We could not speak more highly of River City as a venue! They made the entire wedding planning process feel so easy for us. We absolutely loved that a booking with this venue includes an in-house coordinator who works tirelessly to bring you dreams for the big day to life! We knew we could reach out at any time during the planning process with any questions we might have and be met with a timely answer and helpful response. The day of the wedding could not have gone smoother! The bridesmaids and I absolutely LOVED being able to use the bride/groom suites to get ready the morning of the wedding. They are so cute and bring just the right vibes for a relaxed girls experience. We also used the rooms to store stuff for the wedding party and family throughout the day, which was helpful because there were a lot of moving pieces. Our guests still rave about the River City wedding experience, as well! From the beauty of the space, to the kindness of the staff, to the delicious food they had to offer...everything could not have been more perfect, which was in large part to the amazing event planning team!

I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding and rehearsal dinner at River City Casino, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The entire staff, especially Claire Toal, were incredibly organized, thoughtful, and helpful, making our special day even more memorable. Our rehearsal dinner was held on the Boulevard, which was a beautiful choice. The fountain, lights, and ambiance created the perfect setting. The food at both the rehearsal dinner and our wedding was absolutely amazing. My friends and family are still raving about it! The wedding itself took place in the main event space inside the casino. The room was stunning, comfortably accommodating all our guests and perfectly designed for a live band, which we had. It was a dream venue, and we couldn't have asked for a better setting. We also stayed at the hotel for two nights, and our room was incredible. We truly felt like celebrities all weekend. I can't recommend River City Casino enough for any event. They exceeded all our expectations and made our wedding day unforgettable.

Everything about River City was perfect for our wedding day! Claire was an awesome coordinator, answering questions for us all the time, being helpful with anything and everything we needed, and walking us through every step of the way! The entire team at River City helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect, and the food was amazing! We continue getting so many compliments about the venue and about the entire wedding day in general. Everything turned out exactly the way we wanted, and we wish we could relive the day all over again! We would absolutely recommend River City for anyone else looking for wedding venues.

We had our wedding & reception at River City Casino on 5/18 and we could not have been happier w our experience! Carly was incredibly helpful every step of the way. She responded quickly to each of the hundred or so emails I sent her in the lead up to our big day. The covered outdoor space we had our ceremony was wonderful and the events center that held our reception was beautiful as well. We knew at our tasting that the food would be delicious and it was!! The River City staff worked seamlessly w our outside vendors so all we had to do was give them Carly's contact info and she took care of everything else! We liked having our wedding and reception at a venue that was safe and also had an attached hotel for our guests from out of town or that didn't want to drive home. They also had a convenient space to hold our wedding decorations and presents until the next morning. That was really nice being able to hang out with our friends after the reception and not worry about loading up a car with everything that night. Having a single point of contact for our venue, food and hotel made things so much easier on us. If we had it do all over again we would definitely choose River City Casino to have our wedding and reception. Our only regret is that the day went by so fast.

River City Casino, and specifically Carly, were an absolute joy to work with when planning and executing our wedding reception. Carly was incredibly responsive to emails and requests. The staff there were also so welcoming when we finally arrived for the big day. Everything went perfectly for our day, and I believe this is because the staff is so well-trained and in-sync with one another. This is a HUGE and BEAUTIFUL venue that I would recommend to everyone for a wedding reception. Also, the food is AMAZING :)

We just had the most wonderful wedding experience! Our daughter got married a couple of weeks ago at River City Casino and Hotel, and we were so absolutely impressed with everything that we wanted to leave a review. Claire, our wedding coordinator, was very helpful, attentive, and responsive to all of our questions. The venue, which was the Event Center, was stunningly beautiful. It was fun to watch as the guests entered and their jaws literally dropped open in amazement. The servers and the staff (especially Yvette) were excellent, and the guests kept commenting to us how great the service was. The food was also spectacular. We had been given samples previously at the tasting, which tasted great, but we were cautious from hearing cautionary tales from other people’s experiences at various venues that there is often a great discrepancy between the samples shown beforehand and what is delivered at the actual event. But in our case, there was no drop in quality what so ever. The food was excellent at both the cocktail hour and reception. The carved prime rib was a great feature that we highly recommend it. The banquet captain Admir also did a great job providing breakfast and lunch for the bridal and hospitality/groom’s suites and the delicious brunch buffet the day after the wedding--also highly recommended! Several guests remarked how convenient it was to have everything in one place – the hotel, the bridal and hospitality/groom’s suites, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the Event Center were all within a short distance from each other. Everybody is saying that this is the best wedding that they have attended, and it has become the new standard of how to have a wedding for our family and friends. Here is a quick example which gives a sample of the flavor and feeling of the event. At the end, everyone is wrapping up and leaving. One of the waiters went up to my husband, shook his hand, and with tears in his eyes said, “Thank you for letting us share your time of happiness.”

I have nothing but amazing things to say about everyone who helped us plan our reception at River City. Namely, Claire and Carly were primarily involved in the tastings, details, and day-to-day communication. They were top notch. I always received prompt answers to emails, and they made me feel like anything I wanted was reasonable and would be taken care of. They were extremely professional while also excited to see the planning come together. I felt like they were rooting for me to have the best day imaginable. They delivered on every aspect. They went above and beyond with communication, updating preferences, and ensuring we were always on the same page. I never had to worry that something was going to be missed. I had nearly no stress going into wedding week thanks to their organization and professionalism. River city also offers a lot of helpful benefits that many other vendors do not. They contacted all vendors the week of the wedding for us and arranged pick up/drop off for party bus, florist, and ensuring DJ had everything they needed for set up. They had centerpieces, table cloths, various easels/tables, cake stand, cutting knives etc. They provided the small things so I didn’t have to spend a ton buying things for one day. They have workers on site to make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the reception. They were all kind and professional. Food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, and we have been getting a ton of compliments. They also allow you to customize your seating chart so there’s no strict “8 to a table” where you’re forced placing people together who may not know each other. This made it simple to make our seating chart-something that takes a lot of brides a lot of time. They also offered complimentary stay the night of and the night before the wedding, and they had staff that brought gifts to our room so we didn’t have to worry. Due to the high security at the casino and professionalism of staff, I had no worries about any form of stealing of gifts or worry about placing them in someone else’s hands. They set out any additional decor/signs we had, so we didn’t have to allocate a family member or friend to do that on the wedding day. They saved our top tier of our cake and arranged pick up with one of our family members while we were on our honeymoon. It was very evident throughout the entire process that they are experts in planning beautiful events for large groups. I can’t think of anything to complain about, and would highly recommend this vendor to anyone.

We had our wedding reception at the River City Casino and I couldn't have asked for a better night! Everything was amazing! The food is so delicious no matter what choice you go with! Carly our coordinator was amazing too! She was so helpful and quick with everything. We planned our reception literally last minute and she made it super easy and stress free for us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was so great!

the absolute best place we could have ever chosen for our wedding! the staff was amazing and very helpful. our wedding planner, Claire, did a excellent job with helping us plan, answer questions whenever we needed, and assist us on the day of the wedding. i loved the fact that we could have a ceremony, reception, hotel, and entertainment all in one place. our guests gave us so many compliments on how they enjoyed the venue being outside under the pavilion and being able to gamble after lol. they also have a cute bridal suite and groom suite to get ready/hang out before. lastly, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely efficient changing the room from the ceremony to the reception. just overall, the experience and hospitality was 1000000/10! highly recommend! can’t wait to go back for our anniversary! photos are: devin curtis photography

My daughter’s wedding was in September, and the River City venue was, by far, absolutely perfect in every way. We started planning for the event a year and a half ago. Kate started us off on the right track and was excellent to communicate with. Then, Kate moved on and we were in the hands of Claire. Claire was the wedding coordinator fairy! As the mom of the bride, I had to plan the event with my daughter long distance, which made it very challenging at times. Claire was extremely patient and answered all of my many questions right away putting me at ease. As a very detailed oriented person, I had many requests…..every single one was granted. My daughter and her husband wanted a sneak peek of the venue space before guests came through the door. Claire arranged for them to be dropped off at a specific place to come in the back door~she even had their signature cocktails waiting for them! We reserved the bridal and groom rooms so everyone could get ready. They were beyond perfect and spacious. The food, drinks and service were impeccable. The banquet staff worked very hard to serve and clean the tables. They even picked up all of our decorations at the end of the night and organized them on a separate table which made our clean up the next morning very easy. The event space was beautiful, the staff was amazing (every single one, even hotel staff), and Claire is beyond a doubt remarkable at what she does. Guests raved about how wonderful everything was. I am so thankful and grateful we chose River City.

Dont know where to begin, Katherine Michler and all the River City staff were PHENOMENAL for our wedding events. The outstanding hospitality and team work that helped put our special events together is something I will never forget. If you are looking into a wedding venue, PICK THIS. You will never regret it. Katherine and the team had consistent communication with us and our vendors and coordinated every detail the way we wanted things to be. They were so accommodating for our guests, and the front desk staff was so helpful and kind to each and every guest. All of our guests raved about their experience at River City and we will definitely be coming back :)

Our wedding day was amazing and was definitely one of a kind. Everything was perfect. From the beautiful drapes, to the food, the LED lights, and just the overall service. Claire and her team were on point with communication, professionalism, and they did everything and anything to make sure that our day was perfect! I cannot thank them enough for all of what they did for us to make sure that things were going smoothly and on time.

We had the best experience having our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner at River City Caino and Hotel. We had the absolute best night at River City for our wedding reception!! Kate was SO amazing to work with and so helpful throughout the whole planning process. The reception was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing - we are still getting compliments! Kate made our vision come true! I could not recommend River City more!!! My husband and I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding day, largely because of river city casino. I can’t recommend this place enough! Kate was great to work with and all the staff were amazing! I would book this venue again for all brides who ask. It was the perfect location with the hotel on site, casino on site, late night food on site, and the ballroom is so beautiful, and big enough for a large wedding.

We could not be more happy with the performance of the entire staff of River City. The attention to detail was amazing, the communication excellent, and the performance unmatched. Starting with the sales manager, her creativity, knowledge, and willingness to do whatever it took to make the reception a dream come true for the bride and groom. We couldn't have been more pleased with the environment and staff at River City Casino. From our first meeting with Kate, we knew she would be as meticulous with details as we were. She happily responded to every question and email (no matter how minor) that we had. The ballroom looked spectacular with the draping package and guests all said the food was incredible! Staff addressed all needs the night of the reception immediately, and both the bride and groom said it was the best night of their lives. Being able to spend the night at the hotel allowed the "party" to continue until the wee hours of the morning!! As the parents of the bride, we couldn't be happier with how RCC helped make our daughter's wedding the best ever!

My husband and I cannot recommend River City Casino’s Event Centre enough for a reception!! It is beautiful, spacious, and versatile! Our coordinator was so helpful, thoughtful, kind and accommodating. She made sure everything went to plan and made sure to check in with us often! From our cocktail hour to the end of the night everything had gone perfect! The staff made sure our guests had what they needed and made our wedding party feel less nervous during their entrances to the party! We felt supported throughout our whole wedding planning experience and have already been recommending this venue to other engaged couples!

We’ve been married for over a month and our guests are still talking about the wedding! Kate made it stress-free and when we saw the room for the first time with all of the details we had selected, it blew us away. The food and the staff were also great! River City had the best pricing for our big wedding. It was perfect having ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and hotel all in one building. Their staff is well equipped to handle any size wedding. Our sit down dinner was amazingly timed and delicious. The whole experience of planning was very organized and extravagant. Their event coordinator Kate was only a phone call/ email away always. All together a perfect space!

there aren't enough words that i can say about this place, the venue was beyond amazing, the food, the staff the service EVERYTHING was perfect, working with Kate Skredenske and Christina Eller was the best decision ive ever done, Kate made me more excited about my wedding, she was quick to respond and was always at help, Christina helped me put my wedding dress on, i can not get over how much at peace they made me feel. i extremely recommend this venue and recommend working with Kate and Christina, you wont regret it i promise.

Words can't describe how incredibly grateful I am to Kate and her staff. Everything on my wedding day went so smoothly. They helped set up all of my centerpieces, table numbers, signs, etc. Kate was on top of everything and helped make my day so special. The food, venue, and atmosphere was absolutely perfect! We loved the stage and set up of the venue, it fit everything perfectly. If you have a big wedding and love to have a good time, River City is the place to be! It was a night everyone will remember. Some people have said it was "the wedding of the century." None of this would have been possible without the incredible River City staff!

There are not enough great things to say about this venue. It’s beautiful, the food is to die for, the hotel is AMAZING. This place was perfect for our large guest list, where most of them were traveling to us and staying at the hotel. We received nothing but compliments from everyone that attended our wedding. We had our ceremony in front of the fountain outdoors and it was such a gorgeous setting for the day. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner there as well which was so convenient for us, our families, and our wedding party. The entire day went smoothly thanks to the day of wedding coordinator, Kate. She was THE BEST and was so helpful during the planning process. Our entire wedding day and reception turned out to be more than we could have ever wanted thanks to this venue ❤️

We had a wonderful time ! All the guest said it was the best food they have ever had at a reception! Everyone enjoyed themselves! We have lots of littles in the family and the venue was very accommodating. Kate S . was great to work with. We thank you River City for a great event and to all the servers too! We got a break on the weather too with some cooler temps.

This venue was absolutely stunning!! As soon as I walked in, I knew that my wedding would be everything I’ve ever dreamed of! The best part was working with Kate Skredenske! She was JUST as excited about my wedding as I was! Her energy and willingness to set everything up just as I wanted was so appreciated! She made sure I had ZERO worries the day of my wedding! I cannot rave enough about how awesome my day was!

We had to push our wedding date back and they were extremely accommodating. Our coordinator was also switched during this time but Kate was absolutely amazing. She was detailed, kind, and made the day of way less stressful for my husband and I. The venue was gorgeous and the food was a huge hit. 100/10 would recommend.

If I could give 5+ stars, I would. My original venue burned down 60 days before our wedding and it was a blessing in disguise because River City Casino had our date open and Megan was AMAZING. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing - our guests keep talking about how good it was - and Megan took care of everything! Guests stayed right there on property which made everything 10x easier. I wish I could relive it all again!

Such a great venue to work with! Christina our event manager went above and beyond in every step to make sure the details were everything we were envisioning. She was such a phenomenal liaison for wedding planning, provided great recommendations all along the way, was so open to all of my ideas and extremely accommodating. We did not use a wedding planner, but having River City be our reception venue, our getting ready venue, our rehearsal venue, our caterer, our guests' hotel block, and our after party location, Christina served very much as a wedding planner for us! The staff at River City were always helpful in person. The phone calls to book hotel rooms was our biggest frustration, as the company has all phone calls directed to an off-site location and that caused a lot of issues with guests booking their hotel rooms within the block discount. Overall would highly recommend! The site is clean, BEAUTIFUL, luxurious, and romantic. And we were offered a free one-year anniversary night at the hotel with dinner at the Steakhouse! They truly seek to make your wedding an above and beyond special experience, not just doing the bare minimum.

My Husband and I were so happy after our wedding! Christina was amazing to work with and as a bride I had no stress in the world! I would 100% recommend this venue. It was elegant, and beautiful. The reception had amazing food and with 250 people it tasted just like what we had tried when we sampled! Please give them a chance for your wedding!

I'm honestly not even sure where to start with how AMAZING my experience was with Megan and the team at River City. From the very start Megan was so helpful and I did not realize how much I would need her expertise and lean on her help. I honestly had never been to River City but was hooked after my initial meeting. Megan was extremely responsive to every email, call, question I had. She helped me plan every detail for the night and understood my vision. She was so helpful and accommodating with all the hotel bookings / getting calls from wedding guests, and then having to reschedule everything out a year. Megan just made me feel so much less stressed about everything, even when red wine was spilt on my dress during cocktail hour :). Megan was right there helping get it all off! Then the wedding night was everything I could've dreamed of and more - the room was STUNNING (definitely recommend the draping, wow), the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was amazing. We keep getting told by guests how much fun and beautiful the night was, and Megan and River City made it all possible. I wish I could go back and re-live it all again, and I wouldn't change a thing. Seriously you can not go wrong with this venue, highly recommend!! Can not thank Megan and team enough!!

Megan takes the stress out of everything. She really goes out of her way to make your wedding day MORE than perfect and even saved the day when my veil fell off in the hotel room when we were leaving. She drove it over to the church and got it to me minutes before I walked down the aisle. The food was amazing and everything was beautiful. I have ZERO complaints.

Where do I even begin with River city and the incredible Megan Jung?! I mean WOW! First I’ll start with the venue itself, absolutely beautiful!!! This venue has it all! The food and service were incredible all night, and this can be hard to do when you have a large guest list. We added the draping and up lighting and OMG. It was absolutely breathtaking and everyone to this day still raves about how gorgeous it was!! This venue has it all, we had champagne toasts for all guests and wine service with dinner as well which was a huge selling point for me to have! The best part about River City is Megan Jung, the coordinator. From day one when we met she was the sweetest and really helped us to have the perfect day we envisioned! We had to postpone due to COVID and Megan was there every step of the way to make it a stress free process! Megan was so prompt to answer all of my emails over the last 2.5 years. Leading up to my big day. She met with me to go over all the details and really was able to help me envision what the room would look like! There were many times I had to call Megan to get more opening for rooms for my guests and she was always right on top of it all! The week of my wedding, we were able to bring up all of our decor items and anything we needed so we didn’t have to feel rushed the day before. After the wedding, the staff had everything in boxes for us for easy transportation as well! The morning of my wedding, Megan came to my room to check on me to make sure I had everything I needed and made sure I knew that everything would be taken care of. She did all the communication with my florist, transportation and cake/desert vendors so I didn’t have to worry about any of it! Later on when it was time to head back to River City, she made sure we got to take a look at the room before all our guest were able to come in and we were speechless! The room was everything we wanted and more!! I loved that she did this for us so we could take a minute and soak it all! During my cocktail hour we had a little difficulty getting my bussel and Megan stayed and helped until we got it right! The tiny but big gesture meant the world to me! As we headed into the reception Megan made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, such as serving us appetizers since none of were able to get any at the cocktail hour, serving us drinks from the bar and just making sure everything was perfect! The staff throughout the reception were top notch!! They really made sure all of my guests were all taken care of and it truly was noticed how amazing they were all night long!! After we got back to our room Megan even had left us a note and a bottle of champagne for us to have as a new married couple! I can’t tell how amazing Megan is! River City has a huge part of my heart during this entire wedding planning journey and I’m so sad it has come to a close, but if anyone reading this is looking for the best prices in town with the best service and quality food, this is the venue for you!! You will not be disappointed!!

Megan Jung is a great event/ wedding coordinator! My daughters veil was left in suite and she drove it to the Church in time for the wedding ceremony! She makes sure everything flows beautifully too at reception ! Porta Party DJ was great too!

Simply put, there is not a better venue out there than River City! One of the absolute BEST things about this venue is the wedding coordinator, Megan Jung. She was there for us 100% of the time, even when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID 19. During the months leading up to our wedding, my now husband, would often comment that he was beyond happy knowing I was stress free due to Megan and her team who were there to help with anything and everything we had questions about or needed help with coordinating. One to three weeks before the event, Megan and her team ensured proper hotel arrangements for our wedding guests, met with me to review the décor set up for the cocktail hour and reception hall, and stored all of our decorations and table favors. On the day of the event, Megan and her team distributed hotel room “Guest favors” as people checked in, worked directly with our transportation providers, made accommodations for our hair and makeup services, and checked in with us to ensure that we had absolutely everything we needed. After our ceremony and photos, as we were arriving back to River City, Megan and her team greeted us with umbrellas to prevent our wedding party from getting wet, unloaded our bus, put items back in our hotel rooms, kept us on our timeline, and escorted us to the green room where they had additional staff there to serve us appetizers and drinks. During the event, EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of the staff was extremely courteous and attentive. Without having to ask, Megan and her team secured all of our cards/gifts back to our hotel room and even left a thoughtful surprise. The day after our wedding, the staff had all of our décor neatly packed and ready for us to pick up. We have been receiving nothing but positive feedback on how delicious the food and drinks were, how beautiful the room looked and friendliness of the staff. River City’s prices are comparable to other venues, but what sets it apart from the rest, are all of the incentives River City offers you when you spend certain amounts. We were able to provide all of our guests with champagne toasts, offer wine service during dinner, enjoy two nights in a director’s suite, and have a wedding coordinator for roughly the same price you would pay elsewhere for only the location, food, and drinks. Thank you River City for the memories and the experience!

There is only one word that can describe my wedding at River City Casino, AMAZING. Every single aspect was perfect, Megan and her team did an absolute wonderful job with everything. Answered all my questions throughout the whole planning process, made it my day a breeze knowing she had everything handled. FOOD WAS TO DIE FOR-I received so many compliments on how great the food was. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and set up. It was everything I've ever dreamed of and more, as cliche as that sounds, it is true. If you are considering booking River City Casino for you wedding, do it, I promise you wont be disappointed.

Megan and Christina at River City were amazing! It was not easy planning a wedding let alone hosting a wedding during COVID but these two made it so much easier for us and did everything they could to keep things fun and safe for everyone. The decor in the room and the way the reception was set up was absolutely stunning - I found a google photo of a previous even they had and asked them to set up the same way. It exceeded my expectation from that photo and was even better than I could have imagined. The food also was fantastic and we got tons of compliments from guests. Megan was organized and accommodating for all guests - any worry I had she was there to help me in any way she could. Highly recommend you have your reception here - especially if you are debating venues during COVID restrictions. They have the capacity to host the reception you are dreaming of and still maintain guest safety concerns and adhere to guidelines. Thank you River City for an amazing night we will not forget for the rest of our lives!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Megan from River City! She was so patient and answered our numerous questions. She also arranged our favors and helped with our technical needs during the reception. We were able to enjoy it from start to finish without worrying about set up or clean up. I cannot stress enough how effortless Megan made this process. We relied on her expertise the whole way through. From working with our vendors to making sure everything ran smoothly. Also, planning a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic had many challenges, but River City made us and our guests feel safe with their precautions. The staff at River City were very attentive to our needs. We had some guests with allergies and dietary requirements, and they verified each of them by name before serving them. We loved the food and have received many compliments from our guests! We are so thankful we chose River City to host our wedding reception!

Megan was an angel! She was super easy to work with, and was able to help me reschedule my wedding due to the pandemic, not just once, but twice! Things kept changing, and my husband and I decided to have our wedding ceremony at River City, and postpone our reception until things calm down. Megan was amazing, and my wedding day was beautiful! I look forward to working with her in the future when we decide to schedule our reception.

I can not say enough about working with the staff at River City. Our wedding was supposed to be in May but then Covid happened. Megan and Christina helped us through rescheduling due to all the county restrictions and were so accommodating with the prices due to the new guest count restrictions. Despite covid, they made our special day so perfect! With all the changes we had to go through, they helped us so much and took all that stress away. We wouldn't have been able to do all of this without them. I highly recommend River City for your wedding!

I can’t express enough how amazing River City was to plan our wedding and reception!! Megan and Christina were always helpful. Megan answered all of the million emails I sent asking questions. With all the changes that happened during this year they constantly kept us in the loop about what we had to change or do. Our wedding 100% would not ave happened during all of this if we didn’t have the team at River City helping us!! They made our entire day of completely amazing! They set up the entire ceremony, made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and got everyone down the aisle. They were also very helpful in making sure we got all the photos we needed. They flipped the entire ceremony into our reception and they set up everything so amazing!! We didn’t have to do anything or even worry about anything being done! They took care of absolutely all of it!! Seriously best venue to get married at! And their event center is gorgeous!!! I promise you won’t regret getting married or having your reception here! And the food the chef cooked for our wedding was amazing!! We had to switch to plated dinner about a month or so out and he made the best dinner! Everyone is still talking about our food!! Seriously! The Wedding and Reception were just spectacular due to what was obviously expert planning and attention to detail. Megan and the servers along with the bar attendants made the evening a lot of fun. The food was just spectacular and was served professionally and attentively. A great atmosphere for this Wedding.

I can not say enough what a wonderful job Megan did with all the planning of our sons and newly daughter in laws wedding ! How can I even beging to explain the incredible experience we had with River City and planning our wedding reception. From the initial meeting to the wedding day, the ladies at River City (especially Megan) made everything run so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They were so helpful in customizing the perfect wedding reception for us- from the appetizers, to the main course, to bar packages- they were so accommodating to anything we asked for and really made sure to stay in our price point. They were in contact with all of our other vendors, so my husband and I didn't have to plan any of the timelines for the reception. They did it all for us! River City set up and tore down all of our decorations, and made sure to send us extra dinner plates to my husband and I's room for after the reception. They are so incredibly thoughtful. And let me tell you- the food is still the rave of all of my guests. They cannot stop talking about how delicious the food was. I cannot thank River City enough for making our night so special and so worry free. We were able to truly enjoy every moment, and we have River City to thank for all of it.

I don't even know where to begin to talk about how amazing Megan, Christina, and the rest of the River City staff were! I never thought I would have my reception in a Casino Hotel buuuuuut I am SO glad that I did! We had a lot of wedding guests staying at the hotel, so that meant a lot of people in the hotel block, a lot of coordination about where to put the families, and a lot of emails, phone calls and questions. But everyone handled it so well! They had all of the rooms prepared upon arrival, even with bar stools for the makeup artists in the bathroom! Even with some hiccups in the transpiration on the wedding day, Megan remained calm with a smile on her face and got everyone where they needed to be, right on time. She handled every phone call and text and got everything done! Every vendor said that the venue was so accommodating to their needs and even the DJ said that they made his setup the easiest it has ever been! Megan handled every little request and made the entire day and reception exactly what I wanted it to be. She kept everyone happy and organized and did it all with a smile on her face. I will miss emailing her every few days with wedding questions and details! P.S. -- To all the brides-to-be, the draping and the go-bo's in the ballroom are 100% worth it!!! The photos and videos look INCREDIBLE!

My husband and I searched up and down for an incredible and affordable venue for our ceremony. River City was just that & more. Not only did they have an incredible venue but they also had a list of vendor resources to make our experiences go smoother. Megan and Christina met with me several times without any hesitation. They made everything so easy for us. Anything I needed the day of the wedding they where there with me every step of the way to ensure our day was PERFECT and that it was. River City and the host were amazing and I greatly appreciate the terrific hospitality the team provided. If you are indeed looking for a place that has awesome staff, inexpensive, and beautiful this is it!

We absolutely LOVED having our reception at River City! Megan was so amazing to work with - super accommodating, prompt in replies, and just made the experience so much easier. We still have people raving about the food at our wedding too, so top notch kitchen as well! The venue is beautiful and fits a ton of people very comfortably. Would 100% choose River City if we got to do it all over again!

Megan, Christina and the whole banquet staff made one of the most important days of our lives so easy and stress free. We visited 8 different venues in the St. Louis area, and as soon as we finished our initial visit with Christina and Megan, we knew we had to have our wedding at River City. Both ladies always responded to all my emails super fast and were so easy to work with. The day of the wedding, we didn't have to lift a finger as they took care of setting up everything just as we had imagined. Everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful everything was, and how amazing the food was; most said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We also had our rehearsal dinner there, and the food and service was exceptional. I can't recommend having your wedding (or any event) here enough!

I’ll start with the most important thing to me. Because of the high level of accommodation the crew at River City provided, us newly-weds were able to enjoy the entire reception night without worrying about a thing! Shout outs to Haseeb, Christina, our Bartenders, and all of our dinner staff! Wedding planning can be very taxing. There were so many times Haseeb reminded me to take a deep breath and to trust him to do what he does best, make the venue beautiful and keep things rolling smoothly. And he did that and more! We were able to meet up or chat any time we had a question or concern, which were always addressed timely. We walked into the ballroom for the first and immediately *jaw drop* it was beautiful as can be and the entire staff were super accommodating not only to us, but to all of our guests as well. Now that I have been a bride, the support provided by the River City crew would be the level of support that I'd hope for every bride to experience. I highly recommend them! Happiest of wishes to all!
