Donna and her team are the absolute best! We hired Revel and Company for month-of coordination. If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator, I'd highly recommend it. As an out-of-town bride, it was so helpful to get her expertise leading up to the big day and made the weeks ahead of my wedding much less stressful. On the day of, Donna did an amazing job on-site at the venue making sure all of our flowers/decor/etc. looked nice. Her assistant, Alyssa ,was also SO helpful coming to our getting ready location, making sure we got to the venue on time and she saved my dress on multiple occasions. Our wedding would not have been the same without them there!

Look no further: you've found your wedding planner. Donna & her team are out of this world. From the moment we were engaged, we knew we wanted to get married in New Orleans. However, not being local to the area, we were worried that choosing vendors would present a problem. Enter Revel & Company. Our first phone call with Donna completely alleviated any anxiety we had. She was immediately on the same page with us regarding the wedding we were envisioning and had so many wonderful suggestions and ideas. The nerves were laid to rest, and we were actually EXCITED for our wedding because we could tell we were in the best hands. Fast forward to the day of: Donna and her team met up with us that morning. I got to see the bouquets and boutonnieres she designed and crafted herself (we were both excited to incorporate sustainable arrangements into the ceremony and reception) and I was taken aback with how beautiful they were! For the rest of the day, everything was smooth sailing thanks to Donna & her awesome team. An out of the blue storm threatened our good time (and even our 2nd Line) but they didn't skip a beat and were able to keep the party moving without a hiccup. The attention to detail, organization, and kindness shown by Revel & Company was outstanding and everyone was an absolute joy to be around. Our guests had an incredible time, and we couldn't have pulled it off without Donna. All the credit and thanks to R&C!

Donna and her team were above amazing! This was a destination wedding for us and since we were not in town Donna helped by getting us in touch with all the vendors that would meet our needs. Everything that I would never have thought of or worried about from the day I hired Revel & Company until after my wedding was handled with complete grace! Donna was amazing to work with from start to finish. We booked a partial planning package with her just before lockdown hit last February. We had had the church and photographer booked before we hired her, but she assisted us with ideas or suggestions for most everything else and kept us informed during the pandemic as far as what was going on in Nola (we live outside DC so couldn’t come in hardly at all this past year), so we weren’t surprised during the thick of things - just got married this April and I honestly can’t believe what a dream it turned out to be! We finally met her in person after months of conversing and she just exceeded all of our wedding expectations. We had a couple things left to put together at the last minute, but my bridesmaids helped a bit and Donna took care of every last detail with the church and reception. Seriously, if you are on the fence about hiring a planner, at least hire someone day of. It will be the best thing you do that day and you won’t have to worry when you’re supposed to be celebrating. Donna is a pro and we were so lucky to have found her- especially in this crazy awful year! We love her - Thanks again!

Donna Bruner hands-down is the best wedding planner. She thought of every little detail. I truly cannot imagine my wedding without her. 100% recommend! Donna and her team with Revel and Company are AMAZING! I am originally from New Orleans, but don't live there anymore. I thought long & hard about hiring a wedding planner and fitting that expense into my budget, and I am SO GLAD we chose to work with Donna! Seriously, it may have been one of the best decisions we made. We LOVED her from the moment we met her (including my mom!) She was so proactive, super responsive, and really "got" my vision and helped bring it to life. I am a worrier by nature but I felt 100% stress free on wedding day because I knew she had thought out every detail and had it all taken care of. She also had some great tips & vendor recommendations to save money in areas that were less important to us, and she just seems to simplify everything! It was such a great experience getting to know and work with her!

The BEST, honestly. I really don't know where to begin when it comes to Revel & Co. Events LLC! If it had not been for Donna and her team, I am not sure if my wedding would have happened, seriously. I was planning a destination wedding in NOLA from Florida, during a worldwide pandemic and then the week of my wedding a category 4 storm, Hurricane Delta, was projected to hit NOLA! Y'all, my anxiety severe, but I had Donna - so all was well. She was the definition of prepared, she had plans A, B, C, D, E, F - I kid you not. The pricing for events is more than fair and flexible to fit any type of event whether it is a small intimate gathering or a larger, grandiose affair. She is personable and was perfect to keep my Groom and his Groomsmen in line the day of! She is professional and very organized but also so friendly and down to earth you will feel like you've known her for years. Donna's knowledge of her venues, vendors, decor and great photo ops is incomparable. She had recommendations for everything and every vendor I contacted spoke highly of Donna! Donna plays no games about her Brides and/or Guests of Honor, be clear on that. She will make sure it is right and if it isn’t, she will get it right with a quickness. I really could go on and on about how much I adore this company. If you are considering Revel & Co., please, stop hesitating and contact them! You will not regret it one bit. I am forever indebted to Donna and forever a supporter!

Donna was incredible in helping me navigate my Covid wedding! She proactively checked in as the situation was unfolding months before to see how I was doing and what she could help with. We ended up sticking with our original date and venue, but had to make many changes to the vendors, logistics, etc. given the circumstances, and she was so helpful in providing suggestions and advice along the way. I had trouble getting ahold of some of my vendors, and Donna was more than willing to step in and handle them for me to take it off my plate. The day went perfectly, and I don’t know how I could have done it without her!!!

We were so glad we hired Revel and Company to help us make our wedding day smooth and enjoyable. Donna and her team are amazing!  We chose the "month of coordination." Donna met with us before our big day, at the venue, so we could go over details and plans. You can tell she's experienced and is in her element. She was so helpful - always quick to respond to any questions we had, gave us great advice in several different areas, and was just so friendly. She's a joy to work with and be around. A day or two before the wedding, she came and picked up all the things we had put together and needed at the reception and ceremony - like memory table pictures, favors, the sign in book and Polaroid's to go with that, special cocktail napkins we were using, etc. Having her take that to the venue and have it all taken care of and put in it's place on the day of was a huuuge help. She helped us coordinate the rehearsal and even took pictures on her phone that she gave us later. All around, we recommend her. We can't say enough how much she helped us and how much of a great addition to any wedding she is. You will be so glad you hired and worked with her.

Donna was absolutely wonderful! We live in Pennsylvania and had a destination wedding in New Orleans. My husband and his family are Australian and flew in for the wedding. We relied on Donna so heavily for her insight into decor, having a second line, and chasing vendors and she was excellent. We had some Pinterest boards for the look we would like, and Donna already owned a lot of the decor. We definitely could not have done the wedding with out her. She was calm, laid back, meticulous and so so beyond helpful. We would highly recommend her for any events in the New Orleans area.

Donna is hands down the BEST! I am so thankful for her. I was a destination bride from out of state and you have to put a lot of trust in your coordinator when you aren't able to physically be there in person. Donna stayed on top of everything!...every vendor, and me too! She recommended ways to save money too, which is very helpful when you are footing your own wedding bill! Oh my gosh. Donna Bruner is the best, plain and simple! First and foremost, Donna is just the loveliest woman: warm, kind, thoughtful, accommodating, and SO generous. So it’s no wonder that with all of these qualities and more, she makes the best wedding planner! When my now-husband and I decided that we wanted to plan a mini-destination wedding in New Orleans (we’re New Yorkers), we knew we were going to need on-the-ground help. Donna was just the support we needed. Donna is so knowledgable about all things wedding-related, including all the specific quirks that come with planning a wedding in New Orleans (who knew police permits for parades were a thing!). She was so helpful at helping us identify the best vendors for our style and budget, and helped us negotiate discounts and avoid deals that simply didn’t make sense for us. During our trips to town, she would offer us rides around town to see vendors, always giving us her undivided attention, and always making us feel special and heard. Also, feels like a given but worth mentioning: she is SOOO on it! Nothing fell through the cracks on her watch (I definitely could NOT be trusted with the same lol!). All in all: our wedding would not have happened without Donna. My only regret is that I can’t give her more than 5 stars!! We recommend her wholeheartedly.

As the mother of the bride, I can't say enough wonderful things about Donna. In retrospect, hiring her was the best decision we made. She not only directed us to options that helped us save money but she helped save my sanity. The challenge we faced was planning a destination wedding from New York. Logistically, she made everything easier for us in her role as our on-the-scene expert. She knows everyone and gave us the best recommendations for venues and vendors. I'm a bit of a control freak but the more I worked with Donna, it became clear that she was a true true professional and even more organized than I was. She was calm and competent when dealing with minor mishaps and unforeseen issues, such as needing 10 heat lamps two days before the wedding because of a freak cold spell. While my daughter and I were going back and forth deciding if we needed them or not, thankfully, Donna had already reserved the last lamps available as everyone else planning an event came to realize the need. That's just one example of Donna troubleshooting for us. At the actual wedding ceremony and reception, I was able to enjoy myself because Donna was in charge. She kept everything on schedule (so important for proper timing and flow) and executed all of our plans perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Donna, personally and within her professional capacity. She's a peach! I am truly appreciative of everything she did for us. I had my photographer cancel and Donna jumped right in finding me a replacement and had the issue resolved within hours. Honestly, I would have been lost without her and I cant express how much of a help she was for our special day.

Y’all! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing and on top of everything Donna is! I am a very organized person and I was pretty much done with planning a month and a half before my wedding. Along the way Donna helped me make sure that everything on my checklist was done on time ... or early. She is always a text or phone call away if you need her. I’m not sure how to even properly express how amazing Donna was. Without her, my destination wedding would not have been as flawless as it was. She ran everything, thought about things ahead of time, and responded to all my random thoughts and inquiries at all hours of the day/night. Throughout the year long planning process, Donna morphed from my “wedding planner” into my friend. We chatted daily about life and she became a confidant. She handled business though. Sometimes that required tempering my expectations and other times that included her figuring out how to get something done within the budget I had. Heck, sometimes that included her reminding ME of my budget! Lol. She was way more than I had expected when I hired her. She went over and above and ran my welcome party aNd attended the next day “trash the dress” session with me because I felt more comfortable with her there making sure things ran smoothly. One of my regrets is that I never got a picture of her and I from my big day. She was as much a guest as she was a planner. Do yourself a favor and call Donna. She was fair, professional, and freakin’ wonderful!

TL;DR - 10/10 would absolutely book again. Hiring Donna as our wedding day coordinator was the best money I spent during the entire wedding planning process. I'm a Type A control freak and was extremely wary of relinquishing my control over the wedding day logistics - but Donna blew me away! She completely understood our vision & vibes and somehow made everything come together flawlessly. She was on top of everything - from the decor to the ceremony rehearsal to the last minute snafus. (Bonus: She doesn't bat an eye at ~strange~ wedding plans, such as "our guestbook attendant will be a cardboard cutout of John Cena.") Donna was such an awesome, friendly, supportive person to have around on the Big Day - my entire wedding party loved her! - and I seriously don't think I could have made it through the process without her help. If you're on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator like I initially was, DON'T BE. BOOK HER.
