r most quoted line is "this is what I've done in the past, so it should work for you". When we challenged her to personalize our wedding to our tastes, she quoted us an increased price, which we agreed to, and we still only received a "mood board" with images that we had previously sent to Elise. As the wedding got closer, her support dwindled and we heard from Elise less and less, leading up to Elise walking away from our wedding the week before it took place (with all of our money). Our team of wedding vendors were shocked at how poorly we had been treated and asked us to let others know. If you want a rinse and repeat wedding, you could consider hiring Elise, but I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere and hire a planner that genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience based on what you dream of, instead of recycling what Elise has taken credit for in the past.

She gave the BEST vendor recommendations (everything was flawless), she was always professional, and probably one of the most organized and prepared people I've ever met in my life when it came to planning an event. I also don't know how I compared to other brides, but you better believe I would tend to blow up her phone, and she always responded quickly in a timely manner and always had an answer for me, always. Not to mention, everything I asked about she was already 2 steps ahead of me. For instance, the weather was questionable on wedding day so I mentioned it to Elise, and she reassured me she had been tracking it on multiple platforms for days/weeks. As far as her sources were concerned, she told me it was going to be ok and she wasn't worried about it (but would let us know if she was which gave me MUCH relief lol and it indeed was perfect with the rain stopping just in time as she predicted). I honestly do not know what my husband and I would have done without Elise! I've heard of other experiences with planners, and at one point worked at a wedding venue myself, and will say there's a reason why vendors and brides alike love working with Elise because she is one of the best in the biz in her area at what she does! We even contracted out her husband to build our wedding altar piece and it was just freaking BEAUTIFUL, everything we asked for! I could go on and on, but will just say our day was MAGICAL. We owe a lot of that to Elise, and all the other vendors she recommended for that matter, for helping us to have just the most unforgettable day of our lives. Can't thank you enough Elise! You're the absolute BEST!!! Thank you for helping us create/have our dream wedding :)

The promptness turned out to be something that I was incredibly grateful for when needing advice on thousands of tiny decisions. There are so many other wedding vendors that are not prompt. Calmness: Elise and her team are cool, calm, and collected. Wedding planning was one of the most stressful things I've done, especially because so much of it is foreign. After every phone call or email I had with her, I went away feeling much more calm and secure in the decisions. My husband, who was a bit of a grump through the whole wedding planning process (he LOVED the wedding, though!), also really liked Elise because she was so cool, calm, and collected. Expertise: She was there to not only help with the look and feel of the day but also provide advice on etiquette, schedule and flow of the whole wedding day, and brought up things I had never even considered. When you ask her a question you get a very precise, well thought out, and straightforward answer. She is truly an expert. Design: She is capable of quickly grasping your vision without ever meeting you in person. I was amazed at how well she nailed the design board. I literally had tears in my eyes when I saw it. The colors, the flowers, the tablescapes, everything. The best part, too, is that she doesn't present a design that won't fit within your budget. She keeps the budget in mind when planning design ideas. That was also a big relief and truly requires an expert. The end result on the wedding day was incredibly stunning and everything I could have ever hoped for. Everyone thinks that their own wedding is the best and I'm no different but it definitely would not have been the same without Elise and her team. Thank you for creating such a wonderful day for me, my husband, and all of our friends and family.

From getting the bridal party ready and providing instructions to our families, to overseeing the set up at the venue, to the overall flow of the day, we felt completely taken care of by Elise and her team – a priceless feeling when you’re getting married. When we arrived at the venue, we were blown away by how beautiful everything looked. Our ceremony was outside, and an unforeseen rainstorm opened up on us right as things started. Revel and Bloom was so professional at that moment that it almost felt like the rain was supposed to happen. They transitioned our guests into the tent smoothly and efficiently, as though it were on purpose. Somehow the secondary ceremony site ended up being even more beautiful and intimate than the outdoor site. It ended up being one of our most favorite parts of the day! We had so much fun during our reception, and as they say, everything was a blur because it went so fast. Revel and Bloom made sure that things happened on schedule and that everyone was where they needed to be. They were also excellent about reminding us to eat during dinner since we spent most of our time saying hello to guests. Revel and Bloom’s professionalism, both client facing and with our vendor team, was superb. There's no question that we wouldn’t have had such a wonderful wedding experience without them. Because we hired Revel and Bloom, we found we were able to actually enjoy our day as bride and groom, without any stress or responsibilities. I highly recommend Revel and Bloom for any couple that wants to have a beautiful, memorable wedding in Colorado. We feel so fortunate to have had them by our side on our most special day.

From our very first meeting, she was kind, courteous, and really receptive to and respectful of our unique vision of our wedding day. Even before her services technically kicked in, she was responsive with questions, recommended vendors and helped us make decisions. As soon as we had all of our vendors booked, Elise totally took over; she confirmed orders, scheduled deliveries, reminded us of payment due-dates, and recommended gratuities. She also helped us to set up a timeline for the evening, which made us really think through what we wanted to include, and what we still needed to do before the wedding day. And of course she took care of everything day-of. This included set-up, coordinating vendors, and clean-up, obviously, but Elise also took the time to check in with my husband and myself, as well as all SIX of our parents multiple times throughout the night. She helped us execute our dream vision for our wedding, and also provided a much-needed calming presence for us during planning and on the day of our wedding. She thought of so many things I would have never thought of, and totally took the pressure off of us and our families. Elise is a really wonderful person to work with, and Revel + Bloom does an incredible job supporting your wedding, whatever your needs/vision may be.

I initially chose her because she seemed to really hear what I was saying and understand the issues I was anticipating with family dynamics and planning hurdles and she specialized in mountain weddings. Full disclosure- I'm a very "Type A" person, but I'm also somebody who when given too many choices becomes paralyzed with "What If" scenarios and the fear of choosing the wrong vendors was so terrifying to me so I knew I needed a full service planner from day one. I was also trying to plan more up front so I could relax a little and have my top choices for vendors so I asked a lot of Elise two years out which in hindsight was kind of nuts. Elise was very sensitive to my budgetary concerns and began her process by having me and my now husband prioritize all categories of a wedding (Music, flowers, attire, paper, etc.) and then built us a customized budget. NO MATTER WHO YOU CHOOSE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXERCISE!!! It was so necessary for us to figure out what was important to both of us and then when it came down to spending a lot of money at once on vendors it was much easier to say "That's ridiculous, I'm not spending that" or "It's ___ over budget, but it's the most important thing to me". After building our budget, Elise and I had multiple design meetings and shared pictured back and forth so every vendor she recommended was intended to match my aesthetic and vision and she pared down the options for me so I wouldn’t be overwhelmed. I could go on for pages about how incredible Elise was to work with and everything she put into our wedding and the planning process to take stress off of me and put me at ease. There’s no telling how many hours she spent behind the curtain working to put things together for me that I’m unaware of. The day of our wedding Elise arrived and the first words out of her mouth were “How are you doing?” and she genuinely was a precious friend to me in the whole process. She was my pitbull when I needed a boss to handle a situation, and she was my shoulder when I needed to freak out to somebody, she was my encyclopedia for all things wedding and she did all of it with a calm, cool, collected manner beyond her years. Her two assistants she brought to my wedding were there for anything and everything I needed with smiles and the most sincere care for how things were going and what they could do to make my day run smoothly and perfectly. I know I’m forgetting other key things that are important to other brides but I promise Elise and her team are worth their weight in gold!! From her selections of vendors, the meetings the attended with me, every little e-mail, text, and call she responded to at odd hours, managing my expectations and encouraging me along the way… she’s a true friend and precious woman with a beautiful eye for design who is PHENOMENAL at her job and loves what she does and it shows.

I was lucky enough to find Revel + Bloom to help us with our Day of Coordination. Elise was amazing every step of the way. The things that we were stressed about: flow of the wedding, timeline, order of events, ceremony content - were all things that Elise didn't even bat an eye at and she was there to help us with all the direction that we needed. Knowing that on the day of our wedding we didn't have to lift a finger at the venue was so amazing. We were able to be with all our loved ones and enjoy the time together without having to worry about any of the setup. Elise was there to help coordinate all the vendors and make sure that all lines of communication were open. Throughout the wedding she and her team were there anytime we needed them to switch something around, ask questions, and make sure behind the scenes everything was moving on time and in an organized manner. Revel + Bloom allowed us, and our family to truly enjoy our special day without having to worry about all the responsibilities that go along with planning a party for 100. Revel + Bloom truly has a passion for what they do and it is apparent in every interaction that we had with them. We respect them as people and a company and we cannot recommend them enough.

From the jumpoff, I told Elise that I was going to be a very hands-on bride and the majority of her work would involve would involve the day-of execution. She completely GOT me. Throughout the entire planning process, she guided me whenever necessary and really helped me stick to deadlines (like many other people out there, I'm a procrastinator)! On the big day, considering there were so many moving parts, R&B did a stellar job ensuring that everything went as smoothly as possible. For example, they went out of her way to pick up and return some rentals for my "Red Carpet Movie Premier" wedding. I was seriously impressed with how calm and collected Elise stayed from beginning to end. My husband was shocked by how stress-free I was on our wedding day! When all was said and done, Andrew and I looked at each other and could not believe that it had gone so well. We were sad it was over and wanted to get married again the next day. Many people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It was definitely the best wedding I have ever been to! Elise and her team bring so much to the table. Rest assured that if you go with R+B, you will have a wedding of a lifetime. <3

We had a wedding that was partially Military and partially non-traditional and she nailed both aspects with what seemed be a natural ease.
