The Rococo was a gorgeous venue! It was everything we dreamed of for our big day. Their team was very accommodating when we had to reschedule.
There was some miscommunication and ...
difficulty with basic items which is the only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars. At the end of the day, I wouldn't have rather held our reception anywhere else.
If you want a reception venue that will truly blow your guests away, pick Rococo Theater. It is an amazing place with great layout and decor. The downfall? You have to pay separate...
ly for lighting (they didnt tell us that before hand) and you can only have the venue for 10 hours. This may seem like a lot but you cannot set up the night before and we couldnt start setting up until 2 in the afternoon. I would recommend spending the extra money for more hours.
The Rococo was a great place for a reception. It is unique that it is a theatre and not a typical reception hall found in a hotel. It is close to many hotels and the downtown scene...
around it makes it an idea location. The staff was great to work with and extremely helpful. I would suggest this place to anyone. The food came from a caterer that they require you to use. Everything for food is done separately thought the caterer. All that was paid for with Rococo was the facility, alcohol, and a sound technician. Alcohol is slightly expensive but definitely not a deal breaker. We decided on a dollar limit to host to and when it ran out people paid for their own drinks.
We had many compliments on the unique setting and views at Rococo, but we were terribly disappointed with their customer service. The staff at Rococo completely let us down and we ...
felt they truly did not care about us at all...only about the bill. They missed several items and big details, did NOT carry through on what I had worked out with them beforehand. The boss/leader was horrible to us, lied on many occasions, overcharged us every way she could. The bar tenders were on their phones, I missed my bouquet toss bc she locked me out from balcony, they forgot about wristbands, were MIA on many key timeframes, etc. just to name a few. It was shocking at how rude they were when we tried to find solutions to issues. We will NEVER do business with them again unless there is different leadership.
Pam & the staff at the Rococo was amazing. Best place in Lincoln by far. Our wedding was a dream!
