I had a birthday party earlier this month and contacted Jenna to provide the decorations and overall theme for my party. It would be a 21 person dinner party and we chose on the Latin theme and with her brilliance she thought of bringing in pallets to fit my entire party. We were cozy on the grass with blankets and pillows. We were underneath this beautiful tree and had roped lanterns from the branches for additional light among torches throughout the back yard. Her execution is exceptional and her attention to detail is what you hope to expect when hiring a professional. I can't wait for my next party to hire her again.

Jenna with Revel and Roots is AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. My fiancé and I decided to elope last minute and then host a small reception, and Jenna was instrumental in making it happen. She took care of every last detail and made the planning process and day-of an absolute breeze. Highly highly recommend Jenna and team at Revel & Roots. Jenna helped make my wedding day vision into a reality. Day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing; Jenna and team literally did everything! Greeted guests, took temperature checks, set up and decorated, managed vendors, flipped the ceremony site to a beautiful dinner, cleaned up, and ultimately made sure the day ran smooth and everyone had a great time! Jenna was the best wedding planner we could have asked for!! She was able to coordinate everything for us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic with no hiccups or speed bumps at all (at least that we knew of). Jenna is just wonderful to work with. She takes all her couple's needs, vision, and budget and creates the most unique-to-them wedding day ever. She is on top of every detail on the wedding day so that everything runs so smoothly and you don't have to worry about one thing. Working with Revel+Roots was an absolute breeze. They not only have amazing style, but the organizational skills to make it both stunning and seamless. Jenna and her team are fun to work with, and their connections and relationships with other vendors means everyone feels like a team working together.

At the end of the day, our big day would not have happened without Jenna. She immediately got my “vibe” and provided appropriate vendors to make my vision come through along the way. She also was great and reeling me in when I needed it- which was pretty often near the end! As we were nearing the big day, I was telling her to just make the decisions because I trusted her that much. I couldn’t imagine what our actual wedding day would have been like without her. No one asked me a single question all day! Walking out and seeing my dreams and vision come true in real life was unreal. My husband and I are so thankful for Jenna. We know our day wouldn’t have been what it was without her.

Jenna is a gift from the Wedding Planning Gods!!! Revel and Roots was referred, along with a list of other coordinators, by my wedding venue. Jenna immediately set herself apart by being insanely responsive. I work in a business where responsiveness is key, so it means a lot to me. She immediately set up a time to meet in person and it was love at first sight! Jenna understood my thoughts for the day of and went far above just month of duties. THIS GIRL IS CONNECTED! She referred me to ALL of my additional vendors. To say I'm not the most organized bride is an understatement. But luckily, I had Jenna. She kept me organized and helped out tremendously. My wedding day was such a breeze and I owe it all to her. If I could change one thing, I would go back and hire Jenna to plan my full wedding! Thank you for everything!

Talk about a girl boss.. Jenna is exactly that! We’re so happy we had Jenna by our side throughout the wedding planning process. Jenna kept us in line and on track with all the big decisions and shared her input and professional advice. She saw our vision and made sure it came to life! The day of our wedding Jenna was so on top of it. She made sure everything ran perfectly! Naturally, there were some things forgotten but Jenna was right there to resolve any hiccups! Not only was Jenna there to take charge and run the show she also took care of so many of the details that you just shouldn’t have to think about on your big day. From reception pick up to packing up our belongings and putting them in our hotel room, she had it covered! When making this decision, it was honestly Jenna’s personality that sealed the deal. She has such great energy which eases all your worries instantly. Wedding planning can be hectic and stressful, but after talking with Jenna those feelings disappeared. Her confidence and enthusiasm is exactly what the wedding process needs and I’m so thankful for her!!

Jenna and I worked together for 8 months to plan my dream wedding in Aspen, CO! She has a proprietary system where we have checklists, budgets, mood boards, design layouts and more to keep us on track, and has strong relationships with vendors to find the best fit for what my vision was. She truly capitalized weekend of, kept all guests informed with detailed outlines and how to prep for an altitude wedding. Her presence, organization and attitude weekend of was remarkable and the wedding went off without a hitch!

Jenna was pivotal in planning and executing our perfect wedding day. We began working with Jenna very early on in the planning process and she made the process of visiting different venues and choosing our favorite quick and efficient. Along the way, it was abundantly clear that she has built strong working relationships with many talented vendors in the industry. I took her recommendations on photographer, musicians, stylists, calligraphers, and so much more. Her relationships and expertise saved me a ton of time and personal research in the planning process. Most importantly, Jenna was everything we could've asked for on the day of our wedding. Her vibe was fun yet focused and I didn't lift a finger or worry about a single detail. Jenna was wonderful on the day of our wedding! She managed everything from getting ready to clean up and EVERYTHING in between. We did not worry about a single thing on the day of our wedding and were able to focus on being together and with our family. A perfect day!

Jenna was everything that we could have asked for in a wedding planner and more! When narrowing down a wedding planner, we knew we wanted to find someone who we could connect with and who would make our wedding unique, original, and personalized to us. We instantly connected with Jenna because she is personable, kind, outgoing, and easy to get along with. Jenna also made it clear that she loved originality and would make sure that our wedding was everything we dreamed of it being. After we decided to go with Revel & Root Events, we met with Jenna in person to talk about all of the things we must have, would like to have, and those that were less important to us. Shortly after our meeting, she emailed us an organized budget spreadsheet and a timeline that was extremely thorough, both of which we referenced throughout our wedding planning process. Jenna provided great recommendations for vendors from the midwest and out west, all of which were talented and wonderful to work with. A vendor worth mentioning and recommended by Jenna was our videographer, Johnny B Films. Johnny B was amazing, extremely talented, kind, caring, a blast to work with and made our wedding day even more special and memorable! We loved working with him and would highly recommend him :) Jenna was also willing to reach out to any Chicago vendor we were interested in. She was able to get vendor discounts and went above and beyond to be a part of all email chains with the vendors. Jenna was responsive and answered all of my 100s of questions. She was honest and direct which is exactly what we needed. She helped us to narrow down our options and make decisions. Although Jenna did not live in Chicago, she stayed in the loop and was on top of it throughout the wedding planning process. She did a great job reminding me not to stress out about the little things. So much so that on my wedding day, I called Jenna worrying about something and she said, “Today is your special day. You are not going to worry about a single thing. Please know that I am taking care of everything.” It was the greatest feeling to know someone else was taking care of all of the little details so that we could relax. Our wedding day was truly magical and a dream come true!! My parents, as well as my husband and I could not have been more pleased with our experience with Jenna. We loved working with her and would recommend Revel & Roots Events to everyone!!!

My daughter got engaged June 2017. She wanted her wedding to take place in downtown Chicago, August 2018. I had a friend that told me about a wedding planner that she knew and recommended. The company name was Revel & Roots. I told my daughter to contact the company. She did, and spoke with Jenna the co-founder. Jenna met with my daughter and her then fiance. They just hit it off. They both felt so comfortable with Jenna. They felt she understood how they envisioned there wedding day to feel. Jenna spoke with them about a vision board and put together all there wedding day wishes. Even though Jenna's company was located in Denver, CO. She was in Chicago often. She set up all the appointments for us to meet with her and all the vendors. Such as florists, linen companies and design teams. She wanted you to be able to see first hand what the flowers looked like, how they smelled. Also to pick out your vases and candle holders or any other accessories you might need. She also wanted you to be able to see, touch, and feel the textures of the linens and the colors. Jenna knows everyone and everyone knows Jenna. She will try to find ways to get the exact look you want for the best price. She helped and guided us through every question we had. Starting with venues, save the date cards, invitations, bridal dresses, bridesmaid dresses, bands, photographers, ceremony and menu cards, table numbers, favors, whatever it is she is there to help you. If she doesn't know she will find someone that does. It did not matter. On the day of the wedding we found out my daughter's bracelet was a little too big. My daughter was panicking Jenna said don't worry just give it to me and I will get it sized. I didn't think it was possible but sure enough she got it sized and had it back to my daughter right before photographs. My daughter also wanted a videographer. Jenna told us about a guy in California that she knew. Well let me tell you Jenna was right again, his name was Johnny B. The most talented,amazing man with the BEST personality. Also her choice for the Design team Ashley from Exquisite Designs was hands down the BEST designer in town. The wedding was held August 25, 2018 in downtown Chicago. The wedding was Picture Perfect and Jenna was with us the ENTIRE day. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her and all of her expertise. The day was the best day of my daughter and new son-in-laws life. I cannot say enough about Jenna and her company Revel & Roots. I would highly recommend them. Jenna was an excellent wedding coordinator for our wedding. She went above and beyond in many regards, including helping me pick out our engagement photo outfits, spending a day with me to help pick out our decor, and developing our centerpieces. She was responsive, and always willing to correspond over texts and to answer the phone at all hours. She provided great recommendations for vendors and was in contact with our vendors regularly (our wedding was a destination wedding). She put us in touch with a wonderful musician who altered his schedule to make it so he could play at our wedding because of his strong working relationship with Jenna! She consistently went out of her way to help alleviate our stress the week prior to the wedding, including coming to our house to pick up decor and driving it to our wedding venue herself. She truly excels on the day of the event, managing chaos with calm composure (and keeping me calm, which was no easy feat). She also adapted quickly and seamlessly to last minute changes. Additionally, she was my makeup artist, helping me feel beautiful and confidant. After getting my wedding photos, I am even more impressed with her talents in this regard. She is enthusiastic, extremely supportive, and a joy to be around. We highly recommend Jenna as a wedding coordinator and are excited to see her business expand! Thank you!!

I had the absolute pleasure of having Jenna as my wedding planner and honestly, I don't know what we would have done without her! A wedding day should run smooth and seamless and that's exactly what Jenna provided. She was so on-the-ball with everything from the timeline, to vendor set-up, to helping with day-of decorations, etc. We were in constant communication and she made my husband and I feel so important, which is what every bride wants :) Not only that, but she was a HUGE help with recommending vendors and giving tasteful decorating ideas leading up to the wedding. She even saved us money because of the wonderful relationships she has with her preferred vendors. From the very start to the very end of our wedding, Jenna was nothing short of amazing. I met with Jenna about 30 days out before our wedding and she assured me everything was going to be perfect, which it was. I always imagined being nervous before and during my wedding because of things not going to plan or your basic jitters. However, the days leading up and especially the day of I have never been more calm. Everybody kept asking if I was nervous and the honest to god truth was, I wasn’t. I had multiple people comment on how calm and collective I was, which is all due to not having to think about anything, and I mean ANYTHING! This leads me to everything behind the scenes that was taking place before and during the wedding. Before the wedding Jenna made sure to connect and introduce herself to each and every vendor. She sent out a detailed list of everything taking place at the wedding, and down to the minutes of when it was going to take place. I’ve been in multiple weddings and I have never seen a more organized plan and execution of the plan there after. The day of Jenna was running around like a mad woman, while still looking beautiful. How does she do that? lol. It was pouring the day of my wedding and she made sure everybody had everything they needed. She stopped by to drop of some things I needed and I can’t appreciate enough her excitement for my big day. I had bought umbrellas for the day of just incase it continued to rain, but the radar showed it was going to stop so I hadn’t opened them. Because of Jenna’s spunk and innovative ideas she told me we had to use these even if it wasn’t raining. The results were some of the prettiest pictures I’ve ever seen, so thank you again Jenna! I incorporated some more detailed plans during the wedding like a champagne toast outside the church, trolleys/limos for transportation for myself and guests, and even bagpipes leading guests from cocktail hour into the reception. All of these things were executed perfectly. My favorite part was waking up the next day being so happy and joyous of how well the day turned out! I owe this all to Jenna and her hard work! The next couples of days we came home to our house before our honeymoon and found all of our things from the wedding we forgetfully didn’t have a care to think of bringing with us. Jenna had all of our cards, knives used to cute our cake, champagne flutes we used to cheers to, and my beautiful bouquet. Overall working with Jenna was an amazing experience and I would recommend her to anybody! Your passion for your job is obvious and it shows through the beautiful work you do! ❤️❤️

I didn’t know Jenna prior to my wedding but she came to me as a referral. I was more than impressed with her and her dedication to her job. I’m not a detail person so it was crucial that I hired a day of wedding coordinator. I was originally thinking I would do it on my own to save cost but I quickly realized I NEEDED Jenna! I used Jenna @ Revel & Roots as my day-of planner for my wedding on 10/21. I've known Jenna since we were children, and I could not have imagined using anyone else for the biggest day of my life. She was creative in building a unique timeline for us that included some very non-traditional elements we'd asked about, she showed up to all of our important events to help us prepare for the big day, and she ROCKED it on the day of the wedding. She took my vision seriously and worked with our venue, Chrissy @ the Ivy Room, to create a magical space. It was simply spectacular. Throughout the day of the wedding, Jenna handled EVERYTHING. I was never stressed or concerned. The entire event was just magical, and I know I couldn't have done it without her. I'm very grateful for all of the time and energy she dedicated to making sure my day was unforgettable. XO

There are not enough kind words to say about Jenna. She was instrumental in making sure that my wedding was the best day/night of my life! She is completely hands on and available 24/7. My husband and I were so incredibly fortunate to have Jenna as our planner for our June 10th wedding!
