All in all I would give this place an 7.5 out of 10 for my wedding hair needs and nails/pedis. Pros: Friendly staff My hair was amazing and held all night! Beautiful, roomy salon Everyone really liked their hair from my bridal party, one gal even re-did my sisters when it didn’t look as good as it could have after completed Cons: We brought mimosas and there wasn’t any table set up prior to our arrival to put stuff on. We were all standing aimlessly in the front area and staff members were pulling a couple of us from the front. It felt kind of like they weren’t prepared for us to come in. A staff member started doing my hair an hour early bc she accidentally switched me and my mother in law up on the schedule. JoAnna was tough to get a hold of and I had made multiple attempts to set up a time and day to pay for our services and she simply just wouldn’t call when she said she would. Although this was frustrating as I was trying to check off my to do list to complete before the wedding she was extremely sweet. May have been just very busy with other weddings but still it was stressful for me. Shellac Mani/ regular pedi was almost $85 for me?! I live in New York and can get both of those cheaper which I found pretty outrageous. I was hoping a discount would have been provided as i chose to work with the same salon as my hair instead of going elsewhere and was told no. All in all, I would recommend this spot for hair but probably would go elsewhere for mani/pedi.

I just got married 10/20/18- we went to the salon to get our hair and makeup done. 5 of us got the airbrush makeup and we loved it!! All of our hairstyles were great too! Ursula did my wedding hair and the hair trial didn’t last as long as I would’ve liked, but she stepped it up for the wedding day and my curls lasted all day for photos! Even with the crazy weather we had ! All of the staff was very nice and helpful! Joanna is awesome and she helped make the process painless!! I would highly recommend this salon!

Reva was recommended to me for my wedding hair and makeup by the hotel that we were staying at for our wedding. Everything from the hair and makeup trial to the day of was great.

My bridesmaids, myself, mom, and grandmothers all got our makeup done for my October wedding and it looked so professional and stayed put all night. We opted for the airbrush, and I'm glad we did. My bridesmaids all got updo's and they all turned out very good! The stylists were very friendly and gave everyone what they wanted.

I booked with Reva for my wedding on Monday. Joanna was super helpful throughout the process and flexible as our schedules never worked with each other. Joanna explained to me that their nail tech that did acrylic/shellac was no longer with them but was able to set up an appointment for me with said nail tech at another salon which was amazingly kind of her. Joanna and Mal were able to get myself and my two bridesmaids done with full makeup (airbrush), hair, and their nails within 2 hours. I was also sick unfortunately with a sinus infection and the woman at the front desk was so nice and made me a nice hot cup of tea to help my sore throat. I couldn't have asked for a better group of ladies to keep me stress-free the day of my wedding. Not to mention we had tons of great laughter and reminisced on old times. Since my hair is so difficult to work with, Joanna was confident of getting the hairstyle I was going for. She even took an artificial flower I had with me and basically MacGyver-ed it into a hair accessory to add to my final look. I was beyond impressed of her abilities. If I had to do it all over again, I would still go with Joanna and Reva Salon.

I booked Reva for on-site hair & makeup for my May wedding. They were really great to work with - very friendly and responsive. Tricia & Tracy did an amazing job with everyone's hair and make up & really listened to each person if they wanted to change something a bit in order to make sure everyone was completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend them!

I used this salon for my nails and my mom and sister-in-law had their hair done here for the wedding. I loved the way my nails turned out, but the process was very disorganized for my mother and sister-in-law. They lost my mom's appointment at one point, luckily she had called to check on it or she wouldn't have had an appointment day-of. They did not keep track of how much she owed, and somehow they were logged as a "wedding" even though neither of them were the bride or bridesmaids. This may the process even more challenging because they had to put a deposit down on their appointments from out of state. The morning of my wedding, they didn't know how much was owed. They said they'd call my mom to figure it out later. They called DURING photos that afternoon, and asked when that day she would have time to pay them. We were appalled that they would have such poor service, knowing that it was her daughter's wedding day. If they had their shit together she would have paid them on time in the morning. It's unfortunate that it is such a mess, the actual stylists were very nice.

I was very pleased with my hair and makeup. I tend to keep it real simple with my hair and don't wear much makeup, so I was concerned about getting done up too much. The stylists listened to me and kept my look very natural. They were even able to come to the cabin I was staying at with my bridal party, which made the morning so nice. We were sitting around in our pajamas, sipping mimosas and getting our hair done. It was so relaxing and a memorable way to start my wedding day.

Joanna and melissa were great. They did makeup for me and our bridal party and moms. Everyone looked beautiful and Joanna was so nice and even helped take some stress off of me at times.

My airbrush makeup was done by Richelle from Reva. She spent a lot of time with me at my trial to get it just right. Reva also does hair and make up on location. Richelle came to my parents house the day of the wedding. I was very happy with the results and really enjoyed getting to know Richelle. So has a wonderful personality and is very calm and sweet! Thank you Richelle!!!

Joanna was absolutely wonderful to work with. Very enthusiastic and truly loves her job! Her assistant did an amazing job on my hair and make-up and was very easy to work with. We ended up having some family members ask for a service the day of the wedding and they were extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that our beauty was picture perfect and were a pleasure to spend our morning with. We had some very strong personalities in the room and they treated everyone with great professionalism and concern.

Well their salon is so accommodating! They served wine while we came in for our mani & pedis. They are a bit on the high side for their services but they make up for it in kindness of employees and style in which they do business.

The girls at Reva salon are a dream. JoAnne is their wedding coordinator and she was so great. Made sure we had everything we needed before the day of. They really go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. The salon is beautiful and they let you bring whatever food & drinks you want. They also do on-site which I love but we chose not to do because it was easier for us. I would do it again!

This is for REVA SALON - not sure why it says Frenz & Co. I worked with JoAnna. She was great at our meeting (very talkative, as expected from a salon). As far as communication goes, she was sometimes difficult to get a hold of and quoted the wrong price a couple times. Also, she was emailing me from her husband's email address and he did the responding sometimes (which I thought was weird). The day of, JoAnna and one of her associates came to Silver Beach Hotel to do hair for me, my 4 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers. They got there on time, was finished on time, and brought tons of products. My mother and I were both VERY pleased with our hairstyles- so why the not so great rating? I was torn in my rating because I was very happy but the rest of the ladies were definitely not. Two of my girls were not pleased at all with their final style and asked that it be fixed (they did so, but reluctantly & with attitude). The other girls just dealt with being not completely satisfied because they didn't want to fuss & fight about it. I will say, there was only one hair style that I thought didn't look good and wasn't fixed.. but that was my opinion & I have to include how everyone felt in this review, not just me. A couple of the styles didn't hold at all which was a huge disappointment. Above all, the worst part was that my dad was in the hallway and heard JoAnna and her associate talking smack about us when they were done and on their way leaving our room. They were saying how difficult it was to work with some of the girls and how we didn't know anything about hair, etc. Overall, even though my mother and I were very happy with our style I think they charged way too much to only have 2 out of 7 of us leave happy. Due to this, I would NOT RECOMMEND this vendor. I would suggest either a different salon or hiring one of the plenty of non-salon affiliated people in the greater SW Mi area.

Gwen was amazing! Hair and makeup perfect-she really listens to what you'd like. The day of, I felt as if the salon was slightly overbooked with 3/4 weddings one of the stylists was a bit rude when one of my bridesmaids had makeup on when entering the salon because it was going to take too long for her to wipe it off-huh?

3 stylists from REVA came to our church for our wedding and it was absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, joyful, and did a terrific job. I loved having them on location- it made our day very relaxed and avoided the stress of traveling to the salon!

Melanie came in on Saturday, normally her day off, to do my practice run and my wedding style! She is a great lady and really fun to talk to, but she knows her stuff too. The salon doesn't look like much on the outside, but once you walk in you'll see what I mean. It's a very high class salon. High class with a small town price. Can't beat that! Oh, and my hair kept the curl all day but wasn't crunchy with hairspray. All 20+ inches were curled beautifully and my hair was still soft that night. She did up-do's for the other four girls, and no one's style was the same, but they all looked fantastic.

Stephanie did my hair and make up. She was so professional yet personal. She came to the hotel with everything and ready to go. It was a pleasure to work with her and Erik!
