Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center

I am an Indian bride and my husband and I hosted our Indian Wedding Reception at Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Spring, 2025. We utilized the Woodrow Wilson Plaza, Oculus, and Atrium for our cocktail hour and reception. Booking our event at the Reagan Building included furniture rentals, food, bar, and servers.  We selected the Ronald Reagan Building as our Wedding Reception location early on during our wedding planning process. From the beginning, we were blown away, not only by the beauty and modern look of the space, but also by the warmth and attentiveness of the Wedding Planning team. We planned our wedding from another city, and Sienna, our initial point of contact and Sales Manager made that experience seamless for us. She answered questions promptly and when we were in town, hosted us on multiple venue tours as we selected other Reception vendors and finalized details for our event. She also gave us amazing advice along the way, helping us to finalize the scope of our decor, lighting, audio, schedule, and menu. Speaking of food - having the perfect appetizer, cocktail, and dinner menu for our Reception was extremely important to us! We wanted to have a plated dinner with a mix of Indian and Western appetizer and entree options, but we also had some strict dietary restrictions to accommodate within our menu. Sienna, our Wedding Planner Paul, and Head Chef Gohary worked patiently with us to build a menu we were so excited about. Chef and his team created multiple custom entrees for us which turned out better than we ever imagined! They were also able to accommodate all of our dietary restriction requests within our menu, giving us confidence that all of our guests would be able to fully enjoy their meals at our event. The team, along with Service Manager Rene, hosted a lovely menu tasting for us, diligently incorporated our feedback, and even hosted my husband and I for a second “mini-tasting” to make sure that everything was perfect for the big day. During our tasting, they also helped us to choose our chairs, linens, and table settings. When it came to the night of our Reception, the Reagan team executed on everything flawlessly. Paul assisted our vendors through the check-in and set-up process, and Paul, Sienna, and Rene were all in attendance that night to make sure everything went off without a hitch! The event set-up, food, and service were impeccable; we received compliments from our guests for months afterwards!  I can’t recommend the Ronald Reagan Building enough as a venue for any and all Wedding events. The team was a joy to work with and the results were perfection. Thank you, Reagan team!

We could not be happier with our decision to host our wedding at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRBITC)! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our big day. The space is not only grand and elegant, but it also carries a uniquely iconic DC feel that made it extra special — especially for our many out-of-town guests who were truly wowed by the architecture, location, and overall atmosphere. The staff at RRBITC was outstanding from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive, professional, friendly, and accommodating throughout the planning process and on the day itself. No question was too small, and every request we had was handled with care and efficiency. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and it made all the difference. Their attention to detail, organization, and willingness to collaborate were so appreciated and helped us feel confident and calm every step of the way. One of the biggest highlights for us was how seamlessly the RRBITC team worked with our wedding planner and all of our vendors. Their experience coordinating large events really showed. Everyone was on the same page, timelines were clear, and communication was easy. It made the day-of logistics effortless, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our celebration knowing everything was in great hands. The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. The culinary team was not only talented but also incredibly flexible and attentive to our preferences. The chefs were more than willing to modify menu options to suit our tastes, and the result was a completely personalized, elevated dining experience. Our guests are still raving about the quality and presentation — from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the main courses. The bar service was also excellent, with delicious signature cocktails and quick, friendly bartenders throughout the evening. Beyond the exceptional service and cuisine, the venue itself created a luxurious and unforgettable backdrop for our celebration. The high ceilings, marble details, and dramatic lighting gave our event a sense of grandeur, while still feeling warm and inviting. It’s a versatile space that can be styled beautifully to suit any vision, and we were thrilled with how our décor came to life in the setting. Many of our guests commented that this was one of the most beautiful and memorable weddings they’ve ever attended — and we have the RRBITC to thank for helping us bring it all together. If you’re looking for a sophisticated, iconic, and well-run venue in the heart of Washington, DC, we cannot recommend the Ronald Reagan Building enough. It was everything we hoped for and more, and we’ll be forever grateful to their amazing team--especially Sienna and Paul--for making our wedding so magical.
