The weekend of our wedding it rained like crazy. There was zero chance we were going to be able to take photos outside like we had planned let along have our ceremony outside. Wendy and team jumped into action. She worked with our photographer to get a permit to take photos at the 21C Art Hotel downtown which was gorgeous and I am obsessed with our photos. They are better than I could have imagined. We also had to pivot our wedding ceremony because of the rain. We met with Wendy and the venue coordinator and came up with a plan B that was even better than plan A. Because of this pivot we were the first couple ever to get married on the Sky Bridge from the Science Center to the Planetarium!

wedding are usually the most stressful time for the bride and groom, but thanks to Wendy and her team, I got to turn my brain off. Wendy took care of all of my vendor communications, organized our schedule, and addressed fires without me having to lift a finger. The day of the wedding I didn’t have to answer a single question. Wendy orchestrated the whole wedding and I just got to enjoy the day. I got many compliments from family and friends about how smooth the wedding was. ith local vendors, friendly, experienced, and a good balance between accommodating our needs while also guiding and pushing us away from things based on her experience. Additionally, a couple things made our wedding challenging:
1) Our venue was in an area an hour outside of St. Louis not regularly serviced by vendors
2) The venue had never held a wedding before
3) Our wedding was outdoors
4) We were planning from out of state
5) Our wedding was more like a multi-day vacation for our family and friends involving charter buses, multi-stop tours across several days.
Wendy turned out to be a perfect fit for us. She helped us research vendors and went through multiple back and forths to figure out how they could come out to the venue. She helped us figure out our plan A, B, and C in the event of rain, she read through our contracts and let us know when anything looked overly expensive or uncommon. She listened carefully to our desires for the wedding and found vendors to fit our budget, aesthetic, and mood, all of who turned out to be incredible. On the day(s) of the wedding, we had to navigate the tornado, vendors' trucks stuck in the mud, and to be honest it all went off seamlessly with Wendy's guiding hand. There were tons of vendors coming to and from the site all day long and we as the bride and groom honestly didn't have to pay attention to a thing, which is saying a lot because truly everything had to be brought into this site (it was a glamping location).
Wendy is extremely organized, detail oriented, and most of all I appreciated how deftly she both encouraged our choices and let us know if something seemed more trouble than it was worth. It was so nice to feel like you could really trust her guidance and she was always looking out for our best interests! Her timelines and communication with the vendors were amazing so we didn't have to think about a thing leading up the wedding. She turned what could have been a really chaotic day into one in which all we had to do was enjoy our time with friends and family. She was so thoughtful in every detail, offering to bring little bits that we had forgotten or didn't think about (an easel for display, a fan for me in case it got too hot, a megaphone so we could play games with our friends). She helped us figure out details as small as the length and number of extension cords to buy, and how many splitters to go along with it. She always gave us multiple options for things when I was feeling indecisive (sorry and thank you Wendy!! 😆) and patiently and easily swapped things around if we changed our mind from the tablecloths to start times to the entire tent. She checked in with us and made sure we knew she was always available for a call, text, or video chat if we needed it.
Truly, 100% recommend Wendy to anyone planning their wedding. She was a beacon of calm, decisiveness, knowledge, and experience throughout the process and we are so grateful to her for realizing our vision! My husband and I can genuinely say it was the best few days of our lives -- thank you Wendy!

but had never planned a wedding and knew I wanted someone to take care of all the details on the day. I was deciding between two planners, and chose Wendy because of the awesome software she uses and because she just seemed to click more with my fiancé and me. It was the right choice. Wendy was amazing. If I had a question about logistics or just needed to bounce ideas off of someone, she was always quick to reply. And in the two month lead up to the wedding, she took over everything vendor-related so I just needed to work through my to dos and not worry about that. She read through all our contracts with laser focus, which was super helpful. And she put together an amazing timeline and packet for the day, so vendors and everyone in the wedding party knew where to be and when. The week leading up tot the wedding, she was checking in with me almost daily to make sure I wasn't stressing out and didn't need help with anything. Day of, the team made everything go smoothly. Our venue looked amazing thanks to their decorating and they kept everyone on time. They even jumped in to bustle my very complicated dress. We also used Wendy for our florals and had SO MANY compliments on how good they looked. She designed our wearables and bouquets perfectly and our reception centerpieces and garlands were gorgeous. She even put together a floral garland for the handlebars of the knee scooter my bridesmaid with a broken leg was using - it was perfect! I also cannot get over Wendy's emergency kit - I was expecting a tote bag, but it was a literal trunk full of anything anyone could need the entire day. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and a complete blast for everyone, mostly because of all the work Wendy and her team did to make it run smoothly. I cannot recommend Revel & Wonder enough!

On the day of the wedding, her team accommodated us in every way possible and treated our guests with the upmost respect. As with weddings, things change at the last minute and Wendy was able to be super flexible and offer suggestions until the day of. She works with a lot of vendors and couples in the LGBTQ community and we were very happy to have found her to make our day so special. Matt and Andrea were true extensions of Wendy and did all the small, but important things to make sure everything went smoothly. We wanted our reception event to be stress free and to be true a representation of us and our relationship. Wendy is an expert in the market and her familiarity and experience with hundreds of vendors is a service you can’t put a price on. I would pay for Wendy’s service 100x over just for how helpful it was to have her help us plan everything, but her team SHINED on our wedding day.
Hiring Wendy to coordinate our wedding day was the greatest gift we could have given ourselves and our families. Everyone had the privilege of feeling like guests of honor while Wendy’s team seamlessly ran the show. For us and our parents, it truly got to be a stress-free day focused on family while Wendy’s team handled all the vendor coordination, execution of the timeline, and logistics from setting up the decor at our venue, being the point of contact for vendors, and the best part - having my parents’ car fully loaded at the end of the night so no one was rushing around picking up or taking an early morning trip back to the venue. venue that gave us the freedom to personalize every detail—bringing in our own caterers, a band, and more to match our unique, nontraditional style. This meant managing an overwhelming amount of vendor coordination, and we could never have pulled it off without Wendy. She created detailed timelines and workflows leading up to and including the day of the event. These were lifesavers. She regularly checked in to keep us on track, pointed out things we overlooked (questions for vendors, advice and support for our DIY flowers), and provided excellent vendor recommendations—photographers in particular!
On the wedding day, Wendy and her team worked tirelessly from early morning until close to midnight. They picked up flowers, coordinated vendor deliveries, guided family members, set up both indoor and outdoor spaces, and ensured the entire event flowed seamlessly. The day turned out exactly as we had hoped, and we now have unforgettable memories, thanks in no small part to Wendy.
Last but not least, Wendy is a genuinely kind person who gave us support and reassurance when we needed it most. We deeply appreciated how she tailored everything to make our day as special and unique as we had envisioned.

To say Wendy exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. At the end of our wedding night, my husband and I realized that nothing had gone wrong that day. People warned us that there's always something, but somehow there wasn't for us (but really I know a lot of it was because of Wendy).
From the time we first spoke, I could tell how detail-oriented Wendy is. Leading up to our big day, she asked us tons of questions to make sure she knew what would be happening and when, and even helped us realize there were things we weren't even thinking about that we needed to iron out. She helped us create our timeline for the day, down to the minute and differentiated by vendor, making it easy to know what needed to happen and when. She even sent out a packet to the wedding party with their schedules, responsibilities, and tips for the big day, which my maid of honor loved and used to help keep me on time that morning.
My parents and in laws were extremely impressed with Wendy as well. She got along with all the vendors, those she had worked with before as well as new ones, and carefully navigated the dynamics at our ceremony venue which had its own on-site coordinator.
And not to be forgotten is her amazing talent with floral design. She helped translate my disconnected thoughts on the vision for the floral arrangements, even adjusting course when I completely changed color scheme. She also helped us to stay on budget, and talking through types of flowers and pricing as we came up with our final decisions. Ultimately, she designed and arranged the bouquets, bouttoniers, altar arrangements, sweetheart table arrangement, and reception table florals (a mix of bud vases and small vases, mixed with votives and floating candles along 8 foot tables). The results were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for.
Wendy is so knowledgeable, organized, and on top of things that I had no concerns going into our big day. Plus she was so friendly and easily approachable that if she was stressed, you wouldn't know it! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner, and also recommend her for florals as well.

ns out this was NOT the case for weddings and she came to my aid almost immediately. The check-ins and initial planning were one thing— the day of coordination was a dream. Not one person came to ask me what the next thing on the agenda was or if I could help do something— Wendy anticipated everything and that was the biggest gift by letting me relax and enjoy every aspect of the celebration we had put together (which is usually next to impossible for me). Do not wait and just hire Wendy and her amazing team. It’ll be the best decision you’ll make through the whole wedding process.

ENTIAL Wendy was to me through the whole process.
So, I was a Covid bride, started planning in 2019 (engaged December 2018). I booked Wendy without knowing what was to come. It was honestly, looking back, hands down the best decision I made for the entire wedding. Our original date was in May 2020, and we all know what was going on around that time. Covid. Having to postpone was honestly devastating for me, but Wendy got me through it. She handled all the new contracts, coordinated all of my vendors to see what new dates they had open so that I could keep them if I wanted, talked me through the process and seriously calmed me down, and we rescheduled for December 2020. We planned everything for a second time...and then, the world shut down again. And we had to postpone again. And Wendy came through for me, again. She took the reigns and handled the postponement in a way I could never have done alone, again. I would not have known what to do without her even without Covid, but with that added on top...she was essential. The biggest blessing was having her help through such a turbulent and scary time. I can only imagine how lost, upset, scared and confused I would have been without her help. Hopefully, other brides will not have to deal with Covid postponements going forward, but even without a global pandemic, you still NEED Wendy.
For the service I booked, Wendy helped me as needed while I planned what I wanted for the wedding, and as we got closer she became more and more involved on a day-to-day basis. It was the best of both worlds for me - I got to plan the day exactly how I wanted, and I had this awesome friend (I really do think of her as a friend after all we went through) giving me invaluable advice and help all the way through so that I maximized my budget and picked the best vendors STL had to offer. She was always available to talk to when I needed help. Her planning software and customized timelines were so so helpful and exactly what I needed. Then once we got closer, she really dug her hands into every detail to make sure everything was planned and taken care of to perfection.
Please understand, there are so many details to planning a wedding that the average person just doesn't know, and won't think about. There were so many moments in the planning process that Wendy thought of things that I would say "Oh my god. I wouldn't have even thought of that without you. It just wouldn't have gotten done." So many details of the day that would have gotten missed if it was just me on my own. So many things that were made perfect because she was there, because she knows exactly what needs to be done.
Honestly, my wedding day was the best day of my life. I wish I could go back and do it over again every day. And it was because of Wendy and her staff, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Wendy, I cannot thank you enough. Thank you so much for giving me such a magical, perfect experience. I will never forget you - you deserve all the success in the world. esee all the little things that are going to come up that you will be so grateful you have Wendy to ask advice or help from. She helped us navigate some tricky invite list questions, find vendors that were amazing, saved the day when hair and makeup had to back out last minute, and so much more. Then on the day, she made sure that all the little things were put together, that the vendors were taken care of, that the ballroom looked amazing, that the glass ceremony and decorations we took care of ourselves were set up, that we looked right, that we were relatively on time, that extra shoes showed up at the table and on and on and on.
All those pieces that either family or friends would have to take care of instead of being present with you or that just wouldn't happen - she and her team made it happen and made sure that I, my husband, and our families were able to just bask in the day, enjoy ourselves and be present.
Wendy and her team are absolutely amazing and booking her was 100% one of the best decisions we made during planning. She was worth every penny and then some and she's a fun person who's really great to work with to boot. We cannot recommend Wendy and her team enough.
