Peggy and her team at Riverhead Flower Shop did an amazing job for our wedding in Aug 2021! We had the pleasure of using Riverhead Florist in Aug 2020 for our small wedding ceremony and were so amazed by the bouquets and centerpieces that we had no doubt that we wanted to use them again for our wedding reception. Our centerpieces were a mix of high/low with sunflowers, white roses and eucalyptus and were STUNNING! All of the flower arrangements were exactly what I asked for and couldn't have been happier with my decision. Peggy was also super easy to work with and super friendly. Plus, Peggy is able to work within your price range and her prices were very reasonable without compromising quality. Hands down recommend Riverhead flower shop for your wedding!

We were over the moon thrilled working with the owner Peggy. She worked within our budget and designed the most gorgeous ceremony flowers, venue centerpieces, Bouquets, boutonnières, corsages at 2 separate locations.!!! Her prices are reasonable and she was great at helping us choose floral that was seasonal and within our theme. She rounded up a team to bring our dream vision to a reality. She even stepped up to fill in any of the things we forgot. I wholeheartedly recommend her small shop. Worth every penny!

Peggy was a dream to work with. Through a postponement and a few changes in the size of the wedding party, number of tables, etc, she was incredibly flexible and left me feeling at ease on my big day. Everything arrived on time and the flowers looked and smelled beautiful. Also pretty affordable. Very happy with my experience!

Riverhead Flower Shop was amazing! We knew we wanted to work with Peggy for our wedding the day we met her; I described the type of bouquet arrangement I wanted, and within minutes she emerged from the back of the shop with the perfect arrangement. From decorating our ceremony arch to adding fresh blooms to our wedding cake, Peggy made all of our details that much more beautiful and memorable. The dinner tables all looked incredible, especially our head farm table, which Peggy decorated with a leafy runner from end to end. Peggy truly saved the day for us when we realized we had forgotten one of our corsages, and she delivered it to the venue. Thanks to Peggy, we didn’t miss a beat. We couldn’t recommend Peggy and Riverhead Flower Shop enough!!!

The Riverhead Flower shop provided the flowers for my daughters wedding in Shelter Island this past weekend and I must say, they were the most beautiful bouquets, table arrangements and church flowers I have every seen. I would give Peggy and the staff of Riverhead Flower Shop 10 stars if I could. I walked in for my consult with the items i wanted to use in my centerpieces, but not having a clue what I wanted to do with them. Peggy literally ran around the shop, pulling different flowers and put the most beautiful centerpieces, bouquet I have ever seen. I left my consult with such peace of mind, knowing everything was going to be absolutely perfect. She was such a pleasure to work with, and as I expected, everything was more than perfect the wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough.

We got married on Oct 12...planning for the wedding began 2 months prior. I was looking for a florist that could hit the ground running (quite literally lol)...really take my ideas and make them a reality in a short amount of time. Peggy and the team at Riverhead Flower Shop were absolutely AMAZING! Peggy was not only extremely knowledgeable about how many different types of flowers compliment each other, but she offered great input on color, design and arrangement along with creativity and enthusiasm. When I arrived at the venue, I was overwhelmed with how beautiful it was, how the flowers really pulled the entire room together. She truly made everything I imaged come to life. My husband and I got married 5/11/2019 (the day before Mothers day nonetheless) . We are so grateful we hired Peggy at Riverhead Florist to provide Flowers on our special day. The quality of the flowers were absolutely beautiful and healthy- and she delivered them exactly how we imagined. As a designer, I had an exact vision, and Riverhead Florist exceeded all expectations. They are truly designers and have such a sense of detail. Peggy was so easy to work with and her communication was outstanding. Everything was truly perfect. HIGHLY recommend ! :-)

The flower arrangements and bouquets came out beautifully and they were everything I wanted! Peggy was very helpful during consultations and each time she made up sample bouquets and arrangements so we could see what they would look like and make changes. She was also able to incorporate special items into my bridal bouquet including heirloom earrings and photo charms.

Riverhead Flower Shop was the perfect choice for our wedding! I went in there with a few pictures and explained my vision, and Peggy pulled together a bouquet right then and there! My MOH and I were amazed. Peggy was amazing and answered any questions I had throughout the entire process. Peggy is the best! She is really wonderful to work with. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and show me what she what she was thinking. She was always respectful of my budget and never made me feel pressured to go beyond that. The arrangements were so beautiful and the ones I brought home lasted almost 2 weeks after the wedding. The Riverhead Flower Shop is also so cute inside, it was one of the highlights of planning our wedding!

Peggy at Riverhead Flower Shop was an absolute pleasure to work with! I know nothing about flowers, I can name about 5 types, and other flower shops left me feeling foolish for not knowing exactly what I was asking for - but not here. I showed her a few Pinterest photos of bouquets that I liked, and she quickly understood the look I was going for and even went into the back to mock up a sample bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets for me. I explained my idea for centerpieces to her as well and she gave us some great suggestions on how to make them look even better. The day of our wedding all of our bouquets and boutonnieres arrived on time and looked more beautiful than I could have imagined! I would highly recommend Peggy and Riverhead Flower Shop!

We got married back in June at a vineyard. I had a very specific picture in my head as too what I wanted our day to “look like”. Peggy brought my visions to life! She had some great ideas to keep within my budget but still make everything look full and beautiful. I had pinned a bouquet that I fell in love with and she just about replicated it and it was gorgeous! The trellis she designed for our ceremony looks absolutely beautiful in our pictures. Peggy had never worked with this vineyard so she made a trip out there and came back with some more suggestions that I never would have thought of and they were they perfect! To Peggy and your team, thank you for bringing my vision to life! We had a perfect day :)

Going into my florist interviews I had a very clear vision as to what I wanted for the ceremony and the reception. In almost all of the interviews it didn't seem like the florist understood that vision. The only exception was Peggy--she went as far as to go in the back of the shop and make a mock bridal bouquet and it was perfect. She totally understood what I wanted and had the utmost confidence that she could bring it to life. On the big day, I had a ceremony arch, bouquets/boutonnieres for the bridal party/family, and tall centerpieces for the reception made by Riverhead Flower Shop. Everything came out beautiful!! I received several compliments from people about just how stunning everything turned out and overall I was very happy. There are only two minor complaints that I have. The first is that since Peggy primarily does the bookings for weddings, so if she isn't in the shop you have to rely on either email or another person to relay the message to her. This isn't always done in timely manner as I had to make a change a few months prior to the ceremony and it took weeks to get a hold of Peggy after numerous calls and emails. It all worked out, all is well that ends well, but I can see where this could be problematic. My second minor complaint is that I had given a picture of what I wanted in the bridal bouquet and the centerpieces with the instruction to add ivy as a draping effect. This was because my parents had ivy in their wedding and it was a way to incorporate a piece of them in my ceremony as well. When I met with Peggy she said that wouldn't be a problem and had even included ivy in the mock bridal bouquet. On the big day, the bouquets and centerpieces were exactly like the pictures...meaning there was no ivy. It was a small thing--literally the only person to notice it was me, but it was a little disappointing. Overall they did a great job and were a huge contributing factor to my gorgeous wedding. The only reason why they aren't getting 5 stars is due to my minor complaints.

I would definitely recommend the Riverhead Flower Shop. Peggy was extremely easy to work with and very helpful when I wasn't really sure what I wanted. Our venue was Martha Clara Vineyard, and Peggy made the suggestion that I should go with taller centerpeices to fill the room with such high ceilings. She was 100% right !! When I expressed that cost was a concern she was very flexible in helping me choose cost effective flowers while still getting the wow factor I had wanted. We loved working with great people during our wedding and thats exactly what you will get at RFS !!

Going with Riverhead Flower Shop for our big day was the best decision! Working with Peggy was so nice and easy. She understood everything I wanted and made it happen. I wanted a mix of purple flowers. I didn’t want there to be a lot of greenery and I wanted all of the flowers to be very dense and colorful. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful. Everyone was blown away. And the centerpieces were exactly like the photo I showed her of what I wanted. My husband built an arch out of driftwood, and although it was really nice, it needed some help. They decorated the arch with a sheet and hanging orchids and arrangements at the corners and it was the most picturesque part of the whole wedding. Everyone loved it so much. The flowers were extremely important to me and I’m so glad Peggy was the one to do them!!

I could have not chosen a better florist. Peggy was so easyjennifer to work with, her ideas were creative and fit my venue perfectly. People could not stop talking about how beautiful it all looked from the ceremony outside to the reception area she thought of everything . Peggy and her team were absolutely amazing! We booked with Peggy two years before our wedding. Peggy was so understanding and helpful when we decided to make changes a year later. She was so hands on! My husband and I could not have asked for better service. She made the most beautiful headpiece for me, as well as all the other flower arrangements we needed. Peggy and Danielle turned our wedding into a floral delight! My cascade bouquet of orange lilies and purple dendrobium was like something out of a dream! The floral spray on the arbor was incredible! It was the perfect accent to our ceremony! The little bouquets in mason jars at the start of our aisle were the perfect touch and matched the spray beautifully! Working with Peggy was amazing! I'd reached out to her months before the wedding after meeting her at an event at my venue (which was down the street from her shop). She worked with me to get beautiful, in season flowers and though we planned ahead of time, when I went in to actually see what was available two weeks before the date, she made it a really simple and fun process. The bouquets I ended up with were amazing, I don't know if I'd even envisioned them to be that beautiful. We also got corsages and boutineers and those were also beautiful- perfect for our group. Cost was also really impressive! Can't say enough great things about this shop and its service.

Peggy initially worked with me over the phone and then when we met in person she had already created the look of exactly what I was looking for within our budget. She made professional recommendations that worked! She takes credit cards as well which is very convenient in a world where most vendors will only accept cash. Wonderful experience!!

With our do-it yourself barn wedding we were planning on going super simple and just picking up flowers at a farmers market but as we got closer (and I mean way closer) we decided some professional flowers would be better. Less than two weeks before the wedding, we contacted the Riverhead Flower shop and Peggy saved the day!! Delivering perfect sunflowers the day before for our simple table settings as well as creating beautiful bouquets of wildflowers for myself and the bridesmaids and sunflower boutonnieres for the guys. All of this working with our budget. The wildflowers were her suggestions and it looked GREAT!

Meeting with florists was one of the most stressful things for us because we had no idea what we wanted. A lot of the florists seemed to expect that we would tell them what to do and they would execute. In my opinion, part of the package you're paying for should include the florist's creativity. Peggy was a real artist. We gave her ideas, and she pulled them together to create the masterpieces that were my bouquets and centerpieces. She was honest when she thought something wouldn't work or might be out of season, and gave us ideas for alternatives. The quality was high - our flowers were alive and well several days after the wedding. When she otherwise would have been closed, she opened her shop so we could come in and see her mock-up of the centerpieces; and when the weather forecast called for 80s and humid, she delivered the bouquets in water so they wouldn't wilt. She was fun to work with, created beautiful pieces for us and had very reasonable prices!

This florist is absolutely amazing! Peggy was a joy to work with, she ran with simple ideas and showed me bouquets even though I stopped in without an appointment. I could not have been happier with the flowers and was so happy to work with this venue. I will be using them for everything I need from now on!
