This by far was thee best experience we’ve had! We had our reception at Riverfront Events and the team was beyond helpful, catering to our needs as well as our guests! We really do recommend this place. It’s a beautiful venue, with great views and great food! I’m still overjoyed about our experience! If I could rate this 10 stars I would!

Amazing waterfront venue. From start to finish they made the planning of our wedding a breeze. The staff is so nice, sweet, and extremely helpful. My event manager and coordinator Val & Yassim are amazing. My day of wedding bridal attendant and greeter Charlean & Tina was great. They helped my anxiety go down and everything was so smooth the day of. The staff brought my vision to life I just wanted simple but elegant. The food and drinks was amazing everyone enjoyed it. Thank you Chef Michael for making everything so delicious. I definitely recommend everyone have there wedding here it’s worth every penny we spent.

From start to finish working with the team at Riverfront Events was absolutely flawless. We booked in late 2021 for our 2023 wedding; Yassmin and her amazing team were with us every step of the way. The easiest part was the actual event. As the bride I worried about absolutely nothing. They handled everything so well and my guests and family were blown away. Thank you again for your phenomenal work, we will be recommending Riverfront to everyone!

We cannot recommend Riverfront Events highly enough. All of our guests continue to comment it was by far the best wedding they’ve ever attended. They loved how everything seamlessly flowed throughout the night from indoor ceremony in part of the ballroom, cocktail hour right outside the ceremony space, and then back into the ballroom for the reception. The food during cocktail hour was amazing. The appetizers just kept coming and the stations were beautifully set. Dinner was served hot for every guest and the sundae bar was the biggest hit of the night. The bar and wait staff were very courteous. Val, Yassmin, and Kelli made sure everything was taken care of so we could enjoy our special day. Our family can’t wait until the next event we can go to at Riverfront Events.

They seemed insensitive at times. We felt rushed after the wedding. The weather was not favorable and we needed to take inside photos. We went back to the ballroom to take pictures and Yassmin was very rude to the wedding party and photographer. There were inconsistencies with submitting the invoice, errors with payment notification. I hadca meeting with Tori along with my planner discussing all entities of my reception. We find our later Tori no longer worked there and requests were not submitted in my contract, such as dinner roles etc. The day of the wedding my planner informs the Sundae bar was not in the contract! At the last minute they added it and charged "half price." My guests complained the food was cold, one table states they returned their food for hotter food. My potatoes were not soft enough-not cooked thoroughly. My sweetheart table flower was to be locked in the coat closet for pick up later. We went back....gone! $250 Loss! I will never use them again. Although my wedding and reception was beautiful. Unprofessional inconsistent service.

This venue was amazing. They handled everything and even were able to seamlessly adapt to last minute storms to bring our event inside. We could not have asked for a better venue or a nicer staff. Yassmin, Austin, Tina, and Val were with us every step of the way on our wedding day, taking care of everything. And Chef Mike made food that people could not stop talking about. We have always heard from people that got married that they didnt get to eat or drink anything during their wedding, but the team made sure we could enjoy the amazing food that we choose. The decorations and set up exceeded our expectations. They made the entire process much less stressful

Everyone at Riverfront Events was amazing! They were helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions. They kept me updated on things right up to the day of the wedding. Everyone at the wedding loved all the food.

I had my wedding at Riverfront Events on 11/6/21. Everything was AMAZING!!!!! Myself and all the guests were so impressed. The cocktails were incredible - we actually ran the bar dry of tequila because the guests couldn't get enough of the spicy Margarita we chose for one of our specialty cocktails!!!! From the delicious food, to the beautiful space, to the amazing staff. It was everything I dreamed my wedding would be. I have food allergies and Yassmin worked closely with the chef to make sure there would be dishes that I could have, which I so greatly appreciated. Yassmin and Tori were an absolute PLEASURE to work with. They were so accommodating and I knew I could trust them completely with handling everything on our special day. I had many special little requests and they made it all happen while working with the other vendors, including the florist, DJ, and my day of coordinator. We had our ceremony indoors and it was incredible how quickly they turned the space around and had it ready for the reception. I could go on and on!!!!! If you are looking for a place to hold a special event, Riverfront events is it! Thank you again Yassmin, Tori, and all the staff at Riverfront events! You guys are theeee best! xoxoxo

We had the best day working with Yassmin, Tori, Abby and the team at Riverfront Events for our wedding in Wilmington, DE on 10/1/21. They were absolutely fantastic and on top of everything throughout the whole day and during the planning process. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue, food, and service. Thank you for being a part of our big day! We'll be back one day to have some of those bacon-wrapped scallops that everyone was raving about! Love, K&B

The Riverfront is an amazing venue with GOOD food(very important!)I had the opportunity to work with Abby at this venue and from the first day of consultation to the day off, she had all the answers I needed for my event. Abby would check in and follow up with information every time and she did it with a smile. Even on the day of the event she was very helpful during the set up process. Aside from this venue being very beautiful Abby definitely made the experience worthwhile for me and my couple.

My wedding day was seamless. From start to finish the night was effortless. Sarah and Abby and Kelsey are a fantastic team. Consistent communication throughout the planning process. The day was perfect, I would do it all over again if I could.

I couldn't thank Riverfront Events and their phenomenal team enough for making my wedding day happen in such a short span of time. Sarah, Abigail and Kelsey were such a great team to work with. They really will do anything and everything to make sure the day goes so smooth. I hadn't met Kelsey until the day before the wedding, and this girl made me feel home. Due to COVID, I couldn't have much family come, but she and the team made our day extraordinary and full of joy. They're flexible, and willing to make your dream wedding happen. Oh and the chef- Mike, what a great guy! My husband really wanted banana pudding since he was from the South, and man- Mike whipped up this excellent pudding that all our guests loved. Hors oeuvres was exceptional. I received nothing but great comments from my guests who attended the wedding. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent and service is amazing. I am so glad i ran into them. You will not be disappointed! Sarah is wonderful to work with, and will most certainly help you stay on top of everything with your event. I look forward to using their services in the future.

Wilmington -- Riverfront Events is a fantastic place to celebrate your wedding! This is a one-stop-shop for a memorable wedding package for any time of year. My husband and I feel extremely grateful to the entire staff who made our day one to remember. The location is top notch with so many views and picture-perfect locations for the entire bridal party and guests. Having the ballroom be attached to the Hyatt Hotel is essential –especially if you have many people coming from out of town and looking to take advantage of the open bar. Our guests had a short walk to the elevators to retire for the evening! The food is hands down the best food in the area! We had never eaten at the Big Fish Grill and when we went to our food tasting, both my husband and I felt like the wedding stepped up several notches because the food was insanely good! We got SO many compliments on how incredible the food was. The wedding package itself is well designed and ideal for all wedding types. Executive Chef Mike Sheridan worked with us on food allergies as well as vegan/vegetarian options to accommodate our large party. He does phenomenal work!! Large or small weddings, celebrations, or formal corporate events of any kind will fair extremely well at the Hyatt Place- Wilmington Riverfront! Special thanks to Sarah Timmons who coordinated all of the wedding efforts! Anything we needed, she made it happen with a fantastic attitude and smile.
