding. I have no reqrets and people are still talking about how magnificent the wedding was, and I must say it was pricey at first, but I saw first hand how everything came together, and I am still excited. If you are planning a wedding or any event I highly recommend Renee's Evanti, she and her staff w ill make your dreams come true without breaking the bank. Yes, she will make it work for you, and do a lot of extra things that you may not have thought of, like its her wedding, she really gets involve to make your day very special. There are not enought words express how AWESOME Renee's Eventi was to us. It has be 3 months since our wedding and people are still talking about how beautiful everything was. LaKisha and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding a "Dreams Come True". She was such a blast to work with and made everything fun and easy. Talented, is not even a word to describe Renees's Eventi. For my wedding her vision was so amazing and outstanding that when I saw it, it took my breath away. Her personal touch was outstanding and the add surprises were amazing. Every future Bride and Groom should have LaKisha from Renee's Eventi on SPEED DIAL ! Our wedding was "A DREAM COME TRUE" it was more than we could have ever asked for and LaKisha and her team made that happen from beginning to end. Thank you so much for everything!!

At our initial consultation, LaKisha was very attentive, listened to and incorporated our needs and wants, and helped us to get all of our details organized with our family, guests, and other vendors. She was able to include her services to fit well within our budget. She lead our wedding rehearsal at our church and took time to discuss with us the scheduled timeline from start to finish. On our wedding day, her staff was able to work with her at our church and at the separate reception venue. She was able to keep everything running smoothly while keeping us calm and at ease while working with two locations. Our wedding ceremony and reception were carried out effortlessly and professionally. Our wedding day will not only be memorable because it was on 10-11-12, but it will also be memorable for it was an absolute pleasure to have Renee's Eventi be a vital part in making our wedding dreams come into fruition. I would most definitely recommend Renee's Eventi for any wedding or special event.

Renee Eventi made it stress free for my husband and I during our planning. She helped plan our wedding from Texas all the way to Minnesota. Don't ask how she did it all I know is that she is superwoman. She did everything from the flower arrangements, to setting and decorating the tables and center pieces. She was there whenever we needed her and I am forever grateful! You will not be disappointed!!

I was looking for someone to plan our wedding and I saw some pictures of Renee's Eventi work and I contacted them, this company planned the perfect memorable wedding,this company worked with all the vendors got prices helped out with the invitations and even went beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was just simply perfect. Thanks again for making the Drakeford wedding complete.

Renee's Eventi was a complete let down on the day of my wedding. We met several times before the wedding to ensure every detail I wanted would be in place and to review our contract. The morning of the wedding began with the owner and wedding planner, Lakisha, contacting my mother saying she needed manpower to help set up the event. We sent guests of our wedding to clean and set up tables and chairs, which caused them to be late for the wedding. The only staff present from Renee's Eventi was an assistant whom we had never met. She didn't know the arrangement we had previously discussed and she was very rude to our wedding guest who arrived early to help set up tables and chairs. The venue director and other vendors called my parents several times trying to locate the wedding planner. In our contract Lakisha was suppose to receive deliveries and greet vendors, but she arrived late resulting in the wedding starting an hour late because they were not finished setting up. Some of the vendors who arrived on time said she told them she was working between two events. Some of the guests who were helping set up said she even got into an argument with a vendor regarding the placement of equipment after she arrived late. When guests began to arrive the venue was still not setup. When the wedding party arrived to the venue we were totally confused and lost. We were never greeted by Lakisha or even introduced to her assistant. My wedding party often told me that when they were setting up to walk down the aisle, the assistant was extremely rude, didn't know where to place them, and made several rude remarks. There were several complaints from guests the entire evening of how rude the assistant was. She was also very rude to the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. Lakisha was also suppose to make sure reception and ceremony was set up as planned, but failed to do so. Items were placed on tables with price tags, table cloths were wrinkled, sweetheart table that we ordered from her vendor was missing, decor was missing, cocktail hour was set up in buffet area, and plates weren't set up on tables as planned. Aunts and grandmothers assisted in pinning corsages and boutonnieres, which was Renee's Eventi's responsibility through our contract. The photographer's assistant bustled my dress, made sure my flowers were held correctly, and stayed by my side in the brides room, which was suppose to be provided by Renee's Eventi. During formal pictures, which were supposed to be private, guests were allowed in and were in the way. The pre-arranged spot for the gift table was supposed to be inside the venue, but was placed by the front door resulting in the loss of gifts. Uninvited guests were allowed in after guest list was supposed to be strictly enforced. I, the bride, arranged my own exit from the wedding, after no direction was provided by the wedding planner. At the end of the wedding my mother, aunts, and several friends collected guests books and personal items and even cleaned the venue in their wedding attire, after being told by the wedding planner that she needed help. Overall Renee's Eventi failed to deliver more than half of her contracted services. In her contract it's stated that "we handle every detail on the day of the wedding so that the wedding party and family are relaxed and free to enjoy your biggest moment", but that did not happen at all.
