We worked with Rentalex to provide a wide range of rentals for our wedding at a summer camp. They had a huge selection with reasonable prices, and their team was very helpful in fi...
guring out the right sizes and amounts of things we needed. They were also very quick to respond to questions and adjustments as the event got closer. Delivery and pickup were smooth and hassle free. Andrew, Todd, and Josh set up everything according to our specifications. They were friendly and fast. Overall, a great experience!
I'd give 100 stars if I could. From my first initial contact with Marelyn- this was more than just an experience of a call to them to read the item number and reserving some rental...
items for our wedding. The Rentalex team is super experienced and thoughtful in asking questions to help make sure you are satisfied and getting what you want (ie I needed a dancefloor for a wedding - no clue on what size, Marelyn asked questions and helped me get what I wanted - I have never rented a dancefloor in my life so had no clue what I was doing. She knew the venue and knew what to suggest based on that and guest count). In planning a destination wedding in a state I don't live in, there were many other items that Rentalex ended up coming through with. Thanks to Jeff and his team for accommodating us and all of our add ons (up to 2 days before we had our event! like SUPERMANS AND WONDERWOMANS work at Rentalex!) without hesitation or being annoyed that we didn't make an order of everything we needed at once. The Rentalex team was able to help us when we thought we were doomed and we can't thank them enough. The team that delivered to South Haven on 9.30.2023 were fantastic as well. They provided important products like tables and chairs and dancefloors and bars and easels, but what was most appreciated is they offered peace of mind which is absolutely priceless and their service and care are something I'll remember and continue to recommend Rentalex forever.
I had some communication issues with Rentalex for my wedding. I didn't hear from them on a drop off time until I called to follow up. No one called me to let me know that the deliv...
ery truck would be an hour later than stated. When I asked about pick up time, I was just given a date and not a time. Once I requested a time (because I wasn't given one) and asked that it be picked up to protect their things from the rain on pick up day, I was told that the uncommunicated time for pick up "would not be changed" because I hadn't told them about my needs earlier and their "delivery schedule was already set." They did not communicate well with me and were not flexible or helpful. Most of the items I rented came in good condition, however. One of the legs on a chair we rented broke and I felt like they were fair in just keeping our damage waiver.
Rentalex was great to work with! I struggled finding a rental company that would respond to me (I think everyone is short staffed and overworked due to COVID), but Rentalex had th...
e best customer service. Incredibly responsive, answered all of my questions, and was proactive in making sure I had everything I needed. We ordered a tent, tables, chairs, and an audio system and could not have been happier with their service.
There were a few issues with some of the items we rented, but overall the company was great to work with and it turned out to be a beautiful wedding with the rental items we used f...

Rentalex was very flexible with us during our wedding planning and executed great delivery on our rentals. We got married on August 29, 2020 so the original planning with Rentalex ...
started pre-COVID-19. We originally signed a contract to rent 150 chairs. During the months leading up to our wedding we had to make many changes to our wedding and our guest list was drastically reduced. Rentalex worked with us to reduce our chair count to 50 without any penalties to our contract. Our final payment was also due four weeks prior to our wedding date and right around that time we received an update from our wedding venue that they may have chairs that we were going to be able to use. In working with Rentalex, they were flexible in accepting my final payment a day or two after the 30 days while I validated if my venue was going to provide chairs or not. We ended up renting our 50 chairs and they were delivered on time, in great condition. Rentalex also set up all of the chairs so that our venue and team did not have to do this. At the end of the night, Rentalex was on time to pick the chairs up and quickly gathered them. I would recommend Rentalex for chair rental services and if I am ever in need of rental items in the Southwest Michigan area in the future I will contact Rentalex.
Paige, Donovan and the Rentalex team were the best to work with. I had a specific vision of our outdoor wedding- which included a clear tent - and the team delivered. They worked h...
ard, were communicative and executed the installation beautifully. They were also flexible with our changing requests. The price was also super competitive. I highly recommend Rentalex.
These guys did a great job through and through. We had about a million changes to what we wanted and they helped us through everything. They were extremely communicative and their ...
price points were very fair. The materials were great and everything looked perfect. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area that needs rentals.
I give a four star rating for one reason only. We had ordered three tents and they were placed side by side with "gutter" placed between each to prevent water from coming inside incase of rain. Well it rained - big time. Im talking torrential downpour. And the gutters did not hold up. One of them ended up breaking and dumping about 10 gallons of water on the keyboard player. It was a disaster. It could have been prevented by just having one big tent, long story why we had the three. Honestly accidents happen and they took care of us for the incident, its worth noting though. Avoid having to use the "gutters"
Easy to work with, good quality product and timely. Paige was very helpful and patient with all of the changes I had to make as our ideas kept changing. Their service is top notch.
We loved working with this company! They had great products to rent and were always helpful when I contacted them with a question! Thank you Marelyn & Paige!
Very accommodating, had the tent set up two day before the wedding! The tent was gorgeous as were the chairs and linens. Highly recommended!
We got married at my parents' home in Kalamazoo, so we had to build the ceremony and reception sites from scratch. Everything was beautiful! We had a large tent, they were able t...
o level the tables on the slightly uneven ground, linens were crisp and clean, place settings were lovely! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because the tent was a bit dirty. You really couldn't notice the dirt when the lighting was on (and I'm sure my guests didn't even care to look at up at the tent), but I noticed it during the set up. Not a big deal though. Would totally recommend.
I shopped around and Rentalex had the best prices. Service was perfect, everything was set up when and where I wanted it with no issues. I was able to pre-pay rater than have one m...

I rented columns and an archway. Customer service was good, except that the columns were dirty when we picked them up, and they didn't include the clamps to hold the arch down on t...

Everything was there on time, good service
The chairs were very clean. However, the people that were supposed to set up the chairs were late and argumentative upon arrival. When I would go in to make payments, only one pe...
rson ever knew what was going on. My friends set up all the chairs, as guests were arriving. They did refund our set-up costs, but it was the only hassle on our wedding day.
