How it started: Everything was set for my bride and her upscale wedding in the hills of Malibu- the Air BnB next door was rented, the vendors were set, and the rental trucks were loaded. The rehearsal was in the afternoon, the wedding the next day. And then came the call- the Hills of Malibu were ablaze. The venue, the AirBnB and the hotel with all their traveling guests were evacuated. With all the vendors paid, we needed a miracle!
We had six hours to get a new plan underway. We needed as venue big enough for 200, that was available, that was willing to help out in a pinch- basically we needed to find the chupacabra.
And we did- in the form of rolling hills country club. Their grounds are beautiful. Every staff member- from the valets to the events team- were beyond professional, and more helpful than I could have ever dreamed of. To say they were accommodating would be a huge understatement.
The wedding miraculously went off without a hitch- as a planner who has done this for almost a decade- this was a first for me- the first time I had to completely relocate a wedding at the last minute- and I honestly don't know how it could have happened without the help of this venue and their amazing staff!
