Wandering Dago was an incredible joy to have cater our wedding. We were able to customize the entire menu and our guests are STILL talking about the food almost a month later! All I have to say is BOOK WITH THEM NOW and you will NOT be disappointed.
Wandering Dago helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Here is what was super great about them:
1. Andrea was very quick to respond to my initial request for a quote. We chatted on the phone and developed a completely custom (and super fun) menu. Taco bar and Mac and cheese bar with tons of vegetarian options.
2. Worked with us on ways to keep the costs down and within our tight budget. We were really trying to keep costs low but we really cared about having great food. We were given multiple tiered options in order to make it work.
3. Food the day of was delicious and there was plenty. No one went hungry, it was served on time, and my husband and I actually got to eat! The servers checked on us and brought us extra chips and guacamole so we could sit back and enjoy.
4. Handled every dietary restriction and allergy like a boss. We had pescatarians, vegetarians, vegans, multiple Celiacs disease, a severe tree nut allergy, and a peanut allergy. Every single one of them had plenty to eat and none of them got sick. This was soooo important to me and it meant a lot to those guests as well. Other places we looked into were waaay more hesitant to take on the allergies in particular. When we did our tasting I grilled the chef and it was clear he knew how to handle it.
5. Guests raved about how great the food and the servers were.
Overall, I would choose Wandering Dago again and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a unique and custom food experience.
We felt so confident in having Wandering Dago be part of our wedding day! They went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only was their food a big hit with everyone, they put their own beautiful touch to each food station. We highly recommend their service!
It's scary handing things over to a stranger and trusting them to help create one of the most memorable days of your life but there was no fear in dealing with Rogue Catering. From the initial tasting menu that was tailored to our world travels, to the actual event, they were on top of everything. And the things we would have never thought of, they brought to our attention in a calm and confident manner. On the day of the event, everything was exactly where it was meant to be, every server was attentive, hard-working and committed to the day and the food was delicious. There is so much that has to come together on a wedding day and Rogue Catering is experienced, professional and beyond capable in handling both big and small events. Thank you, guys!
Just Magical! Perfect in every way!!
Working with Rogue Catering and having the Wandering Dago food truck as our caterer for our wedding reception was just perfect in every way!! Andrea and her entire team made us feel like we were family and best friends from the first contact through every step and even now well after the wedding. The choices and fantastic quality of food is something only Rogue Catering can deliver with such excellence! My family and friends were so happy with our event food and even more so with the high touch and truly considerate service. I could not offer more high praise!! Definitely the event caterer you should go with!
We were extremely pleased with Wandering Dago from start to finish. First off they work with what you want they allowed us to customize our menu and made suggestions that were extremely helpful. We also loved the type of food it was different than your ordinary wedding but even more delicious!!!! All of our guests raves about the food, 3 weeks later people are still talking about it. Everything was amazing they also designed a lot of our spaces and dessert tables and it fit our theme and vision perfectly. The staff was attentive and made sure everyone had everything they needed. Hire them you will not regret it. There coordinator Katie was also extremely attentive and organized and was a great point of contact when I had any questions or concerns.
We have worked with Wandering Dago/ Rogue Hospitality on numerous occasions. They are always easy and great to work with, plus their food is always amazing and never fails to impress the guests! J
We can't say enough great things about Wandering Dago Co.They were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole planning process. The menu options were all so yummy, it was hard to narrow it down. The wedding day service was wonderful. They were very attentive to Pat and I making sure that our wedding day was stress free and enjoyable. The chicken and waffles, ceviche shooters, pork belly skewers and assorted meatballs as well as the mini beers at cocktail hour were a great way to get the party started. The food truck was a total hit at the wedding and our guests loved the late night tater tots and banana splits. We did family style entrees which was a great idea for our guests to try a little bit of everything. Andrea, Pat , Katie and the rest of the Wandering Dago team were very professional, helpful, and I would highly recommend them for your wedding.
Rogue Hospitality/Wandering Dago were a crucial part in making our wedding the best day ever (with the BEST food ever)! Katie, Andrea, and Pat were thorough and a joy to work with. From the initial phone call, Andrea ensured that the food and presentation would be personalized to our wedding style. We wanted to make sure that amazing food was the focus of our wedding and Wandering Dago DELIVERED - our guests are still telling us how incredible the food was (although we didn't get to eat much #bride&groomprobs)! Katie was super helpful and comforting throughout the entire wedding planning process. She came and did a walk through of the area where we would be having the wedding, offered ideas for decor that was within our budget, and was highly responsive (definitely knows her wedding stuff). Overall, we had a great wedding experience with Wandering Dago...the only thing that we wish had gone differently was the timing of dinner service, it seemed rushed. Nevertheless, Katie, Andrea, and Pat you were a pleasure to work with and we recommend you to ANYONE in need of catering!
I recently attended a wedding that the Wandering Dago catered. I cannot say enough about their service, food and hospitality. Everything from the beginning to end was perfect. I would recommend the Wandering Dago for any event you need a caterer for, not just a wedding. Just looking at their website shows they have so many options to chose from. Large or small, you will not have to worry if you have the Wandering Dago there at your event. Kudos for everyone who's involved with this company!!!
From the very beginning, Rouge Hospitality Group / Wandering Dago have played a crucial role in our wedding. Andrea, Katie, Pat and the whole team made us feel so comfortable and excited for our wedding. They ensured everything that needed to get done or be purchased was done and checked in with us regularly. My fiance (now husband) and I were looking for wedding food that was a little different that the food you'd expect and we found what we were looking for in Wandering Dago. They offer so many unique, fun and incredible food options (including a WAFFLE BAR) that there is no one else like them in the wedding business. Andrea puts so much love and hard work into this business and ensures all of her clients feel happy and full on their wedding day. She came to our venue walk through and helped us nail down a plan with a venue that is basically a blank slate and involves a TON of planning. Pat prepared our pre-wedding tasting that was out of this world and made us SO excited for what our guests would think at our wedding. We were right. Our family and friends have been non stop talking about the cocktail hour, main course and dessert food and had plates filled to the brim. The staff working the wedding was also beyond what we anticipated. All servers were accommodating and walked around with huge smiles on their faces. Katie Hamuka, their very own event manager, stepped up hugely on our wedding day when our own hired coordinator left early. She ensured the wedding events didn't miss a beat and everything ran smoothly with our guests and vendors so that we could enjoy our night we worked so hard to plan. They offer so much more than just incredible food. They are hands down THE COMPANY you want to work with and your guests to rave about for years to come. We could not me more appreciative and grateful for them and will yell their company's name from the rooftops! All the love to the entire team! Thank you endlessly for an amazing day!

Wandering Dago is literally the whole package. They are a team of the most helpful, hospitable, professional, and personable people we have ever met! The food they create is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and every guest will be coming up to you during your wedding to tell you this (we still have guests 5 days later messaging us about the food and friendly staff). We also decided to get a late night food truck with comfort food (wings, fries, and milkshakes) and it was the best way to wrap up the night. Andrea and Katie, were with us every step of the way to help plan our day and were at our sides to make sure were always well fed and had something to drink. If you are looking for the best caterering company for your wedding you MUST go with Wandering Dago - I promise you, you will not find a better team out there!! Love, Kelley and Jason Payne #PopChamPayne
We consulted with Andrea about catering our wedding upstate. She was extremely responsive and informative. She was able to turn around an estimate for us in a one day, due to time constraint. In the end, we went with a caterer that has worked with our venue frequently. Andrea was extremely gracious and is a joy to work with.
We used Wandering Dago for our Rehearsal Dinner and the truck was was a hit!!! Our guests loved the fun vibe of a food truck for the event. And better- than the uniqueness- was the fact that the food was AMAZING!!! The food was not the standard food truck food you would think of- and the menu was developed to what my husband and I wanted. Wandering Dago worked with us to get the perfect menu- even offering suggestions that previous guests have loved. Wandering Dago responded fast with quotes and developing a menu. Day of the event- the service was super friendly and made all our guests feel great with the service and food quality. If you are looking for something that your guests will remember- both the food truck AND the food quality- this is your vendor!!! Thanks again Wandering Dago for a fabulous rehearsal dinner that our guests are still talking about!!! -Kristen & Fred
Andrea and her team were amazing. They made sure our needs and wants were satisfied from the first time we met right until the last guest was served at the wedding. The food was absolutely fabulous. Each of the staff took time and patience with our guest's special needs and request. We itially informed them that we had no guest with allergies and were able to adjust the day of the wedding to make sure the 2 guest with allergies were able to enjoy the day worry free. They took extra care of our Moms, and made sure that we (the brides) had time to eat during the day. The chef and cooking crew did an outrageous job with the menu and the food prep. We can not thank the entire staff enough for making our wedding day the most special and amazing day of our lives.
The Wandering Dago/Rouge Catering were amazing. The experience that we had with Andrea and her team was everything we could have hope for and then some. Our Wedding was unique in a few ways- our military service kept us 1500 miles apart while planning the big day. But that was no issue for Wandering Dago. Andrea and her team kept up with us through email, meet-ups, or phone conversations to understand what our vision was. From the attention to detail, to the schedule, to the support, to the incredible food...they NAILED it. Even in the final hour, without much guidance from the bride and groom due to our unavailability- Andrea and her team executed our vision with no issue. The food was amazing and we had staff members feeding us every chance they got. They really cared that we enjoyed out wedding day. If you want your wedding to be a success...HIRE THEM! You will always remember the great experience you have with Andrea and her team.
Wandering Dago catered my sons rehearsal dinner at the Mansion at Cedar Hill this October. Andrea & Pat helped customize a menu to accommodate our vegan bride. We had our tasting a year ago and it was so good we couldn’t wait for the actual day! They are more than a food truck. The set up and service was as good as the food. I would recommend WD!
Wandering dago catered my wedding in July this past summer and they were absolutely phenomenal! They worked their butts off all day making sure everything was perfect! Not only did they serve about 250 guests from appetizers to dessert but they served the main course right from the truck, keeping the line to a minimum. The food was so delicious and the tater tot bar, talk about AMAZING! Guests talked about those tater tots for weeks! They also made sure that my husband and I got to enjoy the food as well, which we thoroughly did! Lastly they made delicious homemade ice cream sandwiches for dessert and let us take pictures in the truck! We had such a blast on our wedding day and wandering dago was a huge part of the reason we did!
Wandering Dago served amazing food for us the night before our wedding. Friends and family were impressed, we got rave reviews. The food is more than we expected from a food truck, top notch!
Wandering Dago is awesome! We worked with Andrea, Pat, the Head Chef, and her staff for over a year to plan a custom menu for our wedding and everything turned out amazing. From the incorporation of my grandmother's chicken soup recipe into matzo ball soup shooters, and pulled pork stuffed hush puppies to honor my wife's home state of Oklahaoma, the attention to details reflecting our values and family traditions made the evening truly wonderful, and of course, delicious.
The service staff were great and extremely attentive to us and our guests. My wife and I never found ourselves with an empty glass. We topped the evening off with a late night food truck that served a variety of nommy munchies, the perfect ending to a long night of drinking, dancing, and celebrating. Andrea and Pat were even kind enough to deliver what was left of the beer to our after hours bonfire and to hang out a bit before saying goodnight. Everything was executed to perfection; our event was a huge success and we're incredibly grateful for their efforts.
Andrea,
How time flies! I just wanted to send you a somewhat belated thank you for your role in making Becca and Dustin's wedding and reception such a smash success. Your sage and creative counsel from the very beginning not only created a logistical framework which resulted in an incredibly smooth-flowing event, but you also helped us all organize our own thoughts and develop a plan that from our perspective, was executed to near perfection. Your food was delicious and drew raves from the multitudes, the service was efficient and thorough, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. Again, many thanks for everything!
Steve
We had Wandering Dago cater our rehearsal dinner, and it was fantastic. The team had us come in and taste the food during the initial planning stages, and we were very happy to see that all of the food turned out just as good as our taste test. They brought the truck right up to the venue's outdoor seating area and provided passed apps and a buffet. They wrapped up the night with milk shakes out of the truck, even providing a vegan option for me and a few others. Overall, they were a great team with plenty of delicious food options.
Had the wandering dago crew for our wedding. They were professional and easy to work with from the beginning of our booking. On the wedding day they went above and beyond what we expected from a wedding caterer. Don't hesitate to book them.
The food was fantastic, like really really good. Food displays and signing were a bit of a let down on the stationed appetizers and desert, but by no means poor. The appetizers could have fit on one 10ft table instead of two, it looked a little empty. We had a donut tower cake, was disappointed the staff put this together on the table during the reception, kind of took away from the wow factor.
The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered to keep the outdoor fireplaces going during the ceremony as it was very cold out and took care of lighting all the candles in the reception. They made sure not only the bride and groom but all guests were taken care of and happy throughout the evening.
Pricing was a little more than we wanted to originally spend but was definitely well worth the splurge, our guests can't stop talking about how good the food was!
We chose Wandering Dago to cater our wedding for a number of reasons. We wanted food and atmosphere that was laid back but also classy. We also wanted to create our own menu and only pay for the food we really wanted - for example, we didn't have a cake. We also liked that their catering was based out of a food truck. It allowed for them to easily travel to a barn in the middle of no where and create a fun funky vibe. Our wedding, in part due to Wandering Dago, was an absolutely perfect day. We felt completely taken care of and listened to and we trusted that everything was running smoothly. Our guests RAVED about the food - and for good reason - it was phenomenal. If you want a catering company who is personal, put together, fun and makes incredible food -- Wandering Dago is a smart choice.
Wandering Dago was excellent!!! My wife and I had Wandering Dago cater our wedding and it was everything we could've asked for and more! Personalizing our menu to exactly what we wanted was awesome. The service was very friendly yet super professional, very easy to talk to and always happy to help. Anything we needed they were immediately on top of it. They even went above and beyond and set up personalized signs at the ceremony that looked great as you first arrived. The food was THE BEST! There literally wasn't one thing that I didn't love! Everybody raved about the food for weeks! Though I'm selfish and I don't want others to have a wedding as good as mine, I will tell you that one of the best things that people loved from our wedding was Wandering Dago's late night menu. At the end of the night when everyone has been "Partying" for awhile our guests could get Grilled Cheeses, tater tots and milkshakes from the late night food truck. It was awesome! Everyone loved it so much, really added a fun little extra aspect to the wedding. I absolutely recommend Wandering Dago!
We initially chose Wandering Dago because of the ability to custom make a menu and some really great food of theirs we tried at a wedding expo. We were not interested in the standard catered wedding food and their example menus were amazing. We were able to create a fantastic menu of foods we loved (Tacos and Thai street noodles!). Also, even though we thought they were just a food truck, they do full catering, including all the utensils, plates, and cups, so we didn’t have to worry about any of that and no worries about a line waiting at the truck.
Andrea was super helpful with suggestions (food and overall wedding ideas) and always seemed super happy and excited to work with us (this was NOT the case with our wedding planner which is why it stuck out extra). The whole staff the day of the wedding was amazing. They were able to go pick up our donut favors from the shop on the venue site so we didn’t have to worry about it, they provided a little tray of the pre-wedding snacks (cheese tray, etc.) to the bridal party who was hidden inside, and they were SUPER helpful during clean up. And they even signed our guestbook photo and gave us a little gift!
The quality of the food was also amazing (my coworker literally just said, “those tacos were so good” when I said I was writing a review). We did hear a few people say the noodles ran out, but never confirmed if this was true, and there was plenty of the other food options. And everyone LOVED the ice cream sandwiches served from the truck. They also were really good about dealing with a number of food allergies we had present at the wedding.
Our one con was that we did book them really early before our wedding and we had some communication issues as they were going through some internal issues relating to a previous business partner. But these issues resolved and they were really really great leading up to the wedding and the day of.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer for any type of event!
We could not be happier with our choice to work with and have the Wandering Dago cater our rustic farm wedding in Johnsonville, NY. We originally chose the Wandering Dago because of our ability to create our own custom menu, which Andrea and her team were amazing at helping us develop to perfection! They even recreated our favorite appetizer, Thai popcorn chicken, from a restaurant we love at home. Leading up to the wedding, we were able to have a private food tasting of our menu and the most helpful brainstorming session at our wedding site with Andrea. We had approximately 135 guests at our wedding and everyone was raving about the food and variety of choices offered at our food stations. The signage, décor and set up of our Harvest table and food stations were exactly what I was dreaming of! The Wandering Dago team even spontaneously created the most beautiful dessert set up with our choice for mini cupcakes and mini pies (See photos). During the wedding, the wedding staff was attentive and friendly to our guests. We also chose the Wandering Dago’s sister company, Rogue Event Staffing, to bartend our wedding. We were so pleased with our custom signature drink menu, quality of the drinks and signage/décor they created for us. The Wandering Dago’s services were beyond our expectations for a caterer and we would choose them over and over again!
We chose Wandering Dago to cater our wedding because the tasting we had with them was hands down the most delicious and most memorable. We were not disappointed with the food or service the day of our wedding and Andrea was kind enough to drop off some of the desserts after our wedding that we didn't get a chance to have. Andrea can be a bit slow to respond over email, but, calling/texting should work and all in all we were really pleased with how everything turned out. The cocktail apps were my fave (especially those rice balls, still dreaming about them), and everything served at the wedding was delicious. We haven't heard any of our guests say otherwise. And even though Andrea can sometimes be a bit flakey (although to her defense, she is likely understaffed and just needs to hire an admin), she came through for us with everything and that's all that matters in the end. Definitely recommend due to the quality and taste of all the food, Chef Pat is awesome!
Here's the most important thing about Wandering Dago: Their food is delicious and everyone will continue talking about it long after the wedding. I am always skeptical reading reviews that say this... but I am now a believer. The 100+ guests that came to our wedding are easily the harshest food critics I know, and almost all of them raved about the food. People are still talking about the skewers during cocktail hour weeks after the wedding. People are also talking about the personality and creativity Wandering Dago helped infuse into our wedding. From the pho in a cup to the late night wings/tots/milkshakes, Wandering Dago truly help your wedding turn into a memorable night!. Andrea, Pat and the whole team make sure everything is going smoothly from the second they step on till the minute they leave the property.
Leading up to the wedding, I had my concerns given 1 or 2 of the other aggressively negative reviews. Andrea explained Wandering Dago's side of the story with a calm and genuine demeanor, and she backed it up by going above and beyond for us and our guests on our wedding day. Wandering Dago publicly responded that they will let their other reviews speak for itself. So as another reviewer, you can take it from me... that there should be no concerns.
The one constructive criticism I have is they are a little slow to respond over email, which at the very least a little annoying. But don't take it personally. Try to call or text and you should be able to get a response much much faster.
Here's the long and the short of it: The food is great and the service was great. While there were some concerns along the road re: other reviews & communication, none of those worries became of anything. Andrea's promise still came through: they will provide delicious food with a touch of creativity and personality.
Unorganized and unresponsive are the two words I'd use to describe my experience with Wandering Dago. Andrea was pleasant to deal with at first but she was always slow to respond to emails and also confused us with other customers which led her to misquote our estimate significantly. Ultimately her price was too expensive for our wedding dinner but we still wanted to use Wandering Dago for the Friday Night dinner because we'd heard generally positive things. When communicating about that event Andrea became even less responsive (I assume because we weren't spending as much money and so she de-prioritized us) to the point where I'd sent her 3 emails trying to confirm a final price and she never responded.
Normally I wouldn't leave a review but this was the most frustrating part of our wedding planning and wanted to make sure others are prepared to deal with an unorganized company and weigh that knowledge with the supposed good food.
NOTE (after we left a review, we learned that Andrea had a family emergency during or planning and so this may have been an uncharacteristic experience): We didn't know this until after we decided to choose another vendor due to lack of response but feel that information is helpful.
THIS COMPANY IS BEING REPORTED TO THE BBB.
We chose WD in 2016 for our 2017 wedding based upon interactions we had had with Brandon. After months of consultations with him about our menu, we signed a contract with WD and placed a deposit of almost $6k. First mistake was not insisting that Brandon was named as being the cook on our wedding day.
In Dec 2016, we receive an email from Brandon that seemed unlike him (in language and tone). Andrea Loguidice, who is purportedly in charge calls us for the first time in our dealings with WD and informs us he is no longer with the company. In that very first conversation, I bring up the email we had received hours before from this employee who she claims is no longer with the company. I have since confirmed that Brandon did NOT send us the email. I have been given the brushoff multiple times regarding this matter since then.
It became clear to us that Andrea was not telling us the truth. She is a lawyer, so she is careful to ensure that her interactions are within legal bounds, but our interactions with her have let to feelings of anxiety, and doubt, as well as stress that has affected a chronic medical condition from which I suffer. We didn't feel comfortable that she would be in charge of the menu (which we had only previously discussed with Brandon) or our big day. This is the day we are choosing to stand before our friends/family and commit to sharing a path in life built on honesty, openness, and trust. If we stayed with Wandering Dago, we would be dealing with a person who we feel has shown no regard for any of these principles when dealing with us. We asked for a return of our deposit so that we could seek/book another caterer as we felt as though this was not a good fit. At this point, nothing but the menu planning had taken place. No tasting, not even an in-person meeting.
When we asked for a return of the deposit, we received a response that felt very condescending and cited legalities that would bar my ability to procure a refund of my deposit. She also told me that there is no reason I should feel uneasy about this company catering our wedding.
In the past 6 wks I have sent a number of emails to attempt to resolve this situation. During that entire time we refrained from discussing this situation on social media in attempts to resolve this without ill will. We even offered to accept a partial refund of $3,500 in recognition that the company should be paid for the services that they had provided so far (namely, the phone calls with Brandon to secure our menu).
During that 6 weeks, she has sent 4 responses, one of which was a response over 2 weeks after my inquiry which stated she had been helping someone move and would get back to me the next week (which by the way, she never did). If she didn't think we had a reason to feel uneasy before, this really does not help. We are 8 months away from our wedding, without having had a tasting and without timely responses!
Andrea, who is in charge of Wandering Dago, has shown us that being an honest person is not high on her list of priorities. The former Wandering Dago seems to have been a wild success. However, it is our opinion, that it is no longer the same company, and under the direction of Andrea Loguidice, it is exactly the opposite of what we would want from a wedding caterer.
I love everything about Wandering Dago! When planning our August 2016 wedding in Beacon,NY, I knew I wanted unique and good food. After buying my dress, it was the first thing I started researching and booked. I didn't want to have typical wedding food or purchase packages with limited options. After endless googling, I somehow came across Wandering Dago. After checking out their website and reviews, I was in love. It was everything I wanted.
I had a call with Brandon shortly after and knew we were a good fit right away. He was very easy to talk to, passionate and very helpful. After bouncing back and forth with ideas, we finalized an amazing menu that represented my Thai and Puerto Rican heritage and my husbands pescatarian diet. I was able to choose things I saw on their website and sample menus they sent me. I was also able to choose my own things ! We had a cocktail hour with shrimp ceviche , mini fried chicken & waffles with sriracha maple syrup, bacon wrapped meatballs, a Thai street noodle bar, and Thai spring rolls. We had a family style dinner with mofongo, salmon, chipotle chicken, Puerto Rican shredded pork, hipster salad, and an orzo dish. To end the night, we had an ice cream sandwich truck for guests outside.
I always heard that the bride and groom don't eat at the wedding because they're just so busy. But I was determined to eat everything ... unfortunately, that didn't happen hahahha. I managed to shove a bacon wrapped meatball, shrimp ceviche and a spring roll in my mouth during cocktail hour. I also managed to have a few bites of salad during the speeches. After that , I was too busy dancing and drinking the night away. I woke up sad, knowing that I didn't eat everything I waited almost a year to eat! But I do remember everyone raving about the food during and after the wedding. "Best wedding food ever!", "the chicken and waffles are my favorite!", "oh my god u have a Thai noodle bar?", "the ice cream sandwich truck was the best!" Were just a few comments. I was so pleased.
Brandon and Andrea were a pleasure to work with during the very stressful wedding process. Very responsive and helpful. They recommended a cake company (Hudson Cake Studio) and even recommended a bartending company last minute. the people they recommended were the best (especially Scott from the bartending company they referred me to haha) !
What topped it all off was the fact that the WD staff found our rose quartz crystal that was passed around during our ceremony. It was left on our sweetheart table and we sadly forgot it. I was devastated and couldn't find it when we went back to the venue the next day. But thankfully, the WD staff found it when they were cleaning up after dinner. They assumed it wasn't trash and kept it just in case! It was safely and quickly delivered to us ... what a treat to come back to after our honeymoon.
Go with Wandering Dago... you won't regret it.
:)
Andrea and Brandon are enormously flexible, thoughtful, and competent caterers. Our needs were met effectively during the planning process, from accommodating menu and beverage specifications to confirming layouts and timing for day-of events. Andrea's knowledge of our venue also came in handy for planning items totally unrelated to catering, which was an unexpected plus. Andrea and Brandon also worked closely with us to accommodate our budget without sacrificing our vision (make sure to be utterly clear about all contractual terms before signing). As for the wedding day, Wandering Dago really killed it -- the food was amazing (our guests were drooling over it), the staff were professional, but also friendly (which really fit our classy, casual vibe), and Andrea was a superstar point-person (she was calm, comprehensive, punctual, and seriously attentive to my wife and I during the entire event). We highly recommend them!
Give them a call and talk to them about what you are looking for and the things you like. They are super accommodating and make the day really personal to you as a couple. I have already recommended them to others. All of the guests have said numerous times that our wedding was one of the best they attended with the best food. We highly recommend them for your event!
Andrea and Brandon of Wandering Dago met and exceeded our expectations on our big day, and the months leading up to it.
From the get-go they were extremely helpful and most importantly patient. They welcomed us to their home for the tasting and meet & greet. Once we decided what we wanted to include on our menu(s), they assisted us with budgeting and logistics and even coordinated with the other vendors to ensure everything went off without a hitch.
The wedding was executed perfectly. Everything was prepared behind the scenes, so well that I barely noticed their presence. The food was delicious and our menu was diverse, something for everyone.
After everything was said and done, we received a custom 'welcome to the family' cutting board from Andrew and Brandon as a thank you gift.
Our experience working together was as positive as it gets. I would certainly recommend their services to friends and loved ones.
Thank you Wandering Dago!
From our initial planning, up to the big day Wandering Dago was extremely helpful with making our wedding the best it could possibly be. Our wedding took place on a picturesque farm in the Catskill Mountains that required us to bring everything on-site and plan every detail. Andrea and Brandon worked tirelessly to sculpt a menu that fit within our budget, was unique, and most importantly, delicious! Throughout the entire planning process Wandering Dago made sure all of our rentals were covered, working directly with the vendors, and ensuring that no detail was missed. I myself was skeptical that a plated 3 course meal for 150 people could be served hot and have the quality maintained, all from a mobile food truck, but Wandering Dago calmed my fears and exceeded our expectations. The food was phenomenal and our guests were very impressed with the exquisite taste and presentation of the meal. To top it off, the late-night menu served out of the food truck was a memorable addition that we highly recommend! Food is an essential part to your wedding and is something that your guests will appreciate and remember. Wandering Dago has you covered with their professional staff, expert planning, and superb food!
We cannot say enough great things about Andrea & Brandon and Wandering Dago Catering & Food Truck. We worked with them for almost a year & our wedding food exceeded all expectations. From incorporating menu items from both of our sides (Minnesota groom & Venezuela-born bride), to customizing desserts (A&W root beer floats instead of wedding cake), we couldn't be happier. In addition, Andrea & Brandon even incorporated an old family seasoning from the groom's family in to the food preparation (flown to Wandering Dago the week before the wedding) - a special surprise for all of our guests, especially for our groom's family. Every single item was delicious but also, they were so genuine and excited with us throughout our whole experience, not only during our wedding but in all of the months leading up to Sept 17th. Our wedding was a very hard-fought day with tons of unexpected obstacles over the 9 months prior, but Andrea & Brandon were calm, helpful and encouraging throughout. We wanted a laid back but unique and delicious food experience, and they delivered more than we could have ever asked for. They are wonderful caterers, great people and we're so happy to be a part of the Wandering Dago family now, as they're part of our MN/Venezuela/NJ family. Thank you so much! Andrew & Alyson Ward
AWESOME FOOD. Wandering Dago did a pig roast for our wedding, and it was fantastic! The food was amazing and so was the service, which for us, was the most important aspect of our wedding; we wanted it to be a unique and lasting memory and they went above and beyond our expectations. Our guests are still talking about it! In addition to the pig roast, they even did a late night snack. It was served off of their food truck and was a great way to end the night. They were easy to work with, very accommodating, and always made themselves available to answer our questions. Andrea was also our day of coordinator and was incredible and intuitive. It's like she knew exactly what we were looking for without us having to explain much. She really did help us think of everything and the wedding went so smoothly. Thank you for alleviating that stress for us! We are so happy we chose Wandering Dago and would recommend them 100%.
We could not have had a better experience with our October 2016 wedding. The food was fabulous, Andrea was great, and we couldn't be happier.
Words cannot express how happy we were to meet with, book with, and work with Wandering Dago for our May 2016 wedding in Long Island, New York. Everything from their responsiveness via email, phone (they seriously would have done a telegraph if we said that was what we needed) as we got the ball rolling, was amazing. Their constant support as things morphed and changed and fell into place was so comforting and helpful in the hectic process of planning a DIY wedding. And then came the food. It is so hard to come by companies that can serve up quality of service AND quality of product, however Wandering Dago did both. The food they served family style at our 175+ guest wedding was absolutely phenomenal and is still being talked about by our family and friends to this day (and we still crave their pasta bolognese). As we planned our wedding, we made it a point to support and use local vendors who were committed to their work because of their love for their trade. Wandering Dago's work at our wedding proved just that: Quality service, quality food and a love for what they do and the people they work with. We are forever grateful!

Figured it would be best to share what I've heard from countless guests...
"The food was amazing?!? The pork, the brisket, the drunken brussels...amazing!" Everyone I speak with continue to rave...
"Dago's staff was amazing and attentive through the evening." I've heard that time and again as well...
The dessert... people are texting and emailing about the mini pies, specifically. Someone said that "Dago should put them into supermarkets"...
In short, we loved our experience. We found that The Wandering Dago added a great feel to the wedding. Brandon & Andrea were very responsive and communicative through the process. We loved working with them and would unequivocally hire them again for future events.
The Wandering Dago was more than we ever expected. Their crew and food was spot on, as was the layout and presentation of such. We were very nervous of our big day and how it was going to go overall, yet after seeing the setup and run-through prior to the wedding my wife and I were even more excited and relieved. I would absolutely recommend using The 'Dago to anyone wanting a unique and memorable wedding or event. Two thumbs way, way up!
We couldn't be happier with our experience with Brandon and Andrea. To put it lightly, they are absolutely amazing people! From start to finish, they made our wedding everything we hoped it could be. In the beginning of the process, they had us go to their home and taste some of the food that we were interested in having on our special day. We brought along our neighbors (we take them everywhere haha), but they had no problem with that and it felt like we were with old friends. That night, they helped us pick out a menu that suited our style and was within our budget and we felt very confident that the hardest part of the wedding planning was over - everyone wants good food! From that night till the wedding day, they were always available to answer any of our questions or concerns, no matter how big or small.
In the final stages of the pre-wedding, Andrea took the burden off of our shoulders by coordinating with our others vendors to make this time for us as stress free as possible (trust us, we needed that). They covered every catering detail and there were no "surprises" that we weren't expecting - the day went off without a hitch! To this day, our guests are still talking about the food, presentation and professionalism from the Wandering Dago. From appetizers to dinner (we did a pig roast) to dessert, the Wandering Dago outdid even our own expectations (and we knew what we ordered)! Brandon went above and beyond and took the time to personalize our wedding with a sliced up pineapple for us (very long story) - but it meant a lot and showed they cared and are willing to take that extra step! From what we've experienced in the past, it's hard to find a company nowadays that will do that....
We are happy to say that Brandon and Andrea are part of our extended family. We highly recommend them and were so happy that they were there to celebrate with us on our very special day!
I have no idea where to begin on how wonderful wandering dago is !!!! We met Brandon over a year ago after we got engaged. He invited us to his home for a food tasting. From the second he opened the door we felt like we had known him forever. His sense of humor and chef skills made for a fun afternoon of tasting his delicious assortment of food he prepared for us, paired with beer and wine. It was a relaxing atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy the experience of picking out our wedding food. We knew that our wedding was geared towards being a huge party since we've been to gather for almost 10 years and just wanted to celebrate with all of our friends and family in a relaxed environment. we chose to have our wedding at the Saratoga state park a place in town that is very near and dear to our hearts. over the course of the next year Brandon was always very timely and helpful with making decisions making plans and helping us along our way with working with our coordinator. We were lucky enough to win a contest that they had going on to win their sangria I was so elated when I had found out that we had been chosen and won !!!! Just another amazing part of our journey with wandering dago. On the day of our wedding my nerves were high as the weather was very unsettled the moment I showed up at our wedding and had seen the wonderful display they had set up of food I just couldn't wait to have a tasting of it again. from the appetizers to the servers to the presentation of the food there was nothing better I could've ever imagined. Our gas made comments to us the whole evening about how wonderful Brandon and Andrea along with their staff were walking around making sure everyone was having a good time and looking for feedback on their food. They were such a special part of our day They made our wedding the highlight of the year to all of our friends and family and we couldn't thank them enough.
Lots of love,
Mike and Leigha Rosenberger
Wandering Dago catered my wedding at Owls Hoot Barn, I just can't say enough good things about them. They customized a menu specifically for us based on what we wanted. When we said how about a noodle bar? They said "YES! Great idea!" Their staff were very professional and were always visible, I felt like there were at least 30 of them, at the end of the night I found out there were maybe 8 people total. Everything they did for us was awesome and exactly what we wanted! They were very easy to work with and reply to emails/texts/calls very quickly. I highly recommend Wandering Dago and hope to have them cater more parties for me in the future!
We knew we struck gold the moment we got our immediate first response from Andrea and Brandon. They offered us a unique and flexible menu that we were able to customize ourselves with the help of their expertise, which was important to us. They were always quick to respond in the planning stages and even invited us over for a food tasting which sold us on the spot. Their professionalism and general love of their work shows in their food, which is rare these days. Each meal was cooked with precision and then placed and served with some serious attention to detail. Their staff was incredible and very hardworking. Dinner and dessert were served seamlessly. We could not have asked for a better catering service or to have met nicer people. I could not have imagined my wedding without Wandering Dago. If you are looking for a unique wedding menu with food people love, two hardworking people who love their job and overall food perfection, then look no further, because these guys know how to get it done!
Really enjoyed meeting these guys. Seem to have some great products and a fun concept for a memorable wedding. Got the pricing and told no add ons. Then the add ons came and when we simply asked them to comply with NYS law on taxation they said they didn't want to do our event, less than two months out when RSVPs were already coming back. Happy with who we ended up using but these guys were going to do our welcome and ceremony and for them to bail because I didn't want to feel taken advantage of caused undue stress. A bit of professionalism would go a long way, as well as not handling everything on email. Sad we didn't get to work together but happy with the replacement and hope the Dago team can work through some growing pains.
