The facility is owned and operated by Robin Jones, who started out in the industry as a wedding planner. After working with many venues with hidden fees and unnecessary restrictions, she decided she wanted to give couples a more straightforward and relaxing experience. This event center is a secluded and tranquil retreat for your celebration of love. Ceremony locations at Riverside Event Center include in front of the river, where the rushing water will act as a picturesque backdrop to your vows. This spot can accommodate 200 people and comes with restrooms and a cocktail bar, at which your guests can order drinks. You and your partner can also tie the knot on the back deck of the venue. Here, you will enjoy dramatic views of the lawns, trees, and Chimney Rock. Receptions are held in the ballroom, which was built in 1928 and has been lovingly restored to combine both retro charm and modern amenities. With hardwood floors, large windows, exposed beams, and wainscoting, this banquet hall is a charming place for dining and dancing late into the night. Rental of Riverside Event Center comes with two get-ready suites where you and your wedding party can prepare for the festivities. One of these includes a kitchen, a sitting area, and four salon vanities where you can get your hair and makeup done. Both of these rooms are elegantly furnished and provide plenty of space for relaxing with loved ones on the big day. Full bar packages, bartenders, tables and chairs, linens, china, and parking are also readily available for your ease and convenience.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this venue! An absolutely beautiful space that was affordable with staff that went above and beyond through out the entire process. Robin was so helpful with planning and making sure our special day ran seamlessly.

Robin is very professional and great at what she does for her couples. She has an amazing team that works hard to make your day as perfect as possible. We could not have asked for a better day! She made our day stress free and all we had to do was show up and enjoy. They made this entire process easy. We could call or text with any questions at any point in time. Able to do a couple of zoom meetings because this was a destination wedding. Love Robin and her team. Would recommend for a beautiful mountain wedding.

Perfect location for destination wedding! Dec 2022 outdoor wedding that was absolutely perfect with reception steps away inside beautiful reception hall - all on the banks of the river! Robin is the ultimate wedding planner and made the day perfect!

Robin was a pleasure to work with. The venue was perfect for our day. There were a few hiccups, that are to be expected, but everything was fixed before it could really be noticed by the guests. Great experience.

Couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding! Everything was beautiful, fun and magical! Robin and Tammy took care of any issues/delays that happened and made sure I was worry-free. They were nothing but sweet and kind and made set up, getting ready and our first look so easy and wonderful. The bar staff were fun and hilarious, the ceremony location is gorgeous and the reception area was perfect! Our special day was the most special it could have been. The best ever!

If this venue has found its place on your list of potentials, just go ahead and have your wedding here!! I got married October 22nd and I relied on Robin and her team to find all vendors, set up, and coordinate the whole day. I was extremely happy with the vendors, the expertise of everyone involved, the attention to detail and the positive energy from everyone involved. Robin was incredibly helpful on the day of and did things I wouldn’t have expected such as putting my veil on, helping with my bustle, and overall just making sure I had a great day. This venue goes above and beyond, not to mention the mountain views and adorable areas to take photos nearby like The Flowering Bridge. We love Riverside event center and we will definitely consider using it for any events our family could have in the future. Thank you so much Robin 💜

Robin and her team take care of EVERYTHING! Planning was so easy! The whole planning process was fun and the wedding day itself was perfect! Even during the reception she is making sure you and your groom are taken care of!

I will sing Robin and Riverside Event Center's praises forever. She was amazing, her staff was amazing, the venue is beautiful and amazing. Everything was executed perfectly with her help and she was above and beyond helpful and accommodating. I planned my wedding from 9 hours away and everything came out perfect. My vision was absolutely executed perfectly. I honestly could not be happier with everything. This is all not to mention the absolutely stunning backdrop view for the ceremony and photos as well as the beautiful interior for the reception and full bar. We were able to get ready on site with plenty of room to spend the whole day there comfortably (private suites to get ready in, kitchen on-site, and a private bathroom and lounge). Riverside was affordable, accommodating, and honestly perfect. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone getting married in the area. We had an absolute blast and I'm so grateful that we found them. Thank you, thank you, thank you again for making our day absolutely perfect!

Working with Robin and Calyssa has been the highlight of our wedding planning process. The venue itself is perfect in terms of size, ceremony options, views, decor, and adaptability. All that paired with Robin and Calyssa's extensive wedding planning experience make Riverside a dream place to get married. Every step of the process was smooth, professional, friendly, and relieving knowing we were in good hands. Rather than pump out the same event over and over, they go to great lengths to make each event unique and special. I cannot recommend them enough!

A wonderful Venue! Robin and her staff was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend. We got married in August of 2019, Robin was our wedding planner and everything went so smooth. We had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding they had been to! Not only was the venue beautiful the flowering bridge across the street was a beautiful photo opportunity for a first look.

We were very late planners for a wedding but it could not have turned out any better! The reception room was beautiful and we had an absolute blast!! We had a hiccup with the DJ not being on time, but Robin stepped right in and took that over so I did not even have to stress over it! I am one to stress so that was a huge thing for me. They were helpful and accommodating from the get go and helped us think of everything. Thank you so much for making my daughter's wedding day one to remember. It was so much fun that I wish we could do it again! : )

Robin and her family made our wedding day perfect. From the moment we walked into Riverside last year, Robin and her family felt like our family. My wedding day at Riverside was beyond anything I could have imagined. Every detail went off without a hitch, even though it rained and we moved the ceremony inside. Robin is an expert coordinator. I am so grateful to Riverside for allowing us to have the most magical wedding day. I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone and everyone. We have gotten compliments from so many guests about the venue, from how beautiful it was to how kind and excellent everyone running the show was. Thank you so much for everything you did for us!

We are so happy with our choice of Riverside Event Center for our wedding. Robin and her family are great and really know how to run a wonderful business. The day went so smoothly, and we didn't have a hitch with our wedding. Robin worked so hard to make everything just right! She is also timely responsive and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone, and I wouldn't change a thing about our day! Also, you can't get a better background than Chimney Rock! Thank you Robin !!
