Riverside Ballroom at the Historic Hampton Inn & Suites

We booked the bridal suite and several rooms for a block for our guests. Every one complimented the location, the service, and the comfort of their rooms ALL weekend. Rooms were priced very reasonable, especially since we booked on a busy weekend for the city.

This hotel was in the perfect location right downtown off of the start of Bourbon Street for our guests. A lot of entertainment and things to do in walking distance. The rooms and location were given to us at a great value and essentially we were able to offer everything we wanted to to our guests because of this hotel. Would assuredly recommend for large groups or just a weekend getaway

The Hampton Inn on Carondolet was the perfect choice for our wedding block! Jordan in booking was so easy to work with and friendly. The hotel is well-laid out and perfectly located for our French Quarter wedding. Prices were very reasonable given the time of year. I definitely recommend booking this hotel for your wedding!

We had such a great relationship with Hampton Inn for our weekend. My husband and I reserved both a small block in the French Quarter and a few rooms at the Convention Center location. The staff who showed us around was just amazing and answered all of our questions. The only downfall is that many of our guests couldn't afford the rooms (with the wedding discount, the rooms were between $200-250 a night) and so few people stayed in our hotel block for that reason. That being said, those family and friends who stayed there raved about their stay and said they would certainly stay there again.

I had my daughter's wedding at the Hampton this past weekend. Everything was wonderful! Megan was so helpful and truly a pleasure to work with. The food was terrific and the service was incredible! I am looking forward to the next event in March!

I can't say enough amazing things about Joel's Catering and The Hampton Convention Center! I had my wedding there on November 1, 2014 and it was nothing short of perfect! The grand ballroom at the hotel is the perfect backdrop and layout for a wedding reception. The food is plentiful and amazing - at a value that can't be beat anywhere in New Orleans! My bridesmaids and I got dressed in one of the bridal suites, which is located in a historic building with beautiful brick walls and floor to ceiling windows. It photographed beautifully in our pictures and had a distinct New Orleans vibe! Megan, with Joel's Catering, was the sweetest and most accommodating coordinator! She handled all aspects of the reception and had each detail planned and executed exactly to my vision! She was even around during the reception to take care of any last minute issues (like helping me to secure my tossing bouquet moments before having to toss it!). While the Hampton Inn Convention Center was not the first place that I thought of for a wedding reception, I am beyond grateful that I found the venue and would highly recommend it to any future bride looking for a wonderful location for her wedding and an amazing experience for her guests!

I cannot rave enough about how fantastic the Hampton Inn Suites was. It's located one block from Canal St and the start of Bourbon St, so it was perfect in terms of being close to the action but away from the riff raff. The rooms were pristine and the staff was above and beyond from what I expected from a hotel chain. I stayed in one of the two largest suites, which is larger than my current apartment. Everything about our room was spot on. Huge bathroom...huge living room...dining room...and even an extra 1/2 bath. All my guests raved about how great the hotel was, including the older crowd. There's a Starbucks one block away as well as a great late night friend chicken spot (Brothers). I will definitely be staying here again. The front desk people were always smiling and we had a lot of fun throughout the week. We know most of them on first name basis now.

We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of the services provided by the Hampton Inn & Suites Convention Center and Joel's Catering for our wedding reception. The location was convenient for our in town and out of town guests. The food was wonderfully local and not "typical wedding food". The service provided by the Hampton Inn and Joel's employees was top notch. Everyone we dealt with went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. We highly recommend the Hampton and Joel's!!

This was my first time staying in New Orleans and this property was wonderful. It was walking distance to everything; Bourbon Street for fun at night and the French Quarters for daytime delight. The rooms are spacious and above all the price can not be beat for all of the wonderful things this hotel has to offer. This is definitely the hotel I will ALWAYS recommend to anyone looking for a nice hotel in New Orleans. "If you ever have to go to New Orleans and want a great hotel to stay at, this Hampton Inn New Orleans is the place to go to. I stayed 3 nights and was actually sad to leave.

The Hampton Inn was very organized and kept me on track when it came to accommodations for my guest. They kept in touch with me and sent me all of the necessary information for the guest itinerary. They were very hands-on about coordinating all accommodations for guests, including dispensing my gifts to individual hotel rooms, notifying guest for pick-up, etc.

We had our wedding in NoLa and the Hampton Inn & Suites in Downtown New Orleans worked out great. Thank you

I would recommend The Hampton Inn Downtown New Orleans to anyone planning a wedding. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spacious (very important for getting ready to get married!) and comfortable, even the (free!) continental breakfast was amazing! There was even an overlooked error (on their part) when booking my date, and though they could have upped the rate, they chose the honor the more reasonable rate that I was quoted. Amazing experience =-)

We used hotel accomodations for guests. The guests were very impressed with service and rooms. I was very impressed with the staff and cost of rooms.

We had our hotel block at the Hampton Inn on St. Charles for our guests. The hotel is beautiful and clean. They provide a nice breakfast each morning and coffee and water with lemon all day. My family can be a bit much to deal with sometimes but the staff at the Hampton Inn made sure they were all kept happy, a truly amazing feat!

Our reception was at the Federal Ballroom and the Hampton Inn was literally across the street. The rooms were so huge and super nice! It was perfect for getting ready in. The staff was great and very helpful. The hotel is still undergoing renovations but you would never know it.

Hampton Inn Convention Center was easy to work with, accessible, and accommodating. They handled reservations, and bookings professionally. They answered my calls and emails promptly for pre-wedding plans. The hospitality suite was perfect; rooms were as well. The breakfast was a hit with our guests. We did have a couple slight glitches that were handled immediately when we notified the front desk staff. The location was perfect for out of town guests to tour around and take advantage of the city. I highly recommend Hampton Inn Convention Center for wedding guests.

My husband and I got married during French Quarter Fest this year. Hotels were very difficult to work with to get blocks for our guests due to the large number of people who come into town for FQF. The Hampton was willing to accommodate us and were very helpful all along the way. We really enjoyed working with them and our guests who stayed there loved it!

We didn't stay at this hotel but our friends did. The best part was our lady that helped us...Clara is amazing! She took care of everything for us! The guests enjoyed their stay and she helped me with every little detail and all of my many questions.

I had a Great time working with the Staff here! Amanda was GREAT and super sweet. She was able to help me with everything i needed. I only used the hotel to sleep at the night before my wedding and i got ready there. it had a great lobby and bar downstairs to take pics and it was a lot of fun. The front desk was great when me and my bridesmaids (one was my hairdresser) realized at 1 a.m. that we forgot to dye my hair extensions they gave us gloves and extra towels really quick. They were also super great with my family who were all staying in town for the night they blocked enough rooms off for me and then some! I have already told a few of my friends who are getting married to use them and some have.

My (now) husband and I have stayed at the Hampton Convention Center many times. I chose this hotel as our wedding party hotel because of it's huge warehouse style windows and the size and style of their suites. We visited a about 4 other hotels in the area before booking this hotel. It was the most spacious and the most beautiful. The hotel staff was very accommodating. On my wedding day it was raining for the majority of the day, the hotel staff accommodate my request to find a location for us to take take pictures inside of the hotel, free of charge. Everything about the hotel was an A+. Because the hotel was about 6 blocks from the church and 4 from the reception was arranged bus transportation, that was just as flawless as everything else. Very pleased.

I used this hotel for my wedding party and guests to stay for the wedding weekend. Everyone enjoyed the location and employees. Beautiful rooms, great location, and breakfast in the lobby each morning was a great meet and greet for all my guests. We did our wedding around christmas and the hotel decorations were beautiful! I will continue to use this hotel in the future and recommend it to all future brides!

Best place ever! The food and room set up was amazing, so many guest complements! Easy staff to work with! It could have not been a better experience!

Very nice hotel, but no good views of the city. Close enough walking distance to everything, but far enough away not to get too much noise. No pool, but it was okay. We enjoyed our stay but the front desk workers were little help.

Excellent hotel for wedding guests. Big rooms, tentative staff. Great breakfast in the morning- awesome for two sides of the family to meet each other! Close to the French Quarter for easy access to Bourbon Street, but just far enough away to be quiet and smell-free. Right on the trolley line. Couldn't have asked for a better place!
