Multi-year award-winning Riverdale Manor is a historic wedding venue in Lancaster, PA, serving couples in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Delaware for 17 years. Nestled on six acres of wooded land and gardens, the manor dates back to the 1800s. Owned and operated by Maureen and John Raezer, the site boasts waterfront views of the Conestoga River, providing couples with picturesque backdrops. Fully restored and with modern amenities, this secluded property is minutes from downtown Lancaster. Couples can exchange vows in an outdoor or indoor ceremony, and Riverdale Manor can accommodate up to 200 guests for a banquet reception. The indoor/outdoor Pavilion offers rustic elegance with timber interiors. The Terrace has a stone fireplace and an excellent cocktail hour setting. Both pavilions are heated and can be opened and closed in a moment in case of inclement weather. The ballroom is a grand and spectacular space that boasts lofty beamed ceilings and reclaimed wooden floors. Its expansive windows allow light to flood the space, making it ideal for photographs. Iron-hanging chandeliers complete the vintage style of the room. The wedding party has two suites in the attached farmhouse to prepare for the event in privacy. Riverdale Manor hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions and provides an event coordinator to assist with planning your wedding. The team of dedicated staff will be on-hand for food and beverage service and will take care of the setup and cleanup of the event. The bar staff and all non-alcoholic supplies are provided. You provide whatever alcohol you would like to have served. The rental includes one hour of rehearsal time, and you may use the grounds before the ceremony for a magical wedding photoshoot. Items such as glassware, china, and flatware are provided, and linens and napkins are available to rent in various colors. The coordinator can provide a list of recommended vendors to ensure excellent service throughout the day, including DJs, musicians, photographers, officiants, and florists. Catering at Riverdale Manor is provided exclusively by Thyme and Seasons Catering, Lancaster County’s premiere caterer for over 30 years. This culinary team is skilled in various styles and has an extensive menu for you to select for a custom event. Couples can schedule tastings before the event to choose from seated-served meals or fun station options. A range of dessert options is also available, with a selection of two-tiered wedding cakes, pies, cakes, tarts, cobblers, mini pastries, and novelties such as s’mores bars. We had the absolute BEST wedding at Riverdale Manor! Monica was a delight to work with and was so helpful throughout the whole process. I don't know how people plan weddings without coordinators!! There are so many small details we wouldn't have thought of, but Monica made sure no small detail was overlooked and helped us make our day even more special. We cannot thank Monica, Maddy, and the whole Riverdale Manor staff enough for such a lovely day! Everyone at Riverdale Manor was so kind and helpful and they really made our day feel effortless and stress-free. We didn't feel an ounce of stress the entire day. All the spaces are beautiful and the food was delicious! The whole team here is accommodating, flexible, and overall wonderful. We are so glad we got married here!! We cannot recommend this venue enough!

Riverdale Manor was a perfect place for our December wedding - though it would be for any season! The grounds and buildings create a stunning backdrop for a timeless wedding. Maureen and her staff ensured the day was more than we could have ever dreamt! The whole process was easy and Maureen ensured no detail was overlooked. The day was AMAZING and they ensured that. Our guests kept commenting on the beauty of the venue. Also, everyone could not get over the PHENOMENAL food - Riverdale's caterer Thyme & Season is exceptional!

We had an overall very positive experience with Riverdale Manor. The grounds are beautiful, the food is DELICIOUS, and the staff was really helpful with the set-up and tear-down of everything. The only downside was having to have the rehearsal at 11am the day before (Friday), as we had several attendants who weren't able to make it because of work. They have events on Friday nights, so I understand completely, but just something to consider!

Getting married at Riverdale Manor was an absolute dream come true! From the stunning location to the incredible staff, every detail exceeded our expectations. We had the pleasure of working with Monica, who is an absolute gem. She’s sweet, kind, and her excitement for us made the entire planning process so enjoyable. She broke everything down into manageable steps, making what could have been an overwhelming process simple and stress-free. The venue itself is breathtaking. We got married in November and utilized the enclosed patio with heat lamps and a fireplace—it created the coziest and most romantic atmosphere. The serene location overlooking a river was exactly what we were looking for. Riverdale Manor also provided the catering through their company, Thyme and Season, and I cannot praise them enough. My family has a very long list of allergies (soy, shellfish, legumes, dairy, beans, eggs... to name a few), and as a gluten-free bride, I was worried about the food. But the team handled it all flawlessly—no one had an allergic reaction, which was my biggest concern, and we received so many compliments on the food. Seriously, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was! The staff at Riverdale went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. One of the most special surprises was after the ceremony when they escorted us to a private room with champagne and hors d'oeuvres. It gave us a quiet moment to soak in everything and enjoy each other before joining the reception—it was such a thoughtful touch. Having worked as a bartender and server for over 8 years and have worked my fare share of weddings, I can confidently say I’ve never been more impressed with a venue and their team. Riverdale Manor truly blew us away, and we are so grateful to them for making our day unforgettable. Stop reading reviews and book with them—you will not regret it!

There are so many wonderful things about this venue it's hard to know where to start. The venue itself is beautiful from the ballroom to the pavilion to the farmhouse to the grounds. As a same-sex couple it was very important to us to have two rooms of equal size to get ready in. Riverdale Manor delivered with two spacious rooms for each party! While planning the entire wedding our wedding coordinator Monica was such a big help! Not only is she such a kind person but she is well organized and knowledgable. Our wedding timeline ran on time/early all night due to Monica's hard work! We could not have asked for a better person to help make our wedding run smoothly! The catering for Riverdale is from Thyme and Seasons Catering and no outside option is available. But honestly I don't think we could of chosen a better catering option. The food from cocktail hour to dinner and to dessert was incredible! We got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the food was! Overall we could have not picked a more perfect location to have our wedding!

There is not enough starts to rate how awesome Allen was. He was above and beyond our expectations with the highest professionalism and the best charistma. Our wedding included a lot of spanish speaking people and his transitioning with languages was so smooth and amazing. He really heard and went with our vibe and music selections and brought it to the next level. I think I have never seen so many people dancing non stop coming from so many cultural backgrounds. We had so many of our friends and family asking for our DJ as many people was impressed with both his mysic and event handling. 300% recommend Allen is you want the best vibe and fun everyone dancing kind if party. It was a total pleasure to work with him 🫶🏼

Monica was our wedding coordinator at Riverdale and she was a pleasure to work with! Monica was always super quick to respond to emails, helped to provide reassurance when needed, and worked with us to help our visions come to life (no matter how many back and forth emails). She helped make the whole planning process as stress free as possible and helped our wedding day flow seamlessly. Riverdale Manor is the perfect combination of rustic, elegant, nature-focused and cozy. We and all of our guests loved the indoor/outdoor combination for the reception. And the food was amazing, all of our guests only had good things to say about it. Would highly recommend stations for mingling experience and ability to try all different types of food. Our cake made by Thyme & Seasons Catering not only looked gorgeous but also tasted delicious! Would highly recommend Riverdale Manor as a wedding venue!!!

I truly cannot say enough great things about our wedding at Riverdale Manor. From the moment we stepped on the grounds I loved the venue, with its equally beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The entire process, from choosing our menu, to setting up a tasting, to the day-of coordination was pretty much seamless. Oh and guests RAVED about the food - some even said it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding! Vashti was our coordinator and she was wonderful!!!! She answered all of my (many) questions throughout the planning process and was there the day of to set up decor and keep things running smoothly. Our wedding was truly the most beautiful and special day, and the staff at Riverdale Manor made that possible. I will always cherish these memories!!!!♥️♥️♥️

Riverdale Manor, and their entire wedding team were absolutely fantastic. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and works perfectly in all seasons, all times of year. The pavilion and outdoor covered cocktail hour space work perfectly rain or shine and the entire grounds of the venue are stunning. Monica and the coordinating team went above and beyond for my husband and I. Being located in CA, we were worried that there would be issues with communication and the planning process but Monica and the team worked effortlessly to ensure that everything was taken care of. I can not recommend Monica and the team at Riverdale Manor (including the inhouse catering of Thyme & Season) enough.

I just had my wedding reception and ceremony at Riverdale Manor on 4/21/24. The grounds are so perfect and Monica was an amazing event coordinator! They have an exclusive caterer (Thyme & Seasons) and their food is AMAZING! All night long my guests were raving about the food and the gorgeous venue. Monica was so helpful during my planning process, always answering my emails timely and helping make suggestions to make my event flow seamlessly. The day before the event I was able to drop off all my decor and they set it ALL up for me. She even has a whole list of preferred vendors which was very helpful as I am not a local. Thyme & Seasons catering was also a huge hit. We did stations (pasta, pacific rim, grilling) and the food was all cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. I wish I could have had more of it! Everything is tastefully decorated and the setup of the venue is so nice. I loved getting ready in the vintage farmhouse but also having a more modern ballroom area for the reception was nice. There isn't a single negative thing I can say about Riverdale Manor. If you are looking for a more garden vibe spring ceremony...this is your location!

You MUST book your wedding at Riverdale Manor! There are not enough positive adjectives to describe our experience with them. From the moment we toured, we were welcomed wholeheartedly by Maureen and her team. The coordinators are incredibly easy to work with and will answer your questions and concern promptly. The menu is extensive with so many unique options to choose from! Vashti, our coordinator, left no stone unturned and was able to fulfill all of our requests. During the wedding, her team was never far away from me or my husband. They got our plates of food, drinks, and anything else that we needed from the moment we arrived for our wedding day. Guests are still marveling at how beautiful and well-run the facility is. Multiple people told us the food was the BEST they’ve EVER had at a wedding. We had SO many leftovers that we were able to serve at our after party and beyond. As an additional perk, they had winter decorations up for our December wedding— with no cost to us— to add to the festivities.Thank you Vashti and everyone at Riverdale Manor for making our wedding day beautiful and stress free!

What an amazing wedding! The entire day could not have been more perfect! The staff at Riverdale was amazing and the food –OMG the food--the beautiful setting. It was more than I could have ever imagined it being for our daughter and son-in-law. Our guests are still raving about the entire event. Monica and Sam were so wonderful to work with. We appreciated the staff's communication, attention to detail, and overall kindness to our guests. Riverdale Manor was a great venue for our wedding. We had our wedding in late November, so we got married in the pavilion, where it was heated and very comfortable. Everything looked so great on the day of the wedding - the ceremony, the cocktail lounge and ballroom were all as good as we could’ve hoped. We also really enjoyed working with Monica as our wedding coordinator. She made everything so easy for us and handled all our details with ease. We felt like we were in capable hands from start to finish. Thyme & Seasons Catering also did a great job with all our food, everything tasted great and there were lots of options to choose from. FYI, if you do choose Riverdale, you’ll have to use Thyme & Seasons as your caterer. But overall, we were very happy with Riverdale as our venue, it’s an easy five stars for us!

Words cannot explain how happy we are we booked Riverdale Manor! They are so professional, kind, and responsive. Vashti was always fast with emails and responded to every question. She ran our rehearsal and day-of so smoothly and seamlessly. Everyone raved how gorgeous the grounds were, and how DELISH the food was! I know I'm biased, but it was honestly the best wedding food we've ever had. The staff brought my husband and I huge helpings of all food and were so attentive. They nailed all of our decor details/instructions and helped us pack everything at the end of the night. If I could rate Riverdale Manor more than 5 stars, I would! First, the staff at Riverdale exceeded our expectations. Monica, was always so responsive and available for any questions we might have. On our wedding day she did absolutely amazing in setting up my vision for our wedding and she truly took so much stress off of me as a bride and really let me just enjoy the day. She made wedding planning such a pleasure with her help and direction. The catering staff, bartenders & everyone else went above and beyond with service & did so wonderful with making the night flow. The food & drinks were amazing! I seriously cannot say enough great things about everyone who is apart of their staff. Not only is the staff fantastic, but the venue itself is perfect for hosting a wedding. I never worried about rain due to the fact they have beautiful rain plans. Our guests were able to spread out at Riverdale and enjoy the entire venue and were not limited to one space. Everything there is very well maintained & clean and you can tell they pay attention to details. Overall, I had the wedding of my dreams at Riverdale Manor & cannot thank everyone for making that dream come true! Thank you!!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Vashti paid close attention to every little detail to ensure we had the perfect day. Planning a wedding can be the most stressful thing you ever do but Vashti answered every question we had and replied to every email (I sent a lot) in a very timely manor. The venue is tucked away on the river to create the perfect intimate ceremony space. The food was excellent 10/10! My husband and I are both vegan and they accommodated us very well. The portobello Wellington is so amazing that my mother in law keeps trying to recreate it but it never turns out quite as good as the one we had at riverdale! We are so thankful to have had the opertunity to work with such a great venue and staff.

We couldn't have had a better experience having our wedding at Riverdale Manor! They were great to work with and made the process easy for us. Our coordinator Monica was super friendly and helpful, and took care of everything on the day of the wedding. It was so nice to have someone in the wedding industry to set everything up for the ceremony and reception, and decorate using the decorations we provided. It was so nice not to have to designate a family member to have to do that on the day of the wedding! Our guests had a great time and we received many compliments about the venue and the food from their catering company, Thyme & Seasons. Would recommend!

Where do I begin! It was truly a dream. Monica, the event coordinator was available, organized, and cheerful throughout the entire process! The food was exceptional! Especially the salad and salmon! The wedding day was such an elegant experience, I felt like a princess. The pavilion was spacious but also very intimate. The ballroom was large, elegant, and spacious for all the dancers. Having the patio area allowed for guests to space out and not feel clustered. I would 100% recommend this venue if you are looking for these types of experiences :)

Monica, Jackie and everyone at Riverdale Manor and the in-house caterer, Thyme and Seasons, exceeded our expectations. Monica was always prompt at responding to all of my questions. She is also very organized, friendly and on top of everything! The venue is beautiful, no matter the time of year (we had our wedding in February 2023.) We had numerous people tell us the food was the best they’ve had at any wedding they’ve been to. Monica and Jackie set up all of my decorations with little direction from me and nailed the look I was going for. I could go on and on, but if you book Riverdale, you won’t be disappointed. Wish we could relive that day :)

Their unique landscape and ability to use so mix of the property enabled our guests and to spread to have conversations, but also come together on the dance floor. Probably one of the best choices of our wedding day was booking Riverdale as our venue. We got married on a beautiful day in April, and our day was perfect from start to finish. We got married outside, but I loved the fact that I didn’t have to obsess over the weather beforehand, because the pavilion is stunning too. Our friends and family are still raving about the delicious food and gorgeous atmosphere. We worked with Sierra and she was extremely organized and helpful throughout the entire process. Pricing is very reasonable for all they have to offer. Highly, highly recommend having your wedding or event at Riverdale - you will not regret it!!

We had such an amazing wedding at Riverdale! The venue is beautiful and the perfect back drop for photos. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Riverdale Manor and their staff. We worked with Monica who was the best! She guided us step by step throughout the process and made planning our wedding day fun and easy. The day of the wedding the staff set everything up for us and helped pack everything up afterwards, which was a huge help to us and our family. It was truly the most magical day!

Monica and her staff at Riverdale Manor made my daughter's wedding perfect! The day of the wedding, they handled everything from set up to boxing up the centerpieces, etc. at the end of the night so we were all able to just enjoy the wedding. Having a winter wedding means that weather can be an issue. Being able to hold everything inside at Riverdale Manor from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception made it so much easier for the guests. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food was awesome. We did stations and they were a big hit! Thank you Monica for everything. It was truly a perfect day. The light dusting of snow made the outside photos awesome!

The perfect wedding venue if you are seeking indoor/outdoor layouts, rustic and charming themes, and not wishing to rent any supplies. Each couple is given an event coordinator and we had Monica, who was amazing!!! She handled literally everything. Reminders for meetings, payments, and decisions. We had a meeting to select the menu which she helped greatly with. Forgot to mention that Riverdale has their own catering company, Thymes and Seasons, so you essentially get everything you need at one shot. They provided tables, chairs, linens (which we got to select with the help of Monica and she organized the rental) and they even had many optional items at their venue that were available to use at no extra cost. Monica was there on our big day with an assistant to help everything go smoothly. She coordinated with all of our vendors so much so that I did not have to answer a single vendor call on our big day. The food was amazing, the service was also incredible. We received so many compliments on the venue and are so happy we chose it for our special day!

Everybody says to prepare for something to go wrong at your wedding, but truly nothing did. Melanie responded to tons and tons of emails and many changes beforehand. And when the day came, she ran everything like a well-oiled machine The venue itself is gorgeous. The wedding was over a month ago, and people are still complimenting its perfection for our romantic fall wedding. I was going for fairytale forest with lots of different jewel tone colors, and it was perfect without feeling like a basic barn or a stuffy castle. Pictures attached. Note: The pricing is itemized, down to every napkin. To some, this is a minus because it’s a lot more work for the client. To me, it was a plus because we weren’t stuck with a pre-made package and could custom-tailor every detail and make it fit our budget. Wow, we cannot say enough great things about Riverdale Manor!! This was the first and only venue we needed to see and it was so perfect for us from day one. We got the pleasure of working with Melanie - who consistently went above and beyond to be the most responsive throughout the entire process. From making sure we had enough food, to helping with decorations, and everything in between - we truly couldn’t have done it without all of her knowledge, recommendations and attention to detail! For the wedding day, Melanie kept everything running smoothly and ahead of schedule! Every single detail was perfect and everything went according to plan without a single hiccup - which is unheard of! There isn’t enough to say about Melanie and the staff at RM - we are truly grateful we got to meet and work with everyone for our special day! Everyone is still talking about how beautiful of a venue it is, how nice and helpful the entire staff was, and THE FOOOD - SO DELICIOUS. Everyone was obsessed with the slider bar, crab cake bites, and mini margarita pizzas to name a few! We can’t recommend RM enough!

Out of all the venues we looked at, nowhere came even close to Riverdale Manor! This venue is a "hidden" gem with a unique variety of indoor/outdoor spaces. They offer catering with pretty much ANYTHING you could imagine (mashed potato bar in martini glasses?!? yep.) with options to fit every budget -- and everything was absolutely delicious! Our wedding coordinator, Melanie, was INCREDIBLE and made sure everything went seamlessly throughout the planning process and wedding day. We received so many compliments on our wedding day about the venue -- and still are a month later!

We got married on 09/06/2021, and we honestly could not have picked a better place! Our coordinator, Melanie, was a rockstar from the second we toured the venue to the end of our reception. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! She was organized, professional, and very accommodating of our requests. She kept all of our vendors on the same page and ensured that everything ran smoothly during the event. She set up decorations, saved us from a last minute table number mishap, and checked on us during the event to make sure that we were okay! Additionally, the day-of assistant, Sierra, was incredibly friendly and professional. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are incredibly well kept, right to the bridal/groom suites. The food was delicious and the staff was so polite. We can’t say enough good things about this venue. They offer so much!

We got married at Riverdale Manor in September. Monica was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely amazing to work with. From the planning process to the actual day, she was prompt in answering any questions I had and was so helpful! The venue is beautiful and our day went so smoothly. I love that there are multiple ceremony locations and a beautiful plan B in case of rain which many other venues did not have. The food was AMAZING! All of my guests are still raving about their meals. We had the most perfect day and would recommend this venue to everyone!

The venue was very nice and beautiful. They took care of everything and everyone was very friendly. Monica was our wedding coordinator and she was great! The food is amazing too. Our ceremony ended up being pretty short and they worked the schedule around it very well. They also gave us a really cute ornament of the house.

I got married here back in December and our day turned out just as we imagined! We worked with Sierra and she was so professional and helped us capture the vision we dreamed of. She set up all our decor and stayed on top of our timeline to keep us organized throughout the day. Dani was her assistant and he was so helpful throughout the day with everything we needed. Also, the food was incredible! Thyme & Seasons Catering has the best chefs! We were so lucky to have snow on our wedding day and very happy we decided to hold our wedding at Riverdale! For anyone looking for an amazing experience, we highly recommend!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Riverdale Manor and it was definitely one of the easiest decisions we made! From the start they were transparent and so easy to work with. Monica was absolutely amazing and on top of everything! I am not the most organized person and she went out of her way so many times to ensure that we had the best day ever and we truly did. I would recommend Riverdale Manor to everyone, from the coordinators and planners to the event staff and servers, everyone was so great and welcoming to all of our guests. Monica made sure our day was a breeze and made our dream become all that we could have wished for and more! We couldn't thank her enough!!!!

We got married at Riverdale September 2021 and it was perfect. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Maureen ran everything so smoothly and all the guests were in awe of how stunning the venue is and how delicious the food was. One of the reasons I picked this venue over others was because they had multiple ceremony location options indoor and outdoor that were just as beautiful. So although it rained on my wedding day and the ceremony was moved into the pavilion, it was still a gorgeous ceremony and I didn’t feel like I was compromising my ceremony! No matter where you get married on the property you will be satisfied and guests will fall in love. Definitely recommend this venue you won’t regret it.

10/10 recommend Riverdale Manor for your wedding venue! I recently got married on Sept. 3rd and Melanie and her team worked extremely hard to provide us with the most seamless, beautiful wedding! Every little detail was exactly what I hoped for and much more. Melanie was so great through out the process. She was very organized, knowledgeable and remained clam during the wedding. I loved the venue so much! Due to the flooding, we had to switch the plan B but I ended up loving it way better! I wish we could relive this day! Everything was amazing !

My Husband and I got married at Riverdale Manor in August 2021. Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing thanks to all the hard work the staff at Riverdale put in. During the planning process, our coordinator, Melanie, was responsive and walked me through every step! Bless her heart for answering all of my millions of emails and making me feel like the it was bo big deal at all. Her constant and professional communication with me made planning a Covid wedding all that much easier. As for the venue, we ultimately chose Riverdale Manor because of how beautiful and well kept the venue was and the amazing Plan B option if it rained. They recently have built a new terrace and bar which we loved! I will recommend Riverdale Manor over and over again!

Riverdale was the best choice for us. The layout of the venue is great for guests to go wherever they want to go (hang in the ballroom, dance in the pavilion, play backyard games). Our guests loved the venue. Melanie and the crew were absolutely awesome helping us with everything. The crew even helped pack our stuff at the end of the night. I highly recommend Riverdale Manor for your special day.

Where to even begin? Riverdale Manor is utter perfection. Period. The second I stepped foot on the grounds, I knew it was meant to be our wedding venue. It's breathtakingly beautiful everywhere you look and at every time of day. The outdoor and indoor options are both to die for, which eases a lot of stress when talking about Plan B options if your first choice is to have your ceremony outdoors. The land has an endless amount of great photo spots that will give your photographers and videographers all kinds of fun things to work with. But those are all the highlights you'll learn very quickly after you visit. Let me tell you about some of the things you won't know until during or after your big day... 1) You and your guests will be OBSESSED with the food! You'll get a tiny hint of that at your tasting, but you will be blown away by how delicious every single thing is the day of. I wish I could have their halibut, bacon-wrapped shrimp and cake every day! 2) The staff are exceptional at what they do, and they are so sweet to your guests. (Danny in particular was amazing and so helpful!) 3) Every single detail you plan will be perfect. Be sure to soak it in! 4) Your coordinator will make sure your vendors have and know everything they need to to ensure your day is perfect. Maureen was our wedding coordinator, and I can't rave enough about her. She's incredibly detail-oriented and the most amazing thought partner. She'll not only bring your vision to life, but she'll help you refine it along the way. And the day of, she's handling it all so you can just be present and enjoy the day you worked so hard to create. We are BEYOND grateful for Maureen and her expertise -- if you have the honor of working with her, you truly have the best in the business (though I have no doubt every coordinator here is exceptional). Our day wouldn't have been the dream that it was without her. Riverdale will always hold the most special place in our hearts. We know you will love it endlessly, too!

We just got married at Riverdale Manor on 4/24/2021 and it was AMAZING. Monica our coordinator was so good we can’t brag enough about everything. From the planning process to the day itself it all went smooth and everything fell right into place. Our friends and family raved over the food and the beautiful views the venue provides. If we could do it all over again we would. This venue and staff are exactly what you need for and amazing day !!
