Riverside Casino & Golf Resort

My husband and I got married at Riverside a few weeks ago. We visited the venue and immediately knew it was going to be our venue based on how beautiful it was and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Our ceremony was on the pool deck and the reception was in the ball room. The good: -Hotel rooms for out of town guests - nice rooms, most guests get early check in, hotel block with discounted rate. -Everything in the same place - no travel decreased cost for us, we didn't have to worry about people drinking & driving, and there was on site food and fun (casino, pool) for guests -Venue Personnel - The ladies we worked with, Kelly and Shaundria were AWESOME! They made the planning process so smooth, and did so much extra stuff for us (such as printing bar menus and creating name cards). -The look of the venue - the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful and Riverside had tons of décor we could use. -We also got a bridal suite for free the night of the wedding, the venue drove us away on a golf cart for our grand exit, and they communicated well with our other venues. The bad: -We were supposed to have ranch and pesto boats on the tables for dinner, which were missed. -We had our cocktail hour in the hall outside the ball room, and the ballroom doors were opened before they were supposed to. We found out it was a safety issue, and the staff quickly acclimated and hors doeurves were still passed. -We had made our tables assignments based on a chart provided by the venue, and some of the tables were mixed up. Thankfully it was some one the back and not family tables. -Our wedding planner had to fight a bit with the bar staff to get the bars moved into the reception area, which was discussed prior. Overall, we definitely recommend Riverside as a wedding venue. We understand that things happen and there will always be something. We are very happy and loved working with this venue!

Where to begin? Originally, our wedding date was May 29, 2020 in Viva Las Vegas. Vegas had other plans and closed down for the entire month of May, so we rescheduled to October which was met with more complications. After calling Angela at Riverside, we decided it would be best to move our wedding closer to home... And it was the best decision we made for our already stressful wedding planning process. We met with Angela, gave her all of our ideas for a little less conventional wedding and she blew it out of the park. Let me give a little run down of how we ended up doing the wedding. We rented the ballroom which holds 600 people and had around 150 people there. In two corners, we had lounge areas with couches and chairs while the other two corners had appetizer lines. High top tables were around the dance floor that was in the middle of the ballroom, sit down tables scattered about, and the head table was actually a lounge area as well. Right when you walked in, there was a beautiful ice statue with champagne bottles sticking out surrounded by a charcuterie display. And we can't forget about the donut wall that Riverside brought in for us and made the donuts from scratch. They even created and brought to life our Arch we got married under! We wanted unique and not even 24 hours after we told Angela what we envisioned, she sent us an email with over 10 pages of options we could do for the wedding. She customized our wedding package over and over to make sure it was exactly what we needed and cost effective for our budget. I've mentioned Angela a lot, she is one of the event planners at the Resort and she worked alongside me like it wasn't just my wedding, but also hers. She was all over the place making sure not one detail was overlook. You don't meet a lot of people who truly pour their dedication into their job, but Angela did just that and more for us to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted (especially since it was the 3rd time planning it). We had Riverside do everything for our wedding, the décor, the food, the dessert, you name it. And Angela handled every single thing. The amount of stress she relieved us from, in and of itself was the best part about choosing Riverside. I could not imagine having our dream day anywhere else solely based on the dedication and attention to detail their entire team exhibited on our wedding day. Their team, expertise and dedication are worth 10x more than what we paid for. One million out of 10 would recommend getting married at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort. I started coming to Riverside in 2013 I met the love of my life in the show lounge 2014. We have been there every week since. We love Riversides atmosphere and have met a lot of close friends from going there regularly. When my daughter said she wanted to get married. We sat down with MacKenzie Hocking at Riverside and was told about the Game Day Wedding Package. OMG..... It included a Grand Master Suite, ceremony room, reception room, cocktail hour, buffet style dinner, late night food bar, linens, servers, helpers, bartender, free cocktails, ect.... ect.... And it included Mack... Let me tell you about Mack.. She promptly answered all my questions. No matter how crazy. Our emails are endless for 1 whole year of prepations.. She offered advice and solutions.. She had great ideas.. She even sent me pictures of the tables and chairs and their measurements.. She was just as particular as me also when it came to things being straight.. We had Arch issues :) She was hilarious when she seen me starting to freak out while decorating also. Hahah. And what I think was the best, she looked genuinely just as excited and proud as me to make my daughters wedding beautiful. Which it was. Absolutely beautiful 😍 PS. She cried also. 💘 People are still talking about how wonderful everything was... Some might think it to be pricey. I won't lie. It wasn't cheap and there are things we could have done to make it a bit cheaper.. But if you've ever thrown a big party which I have before at my own past wedding and you've had to provide everything yourself, including the tables and chairs. This was an absolutely great wedding package. Worth every penny.. Doing it alone would have cost more. Live It Up 💘 💒 💘

When it came time to pick a venue to host a 50th anniversary party for my parents, there was no question where it would be as Riverside is one of my parents’ favorite spots! I hadn’t hosted a big enough event there before to utilize their event center, but the space and people at Riverside did not disappoint. Stephanie and her team worked with me and my event planner to make sure everything went off without a hitch and they accommodated several special requests with ease. We had so many rave reviews from the 90+ guests. It was truly and unforgettable night! Thank you, Riverside team!!
