Rock & Roll Express Entertainment Company

We booked RRE for their ceremony package, officiant services, and ultimate reception package. RRE was incredible to work with from day one. They were one of the first vendors we reached out too for their entertainment services and truthfully after speaking with Jon, we didn’t need to continue our search. We knew we wanted them to be part of our day. Jon was in constant communication with us throughout the planning process. He made us feel like we had at least somewhat of an idea of what we were doing, planning wise. As COVID hit, we ultimately decided to postpone our wedding, like many others during this time. RRE was so kind and helpful while we navigated through that stressful time. We were very grateful for their understanding and flexibility. When we scheduled our new date, it was go time. We had many conversations to determine how we wanted the ceremony to go, what songs we wanted, what we did and did not want, etc. Another great aspect, was we had a few nontraditional elements and RRE was great to work with for such. Day of, the officiant was so very kind and even made the audience laugh a few times. It certainly helped to manage our nervousness. The DJ, Andy, was also incredibly fun. Weddings can already be difficult to get guests on the dance floor, plus given this weird time, it made it even harder. Andy’s personality and even getting on the dance floor himself made guests smile and have a good time! Everything RRE provided was more than what we could have asked for. We couldn’t be more thankful!

Rock & Roll went above and beyond to ensure that our big day was nothing short of spectacular! 3 weeks past, and we are STILL getting guests asking us what company we went with, because they were so impressed by Jeff (who married us) and Chris (DJ). We cannot thank you enough for how PERFECT it went! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very disappointed with our DJ, Andy Ouriel. Do not use him or you will be disappointed. The company did not allow for us to speak with the DJ prior to our reception. He was very unprofessional and did not take any request (even request from us, the bride and groom). He told me (the bride) that it’d take him hours to download the song we were asking for. We were told to provide him a list of songs we’d like to hear throughout the night. He ONLY played down that list, even after I asked him to mix it up. It got to the point were I had to find his boss, Jeff in the middle of my reception, to finally tell him something! He changed his attitude a little- but it was too late.

Booked this company for photobooth only. Had seen their work prior and loved it. Unfortunately for my event I was very disappointed. I felt like since I was only using a photobooth instead of other services I was pushed to the side for other events. I booked this company well in advance, paid my deposit well in advance, and had discussed what I wanted over the phone. I guess that was my biggest mistake with this company. When the wedding day came I had assumed everything was in order. The week before the wedding I was told I would get sent a mock up for our photobooth strip and did not receive it. I emailed and called the company with no response the Thursday before my wedding. The Friday I received a call back and got sent the artwork for the strip. I did not like it and attempted to call with no phone call back. When addressing my concerns through email after I was told they were " out of the office for other events". The day of the wedding the backdrop was not what I requested. It was just a white curtain. I requested over the phone a gold glitter backdrop. I had also requested no photo book to keep, I was told I had to receive it and I asked to not have guests sign the book so they would sign what I had planned instead. The book was still signed and my wine corks that I wanted guests to sign for a planned memory frame were never done. I unfortunately cannot get that back, and I am left with a book I did not want. When contacting the company in regards to my concerns I received again no phone call. I attempted to contact the company via email and stated my concerns. I received multiple emails being told everything we discussed over the phone was " not noted" and rudely told I could talk to a manager. I never said I wanted a refund, I simply said the services were unacceptable and very disappointing. Unfortunately my situation with this company was not ideal. I did not talk to a manger as I felt it would get me no where, the employee continued to state he did not recall our conversations. I was not asking for a refund, but a simple "yes I recall you requesting those things and I'm sorry" would have been nice. The service of their employees working the event was wonderful. The girls were kind and very enthusiastic with their work. I just wanted a sorry, but the integrity of their staff just wasn't there. If you plan on working with this company I only suggest writing out in an email what you would like so you have written proof and not end up disappointed as I did.

Rock & Roll Express was a great option for our wedding. They went with the flow of the wedding and were on top of keeping our reception moving. They were fun and listened to all my requests perfectly. Their organization prior to the wedding was impeccable. We loved filling out the wedding preference planning booklet and felt like the DJ kept our guests moving non-stop! Definitely recommend to any local Brides as the price was amazing!

The day before our wedding we were scheduled to come in at a certain time to 1058 to decorate. We sat outside 30 minutes because Jeff scheduled a tour and wouldn't answer his phone. When we got inside and started decorating he was still giving a tour to this couple. The day of our wedding our photographer who is a part of rock and roll express dj was horrible. I provided her with many photos of poses and ideas I wanted done for the pictures and she did none of them. She did not provide direction when it came to taking the pictures. And then we are on our way to the reception and we couldn't figure out how to get behind the building like they tell you to do. So we walk in and Jeff mentions how we are late and I said we had a hard time finding out how to get to the back of the building and he said "you didn't know where the building was?" Then we had a special dance that we were gunna do for our family in remembrance for a family member and Jeff played the song earlier during cake cutting and had to cut it off mid song. I immediately started crying and went to the bridal suit because nothing was going right. I'm in there collecting myself and all of a sudden our first dance song starts playing and we weren't told about it or even ready. The music we requested to be played at dinner was not played. We provided Jeff with a list of songs we wanted played throughout the night and he strayed from that and played a bunch of older music, I'm guessing from the 80's because I was not familiar with it. The whole day was a mess and I'm so disappointed I paid so much money for such terrible services.

Holy amazing. Loved working with Rock & Roll Express. They did such an awesome job at our reception that we extended it half hour longer so everyone could keep dancing! Very professional, but also very fun and friendly. If you're in the Sandusky, Ohio area, I highly recommend booking Rock & Roll Express.

Amazing entertainment AND photography! There truly is no one comparable to Rock and Roll Express in the Northwest Ohio area. Jeff was incredible to work with and made the planning process super easy. He offered us a package deal for entertainment, lighting and photography that was affordable. I told him I wanted a blackjack table, and he didn't have one, but he made it happen for me - it was a huge hit at the reception! The DJ entertainment was amazing, but I knew it would be. Our guests were generally an older group and I couldn't believe how much people were dancing. The total room uplighting completely transformed the otherwise dull banquet hall. The biggest surprise was how amazing Angile, our photographer, was. She made us feel comfortable and she was uber organized. She got us through our formals in under 20 minutes! I can not say enough about how our photos turned out, everyone I know raves about them! I will forever be appreciative of Angile for her expertise in capturing the most amazing day of our lives. If you are getting married in the Sandusky area, you do not need to look any further than Rock and Roll Express. They will make your special day absolutely unforgettable!

Jeff and his team were AMAZING! Jeff was so incredibly easy to work with, extremely responsive, and did a great job of getting everyone in the dance floor and keeping them entertained. So many people walked up to me at the wedding to tell me we had the best DJ and they were very impressed with him. He also did our lighting and did an amazing job with the twinkle lights at the tent and lighting outside. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ, especially with how many other services he can also provide.

Rock & Roll Express is awesome. They're affordable, and Jeff is so great to work with. They played a great variety of songs, and were so great about taking requests from our guests. They also did a lot of activities to engage the crowd (i.e. selfies with the bride & groom, glowsticks, t-shirts). Our guests had a great time, and we really enjoyed working with this company!

My package was great- the more you get the lower the price goes. I have DJ, uplifting, photo booth, photography and engagement session. Service was great and they worked with us very well.

Rock and Roll Express made preparing the music for our wedding super easy! First they sent us a book to fill out that had answers to all of our questions as well as suggestions for our big day. Next they actually sat down with us to go over every detail i.e. What we wanted, what we didn't want, time lines, pronunciation of everyone's names, etc. They thought of so many things we didn't! As far as the day of our wedding, I arrived to the venue to find the up lighting they did looking outstanding and our DJ kept people on the dance floor all night. He was so much fun! I would recommend Rock and Roll Express to anyone needing a DJ, up-lighting or photobooth! You won't be disappointed!
