My wife and I LOVED having Peter officiate our wedding. He was so patient with us throughout this process. We met with him before our wedding and he walked us through the ceremony step by step. He also sent us readings and vows to choose from. This was all so helpful. He kept our ceremony short and sweet, which is what we wanted. He kept the audience laughing and engaged despite the little rain we got during our outdoor ceremony. Overall, it was such a positive experience with Peter and I highly recommend hiring him.

If you are looking for a friendly officiant who is warm, welcoming, and well spoken look no further! Peter is the total package! He was so kind and professional from beginning to end and so friendly!! From our first meeting my then fiancé and I felt completely comfortable and confident with Peter. He met us at one of our favorite local coffee shop (which he suggested, how cool!) and it felt like meeting an old friend. The wedding day was even better. He was on time and ready to roll. He is so kind and humorous he made our ceremony feel full of love, light, and airy. Exactly how we wanted it to feel. He also made getting our official license a breeze, as he sent it in for us and it was in our mailbox by the time we returned from our honeymoon. He truly was amazing, and so accommodating. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to help us share this most important moment of our lives with us. Peter truly felt like apart of the family so much that I was glad he was there!

Peter McGuinness was the perfect officiate for our wedding! He was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process and completely understood our vision for the wedding. My husband and I wanted a short and sweet, non-denominational ceremony, but still filled with a lot meaning and love. Peter was such a wonderful officiant for our wedding. He really listened to the kind of ceremony we wanted, which was a mix of spirituality and levity, and made everyone laugh while maintaining a traditional sensibility. We met with Peter at a local Starbucks about 8 months before our June wedding. He was warm and genuinely interested in getting to know us and sharing his story with us so that we could be comfortable with him as our wedding officiant. We were both raised catholic and Peter, a former priest with the catholic church, was very helpful explaining the process of our outdoor ceremony, our options, and was easy to contact and very responsive as the weeks got closer to our big day. We were able to really craft the ceremony we wanted between our readings and vows with his support and our guests really loved that it was personal to us and our story, It was exactly what we wanted, an intimate outdoor wedding that was the perfect duration, and the whole experience was delivered by Peter in a calm, loving, warm, sincere and authentic manner. For his demeanor and personality, the reviews of our guests, his attentive responses and affordability, and the special feeling we had on our wedding day as we listened to all he said to spell out our love...we highly recommend Fr. We had thoguht that we had settled on our Officiant, but had scheduled a meeting with Rev. Peter so we decided to go to our meeting with him as a courtesy. Within five minutes of our initial meeting, we were sure that Rev. Peter was our perfect officiant. Our personalities alligned with Rev. Peter's, and he had a very keen sense of the kind of ceremony we wanted. He only gave us a bit of guidance in terms of how to structure our ceremony, but it turned out to be exactly the right amount to structure our ceremony just the way we wanted it. He is a very thoughtful and soft-spoken guy, but fear not, he projects his voice very well in a crowd, so still your doubts when he says that he won't need a microphone. We asked Rev. Peter to walk a bit of a tightrope in terms of trying to make us and our families happy with the ceremony, and he vastly exceeded our expectations.

We used Peter for our ceremony and we loved him! As a vendor he was great to work with. After our initial meeting where he got an idea of what we wanted, he didn't bombard me with emails or questions, just emailed me a summary of what we talked about along with vow ideas. After that he didn't bother me yet was quick to respond to any questions I had. The week before we emailed to go over the final details. The day of he was an hour early and wasn't intrusive. The ceremony itself was just what we wanted, personal, full of meaning, yet quick (I think it was about 15 minutes). It was beautiful and everything we wanted. For not having a lot of contact with Peter prior to, he remembered everything we talked about and did everything we asked and wanted. He was polite, respectful and genuine.

Peter is absolutely wonderful. We interviewed a few officiants, and we knew right away we would pick Peter. He was so great to work with, and we were able to create our own personalized ceremony with his help. Our guests are still raving about how nice the ceremony was. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect officiant to work with.
