We had our wedding at River Stone Manor this past fall. The venue was recently renovated and was even more beautiful than when we first toured it! The grounds were perfect for our outdoor ceremony. The staff (especially Ashley) were so wonderful and attentive. Highly would recommend this venue!
Booked prior to the change in owners and was worried about the change, but that concern was quickly put to rest. New management has been nothing but accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I couldn't imagine my wedding anywhere else. Food was exceptional and staff was amazing. I can't recommend it enough.
My wife and I just had our wedding reception at River Stone Manor and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. We had been married the year before (eloped to Las Vegas), so this was more of our party for family and friends and also a one-year anniversary celebration. As such, we had some very untraditional ideas for the event. Our wedding planner at River Stone, Ashley Dariano, and all of the River Stone team were exceptional about listening to our vision for the evening (including a non-traditional group activity instead of a ceremony) and bringing it to life. Ashley took the time to ensure she fully understood how we wanted things to flow and delivered 1000%. She communicated with us regularly leading up to the event and, after our final pre-event meeting with her, we were so excited because we knew it was going to be handled perfectly. The one curveball we dealt with that day was the weather (we wanted an outdoor “ceremony” activity and had our reception in the beautiful tent area; however, the River Stone team did not allow Mother Nature to derail our day. As the weather changed, things were moved swiftly from outdoors to the tent and the tent itself was equipped to protect us from a brief thunderstorm. The food was amazing! So many great options and our guests said that our food selections – including the mac & cheese and taco bars – really represented who we were as people. It was a balance of classy and casual. The staff was so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond, constantly checking in with us. And when it came to “game time,” Ashley was a total BOSS. We did not see her STOP once. She was checking in with our guests, pouring champagne, picking up plates, overseeing the changes of the evening, and just making sure no detail was left unattended to. Our “wow” moment was when one of our guests, who struggles with extreme food allergies and prepared us that she probably wouldn’t be able to eat much, approached us and said, “I’ve never been able to eat this much at a wedding before!” The staff was so attentive to her needs – it blew us away. Our guests are STILL talking about how amazing our reception was. Thank you so much to Ashley and all of the River Stone team for making our day exactly as we imagined it!

The River Stone Manor provided the perfect reception for our daughter and new son-in-law. The grounds are beautiful, the food was outstanding, the staff was very nice and helpful, and Ashley, who we worked with to plan the reception, was most helpful throughout the planning process and the day of the reception!
We had our wedding at River Stone Manor back in November. There was no other place I would have rather chosen. The venue is beautiful inside and out. The staff is amazing, I have to say I do not think I stressed about a single thing on the day of the wedding. They made sure our needs were catered to, and made sure we were happy with everything. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable Wedding Day!
I had the pleasure of officiating a wedding today at this venue, then I also attended with my daughter the reception. I cannot say enough nice things about this venue. The staff were on point, very pleasant very accommodating. The owners could not do more than they did for the wedding party. The property where the ceremony was was beautiful overlooking the Mohawk River, the reception space was beautiful, the food was exceptional, everything was properly seasoned came out piping hot one of the best meals I've ever had at a wedding also the DJ was great had everybody up there dancing the photographer was amazing. All in all it was an amazing event a magical wedding in a great venue. I would highly recommend Riverstone Manor for any of your wedding or large event needs.
We had our wedding at River Stone Manor on 8/12/2022 and they were phenomenal to work with. From our beginning venue search, to booking, all my questions, to the day of- they were courteous, professional, and beyond amazing. Us, our friends, and family can’t stop talking about the amazing food, the antipasto display was above board, the mashed potatoes to die for, all the hors d’oeurves and entrée’s – delicious is an understatement. The Manor House was a beautiful getting ready space for me (the bride) and the spread they put out for myself, and girls was perfect. The grounds and landscaping are incredibly picturesque and so well-manicured. The staff were amazing all night, serving, assisting guests, and cleaning up. The bartender Bob was top notch and kept our guests happy beyond belief. Maureen did an amazing job getting the wedding off without a hitch, and Kayla was a crucial part of our planning process. Skip shows an immense amount of pride in his business and rightfully so. River Stone Manor is an A+ venue and their attention to detail is first rate.
We just got married at River Stone Manor this past June and we truly cannot stop talking about the venue along with all our guests! It was absolutely beautiful! Between the grounds with the river behind the ceremony, the tent for cocktail hour and the well maintained reception building and last but defiantly not least the amazing manor house! Skip the owner, Kayla our wedding coordinator and the rest of his staff were so much more than we could have ever asked for. I truly cannot thank them enough for all their hard work that went into our perfect day and all leading up to it! If you’re looking for a venue, no need to look any further I’m telling you to book River Stone Manor you truly won’t regret it!

The River Stone was an amazing wedding reception venue. We had our cocktail hour in the tent outside and reception in the ballroom. We had a beautiful October day and our guests loved the outside space. The cocktail hour food was so good, people thought it was the entire wedding! We were treated incredibly well by the staff, and they made all the guest feel welcome. Dinner was also amazing, each entree was delicious. They were able to work with my vision for the day, and were even able to Skype with us for our meeting since I was planning from out of town. Would highly recommend the River Stone for your wedding!
Wonderful experience we could not habe chosen a better venue to have our wedding and ceremony. Skip and Renee were fantastic to work with. They took care of everything the day of so my husband and I could enjoy our wedding day stress free. Our guests commented that we had one of the best weddings and venues they have ever been to. We couldn’t have been any happier with River Stone! Skip and Rena worked with us from the start to make a package worked in our price range, and couldn’t have been more accommodating leading up to our big day. They were VERY quick to respond to any last minute questions that last week, which is amazing when you’re stressing up until the wedding. At and after the wedding the first thing our guests commented on was the amazing scenery. They couldn’t believe the beautiful back drop for the wedding, and even said they couldn’t believe a place that beautiful was so close to the city of Schenectady. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to book for a wedding, shower, or even a small event. It was beyond our wildest dreams!
We loved having our reception at the River Stone! Everyone complimented the beautiful grounds and the absolutely delicious food. I still have people telling me the maple glazed chicken was the best chicken they have ever had! Renee and Skip were amazing and checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were taken care of and that everything was to our liking. They were also very accommodating to our team of helpers that came in early to set up extra decor for the reception. I want to re-live our reception over and over because it was absolutely flawless. Thank you so much to the River Stone team for an amazing day!
Rena and Skip gave us the wedding of our dreams! They did such a nice job making sure everything was exactly how we wanted and accommodated us in every aspect- including allowing our pup Remy be apart of our ceremony! Choosing River Stone Manor for our reception venue was perhaps the best decision for our wedding. The grounds are beautiful, from the house on the property, the gardens, and the view of the river. Rena was an amazing to work with. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and always had our best interest at heart. On our wedding day, she personally made sure everything went flawless. The food was incredible. From the abundant appetizers to the three course meal, everyone left full. The service was exceptional. We highly recommend River Stone Manor for any function you may have!
My daughter and her fiance had their June 2018 wedding at Riverstone Manor. I firmly believe the weather was as picture perfect as it could be because of Angelo "Skip" Sgarlata. Skip is the owner of Riverstone and anything that can be done, Skips does it. The entire team at Riverstone was accommodating to Natalie and Chris and all of their requests. Rena and Maureen handled all of the arrangements - Rena in the ballroom and Maureen in the Mansion. The Mansion, by the way, is an original home from the 1800's and Natalie and the bridesmaids were able to dress and prepare for the wedding in their own room. It is a very relaxing home and Maureen took special care of us as I'm sure she does with each bride. The wedding venue along the Mohawk River was just so pretty. They were married, in the morning, in a grove of shade trees under an arch with the river as the backdrop. We then went up to the Ballroom for cocktails and such tasty and delicious appetizers. The ballroom was stunning; light and airy with full length windows showcasing the beautiful spring day, and an outdoor patio to mingle with all of our friends and family. Sitting down to our dinner of three courses, each one delicious and well executed. The room is spacious and lots of dancing and toasts and speeches ensued. The happy couple wanted a fun and unique wedding and Skip and his entire team - front of the house and back of the house delivered. I would recommend Riverstone Manor to anyone.

Ballroom- spacious, fresh, elegant, light with a wall of windows and chandeliers
Staff- servers were attentive, energetic, friendly, and helpful; Rena, banquet manager- provided great advice for decorating, other vendors options, and menu; ongoing great communication in planning and very attentive to our wishes

When we first set foot on River Stone Manor, we immediately fell in love with the gorgeous grounds and location of this beautiful venue. Situated along the Mohawk Hudson River surrounded by trees and a well manicured lawn and gardens, we knew right away that the owner and staff here take pride in this facility. Skip, the Owner, and Rena, the Banquet Manager met with us initially and in every step of the process and were so helpful. We rented the beautiful historical Manor House so that I and my matron of honor could get ready prior to the ceremony. This, as it turns out, is Skip's residence and was absolutely stunning inside. Rena and Skip were both working at our wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. Rena checked on me frequently during the pre-ceremony prep to make sure we had everything we need. We had our ceremony on the lawn in front of the river and the reception under the tent. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour and food at the reception. This place is a gem and our wedding was picture perfect. Thank you Skip and Rena!

I loved having my wedding at the River Stone Manor! The grounds were gorgeous and my husband and I were treated like VIP's. The food was excellent and everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. They take care of everything!
Our 5/25/12 wedding at River Stone Manor was a wonderful event. Our guests complimented the setting and the food and many told us it was the best wedding they'd been to. Overall, we had a great experience with RSM: Amber was always available by email/phone for answers to questions and there were no shady extra fees/charges. The one mistake I have to disclose is that we found out (after the wedding) that guests were served the wrong steak. There were two choices for steaks, and we decided upon ours (bistro steak with whiskey butter sauce.. mmm.. it's delicious!) in December. We found out a few days after the wedding that guests were served the other choice, though.. the steak with balsamic salsa. Skip was very apologetic for the mistake and worked with us to compensate us for it. The food that night was also extremely peppery and many guests commented on this (I actually couldn't eat my potatoes because of how peppery they were, and I like spices). This surprised us because the food was so delicious during our tasting-- hopefully just a fluke. I would definitely recommend RSM and hope to have many occasions to work with them in the future.
The grounds and ballroom at River Stone are absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. The accommodated our outdoor wedding following a flood and made it flawless. The ballroom was set up perfect and the services was phenomenal throughout the evening of our wedding.
We ended up at River Stone Manor after our other venue fell through, they were accomodating to our situation and amazing to work with. Amber and Skip were always quick to reply to emails and voicemails, we never once felt like we were out of the loop on what would be happening the day of our wedding. Even with the hurricane flooding they were able to move our ceremony space and still create a beautiful day outside. When our wedding day came everyone was able to just relax and be there because the staff took care of absolutly everything. I have heard from many friends and family that it was hands down the BEST wedding they have ever attended, from the ceremony to the reception and food. I would highly reccommend having your wedding there, it was the best experience of my life.

My husband I really loved having our wedding there and all of our friends and family were really impressed by it. I can't recommend River Stone enough!!
amber the wedding consultant was absolutely amazing! She is friendly and organized! She was constantly checking in with my husband and I and my parents' to make sure we had everything we needed. The owner skip also came out, helping out, and making sure everything met our standards. Our friends and family raved about how great the food was! It is a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for and that was terrific food and service!!
We were EXTREMELY pleased with River Stone!! The owner, Skip, was willing to work within our budget and saved us a ton of money! Gourmet food and atmosphere without the price tag to match!!
