The banquet staff was also extremely attentive the entire night and made sure the night went on without a hitch. ere we wanted to get married. Throughout those two years, Desiree was nothing but patient, helpful, understanding, and the biggest resource for us. We couldn't have imagined our day without her. From multiple calls, texts, emails and changes in plans, she eased our anxieties and truly made us feel like we were her number one priority. Not only Desiree, but the entire staff at Rivers were expectational. Starting with the food tasting; we met the chef and they accommodated guests' dietary restrictions with ease. Then meeting the pastry chef and designing our cake exactly to our vision from filling, icing, batter and design. Then they were extremely patient with us (me taking WAY too long to pick the uplighting colors) and they were happy to help. On our wedding day, the entire staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. One of my family members was in the hospital and unable to attend, so we brought a tripod and the staff even set it up for us so she could FaceTime and be there with us. They even sent us home with her meal and cake. The care that was put into even the smallest details was apparent. The cookie table and decor was set up beautifully and the service from the staff and bartenders was 10/10. Clark was especially helpful during our reception as he ensured us and our guests had an amazing experience. He checked in throughout the night with not only us but our family members to make sure everything was going smoothly. Even The Landing Hotel was accommodating in anything we needed. For example, in the morning getting ready, we needed an additional light and someone came right up and set it up for us. When you think about your wedding day you want it to be perfect. The Rivers Casino went above and beyond to make sure ours was and exceeded all expectations. Our guests raved about the food, cake, service, and how much fun the staff was. Many even joked that we need to throw a party there every 5 years. If we could do it again, we would pick the Rivers every single time. I could go on and on. There are not enough words to say how grateful and thankful we are that our day truly was perfect.

She handled so many details behind the scenes—coordinating with our other vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring the entire day flowed effortlessly. We truly felt supported every step of the way. Not to mention, her cookie table set up skills, amazing! The venue itself was beautiful, and our guests are still raving about the atmosphere, the food, and the cake. Everything exceeded our expectations. After touring several venues and feeling overwhelmed by the outrageous costs in today’s wedding industry, the Rivers stood out immediately. The value is unmatched. What’s included in their packages—and the quality of every single element—simply can’t be beat. It was, without question, the best “bang for your buck” we found anywhere. The cost of weddings today, the entire industry is out of control, so at least with the River’s so much was included. nd I toured the ballrooms and met our coordinator-to-be, I was sold. We worked with Desiree, who is quite literally the sweetest person of all time. I left that day thinking that even if I hadn’t loved the venue (which I absolutely did), I needed her to be our coordinator. The entire planning process was almost too easy. The packages were clear, easy to understand, and truly inclusive, which was so important to me. I wanted a venue that felt like a true “one-stop shop,” and Rivers Casino delivered. There was no need to coordinate multiple vendors—lighting, linens, dinnerware, and so much more were already included. The dinner packages even included alcohol with multiple bar tiers that were more than reasonably priced. Even the cake was included—we got to meet with the pastry chef and design it ourselves! The venue itself is a beautiful blank canvas that allows you to get really creative with décor, while still feeling polished and elevated on its own. With just a bit of DIY décor, the space was easily transformed. Desiree and her team asked for inspiration photos about a week prior and handled both setup and teardown. The next morning, everything was packed and ready for us, and the staff even helped load everything into our cars. It truly could not have been easier. The hotel accommodations were just as seamless. We received a great room block rate, and our out-of-town guests couldn’t stop raving about their stay. The location is incredibly convenient, with so many dining and entertainment options nearby—our guests had everything they needed for a full, fun weekend without having to travel far.

ed into it unsure, but we were absolutely blown away by everything the more we learned! We primarily worked with Michelle who was an absolute delight! She was highly communicative, extraordinarily helpful, and her, and the entire Rivers, team was willing to cater to whatever we needed, which was truly appreciated and took away a lot of the nerves an anxiety from planning a wedding. The Rivers was very inclusive, including the basics, dinner, cake, cookie table set up, and more! They also have some preferred vendors, but no requirement to use any, which we also appreciated when we were evaluating additional vendors. Our big way went off without a hitch thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the entire staff. Pulling off events, especially large scale ones, is no easy feat and this team really knows how to execute, and provide top notch service to a large crowd. Our guests were very impressed with everyone’s kindness, and each bar tenders ability to remembers just about everyone’s drink order, and we continue to get great reviews on the food, cake, and how beautiful our cookie table was set up weeks later! My husband and I really had the best experience and if we had to do it over again we’d stick with The Rivers. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding so special!

We had so many compliments from our guests on the professionalism/service provided by staff, the delicious food, and the beautiful space. This is a nearly “all inclusive” venue that still allows for plenty of customization to fit your vision. The best part was on the day of we did absolutely nothing - Desiree and the other staff decorated, staged the room, and even set up the cookie table! We also had a great experience working with the chefs and catering staff who were able to accommodate several food allergies and provide delicious alternatives for appetizers, dinners, and desserts. She is the best of the best and such a kind and positive person to work with. Every email, meeting, or phone call with her left us feeling more and more excited for our wedding day. We gave her our vision and she made it even better than imagined. She was professional, detail oriented, timely, and all around fun to work with! We got to meet the rest of the team during our taste testing night and that was so much fun! Our cake was part of our package and the design team really personalized what we wanted and made it incredible. For the price that you pay, truly everything is included! The only upgrade we did was to rent chairs to match our decor and the total price still beat other venues by a lot. The food was absolutely incredible, leaving even the pickiest of our guests happy and still talking about how good the food and drinks were all night. Everything about our wedding was more than we hoped for. Our guests still talk about the service they received during cocktail hour and the reception. The casino added such a fun element too. Our guests were entertained and had a fun time after the wedding ended. Parking was easy and the hotel also made it a fun and stress free weekend for our guests to have everything in one location. Even if there are multiple events in casino, you would never know because of the professionalism and size of the venue. Overall, we are so pleased with our experience and cannot recommend this venue enough to everyone! It came highly recommended by our photographer and all of our other vendors. The food was delicious and hot, the bar never had a line, the bartenders were incredibly friendly and the staff coordinated with our vendors every step of the way. Our coordinator, Desiree went above and beyond our expectations. She was incredibly responsive, offered great suggestions, and made sure that the day went off without a hitch. We have had several people tell us that our wedding was the best that they have ever been to and the Rivers staff is truly to thank for that! The Rivers ballroom is gorgeous and does not need many decorations because of its natural beauty. Many great locations for photos including the ballroom with floor to ceiling windows, balcony, and outside along the river. They not only made us feel so special, but took great care of our wedding party as well with a separate room for our things off the ballroom stocked with beverages and appetizers from cocktail hour. From day 1 she answered every single question we had, made accommodations for things and was truly so excited for us. Desiree was my coordinator, and she went above and beyond to make sure our day was flawless. She was incredibly responsive to every email and made the planning process feel seamless. On the day of, the ballroom was decorated more beautifully than I ever could’ve imagined. Desiree and her team truly brought my vision to life. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and I couldn’t agree more. The attached hotel made it convenient for everyone, free parking was a huge plus, and with the casino open 24/7, the celebration didn’t have to end. ommunication and any request I had- they made happen. Every outlandish bridal question (every bride has) was answered and rarely did I hear “no” it was always- “we will get it done”. And did they ever. I did all of my own florals and centerpieces myself and they weren’t simplistic in nature so I was nervous. Desiree my wedding coordinator-who I’m convinced is an actual angel- always made me feel so calm through out the whole planning process. When I have a vision I have a hard time of giving up control. Her and her team were so receptive and precise and executed the ballroom decor exactly how I imagined -but better. They were sure to include my unique touch in every corner of the room. And they did everything from start to finish. I literally just dropped it everything off. The actual wedding day (weekend) was nothing short of a storybook and the only thing I had to focus on was getting married- THEY MADE SURE I WASN'T LIFTING A FINGER. We had guests in from 13 states and they raved about the venue, the staff, the food and impeccable hotel. It was such a fun atmosphere! Even though we live in the city, we felt like we were on vacation the whole weekend. The bridal get ready room was a hit too. When I asked about purchasing my suite for an extra night - it was comped for me…a long time ago. Not after we were all paid up like a lot of vendors do. I mean that alone tells you the integrity of this venue and staff. I seriously could go on and on but I’ll leave it at this: I have heard so many people who are married say “elope-don’t bother with a wedding” or “yeah, my wedding was great but I would never do it again” My belief is the opposite: I would do it again every year moving forward if I could and that’s only because of Desiree, Quinn, Michelle, Bernice, Ashley and the rest of the team at Rivers Casino. The people who wouldn’t do it again- didn’t have the team/venue and accommodations I was blessed to have. Thank you everyone!

All of our guests complimented how convenient everything was to get to/access and how beautiful the view was from Bridges Ballroom (our reception room). They absolutely loved that they could walk back to the hotel room and go downstairs to keep the party going. For those not staying overnight, they complimented the FREE parking, which is not common for a city venue. Our guests also complimented the food & cake, which is phenomenal. One guest even said it was the best food she's ever had at a wedding! The staff was amazing and they also provide you with a coordinator. Our coordinator was Desiree and she was absolutely fantastic. The day-of was SEAMLESS thanks to Desiree & staff. Rivers was the first and only venue we looked at and we are SO SO happy we jumped on it as soon as possible.

From the pastry chefs who took our vision for our cake and made it better than we could have even imagined, to the person who put together the most beautiful cookie table display to all the servers, bartenders, and security staff. We didn't meet a single person who wasn't genuinely excited for us. It was a phenomenal and impeccably-run day (if there were snafus, we didn't see them or hear about any). Our wedding coordinator, Desiree, showed us so much care and genuine excitement for us. She made sure we had a special plate of non-contaminated gluten free cookies as well as our signature drinks at our sweetheart table. Everyone raved that it was one of the best weddings they had been to, and that is absolutely a testament to the hard work of everyone at the Rivers Casino. elegant feel with a modern twist, and unique vibe—it gave us everything we were looking for. With 240 guests in attendance, we needed a space that could comfortably fit everyone and was reasonably priced. Included in the Gold Package (we booked in October 2023 and our wedding was in March 2025) were 3 types of hors d'oeuvres, a 3-course meal (starter salad; starch, vegetable, and 2 different types of meat per plate; and cake), champagne toast, 4 hour open bar, and 3 different types of cake of our choosing. In addition to the food provided by Rivers, they also managed the complete setup and tear down of our 4,000 cookie table! We loved that all the major costs were up front with no surprises. From a lodging and transportation perspective, our package included a standard room (Friday and Saturday night), a bridal suite (Friday and Saturday night), and a bridal getting ready room (Saturday morning) which had it's own bathroom, studio chairs, backlit mirrors, countertop for food, and plenty of lounge space. We also had a lot of out of town guests traveling in for our wedding so it was such a HUGE factor that The Landing Hotel was directly attached to the casino. Nathan and his hotel team were able to offer our guests a very competitive discount for through a room block and helped add rooms when we continuously ran out. They even drop off welcome bags to guest rooms (for a fee) if you want! While the casino has free parking for everyone, The Landing Hotel offers free valet parking for guests staying there, as well. Our ceremony was at Heinz Chapel, so we provided guest shuttles by Elite Transportation and bridal party transportation by Molly's Trolleys which Rivers Casino coordinated pickups and drop-offs seamlessly. Everything else aside, what really made the experience exceptional was working with Desiree, our complimentary wedding day coordinator. She was truly a godsend. Throughout the planning process, Desiree answered every single one of our silly and/or redundant questions efficiently and effectively. Day of, Desiree handled everything with professionalism, calm, and kindness, and made what could have been a stressful day feel effortless. She coordinated every detail from managing the setup with both her staff and our vendors (i.e. florals, DJ, guest book, table numbers, etc.), coordinating the timeline with the DJ, and helping guide our wedding party and guests throughout the day. I even forgot my wedding shoes in the bridal party room and she was able to safeguard them until I was able to pick them up after our honeymoon. Overall, Desiree and the entire staff at Rivers Casino went above and beyond to make our day everything we dreamed it would be. If you're considering this venue—do it. You will be in excellent hands.

Clark was also an absolutely amazing manager to have around in the reception space to make sure our big day went smoothly!! Everything was done so beautifully, and I wouldn't have had my wedding day any other way. Absolutely choose Rivers! The casino gave us everything we needed. The ceremony space, cocktail space, and reception space all being in the same area was very convenient for all guests. The attached Landing Hotel was an added bonus to making the day simple and easy to navigate around. We received a complimentary room block for the hotel, as well as for us bride and groom suites (plus our get ready rooms!). The food is absolutely phenomenal here! The food tasting is an experience you definitely want to come hungry for. They make your cake too!!! They bring out so many options, and you get to try literally everything. 100/10 experience for us!

They listened to our vision and executed it flawlessly, ensuring every detail was perfect. Our main contact Desiree was a literal walking angel, she was an absolute blast, kept us on track, and we know went WELL above and beyond to make our day what it was (crying a little writing this because I do not even know how to thank her enough - no words just amazing). & reception here and it was everything we could’ve dreamed for & more. Our venue cooridinator, Desiree, could not have been more helpful throughout this process. She took every stress we had and made the entire planning process such an easy & fun experience. We had such a smooth sailing day because of her! The Rivers staff was so kind & helpful from security to wait staff. The food is absolutely immaculate, all the guests were so impressed. The pastry team that made our cake exceed our expectations. I had shown them a Pinterest inspiration picture and they went above & beyond our vision. THE COOKIE TABLE…. I could use the rest of this character limit to go on about the cookie table they set up for us. They provided some decor to make it look like those cookies were basically living in the city of Pittsburgh & boy, was it STUNNING. Also in regards to the reception space, ask about the confetti canon if you want to level up your experience. It rocks. The areas surrounding the rivers & the landing hotel make for beautiful photos. They have spaces both inside & out that are great even if it rains. Once you are in the ballroom space you forget you are even at the casino. The casino and landing hotel bar made for a great after party location post-reception. I cannot recommend this venue enough, especially the venue coordinator!!! You will not regret it!

She did such a great job with our wedding. She was absolutely amazing and made everything run very smoothly. She even brought my 3 y/o son Reese cups after he finished his job during the ceremony (walking me down the aisle). She made sure we had everything and if we needed something, she got it! Desiree has such a calming presence which makes everyone around her (including me) calm and reassured that everything will run smoothly. They secretly added small special touches that made our day even better (such as giving my dad a small personal pie instead of cake because he doesn't like cake and allowing me at add Blue Moon to the drinks list). Our guests RAVED about the food, cake, and late night snack. Some say it was the best cake they ever had. Rivers is truly a one stop shop. They have different packages to meet your needs. Ours included cocktail hour with appetizers, a duo plate dinner (filet and salmon), the cake, the late night snack, our hotel rooms plus our parents hotel rooms, set up and take down, 6 hours of premium spirits, excellent security and so much more. It's the perfect place for a classy/romantic "Pittsburgh" vibe venue because it's very nice inside, yet it over looks the rivers with nice open windows and a balcony. They really dote all over the bride and groom all night long and make you feel so special. You cannot go wrong with this venue!!

ll so now there are 3 options. We loved Cassandra from the start who "shot it straight" and we absolutely loved that. The package breakdown is very straight forward and no hidden fees. Throughout the whole process, everyone we dealt with was helpful, nice and professional. The tasting was amazing and basically will accommodate anything (especially allergies, everyone gets something in replace for an allergy). The cake and food carried over into the wedding and everyone was raving about it on the wedding day. We lost our wedding planner about 3 weeks before the wedding but the replacement, Andrea and Al, made sure everything was taken care of and helped put us at ease. We had the PERFECT wedding day. No complaints. Amazing food, amazing cake, amazing decorations/IT, worry free perks, just an overall no regret wedding day for us. Highly recommend. We also utilized the Landings Hotel which made it the perfect, no transportation weekend.

Andrea and Al from Rivers were incredibly helpful every step of the way. They were always willing to address our concerns and make sure every detail turned out just as we’d envisioned. The cookie table, a Pittsburgh staple, was immaculate and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The banquet hall was set up to handle the entire day; ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. And the staff at Rivers pulled it off flawlessly. The food was fantastic, and almost everyone agreed the cake was the best they’d ever had. Special shoutout to Matt on the AV team. As the groom, I planned on performing a couple of songs. Matt worked with the DJ to setup my guitar and keyboard, and I felt like I was playing Madison Square Garden, the sound filling the entire hall. If you’re looking to do a Pittsburgh wedding, and especially if you have a lot of guests coming from out of town, Rivers Casino is ideal. It is the perfect FUN location for both out of town and local guests. We didn’t expect such an amazing coordinator, but that’s what we found with Cassandra. Thanks to Cassandra's expertise and the vast resources available at Rivers Casino, the planning process was smooth and stress-free. Cassandra coordinated with all our vendors, including the DJ, florist, hair and makeup, videographer, and photographer, ensuring that every detail was executed flawlessly. She even worked with us to brainstorm creative ideas and incorporate unique elements into our celebration. We didn’t originally know what we wanted for food or cake but we had the best tasting experience. The chef and pastry chef were wonderful to work with through tastings and planning, and they collaborated with us to curate the perfect menu and dining experience for our guests. Cassandra, everything was flawless! We heard great things about weddings at the Rivers, but never could have imagined how perfect our day truly was. Everything was included: we didn’t need to worry about finding a caterer or baker because they were in house (our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious); they set up all of our decor and tore everything down and had it ready for us to pick up the next day; they set up and kept our cookie table stocked (they even had bridges!) and it was stunning; the wait staff was fantastic. The rooms and the view were gorgeous. Even with all of this, the main reason we chose the Rivers was because of Cassandra. She was our wedding coordinator and was basically like a built in wedding planner. When we toured she answered all of our questions and when it came time to review price, she had everything mapped out including gratuity and tax, which other vendors did not do. She answered every email, text, and phone call promptly and worked with us to create our dream wedding. I wanted everything in one place, hotel, ceremony, and reception and that’s what I was able to get with the casino. The chef was incredible and the food tasting was one of my favorite parts! We got the wedding of our dreams and I could not recommend Cassandra Buncie and the Rivers Casino enough.

Our wedding was on October 29th and had some spooky elements planned and Andrea went above and beyond in decorating our cake plate with spiderweb chocolates which was a nice surprise! We received many comments from friends and family on how good the food and beverages were, as well as the cake. Cassandra was super attentive in answering any questions we had, coordinating with our other vendors, and making sure every single detail was perfect. Having the new hotel on site was a big bonus for us as we had several guests who stayed overnight and the suite included in our package was the perfect size for getting ready the day of. Pricing was about on par for other venues in the area but we felt that Rivers had the most value for what we paid. Overall, we highly recommend Rivers as a venue for weddings or any other event.
