e hotel rooms, made for great photos, server and bartender staff were great, my guests were happy Cons: A lack of communication between hotel & event staff, only 1 person to person meeting for wedding, phone calls not returned, everything was handled by email which lead to misunderstandings

ays got back to me promptly and checked in with me periodically to make sure we were on the same page with food, decor, and other vendors. We had a transportation issue the day of and the staff was very understanding of our delays. I would recommend this venue for any event you might be hosting!

ho made sure my husband and I had appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour and the reception. Many guests commented on the high quality of the food. The outdoor area for our ceremony was lovely! The staff was very hands-on to ensure our day flowed smoothly.

e as "seagulls" twice while she was setting up the dessert table! Unlike a seagull, I was standing a respectful distance away, admiring her work. I didn't especially want dessert after having been fed so well all afternoon. But even if I had, the staff member's attitude was out of line with that of our generous wedding hosts. If the staff didn't want guests mingling in the area where they were setting up dessert, they could have structured the space or timing differently...or just asked us nicely to move! So, if you're considering this venue, you might want to have a conversation about professionalism.

Val & Yassim are amazing. My day of wedding bridal attendant and greeter Charlean & Tina was great. They helped my anxiety go down and everything was so smooth the day of. The staff brought my vision to life I just wanted simple but elegant. The food and drinks was amazing everyone enjoyed it. Thank you Chef Michael for making everything so delicious. I definitely recommend everyone have there wedding here it’s worth every penny we spent.

y flowed throughout the night from indoor ceremony in part of the ballroom, cocktail hour right outside the ceremony space, and then back into the ballroom for the reception. The food during cocktail hour was amazing. The appetizers just kept coming and the stations were beautifully set. Dinner was served hot for every guest and the sundae bar was the biggest hit of the night. The bar and wait staff were very courteous. Val, Yassmin, and Kelli made sure everything was taken care of so we could enjoy our special day. Our family can’t wait until the next event we can go to at Riverfront Events.

They also allowed us to do a margarita machine for our signature drink! Multiple guests came up to us and told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had ! The venue is also attached to the beautiful hyatt! The hotel and staff also take this venue to the next level every single employee rolled out the red carpet for myself and the guests that traveled to come to our wedding and don’t get me started on the huge bridal suite that was stocked with my favorite drinks and snacks! If you’re thinking of booking this venue I truly can’t express into words how much I recommend it just ask my husband and I or any one of our guests!

We have always heard from people that got married that they didnt get to eat or drink anything during their wedding, but the team made sure we could enjoy the amazing food that we choose. The decorations and set up exceeded our expectations. They made the entire process much less stressful

It was everything I dreamed my wedding would be. I have food allergies and Yassmin worked closely with the chef to make sure there would be dishes that I could have, which I so greatly appreciated. Yassmin and Tori were an absolute PLEASURE to work with. They were so accommodating and I knew I could trust them completely with handling everything on our special day. I had many special little requests and they made it all happen while working with the other vendors, including the florist, DJ, and my day of coordinator. We had our ceremony indoors and it was incredible how quickly they turned the space around and had it ready for the reception. I could go on and on!!!!! Even on the day of the event she was very helpful during the set up process. Aside from this venue being very beautiful Abby definitely made the experience worthwhile for me and my couple.

to work with. They really will do anything and everything to make sure the day goes so smooth. I hadn't met Kelsey until the day before the wedding, and this girl made me feel home. Due to COVID, I couldn't have much family come, but she and the team made our day extraordinary and full of joy. They're flexible, and willing to make your dream wedding happen. Oh and the chef- Mike, what a great guy! My husband really wanted banana pudding since he was from the South, and man- Mike whipped up this excellent pudding that all our guests loved. Hors oeuvres was exceptional. I received nothing but great comments from my guests who attended the wedding. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent and service is amazing. I am so glad i ran into them. You will not be disappointed! Sarah is wonderful to work with, and will most certainly help you stay on top of everything with your event. I look forward to using their services in the future.

extremely grateful to the entire staff who made our day one to remember. The location is top notch with so many views and picture-perfect locations for the entire bridal party and guests. Having the ballroom be attached to the Hyatt Hotel is essential –especially if you have many people coming from out of town and looking to take advantage of the open bar. Our guests had a short walk to the elevators to retire for the evening! The food is hands down the best food in the area! We had never eaten at the Big Fish Grill and when we went to our food tasting, both my husband and I felt like the wedding stepped up several notches because the food was insanely good! We got SO many compliments on how incredible the food was. The wedding package itself is well designed and ideal for all wedding types. Executive Chef Mike Sheridan worked with us on food allergies as well as vegan/vegetarian options to accommodate our large party. He does phenomenal work!! Large or small weddings, celebrations, or formal corporate events of any kind will fair extremely well at the Hyatt Place- Wilmington Riverfront! Special thanks to Sarah Timmons who coordinated all of the wedding efforts! Anything we needed, she made it happen with a fantastic attitude and smile.
