Oh my gosh, I can't say how great this place was. Skylar and Lydia were there every step of the way. I'm definitely the least "bridezilla" person, but I feel like my laid back attitude actually made their job more difficult! But they directed me well. The "one stop shop" helped tremendously, and the food was all anyone could take about (other than the... you know... wedding). I actually didn't even try the food until the night of the wedding as I live out of town... but it was AMAZING. Their staff was so kind, and everyone just felt at home. There was also one woman working there (unfortunately I completely forgot her name) that has been there for years and years. She helped with things that weren't even CLOSE to her job. She brought my husband and I food, kept our wine glasses full, helped with my bustle... everyone there just made our lives so easy. 10/10 would recommend.

ALL YOU BRIDES LOOKING FOR AN AUTHENTIC NEW ORLEANS WEDDING STOP RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS IS THE PERFECT VENUE. From the ambience of the city, the jazz music playing down the streets during our ceremony, and the authentic New Orleans cuisine.. the RiverView Room is the perfect place to celebrate love, family, unity, and fun. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my idea of a perfect wedding in my head would become a reality, but it did. There are not enough words to describe how much FUN we had having our wedding here. We had guests who recently got married and told us “darn, this was better than our wedding”. The food, the dancing, the venue… a dream come true. My coordinator Skylar was IMPECCABLY punctual, organized, hilarious, fun, and created a beautiful flow of events for the evening. I seriously want to be her best friend, along with every single staff member at this venue. I am seriously searching for something else to celebrate just so I can book this venue over and over again. Now, back to the food. Delicious is an understatement. My guests were trying to bring Tupperware up just so they could take some food home.. I’m pretty sure some of them did lol. Every. Single. Dish. Was. TO DIE FOR. I wish they would open a RiverView room restaurant because I would be their number one customer. As an out of town bride, planning can be stressful and communication can seem sporadic… not with this venue. Every ridiculous question at any time of the day, was answered QUICKLY. Even when I thought my question was silly or insignificant, the RiverView team assured me all my questions were valid. I cannot say enough kind words. Oh my goodness!!! Words cannot describe how I absolutely loved having my wedding here. With Elizabeth, Keitra and the lovely Skylar they made me feel like family in the planning process. On the actual wedding date the staff it it’s entirety was ah-mazing!!! If I was to do it all over again I would with the exact same people and place. I currently live in Chicago but the communication was if I lived up the street. I highly recommend for not only your wedding/reception but every occasion.

The Riverview Room is the perfect place to throw a big, New Orleans party wedding! The location is PERFECT (close to everything buzzy), especially for out of town guests! We loved working with Elizabeth, Keitra, and our attendants the day-of were phenomenal, throughout the entire planning process - they even helped me find my phone the next day when I left it at the venue on our wedding night (further shows how much fun we had!) Our parents on the day of raved about how well taken care of they felt by the attendants. Everyone loved the food and the space. They did a wonderful job making sure everything was exactly how I had envisioned. Inside tip: make sure that you book your tasting right when you book the space - there is one per quarter and that way you can make sure you can plan accordingly! We would not change a thing about our amazing day, thanks to all of the effort and care the Riverview Room staff provided. Thank you, Riverview Room!

PERFECT! WONDERFUL! BEAUTIFUL! I don't think we could say enough good things about The RVR. When we first walked into the venue to tour, we immediately said we could "picture ourselves here." Elizabeth was wonderful to email and plan with. Mandi helped us with all the details and Skylar was a fantastic attendant! The views from the terrace and balconies over looking the river and city are unbelievably dreamy and made for great photos! Between the murals painted on the walls, the hard wood floors, white ceiling, white carpet, and large windows- every corner of the room is gorgeous. We used almost all the decor they offered because everything just flowed together so nicely- that was a bonus for us because we didn't have to purchase and coordinate added decor. The RVR crew offers a food tasting a few times a year which was a fun and valuable experience so we could choose some food options for our reception. Our guests said they loved the champagne wall before the ceremony and raved about the food! We added the bananas foster station, and even though the attendants brought some to us on the dance floor, we wished it could have been more of an "event" for us to watch and get pictures with, as a lot of our guests said they missed it. We got married in early June and knew it would be hot so we supplied paper fans for our guests- which they reported back they appreciated. Our bridal party said it was hot but not as bad as they thought it would be. Our ceremony was for 6PM and lasted about 20 minutes. When the ceremony ended and we returned outside for family pictures, it was about 6:30-6:45 and it immediately felt cooler as the sun went down so consider your ceremony time. We felt the cost of the entire venue was more than what we originally wanted to pay, but looking back, we wouldn't change a thing and everything was so worth it! I looked at so many places when trying to find a venue, and the Riverview Room was perfect! Elizabeth was wonderful to work with, and they made everything so easy! Everything from the food which they catered to the room decor was perfect! They are so flexible when it comes to last minute changes in case of rain. The view of the river was beautiful along with the rooftop view of the city!They made everything so perfect and I highly recommend them if you are trying to find your perfect wedding venue!

Overall we had a wonderful experience at the Riverview Room. The guest have raved about the food and during the planning process the communication was pretty quick. The only complaint that I have is in regards to the personal attendant that was assigned to my husband and I. She met us downstairs when we arrived and asked us for our drink orders and explained she would be taking care of us the whole night. However, that was the last time I saw her. Our wedding coordinator was also annoyed with her and there were countless times I had to go to the bar myself or have to track someone down to get me a piece of cake or food. That definitely put a small damper on an otherwise wonderful night.

We had a Destination Wedding in New Orleans so we were looking for a venue that offered a great location, had local charm, if possible had a nice view and had inside and outside options since the weather can be unpredictable. Riverview Room has it all! Most importantly their team was great and all of our guests raved about the amazing customer service they received during the reception.

Our wedding was so magical at Riverview Room! The venue itself is beautiful but the staff and food are what makes is so amazing! Elizabeth was wonderful to work with and helped us create a menu that worked within our budget while still showcasing an authentic New Orleans culinary experience. Months later, our guests are still talking about the oysters, shrimp & grits and gouda mashed potatoes! The day of our wedding, Mandy and her team made sure everything was flawless. I can't recommend the Riverview Room enough! We had our ceremony and reception there in July. From our first interaction with the sales team, to the big day, we had a great experience with everyone at the Riverview Room. We booked the venue sight unseen as we live out of state. The location is in the heart of the French Quarter with amazing views of the river and Jackson Square.

We had our wedding reception at the Riverview Room in November and everything was absolutely perfect! We would like to thank Elizabeth, Mandi and their team for such a great experience! We had the best day and made so many special memories at your beautiful venue. Our guests are still talking about it! We will always recommend you to anyone looking for a place to get married.

Event with hurricane Ida hitting 2 months to the day before our wedding, they made it happen. Damage was fixed or covered by our date. One window was covered with pipe and drape and we turned it into our photo booth back drop! Shiree and Stanton were so attentive the entire night for us and our parents. The night ran so smoothly because of them.

If I had to plan my wedding again, I would definitely pick the Riverview Room! The staff was incredibly helpful and understanding of having to plan a wedding during a pandemic. Having to plan our wedding from out of town, the Riverview room staff was especially attentive, detailed, and supportive of everything I needed and asked for. Both Elizabeth and Isaac were so friendly! On the day of, the staff had set up everything exactly as planned. Our guests loved the picture perfect views from all the balconies. The staff did an amazing job packing our leftovers (both hor d'oeuvres and cake) and helping us pack our belongings after the reception. I cannot say enough good things about the Riverview Room. Thank you so much for making our big day so wonderful and memorable!

The staff at the Riverview Room were fabulous! They took everything we dropped off and had it exactly how we envisioned. Our ceremony was moved inside due to rain and they set up quickly to get started. The food was wonderful! They broke everything down during send off and we were ready to load our cars right after. Liz was great in serving the bride and groom and parents with food , beverage and anything they needed. I would highly recommend using this venue. Thanks so much for making our night special!

The ladies at the Riverview Room are so helpful. I just got married at the Riverview Room on July 11, 2021. Right when the wedding was supposed to start, it started down pouring on the balcony, and the Riverview Room moved everything inside. We got started only 10 minutes past schedule. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out.. but I cannot speak highly enough of all of the workers who work so hard to make your wedding day so smooth & stress free! All the guests also raved about how good the food was & how beautiful the venue is.

Our wedding at the Riverview Room was an absolute dream come true. After planning and rescheduling 3 different times due to COVID, I can absolutely say with confidence that the RVR went above and beyond to make this day everything and more. Elizabeth and her team are an absolute joy to work with and the most helpful through all of the planning process. I am a very detail oriented and picky planner, and they made sure that every single vision was brought to life and then some. The food was incredible and received so many compliments. We are so thankful to have had our special day at this beautiful venue and would highly recommend it to anyone considering!

We booked the Riverview Room for my daughter’s wedding reception and could not have made a better choice! The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating! The room was beautiful, as well as the views from the multiple balconies!

Honestly, our wedding could not have gone any smoother, even during a pandemic. Carmela and Elizabeth worked with us constantly to make sure our wedding was as close to perfect as possible. The food was absolutely fantastic and the assistants that took care of us and our parents the whole night were AMAZING! The whole venue looked stunning and every single one of our guests has commented on how beautiful and fun our reception was. The whole experience was enjoyable and I am extremely happy with our choice 😊

I had to think long and hard before writing this review. I wanted to give it 5 stars so bad, but I just couldn't. Something to keep in mind, I did have my wedding during a pandemic so that obviously changes things. Pros: *Our wedding was paid in full, we were a few weeks out and then BAM, the Stay at Home order was issued. RVR was very accommodating and allowed us to move our date twice with no issue. * The venue itself is wonderful. The ceremony on the terrace was magical and the views are amazing. I loved that there were so many balconies so people had many options on where they could spend their time. The layout of the place is great and was perfect during Covid because people could really spread out. *The food was amazing (or so my guests tell me lol) *Elizabeth and the rest of the sales team were pleasant to work with even during the tough times Con: *The venue coordinator I feel terrible even saying this, but there were just too many things that were not as we discussed. My guests had a great time and everything was perfect in their eyes, but I was bothered by the details that were out of place. 1. Since we had to lower our guest count, we had to find a way to compensate for all the money we already paid. One of our options was to bring out a late night snack. The coordinator suggested po-boys and beignets. None of my guests can recall the late night po-boys, but the venue said they were passed out. I am 100% sure there were no beignets. The venue said that it was not in our contract. It was not in our contract because somebody dropped the ball. 2. Through many meetings and discussions with Carmela, we had agreed on doing the sparkler exit into the second line. This was discussed many times. The night of the wedding, about 30 minutes until it ended, my own personal planner approaches me to ask if I wanted to do the sparkler OR second line exit. Very confusing. I ended up just doing the second line to save time, but that was not what I wanted nor what we had spent a year and a half planning! 3. The welcome tables and guest tables were not set up to my specifications. In the back of a guest photo I can literally see a cardboard box just out on top the welcome table. I also saw that a bag of glow sticks was just sitting out on the table with our engagement pictures. WTF. I trusted whomever to set these things up in a nice display. It doesn't look like much effort was put forth. 4. The coordinator was so forgetful. We had a Zoom meeting scheduled a week before that she completely forgot about. This wasn't the first time she forgot about a meeting either. The day of the wedding she texted my planner wondering what beer I chose. I got asked on the day of my wedding what beer I was supposed to have. I know we discussed it & I saw her write it down. She forgot that the musicians were supposed to have a heater until we reminded her after arriving. She also had my cakes set up in the wrong spot. They were supposed to be in the middle to make a lounge area in the corner. This was not done correctly either. That's not the end of it either, but I'll stop there. I know it may seem like I am nit picking but that's only because when so much time, effort, and money is spent on something, you want it to be perfect. I know I'm lucky they even allowed me to have my event, but I had to write this review to let other brides know to be cautious in working with the venue coordinator. I didn't even see her the day of! Weird.

This place was STUNNING. They most amazing backdrop for a reception and first look. They were flexible with changes and accommodating. The service and food were spot on and we felt so cared for. The venue was clean and just perfect for our wedding. Thank you to the staff!!

The staff at the Riverview Room went above and beyond for us. We had our ceremony and reception and it couldn't have been more beautiful. We had to postpone a few times due to Covid-19, original plans had to change from season to season, but the staff couldn't have been better at making the process a little less stressful and producing an even more beautiful product than I could have imagined. From the gorgeous views of the river and the city, to the delicious food, to the amazingly friendly staff, it was the most beautiful day of our lives thus far.

You should definitely get married at the Riverview Room. The whole team there is great and made our ceremony and reception everything we imagined plus so much more. The sales team was truly amazing. They were kind and not pushy during our first tour. It was the last venue we visited and both the space and staff blew everything else out of the water. We also booked our venue about a year before our wedding and they were kind enough to let us come by and bring my mother-in-law from out of town for a second tour, which was such an important part of making her feel welcomed in the wedding process. The awesome tasting we attended solidified that we made the right choice. Staff was there during the planning to help us answer questions (we found phone calls to be quicker than emails). They were honest with their advice, which is helpful during the planning process when it can feel like everyone is just telling you yes. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, the Riverview Room was accomodating of our menu and schedule changes. The last month was the easiest of all! Of course, the space was perfect on the day of the wedding. Our rooftop ceremony was gorgeous and the reception was beautiful. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Our family of New Orleans locals was impressed, which says a lot. The balconies provide a ton of space for people to spread out but be near one another. The staff at the Riverview Room totally wowed us too. Our bridal attendant made sure we ate and always had a fresh drink in our hands. She helped me change for our departure and was reassuring the whole night. The waiters and bartenders were incredibly kind to all of our guests. They were everywhere when we needed them but never in the way. And most importantly, they seemed happy to be there and to be having fun (no one wants to feel like they're bothering someone, but these folks went above and beyond to make conversation with all of our guests). And of course the location in French Quarter made it the perfect place to end the night with a second line. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

EVERYONE at the Riverview Room was AMAZING to work with!!! Elizabeth was so helpful when we were looking here before we booked. After, Issac and Mandy answered all my questions right away and were so helpful with every suggestion I had! Not to mention the space is beautiful! The whole team made our wedding the most perfect night!!!

This place is perfect! We had our ceremony outside on the balcony and our reception inside. Mandy (the wedding coordinator), Elizabeth, and Isaac were extraordinary! They all helped me, my husband, and my family throughout the entire planning process and they were quick to respond to questions. We loved this place not only because of the beautiful views, but also for the amazingly open layout. The layout of the place really helps the crowd to see and interact with each other best. This venue also stood out to us because they did all of their cooking in house and the day of (my guests could not stop talking about the delicious souther food) and the wedding coordinator came with the booking. I cannot stress enough how great Mandy was the night before and of. Me, my husband, and our parents were well taken care of on the wedding night and she made sure that we all had food and a never ending supply of drinks! Seriously recommend this location! You'll love it! We did!

This review took me longer than it should have to write because I am still emotional ( happy tears) with how influential this venue and this staff was to making our wedding day perfect. I feel overwhelmed with happiness that I had the chance to work with these people and how we felt like our day meant so much them as well as to us. I had to cut this review from 1 whole page to a a couple paragraphs so that people would read it but hands down the staff and venue were amazing! From our first conversation with Elizabeth we knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding. We booked the venue without even traveling down prior that’s how comfortable she made us feel and I am glad we did. We planned our wedding from out of state and there is now way I could have done the planning process without Mandy and Isaac. They were responsive and informative and made me feel heard and at ease. I knew I could trust them in the process and they didn’t shy away from stepping up to any task. Chef Tom and our bridal and parent attendants ensured that our big day went smoothly they worked magic all night and were there for us the entire time. From the rehersal to show time they were there for us the entire time! There wasn’t 1 hiccup the entire night. THE VENUE IS STUNNING. We went with white, simple, greenery gold and small candles and it was PERFECT since the venue itself is so beautiful. The views of the river and off the balcony are so perfect there is no venue that could recreate them. There wasn’t much more decor we needed to add which I loved. Our food and alcohol packages were amazing and I loved every appetizer and entrée we tried. If the Riverview Room is available for your big day you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!! The moment I walked into the Riverview Room I knew this was where I wanted our wedding. The staff is so helpful from the day you reserve your date to your wedding day! Food was great. The space is absolutely gorgeous with new upgrades and a beautiful river view!

We got married and held our reception at the Riverview Room on November 2nd of this year and I couldn’t have hoped for or dreamed of a more perfect day. Isaac, Mandy, everyone - just everyone I spoke to or worked with was warm and wonderful and endlessly patient with my never ending questions. I was an overwhelmed and overworked bride and they gave me the only thing I could hope for - some peace. I knew they had me covered. They know what they’re doing and they are handling it perfectly. Day of, I never had to worry. I just had to show up. The food was delicious!! And the two women that were helping us out all night were absolutely FABULOUS. Everyone we’ve spoken to since the wedding has raved about the venue (that terrace is so gorgeous at sunset!) and the food. Thank you to the entire team over there for helping us create this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our wedding reception at the Riverview room was amazing! The venue is beautiful, spacious and has an amazing location overlooking the river. The staff was wonderful to work with. We really enjoyed the tasting and getting to meet the staff. Mandy was always so accessible and ready to answer any questions and share insight. She really made it to easy to plan for all the details. Highly recommended this venue!

From the very first moment i stepped foot in Riverview Room i knew it would be the place that we would get married. We were greeted by Isaac and we instantly fell in love with not only the venue itself, but the knowledgeable, fun, and kind staff! My mom and I canceled the rest of our venue appointments after our tour, if that tells any brides (especially destination) how amazing my first impression was. I knew being a destination bride was going to be difficult, but i was overwhelmed by how easy everyone at Riverview room made it for me. From the sweet card and candle i got in the mail after choosing Riverview Room, to the morning after the wedding retrieving our stuff from the venue, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT(and easy.) The food tastings that they host serve and display some of their most popular menu items (but i can’t imagine there being a bad thing on the menu!) if you can make it to one of those i highly recommend it (if you can’t.. make sure you choose the corn and crab bisque and lamb pops - our guests are STILL talking about those.) Mandy made everything so incredibly easy. She was patient with all my questions, she was always willing to offer a helpful suggestion, and she was just over all incredible. Our ceremony was supposed to start at 6 o’clock and right at 5:50 it started raining and all of our guests came in. She came to me and asked me what i wanted to do because i knew that the backup plan was to have it inside. She knew that i wanted it outside so i asked her if we could hold off until 6:15 and if it hadn’t stopped raining then we would move it inside.... and asked if we could open the bar :) well she made it happen! Opened the bar and she notified our guests that the wedding would proceed at 6:15! When i tell y’all these folks are there for the bride and groom, THEY ARE THERE FOR THE BRIDE AND GROOM!!! They are amazing! They had attendants for us and attendants for our parents and we never had an empty drink in our hand. My mother in law has not stopped telling people about it! I honestly could go on and on and on about how amazing our wedding was all thanks to Mandy, Isaac, and the staff at Riverview room!!

We loved Riverview Room so much, I couldn't ask for it to have been more perfect! From the months leading up to the wedding, up until the reception, they were incredibly helpful with every detail you can think of. Our event planner, Mandy, went above and beyond with every aspect we could possibly imagine. I was so so grateful for her answering all of my tons of questions, and with such a quick response time. We heard so many comments and compliments from guests on how gorgeous the venue and decorations were, and how fantastic everything was planned out. We can't thank you enough!! <3

I wish I could give 10 stars. Chas and I are so grateful that we picked the Riverview Room for both our ceremony and reception! Little did we know that we would be picking the weekend when Tropical Storm/Hurricane Barry would make its appearance. Mandy at the Riverview Room did an outstanding job staying in touch with us AND the vendors the days leading up to the wedding. The storm's path was unpredictable even hours before our wedding, but the staff at the Riverview Room did not let it affect our ceremony or reception AT ALL. The biggest change we had to make was moving the ceremony from outside to inside--they did this seamlessly. The food and alcohol were fantastic and the staff was so kind and generous. Chas and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding (2 years in the making) everything we hoped it would be.

It was absolutely magical and dreamy. Our wedding was on July 4th (fireworks was the cherry on the cake) and it was the best experience for our families as they were traveling from out of country and State. The venue is breathtaking. This is the best spot in New Orleans for a perfect wedding! Thank you to all the staff who were associated with the wedding! Cheers!

This place made my absolute dreams come true for my wedding. You can’t even describe the beauty of this venue. The ambience is one of a kind and you’ll never be able to fully capture its essence in a photo or video but experience it’s full beauty in person. It was perfect for us. Then to add to it... their food. Absolutely divine! Honestly, I could not tell you a favorite because everything was my favorite. The staff is kind from beginning to end of your process and I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking for a New Orleans wedding.

I don't have anything negative to say about the Riverview Room, everything was fantastic! Mandy was very responsive to any and all emails. We were only in New Orleans for a week deciding on vendors, but they were able to fit us in for one of their scheduled tastings. The views from the main room and patios are absolutely breathtaking. We booked them a year out and by the time it came for us to pick our menu, the offered options had changed; Mandy was very helpful in reconciling the old and new menu options. The waitstaff the night of our wedding were wonderful. Our guests absolutely RAVED about how delicious the food was that night and next day!

The Riverview Room has beautiful views, and it was the perfect place for our New Orleans wedding reception. We loved the open floor concept, options for outdoor space, and the large balcony. They provided so many items that you don’t think of but are needed for a reception. The food was amazing; all of our guests raved over the choices and how delicious everything was. The staff (Mandi, Issac, and RVR staff) were incredibly helpful with every detail leading up to the wedding. You should rest easy knowing this team will execute beginning to end with no problems. If you are thinking of booking go ahead, this is the best place to be in the French Quarter. We enjoyed our time and planning process with you all. Thank you again to all of the Riverview Room team.

My wedding was on 5/26/19 at the Riverview Room. From the moment we decided on the Riverview Room, everything was a breeze! We planned our wedding from out of state and Mandy and Issac do such a great job of always answering the phone when I call and helping me out with any question or request that I had. They truly made our wedding planning experience an easy one! We had our ceremony and reception at the Riverview Room and it was an absolute dream! We had 200 guests with many having never been to New Orleans before. It is the perfect place to have a wedding with a classic New Orleans vibe. The outdoor balcony is so beautiful. The views of the French Quarter and the river are spectacular. The reception space is perfect size and looks absolutely amazing since the new renovations. Everyone made sure our reception ran smooth and it was a blast! My family, the groom and I were never empty handed with drinks because of the lovely attendants provided. I have guests still raving about how amazing the food was. We are still getting comments from guests on how awesome the space was and how much fun everyone had! Overall our experience with the Riverview Room was perfect and I would recommend it to anyone!

We fell in love with The Riverview Room as soon as we began touring the venue a year out from our wedding date. We are from Arkansas and were looking for a venue that could accommodate a large group of 300 guests, emit a romantic, elegant, and Nola feel, while having space to spread out, step outside, have beautiful views of the city, and have great food - well The Riverview Room was all this and more! The venue itself is just outstanding. Recently renovated it is just lovely. You feel special as you head up the elevators to this private venue that overlooks the city. Gorgeous large windows that show the city skyline, river, and bridge. Just stunning. And if you have some guests that like to spread out and not be in the middle of the action, there are 4 great balconies that allow them to do so and one large terrace that overlooks the square. Mandy is just wonderful at coordinating everything as well. She listened to our requests and made them happen for us. Many vendors are familiar with this popular venue so no trouble with anyone needing to set up/deliver. The staff were just so friendly and efficient! The food was amazing. Just a fairy tale experience :) Thank you for a fabulous night!

My wedding was 3.9.19 at the Riverview Room, and we used both the outdoor space for the ceremony and the indoor space for the reception. I cannot speak highly enough about Mandy and the rest of the Riverview Room team. They made sure that everything ran so smoothly. If anything went wrong, I had no idea because to me, it was perfect. Mandy was so professional from the beginning, and made us feel at ease as she took the roles of coordinating the rehearsal, setting up times with our vendors, dropping off wedding day koozies, guest book, and day of items. She really stepped in as a "day of coordinator" to make sure that we didn't have to worry about the little things leading up to the big day. The food was amazing and the view of the city was perfect. The attendants made sure that we ate, that we always had a drink in our hand, and that we knew where to go when, whether it was for a group picture, cake cutting, flower toss, etc. We also did a sparkler exit which was coordinated by the venue. Even after the wedding, when one of my guests had lost a phone the night before, Mandy looked tirelessly and kept in touch with us until it was found. She is a gem! The only downside to this venue, which is totally unpreventable, if there are loud car noises or music on the street, you might be able to hear it during the outdoor ceremony. During our rehearsal, one of the cars below was playing very loudly "Going to the Chapel of Love" which actually turned out to be awesome :) To sum it up, we had the most perfect night of our lives, and we heard from so many guests afterwards that it was the best wedding they had been to, and that is all thanks to the staff. Do yourself a favor and book the RR!!!

The Riverview Room was an awesome venue with the best view in New Orleans. The ceremony and reception was a blast and I couldn't think of a better place to get married in NOLA. Also, the staff at the Riverview Room from sales to operations was phenomenal! They are helpful and even helped me after I lost my phone at the reception--unbelievable service and a great time with beautiful views.

We absolutely loved everything about the Riverview Room, from the space, the views from the balconies, the food (we honestly have heard 0 complaints about the food thus far), the staff (Mandy and Isaac are the best)...the list goes on and on. We did a second line from the St. Louis Cathedral to the Riverview Room and the location could not have been more perfect. The staff during our reception were attentive and polite, and they were awesome to work with leading up to our big day...they even worked with us to do a special order of sushi! If you want good service, big space, great food and location, look no further!

When having a February wedding in New Orleans, there are many variables which change daily especially the weather. It was important for us to find a venue which was as pretty outside as inside and the Riverview Room did not disappoint us. The views of the city are spectacular. The wedding was at 4 pm so we were able to see the city turn from day to night which was an added bonus. Our wedding coordinator Mandy Lee was very professional and made everything come together with ease. From the first day she met with us, she handled all the details and was always available to answer questions and solve any issues which arose. She answered emails quickly and assured us everything was taken care of. She also met with all of our vendors and when we arrived to the venue she was waiting for the bride to help with her dress which was a dad's big concern. She and her staff were there for the bride and the groom as well as their families throughout the evening. She ran the rehearsal and made sure everyone understood where they were suppose to be and what was expected of them which can be difficult when you have a large wedding party. I can't praise her enough. She made the whole experience a dream come true for the bride. The food also was delicious. We had many out of town guests who fell in love with the crab bisque, the shrimp etouffee, and the glazed ham. If you have meat lovers the lamb lollipops were cooked perfectly. The wait and bar staff were friendly. We also had a praline station which was a treat for out of town quests. Seeing pralines made from scratch and eating them fresh is very unique to New Orleans. One of our main concerns was how the second line would take place leaving the venue and ending at our hotel. Mandy met the brass band coordinated their arrival upstairs at the reception and it went off without a hitch. She also made sure our party favors which were the fluer-di lis handkerchiefs for the second line and the to go cups were given to the guests and placed at the open bar at just the right time. From the moment we chose the Riverview Room to the completion of our daughter's wedding and reception the entire staff was amazing. The venue and the staff exceeded our expectations on all levels. I would recommend the Riverview Room to anyone who is planning a New Orleans wedding any time of year.

We recently got married at the Riverview and it was absolutely stunning!!!! Mandy Lee was our coordinator and did such an amazing job. She responded to all my emails so fast whenever I had a question. She talked us through everything we needed to know for the big day and kept in contact with me through the whole planning process. I was so busy the wedding day I didn’t have time to give any instruction on how to set up my decor but Mandy took over and made everything look so beautiful!! The staff was so amazing and were able to set up my outdoor ceremony in such a short period because we wanted to make sure it wouldn’t rain. The food was perfect and everyone was raving about it! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. We were constantly checked up on during the reception and had time to ourselves to relax and eat. Also, Mandy sent us home with a goodie bag of food and gifts. I 100 percent recommend the Riverview Room for any event! The view and room are amazing and the staff is so polite and efficient.

Riverview Room was one of the first venues I found when starting to look for our reception, it was perfect for a large crowd with multiple spots to vendors come in as well as a beautiful terrace for our cocktail hour! The staff is amazing and so great to work with! The food was delicious and were so accommodating for every request we had for our big day! All of our guests loved the view and had some perfect backdrops for pictures at night! We still are getting comments on how much fun the entire night was!

I cannot say enough about this venue. It is literally PERFECT in every way. We are from Florida and wanted to be in the heart of the French Quarter and for our 150 out of town guests to see why we love this city so much. The views from the Riverview Room take your breath away. Our ceremony and cocktail hour took place on the rooftop terrace at 5pm, (we lucked out and had the most beautiful sunset you can imagine!) Mandy and her team were on top of every detail, not one thing was missed. From the moment we walked in the doors before the ceremony until the very last guest left: every detail, every moment was absolutely perfect. I didn't have to worry about one thing as we (and our parents) had someone assigned to us the entire night to make sure we were taken care of in every way. The food was amazing and several guests even told us it was the best food they had in New Orleans. Thank you all for making our night simply magical! We appreciate all of you so much.

My dream wedding was suppose to take place at Jackson Square today at 1pm. This entire week my fiancé and I had been looking at the weather. Hoping and praying that it does not rain, being that our venue was outside. Guess what? It was due to rain at our scheduled time. I cried. As a bride, wedding planning is stressful, but to walk down the aisle, surrounded by umbrellas, was by far, the most heart breaking thing. At the last minute, literally 10am this morning, we called the Riverview Room to see if they could help us out in anyway possible. And they did!!!!! I cannot say enough about Katie, Mandy, Isaac, and the rest of their team! I was an out of state bride, so all communication was via email and phone but they made everything so convenient and easy. The day of my wedding I was overjoyed at the venue (I had never seen it in person before) and so happy I chose this place for my reception! Everything was so gorgeous, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Riverview Room was worth every penny, and then some. I could not have asked for a better team and venue to work with on this eventful day!

The best decision we made was choosing the Riverview Room as our venue. The location is great and the venue looks amazing. It’s much roomier than a lot of the French Quarter venues and the price is very reasonable. We got married on their balcony then moved inside for the reception. Mary Quarls and her team were exceptional! This was a destination wedding and we had to communicate long distance for nearly all the planning. This has the potential to be stressful, but Mary made my life so easy, and took care of every detail that was important to me and some I didn’t even think of. The staff was so attentive to us and our guests, and they took special care of our parents tables. My guests raved about the food and many of them are difficult to please! I brought in my own table decorations and all I did was draw a diagram of how I wanted it layed out and they executed it perfectly. One of my guests lost the card they were giving to us as a gift, and they found it and got it to us before we left New Orleans. Everything was so easy and flowed so seamlessly, I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were. We highly recommend this venue. Mary is a godsend! They sent us off with to go plates (you never get to eat at your own wedding) and a bottle of champagne. It was fantastic! The entire experience was a dream.

Mandy Lee and the Team at the Riverview (RV) helped make our destination wedding, for 155 guests, the event of a lifetime. What impressed me most was how hard her staff worked to make the event unforgettable. We had conference calls, emails, texts, they came in on the weekends to find packages that were mis-delivered by FedEx ect.. If there was a way to make the event more personal and exceed expectations, they went above and beyond to make it happen. The RV team was respectful, attentive, professional and committed to excellence. The venue was amazing. Our daughter wanted to get married on a rooftop in an urban city. I wanted a more conservative venue. The Riverview room was a perfect balance for both of us. The rooftop wedding, under the decorative lights, overlooking the French Quarter, while the sun was setting was stunning. The reception, was also over the top as our guests were in awe of the views of the Mississippi river as they danced into the night and then,unto the streets of NOLA with an incredible second line band. This venue was incredible I would highly recommend it. Every generation, was impressed with the location, food, venue and service. We had a blast!!!

The Riverview Room staff and event coordinators were very attentive and accommodating to our every needs throughout the entire planning process. Like every couple, we had last minute requests to ensure our big day was perfect. The professionalism and attention to detail was beyond the highest expectation. On our big day, food was great, staff was on top of everything imaginable, my wife and I along with our guests had a blast. Riverview Room and their staff will leave you with memories you’ll never forget. Pictures don’t do this place justice. Amazing! First off, the view is just incredible. As soon as my wedding party showed up for rehearsal they all said “are you kidding me with this place? wow!” . Second off the food is just so tasty!! I had so many compliments from guests on the view and food. The rooftop terrace for a ceremony is super unique and gives that perfect city vibe if your into that. A plus is that with the lights and planters that Riverview already has in place you don’t have to spend a lot of money to fix the rooftop up compared to Decorating a church or plain Room. It’s already perfect especially with the city view too. The staff is so accommodating to work with and they helped customize a package that made me happy! They are really sweet girls to work with and make the bride feel so special. Shoutout to Mandy for taking on more responsibility after there were some staff changes just a few weeks before our wedding. She did amazing! Stop looking elsewhere and go with Riverview Room. My wedding was September 2, 2018. I wanted a brunch themed wedding and it took place early afternoon. I also planned my wedding in 9 months. The staff at Riverview Room was wonderful! They helped me stay in my budget which was very important for me, and I was still able to have a beautiful wedding. my family is still talking about my wedding!

There aren't enough words to express how wonderful the staff of the Riverview Room were in making my wedding day perfect. From the early planning stages in the beginning, the staff was extremely helpful in guiding my decisions. They were open to customizations with the menu and bar, and offered advice as to how to pull it all together. The day of the ceremony/reception, the staff were true professionals and were able to coordinate the event with ease. I never had to ask for anything and an assistant was not only by our side, bringing drinks/helping to hold things/directing traffic, but also took excellent care of my parents and in-laws to make sure their every need was met as well. . Not only did my wedding day go smoothly, the food and drinks were TOP-KNOTCH and the layout was very well thought-out. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. Here we are 6 months later, and family/friends are still talking about how it was the best wedding they ever attended!

We can't recommend the Riverview Room enough. From the beginning their staff made us feel as if we were there only wedding they were arranging - always very kind and helpful! The views of the river and city are spectacular. The menu and food was off the charts. The staff was so incredible with helping us plan the menu. The guests could not stop raving about how delicious it all was. (A rarity in reception food!) The venue is a very nice size room with many balconies and able to transform into any vision you may have. Definitely 5+stars.

Truly "The BEST" day of my life took place here at the Riverview Room. The staff helped me throw the most AMAZING party ever!!! They did not disappoint. A great way to have an amazing party is to work with an amazing staff and have the stage be set with beautiful scenery and decadent food. My partner and I threw our reception party here on April 21, 2018. We made it a brunch and we added nice touches to the event which made the event one that will go down in history. The staff lead me to the following extra features: champagne girl, bourbon girl and even added a burlesque girl closing the event with our second line parade. Lori and I had our own personal concierge to ensure that our hand was never without a nice cold beverage. Now that is service! Thank you again Riverview Room for making EVERYONE'S DAY SPECIAL and one to NEVER FORGET!

All I can say is WOW! What an amazing experience we had with the RR Room! The wedding day went by like a breeze! All of the girls were extremely helpful with everything the day of the wedding. Food was delicious, people are still talking about how amazing the food was! My Groom & I always had a drink in our hand, thanks to the lovely assistant we had, and we had a full stomach of appetizers before our 1st dance and chatting with everyone! Incredible food, fantastic service, efficient bar & food lines--our guests are still raving about it all! There were some significant changes to management after we signed our contract. We did not get a warm and fuzzy at the scheduled tasting event (that's the reason for 4 stars), but at the end of the day, Katie really did work with us to make sure our original contract was applied and then some! My parents were very well taken care of at the reception, and we never had an empty drink in hand. I wasn't able to see the completed venue until the reception began, but I was more than pleased with how it all turned out.

We chose The Riverview Room for both our ceremony and reception. We viewed a total of four venues and the second we got up the elevators in The Riverview Room we both knew this was the place! The views are simply stunning. Location is in the heart of the city and perfect! The food! I can't say enough about this place. The Riverview Room is a STUNNING, affordable venue, and even after a 3 Star review, I’m still very happy I picked it. The food is out of this world, and the staff that we booked with in May, 2016 (18 months before my wedding date) were incredible and so kind. However, for some odd reason, sometime in 2017 the venue did a complete overhaul of staff. The new staff was still very friendly, but the amount of times I was asked the same question was nerve wracking. The worst part was the venue’s wedding planner (who was very sweet) has no idea of my itinerary and kept asking me questions all day. I’m the bride! I honestly believe I wasn’t able to have as much fun on my wedding day because I was asked even the most basic of questions like how we were exiting the venue! I can’t lie, it was upsetting. I will say the staff was very in tune to taking care of me, bringing me food and drink whenever I had an empty hand. My guests had a fantastic time, and I had fun. But being a very type A bride who had her ducks in a row way before she needed too, I was disappointed. I do not wish to deter anyone from using this stunning, fun venue. It is worth it. But I strongly suggest you hire a wedding planner (I hadn’t) or designate a friend as the point person to the staff. And keep every detail discussed in writing.

The spectacular venue overlooks the French Quarter and the mighty Mississippi River. Their outside balconies and interior design with scenic window views showcase New Orleans charming ambiance. The delectable cuisine featured delicious New Orleans favorites such as chicken and andouille gumbo, shrimp and grits, crawfish enchiladas, and jambalaya. Katie and her amazing staff exceeded all of our expectations by providing authentic, warm southern hospitality with impeccable attention to details. Even more remarkable, this was all accomplished even after the reception had to be moved up several hours at the last minute due to Hurricane Nate. Their joyful spirit and their keen, accommodating contingency plans provided peace and joy to all. They were truly a shining rainbow above the storm clouds of the hurricane! Needless to say, we highly recommend the Riverview Room for an astonishing New Orleans-themed party event! “Laissez les bon temps rouler!” Yes, indeed the Riverview Room “Let the good times roll”!

The venue space is amazing and beautiful; however, the personnel were challenging. Our point of contact changed three times, the last change which occurred the week of our wedding, which was incredibly stressful given we planned our wedding from out of state. Despite reviewing all the details each time, including days before the wedding, there were many details missed. Additionally, the attendants had no clue of the itinerary and asked me, the bride, multiple questions about when to do what until my amazing photographer finally took over and ran the show. The one thing I requested was to assist with my family getting cabs at the end of the night since all of our items needed to be out of the venue. They didn't unfortunately and ultimately my uncle had to go back to the hotel to drive his car over and load up the boxes. When we followed up with the venue they nicely objected to everything which was again, frustrating. If you really love the space I would suggest booking only if you have a wedding planner. With a breathtaking view of the river on one side, and gorgeous ceremony site on the rooftop of the other side, you can not go wrong when choosing this place for rich New Orleans culture. The owners are wonderful people that know food well, and it shows through their choice options in their packages. The service is second to none and dealing with the ladies leading up to your event will be a pleasurable experience. As a local wedding planner, I always recommend the River View Room to my brides that want the perfect inner city wedding.

The Riverview Room's staff, especially Melanie from booking to tastings to the wedding day were so helpful. They went above and beyond taking care of us on our wedding day and we are still talking about it. Every time we turned around our attendants had another drink in our hand. We couldn’t have had better service if we had asked for it. My personal attendant, Cherie, was a life saver. When we were trying to do my bustle we didn’t know what we were doing but she stepped right in and did it all in a blink of an eye. She was AMAZING!!! Our attendants made the night such a breeze and totally stress free. As far as the Riverview Room, where do I start. Everything was perfect from set up to the second line. My family and friends would not stop raving about the food and the bar service. We never had a line anywhere and there was plenty of food and places for people to sit. Everyone enjoyed the balconies and it was the perfect size for our wedding (about 250 people). When it came time for the second line the escalators were ready to go and the whole transition was flawless. I want to get married again so I can use the Riverview Room another time.

I wish I could give more stars. The venue and staff at Riverview Room were so much better than I could have ever hoped for. If you are looking for a ceremony and reception venue, this is your place! Melanie is the greatest thing that could have ever happened to our wedding. The space is absolutely gorgeous plus the incredible view in the evening, it is all fantastic! The venue provides an open bar and full buffet for the entire time, and I cannot rave enough about the food. Neither can the guests because they are still talking about every chance they get. Three words: mashed potato bar. So much yes. Planning from across the county, I was really nervous about timing and how to get everything together and have it match. Not only do they provide pretty much anything you would need, but they are experts at setting it up for you, and will coordinate and contact your vendors for you! Any vendor you would like. They are so flexible and will tailor the entire evening to anything you want and, most importantly, have excellent recommendations on where to put stuff, which is awesome because I am a horrible party planner. I cannot stress enough how incredible this venue was for the rooftop ceremony and also the reception. Everything was flawless and you feel like you are their only event. Melanie & Felicia are the team to make your wedding happen with 0% stress, I absolutely love them and am so grateful for their help and overall awesomeness.

A little over a year ago my daughter became engaged. Fresh out of law school and starting new jobs they did not have much free time to plan a wedding. I volunteered to help but I live out of town and the kids knew they wanted a New Orleans wedding. After reading reviews from the different wedding websites, we made our appointments to visit venues. The Riverview Room was the last on our list and that visit clinched it for my daughter. From that day forward, Mary was a breeze to work with. My daughter was what I call the “anti-bride”. She explained to Mary that she was very pragmatic and did not put much emphasis on any of the typical bridal things but what she truly wanted was a great party, with excellent food, a warm ambiance and a band to dance the night away. Mary helped us through every step of the process and this past Labor Day weekend, we had one incredible wedding! Thank you Mary and staff of the Riverview Room, everything was awesome. Our friends and family are still raving that it was the best wedding ever!

Hands down the greatest venue to work with. 1. The pictures came out amazing because of how beautiful the space is! 2. The food is so delicious! 3. The staff from top to bottom are beyond awesome. They handled everything so beautifully. I attempted to do the flowers myself but totally got in over my head and they took care of everything for me. They dealt with my other vendors, and let me have a snoball stand on the back balcony too! These ladies are so easy to work with and so wonderful too! 4. Did I mention the venue is gorgeous so my pictures too?! 5. There is so much room for dancing and getting down without being packed together. I am so happy I picked this venue.

I am so happy I had the team from the Riverview Room by my side the day of my wedding! Melanie was there for me through every process from start to finish. She answered every question I had quickly, was always available to do multiple showings with my family, and executed the night of my wedding to perfection! I went in the day before and dropped off all of my decorations with little to no guidance. Luckily, Melanie and her team knew exactly where to put my flowers, guestbook, 1000 pictures, linens, and centerpieces. The place looked flawless and I got so many compliments on how beautiful the setup was! Melanie and her team contacted all of my vendors and worked out drop off times...I didn't even have to do that! I also feel like I should mention Cherie because she was a breath of fresh air. She handled last minute details, always made sure we had drinks in our hands, we were fed, and I was where I needed to be when I needed to be there. I had told her before I wanted to get everything knocked out quick and she did a great job at making sure that happened. I got a whole hour and a half of dancing because of that! Our guests still rave about the alcohol (generous pourers!) and food! Cherie coordinated the send off to perfection as well!! She sent us home with food and well wishes! I can't thank her enough! We knew we would go over our number and were prepared to get a check by the end of the night but with all the chaos going on, they allowed us to come in the next day and pay for the rest of our payment. They didn't hound us for it and not let us leave the night of. That speaks volumes at how genuine and caring the staff is. I can't thank the Riverview Room enough for executing such a special night to perfection. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!
