If I could give 6 stars, I would happily! Rhiannon and her team are the best in the business, period. We brought on RBC to manage the florals and decor for our May 2023 wedding and are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. Rhi took my vision and made it a gorgeous reality. She and her team are friendly, passionate and responsive, and they're all extremely talented professionals. You'd be lucky to have them be part of your vendor team.

I have been a fan of Rhiannon's work for 5 years – pretty much since the day I met her online. We connected on Facebook, I prowled Instagram to discover every single project she ever worked on, and I spent hours ogling her portfolio. Needless to say, when it came to choosing an event designer and floral designer, Rhiannon was the easiest of all easy choices. Working with Rhiannon is something out of a fairytale. She works SO hard in the background, but never lets you know just how hard she's working. Her long, detailed emails look effortless. Her kind demeanor is the most pleasant, especially when you're stressed out by items on your own to-do list. But most of all, the final product, your wedding, looks like a scene out of a magazine. Rhi works with you to conceptualize your vision, make it feel tangible, and put it into action. She has the absolute best team consisting of others who are just as detail-oriented as she is. Her big-picture, almost-too-big-to-picture, ideas for your wedding become a reality, and she makes it look like a piece of cake. Although I knew I was not her only bride this year, she never made me feel that way. She had office hours that I could rely on, she was quick to get back to important emails and she was thoughtful on emails that were not time-sensitive. During my 12-month process working with Rhiannon, she let me own the pieces of the process that were really important to me, and she had my back on things I wouldn't have even thought about. Most importantly, for me, my wedding was not only a marriage between me and my (now) husband. My wedding was a creative marriage between me and Rhiannon, and we created something so beautiful. I had full trust in her that she would make everything stunning. She had full trust in me that I would get done what I said I would. I loved her style and her approach. She (hopefully) loved my attention to detail and Type-A nature. My creative marriage with Rhiannon will forever go down as one of the greatest pleasures of my life and my professional career. Working with Rhi is a dream and I have waxed poetic about her to anyone that even mentions wedding florals since our wedding two months ago. Her communication was timely with detailed thoughtful responses and she really took the time to understand what I wanted. With her wedding planner background she knew exactly how her flowers would fit into bringing my vision to life. She and her husband were an invaluable part of our vendor team on our wedding day. Our tented wedding got hit with a giant rainstorm a couple hours before the ceremony and they helped literally hold everything together. Her florals are not only beautiful but her attention to detail is meticulous. My bouquet was so stunning and perfectly me that I actually mourned the loss of it for days after all the flowers died. Everything from the bouquets, to the flower arrangements, to the flower pillars she made us was beautifully executed. Rhi wasn’t just a florist to me but an integral part of a team that helped us get married that day.

Rhi and her team were the reason our wedding was absolutely perfect!!!! She brought our entire vision to life and truly is the BEST florist! She created arrangements that were way beyond our expectations. The bridal bouquets were absolutely beautiful and the table centerpieces were perfect. I truly can't put into words how magical our venue looked because of her work. The flowers and details she uses are something I have never seen at a wedding before, it is beyond stunning. Her and her team stayed for our entire wedding to help move the ceremony flowers into the venue so we could repurpose them and even came back at the end of the night to ensure we had flowers to take home! She was sooo professional and always made sure we were happy with every single decision. From someone who is extremely Type A, I was able to trust Rhi and her team wholeheartedly. She helped with all of the logistics from getting the groomsmen their boutonnieres, the parents their flowers, flowers for the cake, etc. She truly helped manage every single detail. As wedding planning always comes along with stresses, she was able to ease all of that for us through her kindness, empathy, and professionalism. Working with her was like working with a best friend! Part of me is sad that my wedding is complete and I won't get to work with Rhi anymore, but I will most definitely be using her for any future events and will be recommending Rhi and her team to anyone and everyone I know who is yet to get married! We are so grateful we found Rhi and her team and will always remember how beautiful our wedding was because of them!

I could write a novel about Rhiannon and what a beautiful, inspirational, badass she is. But for the sake of fellow readers, I’ll do my best to summarize what makes Rhi and her RBC team the absolute best decision you’ll ever make. Firstly, yes, Rhiannon will make your wedding gorgeous. Guaranteed. Your mind will be blown like a million times over when it all comes to life. But Rhi is so much more than a person who makes things pretty. She’s a life coach, couples therapist, and a seriously driven businesswoman who will inspire and motivate you daily. Wedding planning isn’t all flowers and centerpieces- it’s about discovering who you are as a couple. That can be stressful and challenging at times. Rhiannon never judged us, our families, or our needs. We always felt we could be 100% honest with her, and felt safe sharing the most personal of details with her. She helped us discover new ways to communicate and work through problems. We are both forever grateful for Rhiannon and all that she taught us. Alright, onto some logistics: Project Management: My partner and I live in NYC, and decided to have our wedding in Michigan. We both have jobs that require travel and a million meetings a day, so we needed someone to keep us on task and coordinate with vendors. Rhi quickly figured out the best communication plan for us, keeping us informed but not overwhelming us with detail we trusted her to manage. We used project management software to manage our budgets, checklists and guest lists. She’s extremely talented at managing a timeline and enforcing timeliness for everyone involved. Organization: Weddings come with a billion details, all of which come beautifully packaged in documents Rhiannon puts together for every project. It was always very easy to find information or ask Rhiannon about something you forgot. Personalization: Rhi quickly figures out you and your partners’ communication style and taste. It makes conversations and decision-making super efficient. Rhi knew me and my schedule well enough to determine what I could own and what I should outsource. It kept our wedding personal, but manageable. Ultimately we ended up with a celebration that felt like us 100%, without the stress of managing every detail ourselves. Beauty! I can’t think of a better word here- but man everything she touches is just gorgeous. Look at her website! Our ceremony, dinner, and reception were all incredible. I will never ever be able to style a bouquet or a table like she can. Rhi genuinely loves floral design and gets super geeked about all things green. I don’t think any of this feels like work to her. It’s truly her joy and passion to celebrate love and bring it to life in a beautiful, personal way. Budget: Rhi crunched every dollar for every fork and leaf in our wedding plan, and helped us figure out how to get the most for our money. She is transparent about fees and what we are getting for them. She pushed vendors to think outside the box to reduce costs, or provide services to supplement their offerings. If we felt we were getting ripped off by a vendor, she went to bat for us. And she is a boss negotiator. Ultimately, we felt we got everything we hoped for and more with a budget we were comfortable with. Point is- work with Rhi. It’s the best and most important decision you’ll make. Rhiannon was amazing to work with. She is a perfectionist and will take all your concerns and desires into account. I had 100% confidence in her abilities through every step of the design and execution process. As a person with high expectations, she managed to surpass mine every time. There really aren’t enough words to describe how satisfied and pleased I was with her work. You couldn’t hire anyone better. She really knows her stuff. Our wedding day was stunning, better than we had imagined.

Chris and I recently got married on June 23rd, 2018, and Rhiannon (aka Rhi) gave us the perfect wedding. Since we live in NYC, we knew we needed a wedding planner to plan our wedding in Michigan. After a lot of research we found Rhi, and from day one she never let us down. She even met us while she was on vacation in NYC before we decided to book her. What we loved about Rhi was during our first meetup, her passion towards our wedding and the vision she had already created in her mind for us blew us away. It was if she knew us for years, and knew exactly what we liked/hated from discussing our relationship for 20 minutes. After booking her, she started to plan right away and had all of our "main" and "important" vendors booked by June 2017 (trust her vendors she suggests - they're awesome). The entire process was effortless because we were booking and taking care of all the details before 2017 ended, to ensure we didn't get too stressed! There was never any issues we had to work out or discuss with Rhi, which is very rare. I think the most stressful part of the entire planning with her was deciding which beautiful table arrangement and flower decor we would pick. I, the bride, told Rhi how picky I am and how I expect perfect on my wedding day. The flowers, the decor, the seamless transition between ceremony to reception was perfect and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Rhi also made it a point to stay in budget and we only went over by a few thousand which was our fault because we decided to spend more on a few items last minute. What I love about Rhi is she treats everyone with respect and is so positive. She went out of her way to make sure Chris and I were good, but also took the time to get to know our families and communicated with them during the entire planning period. I could write a book on how amazing Rhi and her team is, but I'll leave you with this, if you need a planner, pick Rhi, she will give you the most amazing wedding and it will be perfect!

I am not sure where to begin or how to compile the words to express the amount of gratitude & love both Albert & I have for sweet Rhi & her amazing Rhiannon Bosse Celebrations team (yay Betsi, Jodi, the rest of the women & Andrew too)! From our first consultation call, I knew there was no way this wedding would happen without Rhi. I felt as though I had known her my entire life, she exudes such a genuine kindness and joy. I am a type A perfectionist, so her attention to detail, well thought out planning & exquisite design were so cherished. Our calendar and to-do list were packed to the brim, there isn't a thing she didn't think of. I will be honest when I say Rhi was dealt a very challenging hand with our wedding...but her grace, sense of urgency, class, professionalism, flexibility, ability to think on her toes, perseverance, empathy, love & joy are incomparable. At my breaking points, Rhi was there with such wisdom and love as well as such a peace about her throughout the most stressful of times, which helped to ease all anxiety as she continuously reminded me that I get to marry my best friend. Rhi is so knowledgable and well known in the industry, which made it so easy to put my full trust in her. Before answering a question I was always sure to first seek her insight, most of the time I let her speak on my behalf. Details are everything and Rhi is always sure to design and execute the most special of details. Creating a unique, beautiful evening. Her florals are to die for and her taste is classic and elegant. Rhi worked side by side with us to find the most PERFECT vendors...a whole village of vendors, who she worked with to create a seamless wedding weekend, all coordinated with her 15 page timeline. When I say this woman is the real deal, SHE IS THE REAL DEAL! I thank God every day for Rhi. She not only created a perfect planning experience & inexplainable wedding weekend, but she also opened her heart up, allowing me to gain such a special friend & mentor!

I don't even know if I can accurately put into words how incredibly lucky I feel to have been able to work with Rhi and the Rhiannon Bosse Celebrations team. I had been following Rhi's blog and business for years, and emailed her a week after I got engaged (knowing we weren’t going to be getting married for two and a half years), and it was the best decision Tim and I could have possibly made for our wedding day. Rhi had her hand in every single part of our day- from choosing a venue, to stationery, calligraphy, finding our photographer, my hair and makeup team, and the entire design and execution of the day. To say she gave us the most wonderful day almost feels like an understatement. A month later we're still hearing from friends and family that they had the best time, and for many it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Our day felt so uniquely us. Every suggestion Rhi made was with us and our unique story in mind. And the best part was that working with Rhi freed Tim and I up to actually enjoy our engagement. There was no stress the week of our wedding, no worrying about last minute details, and on our big day we didn't have to do anything but dress up, show up, and enjoy the day with our favorite people. My bridesmaids couldn’t believe how relaxed I was the day before and morning of our wedding. We were having an outdoor ceremony and I didn’t even check the weather all week because I had every confidence that no matter what happened, rain or shine, we were going to have the most beautiful day. What a gift, to be able to be a guest at your own wedding! I could hardly believe that after so many years of seeing gorgeous blooms on Rhi’ Instagram and blog that the flowers in that room were for us! I actually jumped up and down when Rhi gave me my bouquet- peonies in July!? She is pure magic! I can't help but smile whenever I think about our wedding and do a little happy dance anytime it gets brought up because everything about our day jut surpassed my wildest dreams. That wouldn't have been possible without Rhi. She was able to give us such a wonderful day because more than being an incredible planner and designer, she's an incredible person. She was able to give us the best day ever because she so genuinely cared about us and wanted us to be happy. She took the time to get to know us, learn our story, and planned an entire day around that. We're so, so grateful for Rhi, Jess, Betsi and the rest of the Rhiannon Bosse team. Working with her was a privilege, and the best part is not only did we have a perfectly executed and gorgeously designed day, we gained a true friend. If we didn't have Rhi our wedding would have just been another wedding, but it was perfectly us in every way. I had the honor of being one of Rhi’s 2016 brides, and it was the absolute best decision I made for my wedding – other than my groom, of course! I wouldn’t have had the wedding day I did without the creativity, professionalism, and heart of the Hey Gorgeous team behind it. After following Rhi’s blog for years and having the pleasure of partnering with her for an event for kate spade new york, becoming a Hey Gorgeous bride was a long-time dream for me. And the experience still exceeded every one of my expectations. Planning a wedding with Rhi was like having a built-in best friend with all the ideas and resources in the world. Although we were states apart during my engagement (Chicago to Grand Rapids), I spent more time talking to Rhi about my wedding than any other person in my life - even my fiancé! More than a wedding planner, Rhi was my partner, my confidant, and my friend. I gave Rhi a challenging venue, a tight budget, and a very opinionated perfectionist bride – and her team made magic happen. From the beautiful hand-sketched design proposal, to the enchanting mockup that made our vision come to life, to the flawless execution of every idea, wedding planning with Rhi was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The wedding day Rhi dreamed into life for us was colorful, fun, charming, and truly one-of-a-kind – everything we had asked for. Walking in to my venue and seeing the joy in Rhi, Jess, and Betsi’s eyes is one of my favorite memories from the day. These girls love putting on a wedding as much as you love having it. And even though we had walked step by step through the entire day’s plan so many times, I was still blown away by the final product. The flowers! The lights! The table linens that I had always wanted but didn’t think we were going to be able to get! It was all there and more – an absolute dream come true. More than anything, Rhi gave me the gift of happiness. Being able to relax, be present, and be a guest at my own wedding could only have happened knowing every detail and more was carefully and thoughtfully managed. There was absolutely nothing to worry about. This feeling is irreplaceable - brides, you owe yourself this gift! Over and over, guests have told me that they have never seen such a happy bride on her wedding day. I owe this to the wonderful family and friends that surrounded us, the love that my husband and I share, and the amazing Hey Gorgeous team that gave life to a day that celebrated these things. Rhi is equal parts phenomenal wedding planner and phenomenal human being. We hired Rhi and her team to do our planning and day-of coordination. Rhi is... kind of a big deal. She truly is the most genuine, loving, thoughtful and hard-working person I have ever met. She and her team have really got it figured out. I live in Seattle and was a little worried about how all of the details would fall into place with Rhi living not only across the country, but also in a different time zone. There are a handful of excellent planners in the Seattle area, but they all pale in comparison to Hey Gorgeous Events - we knew it was worth it to choose Rhi over someone local. From our very first phone call to discuss what she offers and how she approaches the whole planning process, we knew that she was exactly who we wanted to help us plan the most important day in our lives. She put my fiance and I at ease from the very beginning and our 15 month long engagement was actually an enjoyable time for us since we knew that every single detail was being thought of and taken care of by Rhi and her team. Rhi really went above and beyond - our wedding experience was something that we will never forget and we are so grateful for Rhi's gentle nudge to bring in truly unique items like custom monogrammed wood medallions to secure our invitation suite together, or cocoa sequined table linens with mustard hued napkins (not to mention the 200+ hand stained {by Rhi, of course} wood napkin rings!) to dress up the rustic wood room. We cannot say enough about how grateful we are to Rhi and the entire Hey Gorgeous Events team for their generosity and love. If you haven’t been following Hey Gorg on Instagram, you aren’t living! I think every girl drools over the amazing arrangements this girl creates. So when my best friend’s bridal shower needed to be planned, I turned to Rhi. Her creativity is original and unique to every event, with her heart poured into every detail. This girl doesn’t miss a beat! So the blooms, Amazing! I couldn’t believe the beauty that each arrangement held. Whatever event you are planning, blooms make it better and Rhi is the one to call.

Our experience with Hey Gorgeous Events was beyond reproach. I have nothing but good things to say about Rhi and her team. I am not sure there are enough synonyms for amazing/incredible/wonderful to describe how I feel about Rhi and Hey Gorgeous Events. I wanted Rhi to plan our wedding before I was even engaged. I emailed her over a year before Austin “popped the question” to tell her that one day I would be calling to hire her. And finally, about a year later, Austin proposed! I called my parents and then I called Rhi! I was so excited to start working with her. And boy did we work together for a LONG time. Over the course of our 1-year, 9-month, 27-day engagement, Rhi always remained enthusiastic and focused on making our day perfect. Every aspect of our wedding was dealt with in a professional, creative, and hands-on manner. Rhi has a unique way of making her clients feel so loved and so taken care of. Her sense of style and keen awareness of the overall aesthetic of an event is without compare. She is a master of design, a floral goddess, and she runs a tight ship on wedding day! Her attention to detail throughout the entire planning process was impeccable. Another thing I loved about working with Hey Gorgeous Events is that Rhi does the florals. This is great for two reasons—the more obvious reason: it’s one less vendor to try and nail down; and secondly, having the same person, with the same sense of style and vision, design your flowers as well as your décor, allows for a more cohesive and impactful design. I was absolutely floored by the blooms at our wedding!!! I had so many people {even some guys} say that they were the most beautiful flowers they had ever seen at a wedding. Go Rhi!!! On the day-of, I was blown away by her ability to pickup the slack of other vendors and adapt to minor issues so seamlessly and with such grace. She made our day so fun, amazingly beautiful, and totally stress-free. I knew that everything would be handled because I had Rhi. As a bride, that feeling was priceless. Rhi is willing to go about and beyond for her clients. Although she is based in Michigan and we live in Texas, she was there for me for every decision I had to make—whether it was on the phone, via FaceTime, and even flying out to surprise us and style our engagement shoot!!! I was absolutely shocked that someone would fly all the way down to Texas just to be at our engagement session. Just incredible! Rhi gave me the wedding of my dreams and I can’t thank her enough for being an amazing wedding planner, a kind and generous human being—and now a dear dear friend!

I don’t think there are enough words to describe how truly amazing Rhiannon is! Hiring Hey Gorgeous Events for our wedding was hands down the best decision I have ever made! Throughout this entire process, Rhi was not only an exceptional wedding planner, but she became a friend and a part of our family. I don’t think I have ever met someone who puts so much love into everything she does and every person she meets. She is truly special and a one of a kind! She was there to help with every decision, from venue to dj, to cake, to décor, to first dances, to florals, etc. She did it all! We talked at least once a week and sometimes more. If I wanted to text her a quick question, she was there. If I sent her an email, she responded immediately. I even had an emergency question for her on a Saturday, and she responded right away! Despite the fact that she has a personal life, and most likely a million other things going on, she made us feel like we were her number one priority. For every decision that needed to be made, she presented us with different options for everything like flowers, photographers, bakers, dress shops, you name it! She knew our style and our budget, and even made sure to check over contracts beforehand, which was super helpful. She was extremely organized and because of this, nothing felt rushed. Everything was done according to a specific timeline and had plenty of time to think about all the different options. When it came time to talk about things like décor and flowers, she made sure to schedule a Skype date with my mom and I to hear all of our ideas! Being a bride that had absolutely no idea about any of these things, having her opinion and expertise was such a big help! For our wedding, Rhi arrived three days beforehand with an entire team of people and more flowers than I had ever seen in my life! She assembled every single flower by hand with her incredible team that weekend. She handled all logistics and created a timeline to keep all of our vendors and family members organized. She also made sure every detail about the ceremony and the reception were 100% perfect. All of our family and friends were in awe of her talent and hard work. She literally executed the wedding of our dreams. It was so amazing and perfect in every way, all because of her. Not only did she do an amazing job on all of the incredible details like flowers and décor that day, but there were also so many special touches and surprises. I initially thought my dream of hanging bistro lights wouldn’t be able to happen. But on the night of our wedding I was so surprised to see that she had found a way to string them over the dance floor! Also, we didn’t think it was necessary to have a guest book, but Rhi thought we might regret this choice. So, she went out on her own and purchased a large frame to take around to all of our guests. She had each guest sign it without us even knowing! Now that I have this gift, I am so happy she did it! At one point in the night, my dress starting ripping, and like superwoman, Rhi appeared on the dance floor with a needle and thread to sew me back in. I’m telling you, she is that amazing! Rhi did a marvelous job throughout the planning and execution of my daughter’s wedding. It was absolutely phenomenal and gorgeous! To begin with, she was extremely professional and everything was done to the point of perfection and beyond. Rhiannon really was the 2nd best part of my wedding day, right after getting to marry the hunk of my dreams! Words can not describe how wonderful and thrilled my daughter and I were with working alongside Rhiannon to plan my daughters wedding. Rhiannon took all of my daughters dreams and made them a reality My daughter wanted a very unique ceremony and reception, Rhi was able to capture her vision and bring it to life perfectly. On my daughters wedding day, when Rhi showed us the transformed reception hall, we wanted to cry tears of joy. It was beyond beautiful! We had many vases of flowers scattered throughout the reception and cocktail areas and each vase of flowers was uniquely different and stunningly beautiful. Attached to an arch Rhi created for the ceremony was the most breathtaking cluster of vibrant lush greens, succulents, and delicate blooms of stunning flowers cascading around a corner of the arch. Writing a review for Rhiannon that truly speaks to the quality of service she provides to her clients is almost impossible. I'll do my best though! I found a Hey Gorg wedding on Style Me Pretty maybe a month before getting engaged. I tucked Rhi's name away in a favorites list that I assumed would grow and that I would later skim through and select a planner from… Except, I never favorited another vendor. I think this highlights the truth - there is no one else out there like Rhi! Hiring her was a no-brainer after a quick phone chat. Over the year and a half of our engagement, planning the wedding was certainly a source of stress, but having Rhi by my side to chew over every detail and decision with was a dream come true. Her patience and creativity blew my mind. Most of my favorite pieces of the wedding were ideas of her's, and I know she had to tire of my 'newbie' questions but she was always encouraging me to ask more. Rhi does a great job of using social media, and my friends (especially bridesmaids) loved it anytime she posted some little tidbit involving our wedding. They were so excited to meet her and see the wedding come together by the time it arrived. I think that, along with the surprises she had hidden for us throughout the day and planning experience, was a super fun part of the HGE experience. And I know the girls and all the rest of our guests were not disappointed when the day came! Even though there were a few 'issues' on the day of, I didn't find out about them until all was said and done (I'm not sure she ever actually told me everything that went wrong ;) The gals who did our make-up/hair said I was the calmest bride they had ever dealt with, and I attribute that 100% to Rhi. I knew all would be taken care of, so I just enjoyed being the bride. That's worth every dime, right there! I see Rhi doing her own floral design as a huge plus, and something that makes her unique. It was so nice being able to trust that my florist and my wedding planner both completely understood my vision and were on the same page (cause they were the same person, ha!) She knocked it out of the park, as I knew she would. Finally, I was really impressed with how well she worked with other vendors, whether they were ones she had suggested or not. She was also absolutely amazing with our 3 year old flower girl, making her feel comfortable enough to walk the aisle like a little lady. I think the worst part about hiring Rhi is the time after the wedding when you say goodbye!

This review is going to be a little different because it's not wedding related.. but let me say that we used Hey Gorg for our wedding first and were blown away with her attention to detail, so when the time came for our baby shower we knew who to call. My mom was hosting and she was so grateful to have Rhi taking care of everything. We both appreciated her input and all her ideas were exactly what we were thinking. The day of the shower came and I was so touched with her added details. Things like, cute straws, baby wishes, initial banners, etc- they made the shower and those are the things our guests noticed the most that my mom and I wouldn't have thought of. If you're looking for someone to plan your special event, Hey Gorg is who to call. She worked with our budget and made the day the most special day.

I had been following Rhiannon on Instagram for a year prior to my fiancé and I being engaged. I knew I wanted her to design and plan my wedding, so when the day came that we finally got engaged, I contacted her right away. Unfortunately for me, at the time, she was unable to accommodate my wedding in Canada. I was so disappointed. Fast forward 5 months later. I contacted her again, on a whim, because the planning process was becoming so stressful for us. Between my being in school, my husband starting a new job, and other family obligations it was all to much. To my delight, Rhiannon was now available to help me with our Canadian Wedding! From the get go, Rhiannon was professional, enthusiastic, and extremely kind. She provided us with beautiful ideas that perfectly matched our personalities after spending the time to get to know us personally via online conversations and Skype Dates (since we are over 5 hours away from where she lives). After we made the commitment to work with her, we were so so happy with her. Her vision was like no other, and she is so talented in so many ways. She made trips to Canada to visit with us and our venue and church, so that she could get a feel for what we were working with in person, and spent countless hours going over our plans, revising them down to every detail, and making sure that our wedding was going to be exactly how we had envisioned it. On top of all of that, she was so kind, warm hearted, and just an absolute doll. She made herself available whenever we needed her and gave us the peace of mind we needed. We hired her for partial planning and full design and florals, and her work was absolutely beautiful. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, and it is because she worked tirelessly behind the scene to make it a seamless, gorgeous, and memorable occasion. Not only did she deliver way more than we dreamed, she even had a special surprise for us the day of our wedding that made it even MORE beautiful. She made sure all 250 of our guests were taken care of, and that we had everything we needed during the day - from food and drink to her special bridal emergency kit should we require anything last minute. Her enthusiasm and excitement the day of was also so awesome to see and made us feel so comfortable that everything was going off perfectly. Another really important thing for us was that our parents were happy - and they were absolutely THRILLED with her work. We recently watched back our wedding feature film and the videographers captured her doing her thing the morning of - meticulously arranging the flowers, setting up everything perfectly, and we were reminded again what a gem she was to have. Our guests were in awe at our wedding, from the florals and decor, to the linens and guest books, and said that they had never seen this venue look so beautiful (it is a very popular venue for our area and many many weddings take place there every year). We heard so much feedback from our other vendors (photographers and videographers) that she was a pleasure to work with as well, and she made sure to get all the details of everything that was required from the venue itself. She is a team player in every way and it showed with the end product of our beautiful wedding day. If you have any hesitations about Rhiannon or Hey Gorgeous - this review is my testimony to throw your reservations away and hire her. You will be thrilled, dazzled, and inspired!

I found out about Hey Gorgeous Events from a friend of mine who had been following Rhi's blog. Needless to say it was love at first sight, her attention to detail & flawless execution on every wedding in her portfolio hooked me right away! No two weddings were the same and her ideas were inspiring. After contacting her she quickly got back to me & we started to plan what would be my dream wedding. From Skype dates to talk details, to encouraging notes in the mail along the way Rhi quickly became more than my wedding planner, but a great friend. She calmed me in moments of panic, soothed my indecisiveness & helped me take deep breaths all the way up to my walk down the aisle. I can remember my now husband & I keeping her on the phone for hours until midnight on a weeknight crunching numbers & deciding if we were going to sign the next day for our venue we so desperately wanted. She never seemed bothered, but rather happy to help us through it, and helped us go through other costs and make sure we were spending our money the way WE wanted and always making sure we were comfortable with every last penny & decision made. We ended up choosing our dream venue and everything worked out. She infused our day with modern/romantic touches filled with gray, butter yellow & deep peach colors that dripped from ceiling to floor. She transformed our venue into OUR venue, with little surprises for us along the way that made everything that much more special. I couldn't imagine planning a wedding on my own, and I definitely couldn't imagine planning my wedding without Rhi, because it wouldn't of been my wedding, it would of been one of the many weddings I've been to before with my name on the program under 'bride'...Rhi has a way of transforming your personality/beliefs/tastes and anything else you could dream of into reality and THAT is what makes her so special. Rhi even helped my mom with my non-traditional couples camping themed shower (she of course came up with the adorable theme) and it was one for the books! When first presented with the idea of having a "couples" shower...something I had no idea how to create...I said yes immediately but fretted for months as to how to pull it off. The venue was our home and my husband and I have given more than our share of parties through the years, but I was in a difficult time of my life, dealing with ailing parents and the mere thought of tackling this and making it a wonderful day for the engaged couple simply overwhelmed me. I called Hey Gorgeous Events (our daughter and her fiance had previously contracted Rhi to plan their wedding) approximately six weeks out from the date that was set and asked Rhi for direction. Without hesitation she started coming up with ideas and offered to help make the day amazing. I was overjoyed by the little details she came up with to tie it all together with the wedding she was planning for our "kids" on August 17, 2013. There was a camping theme, a large tent with lights, fire pit with a lounging area around it. Packages of smores put together as favors for the party guests to take home or use around the camp fire. It was all a beautiful, beautiful presentation and a night to remember. Truly different than anything we had seen before. I don't know where her ideas come from, but once she started rolling with it, it just grew to be one incredible evening. The night set the tone for the nuptials to come. There are way too many details for me to describe except to say that nothing was left to chance. She had everything covered and checked with us every step of the way to be sure we were on the same page. I am sure that this shower will be talked about for a long time to come and like my Mother said "it may start a whole new trend". BEAUTIFUL!!

I don't think I can even put into words how amazing my experience has been with Rhi from Hey Gorgeous Events. As a Texas bride getting married in Grand Haven,MI I realized early on that planning a wedding from afar wasn't going to be easy. Rhi and I first started talking in July of 2012 as I had reached out to her to see if she offered floral services. After our first chat on the phone I immediately knew I wanted to work with her, she was beyond sweet, professional beyond her years, incredibly creative, and she instantly understood my vision for my wedding day. Not only did I end up using her for my flowers (which were UNBELIEVABLE and admired by everyone) but she also handled my linens, chair rental, and overall design of the reception - from little escort cards pinned to tangerines to over-sized balloons attached to my husband and my chairs. No task is too big or too small for Rhi and she will honestly do everything she can to make your vision for your wedding come true. She worked fantastically with my other vendors, communicating with them throughout the process and ensuring that the set up of the big day went off without a hitch. Rhi has a true passion for event planning and design and goes above and beyond to make her brides feel so special. She even put together a beautiful flower arrangement in memory of my mom that sat upon the altar at our ceremony. Seriously, the sweetest thing ever. She invests so much of her time and heart into each wedding and it absolutely shows. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Rhi and working with her was really a blessing. I admire her so much and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great wedding planner - you can't beat Rhi.

We crafted our wedding into a celebration of our lives together in both practical and fantastical / imaginative terms. As artists, our ideas for our big day were expansive and also had a level of abstraction. Rhi brought our abstract concepts, specific hopes and most important desires for the day into shape. She realized our ideas while establishing trust with us and adding her own suggestions in order to further define and make possible the event. She contributed her own ideas to the process and we began to collaborate in order to bring to life cross-cultural influences from Taipei / Taiwanese and Kentuckian / American Southern traditions. We complemented these traditions with our own aesthetics in ways that most literally and directly were made possible by all of the hard work and dedication that Rhiannon put into the process with us, into helping us to take our steps together on our journey.

From the Bride: With Rhiannon’s help, I literally had my dream wedding come true. My now husband and I had very specific ideas and themes for our wedding. We are both artists and we hesitated in hiring a professional event designer to help us in constructing what seemly we could have just done ourselves. Boy, am I glad that we chose Hey Gorgeous Event! Rhiannon is professional, friendly, and helpful. Beyond that (usual requirement of a wedding event designer), she is extremely sincere. We wanted a shabby chic, glitter rainbow, cowboy unicorn fantasy wedding that wasn’t cheesy or immature. We required all the classic romantic notions on top of a unique but difficult-to-achieve concept. All of the above had to fit into a somewhat traditional wedding because we are nostalgic and think being old school is sweet. Lastly, our wedding had to represent us as who we are. Rhiannon did such an awesome job hitting every of our demands. She earned a flying A. Her sincerity in being on the same team as her clients shone through all our planning and accomplished much more than I expected. Our fantastic wedding was also an out-of-town wedding in Michigan (we live in Chicago) with a limited budget. I am Taiwanese, and being the first to be married amongst my close girlfriends, I was completely unfamiliar with all the proper wedding planning, western traditions and necessities. Rhiannon selflessly taught me all the knowledge a bride should know and more to my husband. She stayed on top of the budget throughout the entire process, and even after the wedding. She was totally flexible for our meetings (via phone, on Skype or in person). She is well connected locally and nationally in the wedding industry, which helped tremendously to cut down expenses. She also is a talented florist. The floral arrangements in my wedding made my mother (part-time florist herself) gasp. Rhiannon has great taste and always shared her honest opinions to my sometimes-crazy ideas. She never once limited my creative freedom and desire as her client and the bride. She’s always respectful, and patient even when there’s a problem with vendors or there’s been a change of plans. She has a warm and cheerful personality that helped me stay calm, organized and excited. She constantly expressed her gratitude, which included sending us some special little newly wed gifts. But most importantly, Rhiannon is genuine when she says she wants to be part of your wedding and make it better than amazing. She is damn good at it and the Internet agrees! We hired Rhi well in advance of our September 2012 wedding and are so, so glad we did! Rhi is an amazing person and was so helpful throughout the planning process. We hired her to work with us as a coordinator, but Rhi provided so much more! She gave vendor referrals, kept us on track in the planning, and, most importantly, provided some much needed support, encouragement, and inspiration throughout the planning process. We hired Rhi more than half way through our planning process, and had I known how amazing and invaluable she would come to be, I would have had her be apart of the planning from the very beginning. The pictures and memories of our “perfect wedding day” will last a lifetime. Thanks to Rhi, owner and lead stylist at Hey Gorgeous Events our wedding from start to finish was flawless. My fiancé and I stumbled upon Rhi pretty early on during our planning process. For a solid year, we worked through securing vendors, selecting inspiration, working on favors, picking out décor, and everything in between. Rhi was on top of every detail from head to toe and she never missed a beat. Additionally, her upbeat attitude and professionalism were evident as a few wrenches were thrown our way. To give you an example, Rhi really came in handy when I decided that we wanted to change our venue. Her expertise, knowledge of Northern Michigan, and familiarity with vendors in the area allowed the transition to be as smooth as possible. Also, when the vendor we were using for our linens and chairs did not come through, she researched other options to ensure that we would be covered. During the weeks leading up to the wedding, I found out very quickly that Rhi was the best investment that we had made throughout this process. She was always accessible via email and phone for last minute details. Additionally, she created a minute by minute schedule for everyone involved with the wedding. Rhi also contacted all of our vendors to make sure that they were prepared for the wedding. One more thing that is worth mentioning is Rhi’s innovative ideas, creative inspiration, and ability to execute our “wedding vision.” She went above and beyond to make sure that our day was unique and special for us. A few highlights included our cake and pie display, tree hanging photo frame for guests to take pictures, and “hitched” sign hanging from the ’55 Chevy I rode down to the ceremony in. The biggest surprise was the handmade pink and purple fabric garlands hung from the ceiling in the barn. I can’t thank Rhi enough for the effort, time, and heart that she put into making our day a wedding that our guests and we will always remember. She attended cake and dinner tastings with us, and met with us twice at home in Ontario. We exchanged countless emails and had several Skype dates. Her attention to detail is remarkable, and her timelines invaluable. She has an uncanny sense of knowing when things are not ‘quite right’. I received text messages that would simply said ‘are you ok?’ In these moments she would cleverly smooth the waters between my daughter and I who on a number of occasions had differing opinions. She understands stress and knows how to handle it. She is an unbelievably organized person, and professional in her dealings with all the vendors and venue staff. She goes above and beyond anyone’s expectations, from wrapping groom’s gifts to purchasing limes!....little things to some, but huge for us planning a ‘destination’ wedding. There is nothing Rhi won’t do, or can do for you. What sets Rhiannon apart is her genuine enthusiasm and love for her job. She treats each wedding as if it were her very own, which is evident in all the little details and surprises she adds. She is talented, creative, sweet and sincere. I stumbled upon Rhiannon while researching wedding decor early on in my engagement and after a few emails back and forth about elements of her wedding decor (which she graciously answered) we got talking about having her work with me on the day of my wedding. I hired Rhi as a Day of Coordinator and she went above and beyond this with immediate email responses, ordering & accepting courier deliveries, lending me decorations and so on...And, on top of it all, she offered her friendship & emotional support leading up to my wedding. Initially we hired her to do “partial planning;” we skyped and emailed one another to lock down key vendors (which she provided since we live in Chicago, and our wedding was in Northern Michigan). I often wondered how she was able to treat all of her clients the way she did us since she devoted so much time to our wedding. I cannot imagine what I would have been like without her… We knew having Rhi with us on our wedding day that everything was under control. The decor, vendor organization, timeline of the day-of, and coordination with the venue was fully taken off our plate, and we were able to simply enjoy every moment of our wedding day.
