My new husband and I used them for our wedding. Everything was great! They were so accommodating to everything my husband and I asked. We got dressed up in the pub room and got some beautiful pictures up there too. My only complaint is that my dress’s train got filthy as soon as a put it on because the floor was dirty, I would just run a swifer to make sure the place is as clean as possible for the guests. Otherwise everything was great and I would recommend the beautiful Brewery to anyone that asked.
This is a great venue with plenty of options. We had the ceremony in their patio and the reception inside. The hall is beautiful and does not need extra decorating. The staff does an excellent job, we only had a couple of meetings and they did everything that we requested and more without any extra charges. the hotel upstairs is a plus, I had a spacious suite to get ready and for the wedding night. The area that is located is historical downtown, one block from the river.

First to say having your guest to reserve rooms is nearly impossible they are never at the desk most of our guest stayed T other hotels in the town. Second the rooms that were given were dirty nearly every room someone camplained from no bedding to underware left from previous guest. Found bats in hallways. When it came to the meal nearly every plate was dirty the cake plates were dirty . The meal wasn't as described was supposed to include corn on the cob and dinner rolls received no rolls and canned corn. Several guest having food poisoning like symptoms next day. Owners rude worst experience of my life only plus big beautiful reception hall
It is a beautiful venue space with a few downsides. They don't clean in between events and there was a hole in the wall. Communication is seriously lacking. It seems like their staff doesn't always know what to do and the owners are not the easiest to get in contact with. Food service was a little slow because they only bring out one plate at a time. You also have to keep track of all your paperwork and show them what you were promised for them to give it to you.
On the plus side their food was delicious and their hotel rooms are beautiful.
The space is pretty and well lit. I just had a genuinely unpleasant meal experience.
The wedding utilized the Brewery which is the most beautiful space in Yankton. I choose to use the diamond package which provides all the decorations, furniture, and fresh flowers. It was an excellent value and worth the money. My only complaint would be the lack of staff attention to bathrooms, keeping water available for guests, and slow dinner service.
Curt, the owner, was awesome and made our day and stay exceptional. April, the banquet manager, could use some guidance and work on how to run things. She was very poor at organization and did not return calls. The venue and space itself was beautiful and perfect! Our families stayed in the hotels and it was a great place to get together and hang out as a family.
The space is beautiful. The food was great! Drinks were overpriced, but lots of places downtown you could go and get drinks! Great Location. It was amazing!!
When planning our wedding in Yankton, SD we were deciding between the Riverfront and Minerva's (what we chose). The Riverfront was beautiful. The downsides were the wedding coordinator was very flighty and hard to work with. There was construction going on upstairs and she took us up to the construction and walked us around the site of the new hotel rooms while guys were working with hard hats on. It felt a little weird and unsafe to me. The price was just not comparable to what you get at Minerva's. I have also heard comments about the wedding coordinator never having things set up on time or having the food prepared and ready to go.
This venue decorates and does everything for you! The staff was a little unorganized..just a few errors in communication but everything was done according to plan and looked great. It is located in an old part of downtown and the building has tons of charm. Perfect place!
