Our DJ, Ricky, was included in the cost of our Our All Inclusive Venue at The La Belle Group in Tampa, Fl. He was also the MC and managed the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour...
, reception dinner, reception introductions etc. We had an online planning account for him where we could go to request songs and complete the wedding day questionnaire i.e. who is walking with who? what song are they walking in to? who is making speeches? are we wanting to play games etc? We were able to text him and ask questions etc. But, we never really spoke with him until a few days before the wedding, where he went over what we had filled out in the portal. Our venue was completely outside, and they did have big fans blowing as it was a hot summer day, but the music he played during the dinner could barely be heard by my husband and I and we were sitting right next to his table where all the equipment was! Other than that, Ricky did a great job on our wedding day!
Used this DJ for my boyfriend's 30th birthday! I was able to make a custom list, during the night we did have a few request. The DJ was very accommodating and make the night so enj...
oyable. Everyone enjoyed dancing all night! The price was reasonable too :)
DJ Rick was nice and friendly, but boy was he unprepared on our wedding day. The DJ showed up literally 5 minutes before the wedding started and did not have his mic charged up. We...
literally started our ceremony 15 minutes late because of him. That is a big deal because we only had a certain amount of time to rent the venue. Secondly, he asked us on our wedding day what our recessional song was going to be despite the fact that my wife already sent that information ahead of time via email and the wedding music portal. But what irked us the most was the fact that he played the wrong version of our first-dance song. On our first call with the DJ (we had to chase him to schedule a call btw, he did not reach out to us and this was a few weeks before the wedding day), I told him that the most important thing I wanted him to get right was the proper version of our first dance song. My wife even sent him an MP3 file via email to make sure. Even on the wedding day, we tripled checked with him to make sure he played the right version. But he seemed confident when he said "yes", so we trusted him. That was a mistake. Our wedding was overall still brilliant and nothing was gonna change the fact that it was and still is the happiest day of my life. But do yourself a favor, don't make my mistake. Go with another dj. Cheers!
Brendan went above and beyond for our wedding, delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish. His pre-wedding planning was thoughtful and comprehensive, resulting in a ...
stress free and unforgettable day. We loved working with him, and we highly recommend him for any future events!
My husband and I got married on February 10, 2024. This DJ company is contracted through the venue we chose. Communication from this company is poor. Weeks before our wedding we tr...
ied to contact (Rick) who originally was introduced to my husband and I via email he never properly called to introduce himself and let my husband and I know a game plan for our wedding. This company just sends you an online event planning link (which I will say is user friendly) - However, I had questions and special requests I wanted for our special day. So I reached out to Rick and never got a response I also tried to call and was unsuccessful. Fast-forward a week before our wedding I get a call at 8p.m. on a weekday from a DJ named Tommy who works for this company stating he'd like to go over the timeline. At this point I had no high hopes because what professional business calls you that late in the evening. On 2/8 (2 DAYS before our wedding) we finally go over the timeline. The DJ was fairly nice and did go over the timeline in depth- I was thrilled and ecstatic because I thought we were on the same page. Well, on our wedding the ‘timeline’ that we had spoke for over an hour went out the window. The reception is nothing without a great DJ. This DJ failed to announce the cake cutting. Failed to announce champagne for the toast. He announced the bouquet toss VERY late at night after multiple people had left and starts the announcement with 'where are the single ladies' none of my guest were single and I am aware he did not know that and I’m sure he meant no harm BUT after no one gets up you would think that he’d get the idea -this DJ kept pushing it by saying 'oh c'mon single ladies don't be shy' instead of just switching up his words. I mean even announcing 'it's time for the bouquet toss' would've been fine. I had MULTIPLE people tell me how horrible of a DJ he was. It’s sad and embarrassing I also paid an extra $100 for an additional 30 minutes. You would think that I would’ve gotten an exceptional service. Overall I had a terrible experience.
DJ Rick did a great job during our ceremony and reception. He made our day special with all the requests and MC. we also used their photo booth option. Loved it!!! Especially the p...
hoto book we got at the end of the night.
DJ Ricky was very friendly and kind, but in action at the wedding, I must say he fell flat. He started the dancing music before it was time (people were still eating dinner), which...
got people walking around so my husband and I couldn’t greet our guests during dinner and ended up not getting to talk to most of our guests. Once things got going with the dancing, he would play several slow songs in a row, keeping guests off the dance floor for too long at a time. At one point I (the bride) had to walk up to him and say “can you play something fun?” just so my husband and I could dance.
We had communicated several times that there were multiple rooms of the party and made sure he was going to have speakers in each room, but he brought only one speaker set up instead of connecting speakers into the other rooms- so for the ceremony and cocktail hour the music floated in from the reception room and felt awkward.
MOST importantly- he confirmed the correct pronunciation of our last name immediately before we did our reception entrance, and then mispronounced it two minutes later when we entered the reception.
Transitions felt awkward and the flow was off. Although the price point was tempting, I can’t help but warn everyone that you get what you pay for.
Had issues leading up to the event communicating with Ricky. Had to reach out multiple times to get the timeline organized and go over the schedule prior to the wedding. Once we ...
were paired with DJ Tommy, we had nothing but great experiences. Tommy had a winning personality and made sure the entire day was about us. He played our songs, read the room well, and was able to hit on requests during the event.

with messages from all the guests. It was fantastic and much better than a normal guest book!
The music for our wedding was perfect! We sent DJ Rick a huge playlist of music we wanted included. He used a lot of our choices and also included some of his own based on our styl...
e. He def inspired a party atmosphere and our guests had a blast! We also paid extra for uplighting & a photo booth. Both were high quality. Only "cons" I would say was he wasn't always the easiest to communicate with. He prefers to talk on the phone rather than texting or emailing and then when we were on the phone I felt like he kept trying to talk over me and wasn't the friendliest. Which is weird because he was very nice in person. Don't let this discourage you from using him, because the outcome was still great! Even though we loved the photobooth (and so did our guests) we didn't love the guest book we were given for our photo strips. We had a "enchanted forest-y" wedding in the middle of November, yet the guestbook they gave us is covered in Flamingos and says Paradise on the front. It's kind of tacky and would be much more appropriate for a summer beach wedding. Something neutral would have been much better. They also crammed all the photo strips into the first few pages. So we have like 5 jam packed pages and then 50 empty ones. Minor details that aren't a big deal, but areas of improvement. Overall we would recommend Rhythm Makers DJ's!!!!
Had an amazing experience with Ricky Mondelli! Had my wedding October 12 with reception at the Kapok Tree. My family listens to latin music and my husband's family are all American...
. Ricky played all the songs I requested and went above and beyond playing music my husband's family would enjoy as well! Everyone was on the dance floor all night and kept raving about how great the music was. He also announced us when we came in and everything went perfectly. Recommend 100%

ded done. He helped gather the crowd for things like our grand entrance, the bouquet and garter tosses, cake cutting, etc. I would 100% hire him again. He was better than I ever expected.
Rick is a great DJ. We were kind of worried about booking him because of the one negative review about playing a Barney song... but Rick is great. We booked him one week before our...
wedding because our other DJ backed out. We gave him songs that I could only find on YouTube and he made it happen. There were even some requests that were very new songs and he had them. He's current and has good taste in music. I gave him a rundown of what I wanted and he followed it to the T. He did play the Barney song, but to be honest, the guy trying to get the garter on the girl was struggling.. He deserved it and I found it funny ;) He's a great DJ and the price is literally unbeatable. He was able to have music outdoors no extra charge. He has no set up fee. He brought some party lighting that was on his DJ station. He was professionally dressed. Great guy! You won't be disappointed if you give him every detail you want him to follow. :)
Ricky did an amazing job, people were on the dance floor right away and never got off, we had to push them out at the end of the night! He made it really fun and really took into c...
