After my wedding I got so many compliments on how well I planned everything. But honestly, I had nothing to do with me. The single best move I made was hire Robert Ryan Catering. They did everything to make the day go like clockwork. I did nothing but enjoy myself. I honestly cannot rate this company and it’s staff highly enough. Worth every penny.

5-star service and experience with Robert Ryan Catering & Design! I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding day. They managed our wedding at the High Point seamlessly, efficiently, and beautifully. Huge props to Leigh, our event coordinator, and Natalie, our day-of coordinator, for being so exceptional and amazing! They really made our day special and accommodated everything that we asked for. The service and support from the company is superb and the food is amazing!

For our wedding at Barn on Bridge in October, the food from Robert Ryan Catering was amazing! We received so many compliments, including many guests who said it was the best food they’d ever eaten at a wedding. The steak and chicken options were both perfectly cooked, the hor d’oeuvres were creative, beautifully presented, and delicious!

On July 24, 2021 Philander Chase Knox, Robert Ryan's romantically scenic venue was the setting for a most magical night. Expertly led by our Day-of-Coordinator, Marjorie, and assisted by Day-of-Coordinator Trainee, Jalissa, and a team of servers, our daughter's and son-in-law's entire wedding and reception ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations. Marjorie's calm and efficient manner allowed us to enjoy the celebration from beginning to end. Both she and Jalissa were attentive, but unobtrusive. They were kind, patient, informative, and so very sweet! The servers, bartenders, and valets were very pleasant and attended to anything our guests might need. The food was so delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented by the chef and assistants. Compliments abounded from our guests. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Leah, our first contact at Robert Ryan and our dedicated guide throughout the planning. She was responsive and handled our requests with ease. Thank you to the entire team for a most memorable wedding celebration. We are truly grateful!

We are so lucky to have booked Robert Ryan catering for our private backyard wedding. We had to postpone our wedding a year because of covid, and they we’re so caring and accommodating every step of the way. They worked with us to make every little detail fantastic. The cake was included, they made separate additional appetizers gluten free, they came to the venue several times to help us coordinate the day, the service was excellent, the food was next level delicious, I could go on and on. If you’re unsure of who to book for your big event or big day, please give this company a call they helped our totally DIY wedding dream come true. Mark and Leigh were fantastic and we can’t thank them enough.

I had my wedding at Barn on Bridge and the food was amazing!! So many compliments from my guests too! Food was important and bad food at a wedding is embarrassing. You can’t go wrong with Robert Ryan Catering! Highly recommended!

Robert Ryan at the Philander Chase Knox Estate was the best decision we made!! Leigh and the team are the most responsive, professional, and kindest staff we've ever encountered. They made the entire process so easy on us and were so patient as we asked hundreds of questions through out the entire process. They are the best of the best. The planning process was seamless and the entire wedding was a dream. Luke, our day of coordinator, was amazing!! He and the entire crew were so attentive to every guest and always made sure we had water, drinks, food, etc. We loved every part of our experience and we wouldn't have changed a thing!!! Highlights: Leigh - she is phenomenal and so helpful/responsive!! Luke & day of staff- the SWEETEST group of people (there was a medical emergency of one of our guests and they handled it so calmly and made sure the entire night still went smoothly) The food! - we loved it!! Especially the manicotti and all of the hors d'oeuvres The venue - so accommodating!! PCK was the most perfect venue even on a rainy evening in a pandemic We would choose this venue all over again!

Robert Ryan was wonderful to work with! They were incredibly flexible and understanding considering we needed to change our plans due to the pandemic. Originally we were supposed to get married at Philander Chase Knox Estate which is beautiful, but Leigh and Mark were able to take the vision we had and transfer it to our backyard! Leigh and Mark were very responsive during the process of moving the wedding to our backyard. Our day of coordinator, Luke, Chef, Danny, and the whole team did an amazing job! The food was outstanding and our wedding was absolutely perfect! Robert Ryan's staff is extremely professional and easy to work with no matter what your venue!

Robert Ryan, and Leigh at Philander, have been a dream to work with. In a truly uncertain year, my fiance and I hear MILLIONS of horror stories - venues refusing a reschedule due to a global pandemic, or asking for additional fees to cover said reschedule. It's truly insane to us how what is expected to be the most special day of your relationship, there are so many vendors out there just trying to make a buck. Robert Ryan is not one of them. They care, they listen, they offer advice without being pushy, and they provide their honest opinion. Leigh has been immeasurable and I wish every bride and groom had someone to her caliber. We are so excited to celebrate our one year anniversary with Robert Ryan and have the venue of our dreams come to fruition. Thank you!

Robert Ryan Catering has a great selection of venues they work out of (we chose the High Point in Malvern), but more importantly, they have been a great resource to us through the entire process of planning our wedding. We had to unfortunately postpone our early May wedding until October due to the coronavirus outbreak and were very worried that we were going to lose a lot of money in the process, but RR has been amazing and so accommodating through this whole experience! We know that no matter when we finally get to say "I do," we are going to have the wedding of our dreams thanks to this team - Leigh in particular!

Robert Ryan Catering is one of the premier catering companies in the Greater Philadelphia area. Knowing this – we didn’t think it would be remotely possible that we would have an opportunity to use them for our wedding based on our catering budget.... Then we met with KT Mallory and Mark Ryan. We explained our vision and made it very clear that we wanted to work with them but that we had a rather tight budget. RRC listened. They listened and then came back to us with suggestions on how we could make the day work within our budget. I had worked for RRC for more than 7 years back in high school and college and knew that they were the real deal. Being on this side of the table was such a wonderful experience. KT really listened and was always available for a quick email, call or text to discuss something for our wedding. She offered great insights on non-catering items as well and we couldn’t be more impressed with how she handled all of our needs and requests throughout the process. It was truly wonderful working with her and we’re so pleased with the service they provided. Danny Salazar was amazing in the kitchen with his staff. He worked with our menu requests – including those guests with allergies and food restrictions – beautifully and we received so many compliments on the food and service. Our day of coordinator, Luke, was equally amazing. He ran the show and assigned one of his senior staff - Jenny - to us for the night. We were never without a drink or a food request and they even listened closely to our request of pulling us aside every so often so that we could just sit back and take it all in. Lastly, Mark Ryan was awesome to collaborate with. We know he is a incredibly busy man but he made the time for us and personally came to assist with unloading our décor, setting up the space as well as attending each meeting we had to discuss the space and what our vision was. If you want to have the best wedding possible – work with Robert Ryan Catering. We couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you so much to each and every person that contributed to our wedding. I can't say enough good things about Robert Ryan Catering! KT was amazing in the lead up to our wedding, patiently answering every question I had. She and her team were so attentive and on top of everything on the day—they made sure we had everything we could possibly need and that everything went off without a hitch. And the food was incredible—our guests raved about it!

Robert Ryan was the catering company for The Philander Chase Knox Estate. One of the main reasons we chose this venue besides it being absolutely gorgeous was because of the coordinator. Leigh is absolutely amazing! PCK was our first stop the day we went looking and after that no other venue or coordinator compared. She made sure we felt comfortable from the get go and carried that throughout. The same feeling came through with our day of coordinator Lisa, she was great! Our bridal party was rather large and a lot to handle but it never seemed to phase her. She was calm, cool, and collected the whole time which definitely made me feel better. If there was something that was wrong, I never knew about it. I was able to enjoy our day without having to worry about a thing. The food was absolutely AMAZING! I was skeptical about wedding food in general as I feel it never tastes the same as it did the day of the tasting, but this was not the case. It was exquisite! The assortment of food you have to choose from is amazing, it's not your standard stuff and they keep it seasonal which is great. Thank you Leigh, Lisa, & Robert Ryan Caterers for making our day go off without a hitch! It was absolutely perfect!

My husband and I chose Robert Ryan to be our caterer for our wedding reception because we knew that they would execute the event with ease and grace from start to finish. We knew they had put on so many beautiful events throughout the company's existence. From the very start, our contacts; Madison and KT, from Robert Ryan were nothing but responsive, accommodating and the guidance they gave throughout the process were something we are so grateful for! The planning process did get a little frustrating at times specifically due to planning the final meeting. When it came time to finding out who our day-of coordinator was, Amber, It was difficult to compromise on a time to meet for our final meeting. We were planning the wedding from 7 hours away so we were only in PA for very limited amount of time. We were given one option and one option only and that was the only time she was able to meet with us the entire weekend. When it came to the final meeting as well as the day of the wedding reception, Amber definitely had an edge to her. It was something that towards the end of the night had started effecting a few of my wedding guests. We felt very rushed through every process overseen by Amber. Everything else about the afternoon/evening was absolutely PERFECT. Dinner was amazing, the presentation, the bar staff, the appetizers and the rest of the waitstaff. I do have to say that the one member of the waitstaff that solely took care of the bridal party, Hannah, was the most kind, helpful, accommodating and sweetest person that worked our wedding. She was awesome. She was always around to make sure we had what we needed. It was a perfect day we will never forget!

We had an amazing time having our ceremony and reception at Barn on Bridge! Our cocktail hour passed hors d'oeuvres were out of this world and every guest commented on how delicious the food was. They even made a pizza for my husband on our wedding day. They were accommodating to all the dietary needs that our guests had. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic and we would recommend Barn on Bridge and Robert Ryan Catering to anyone!

I highly recommend Robert Ryan Catering & Design for all of your catering needs! After booking our ceremony and reception at Appleford Estate in Villanova, we had to choose from their list of 6 approved caterers. As a couple of foodies, my fiancé and I knew that great food was one of the most important things we wanted on our wedding day. We needed a caterer that could not only deliver excellent service, but could also create a highly personalized menu that reflected our own tastes and make it delicious. Planning the wedding in Philadelphia from where we live in NC made things tough. Madison, our coordinator with RRC&D, was easily the most responsive representative of any of the catering companies we corresponded with via phone and email. Where other reps seemed to fall of the face of the earth for days at a time, Madison responded to even my tiniest of questions within a day most of the time, earning my trust that we would be a priority if we booked with Robert Ryan. She never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or that any of my requests were too outlandish. Their tasting was easily the most impressive out of the 4 we went to. They created the best menu from the list of things we said we really wanted to eat at our wedding. We got to meet not only Madison at our tasting, but also Danny, the Executive Chef, Luke, a member of their service staff, and Mark Ryan, the owner! I already expected great things from Madison after months of talking with her, but the warm professionalism from all of the others blew me, my fiancé, and our parents away. They are truly a united company where any member could accurately represent their core values. And you can tell they all love and take pride in what they do. After that, it really wasn't much of a contest. We booked them. The day of, Madison and her crew performed a flawless set up of all of my wedding decor, they walked us through the ceremony like the experienced pros they are, and everyone raved about the food, especially our sushi station! My mom commented how great Luke (we were so glad to see him again!) was at making her and my grandparents, who have mobility issues, feel so special and well cared for. Overall, in a business where you can so easily end up feeling taken advantage of and like you wasted your money, hiring Robert Ryan was probably the best investment we made for our wedding.

The Barn on Bridge was wonderful to work with! Tiffany was absolutely wonderful with helping us plan our event and answer any questions throughout our year of planning! She made the experience fun and exciting. Madison was great during the day of our wedding, as she was extremely organized and executed everything perfectly. We honestly could not have asked for a better venue and everything was perfect! The food was delicious and we had multiple guests rave about the filet mignon as our entree (as well as the sea bass). The servers/bartenders/chefs were extremely pleasant and ensured all the food came out delicious and in record time. I would not change a single thing that happened over the course of our planning process or wedding day. Thank you to everyone at The Barn on Bridge!

Robert Ryan Catering and The Columbia Station were amazing! We were incredibly happy with everything--our event coordinator and day of supervisor, the staff, the venue itself and the food! The venue is beautiful and everyone was extremely accommodating. Not to mention their prices are affordable, especially since so much is included!

The food was amazing. They were able to work around any food allergies or special requests we had. Our guest all gave us great feedback saying that everything was delicious. They did an excellent job! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs an event catered.

The Barn on Bridge was amazing! We booked over a year in advance and Tiffany helped us get to the big day from the beginning! Luke made sure the reception flowed smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better team not to mention such a beautiful venue, I wouldn't have changed a thing!! Best wedding food I ever had too!

The food for this catering company is incredible! Love that the options for hour devours were not the "typical" and everyone loved them! We even got the slider bar and late-night snack of philly cheese steaks and pretzels with fries and everyone was so impressed! Absolutely loved the food and service, would definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Robert Ryan and his entire team. From the first time we met Bob, I knew it would be an amazing experience. My husband and I live out of town, so the thought of planning a wedding from halfway across the country gave me quite a bit of anxiety. Bob Ryan and his team took that anxiety away 100%. Everyone was so easy to work with, and so responsive, it made wedding planning a breeze! Our event coordinator, Barbara, could not have been better to work with. She was so professional, and made me feel so at ease. The food was great, and their service was even better. The wedding venue was so beautiful - it almost took my breath away when I walked into the tent and saw what they had done. I would highly recommend Robert Ryan Catering to absolutely anyone.

Our wedding was such an amazing day thanks to Robert Ryan Catering and staff. We really could not have asked for more. Barbara, our wedding day coordinator, was amazing. We could not have done it without her. She was so sweet and easy going, but made sure everything went perfectly. I also could not say more about Wyatt. He was THE BEST! Anytime I needed anything, I turned around and he was there. We wish we could have Barbara and Wyatt around all the time! The entire staff was on top of everything. I would recommend Robert Ryan Catering to anyone. They just made the whole process so smooth and everything went perfectly!

My husband, family and I were completely satisfied with Robert Ryan Catering and the whole crew! We met Bob Ryan at our first consultation and knew that we would have a great experience with his company, and we were right. They were professional, easy to work with, and produced DELICIOUS food! Betsy, my contact throughout the planning, was very helpful and responsive. Everything came out just as I'd hoped. We had so many choices for hours d'oeuvres and were allowed 4 entree choices! Our guests loved the food and I was very happy with the service - plenty of servers to manage 165 guests. My husband and I even had one young man attending to our food and drink personally - a very convenient and personal touch. The day-of coordinators Barbara and Olivia (in training) were fantastic. They were on top of everything and made me a worry-free bride. I felt that the whole day was about the right thing - celebrating love - and they quietly took care of all the little details so my family and I had nothing to worry about. They treated us extremely well and I would recommend them to anyone who is considering Robert Ryan Catering and Design!!

We were so lucky to work with Bob Ryan and his team at Robert Ryan Catering. Everyone we worked with was professional, timely, and detail oriented! we had a few different point people over the year we were planning our wedding, but no detail was dropped or missed and I always felt like mine was their only wedding. Our day of coordinator, Michelle, was amazing. There is no need for a wedding coordinator in addition to your day of person. Everyone raved about the food at our wedding and when I went to visit tables, all I saw were empty plates!

Robert Ryan was the glue that held our wedding together! We had a short engagement (planned the wedding in less than six months) and also did all of our wedding work from several states away. We chose the Welkinweir estate (which Robert Ryan exclusively works with) for our venue and were excited to sign on with this company as part of the deal. Robert Ryan and his assistant Matt met with us the evening before Thanksgiving at Welkinweir to show us the place since that was the only time we were in town. Already impressive. They then were willing to negotiate a little with us on our price point so we were both happy with our contract - super appreciated. Matt was then our major touch point over the next few months and was very responsive to every question we had about the process. They made everything SO easy. It was great to know that all of the little stuff - lighting, a parking shuttle, linens, china, tables and chairs - were all taken care of through the company. Carrie then served as our day-of coordinator so we didn't have to worry about a single aspect of the wedding as it was unfolding but could instead just enjoy ourselves. Oh, and of course the food. Though I barely managed to eat anything that day, everyone else had clean plates and said they loved every bit of it. The company does a great job with creating some really delicious wedding food (which, let's face it, isn't that common) and will work with you to make sure every guest is happy. Any special requests from an exotic meat to a food allergy? They will take care of you! Overall, highly, highly, highly recommend signing on with Robert Ryan, doubly so if you can use one of their beautiful venues to boot. There's very little left to do with the wedding planning after that and the whole process becomes so much simpler. If you're in the Philly area, please use them!
