We held our wedding reception at Rose Bank in September in the Rose Ballroom. The venue is great for weddings and the scenery / landscaping is great for wedding photos. The Rose Ballroom comfortably fit our 150 guests and a dance floor. Kelly was very helpful and let us visit the room several times to coordinate with her and our caterer in the months leading up to the wedding. They were also very flexible in terms of letting us store our decorations, etc. in the ballroom overnight the day before the wedding and the next day since there were no other events in the room that weekend. They also let us hold the cocktail hour outside since it was a beautiful day. It was a great day and we would highly recommend for a wedding reception.
I received so many compliments on our venue choice. We got married and had our reception in the Rose Ball Room. The ceremony was supposed to be outside but due to weather, we had to move it inside. The space was big enough to accommodate all of our guests, a buffet line, and a 7 piece band! The bar staff hired were extremely efficient and polite!
What I loved about this venue the most was my ability to pick my own caterer (they provide a list of 50+ approved caterers) (highly recommend R&R Catering) and I could set up the room however I wanted. This was ideal for my crafty, DIY, type A personality.
I was extremely unhappy with booking the Rosebank Winery for my wedding venue. And if I knew how this place was going to forcibly change my contract I would never have booked with them. I will never be recommend this location for a wedding venue. While spending over 10 thousand dollars at this facility, here is how my experience went.
I booked the Rose Ballroom in 2020 for my wedding reception October 2022. I also booked their downstairs wine cellar for the cocktail hour (which included the use of the patio and grass area for a larger croud).
In between signing my contract/leaving a 50% deposit...all the way up to the actual date of my wedding, The Rosebank Winery breached my contract in many ways. I randomly and abruptly received an email of "Rosebank Winerys 2022 Wedding Venue Changes."
This includes moving their wine store into the downstairs wine cellar, leaving me unable to use that for my cocktail hour. They said my only choice is to use the pervious wine store up stairs/ next to the Roseball Room, as my cocktail hour. Yet it will not hold all the 180 people I had invited and was stated on my contract. When I asked them what other accommodations can they make for my cocktail hour, I was told "Im not too sure what to tell you".
I had no choice but to use the smaller upstairs room now called Buckman Barn for my cocktail hour.
While meeting with the owner - Bev, the old wedding coordinator - Peter, and their new coordinator - Roberta, numerous times I was left dumbfounded with how much they were attempting to take advantage of my wedding with their new changes.
Another change I was expected to use was their new drink package - which is outrageously over priced for a horrible selection of alcohol. (Many of their "preferred vendors" agree). If not, I was expected to pay a service charge for bringing in my own alcohol. Even though my original contract signed 2020 stated that I was bringing my own alcohol at no charge, and buying my wine through them (with a standard side note that if I purchase a certain amount of wine I would get a 10% discount). I was expected to use their bartenders at an additional cost, even though that also was not in my contract. And when I brought all this up to Beverly her response was "We are going to waive those fees as I'm bending over backwards for you" and another comment "I'm going to take 10% off the wine cost as a favor"
I feel as though the Rosebank Winery made changes to their facility without taking any consideration to the contracts that they had already accepted money for. Along the way they expected me to abide by their new rules and pay for more additional services that they now offer. It was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Your wedding day is supposed to be a magical day that you remember for the rest of your life. I will always remember my experience with the Rosebank and will never recommend anyone to go through what I went through. For any new Brides who have yet to have their wedding there or plan on using this venue in the future please read your contract thoroughly do not let them attempt to take advantage of you because they will try and you have the right to your contract.
Rose Bank Winery is the most beautiful setting for a wedding. Our daughter and son-in-law got married there recently. The service was excellent, the venue was beautiful. We were able to add so many personal touches to make the space truly unique. Thank you, Rose Bank staff!
Rose Bank is absolutely gorgeous! We knew we wanted a winery wedding venue and Rose Bank has great wine and an amazing venue. We had our reception in the Rose Ballroom which is stunning and speaks for itself. The only negative we can give is about the management. Communication from the events manager was lacking throughout the planning process. We encountered a few problems. We were told that we had the entire day before the wedding to set up which was great and allowed us to arrange everything perfectly. When we started our rehearsal with our officiant, another wedding party arrived for their rehearsal. The event manager double-booked the time slot and did not inform us until the other party arrived. We paid extra for our officiant to be there for the rehearsal so this was very unprofessional. We had another major incident during the ceremony. About 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, there was an electrical issue with the outdoor outlets. Our family and wedding planner attempted to make multiple calls to the manager which were unanswered. Thankfully, our other vendors were able to figure out an alternative but the lack of response from Rose Bank was concerning. Overall, we had an amazing wedding and received many compliments on the venue. We do feel the management could be better. If you are going to have a wedding at Rose Bank, look into a day-of coordinator or wedding planner to help coordinate everything with the venue. Overall, we love Rose Bank and with better management, this is a 10/10 venue.
Rose Bank Winery was the perfect choice for us. The owners are incredibly personal and willing to work with the couple, especially after we had to postpone and change our plans for COVID. We were lucky enough to be married in the new Ash Room which easily fit our 35 guestswith plenty of dance space and provided the country chic vibe we were hoping for. The wifi also allowed us to live stream our wedding which was a huge help during COVID. The wine is on the sweeter end but the venue space is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.
Sensational Host made our wedding day perfect! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our day more amazing than we already imagined it would be. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time.
We had a great experience with everyone we worked with at sensational hosts and our wedding day was perfect in large part thanks to them!
I simply can't say enough wonderful things about Sensational Host. My wedding day was absolutely perfect because of their amazing staff. Erika and Kara helped us plan the wedding of our dreams and ensured that every detail was perfect. They were easy to work with and always available whenever we needed them. The bartenders and wait staff were phenomenal and ensured our guests were taken care of properly all night. The food is absolutely amazing and my guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. The staff even accommodated our request for a different ceremony setup and a caramel apple bar for dessert. My husband and I had our own personal waitress Krista who was awesome and made sure we had food and drink all night long. Krista even stepped in to help my mom bustle my dress! They truly go above and beyond to make your wedding perfect. I highly recommend Sensational Host and will certainly use them again in the future.
The SenHost Team cannot be beat. The food, service, responsiveness and patience when it came to our wedding was all fantastic. I have recommended them to everyone I know. They will do a great job for your wedding. They will make sure you EAT! DRINK! and most importantly, DANCE! The whole day went smoothly. Can't thank them enough!
Sensational Hosts was an outstanding caterer. Their food was phenomenal, and presented so beautifully. Not a single negative comment from our guests. Chelsea was also extraordinarily helpful - always available to talk over details before the wedding, very timely with giving us more info or quotes, and super organized and calm on the wedding day which was all much appreciated. Their staff too were super friendly, polite, and attentive. I'm so happy we went all the way to PA to find SenHosts for our wedding in NJ!
AMAZING! I was a bit nervous since we started with Tyler, then had Morgan and finally ended with Kelley as our coordinator. KELLEY WAS PHENOMENAL! She made everything, and I mean everything simple for us! I met with her about two weeks before the wedding to give the final head count and go over the final details. Kelley took everything that we wanted and made it our dream reception AND MORE! The food was amazing! We had a serve that was solely making sure we the bride and groom were taken care of and made sure we ate! The staff was friendly and kind! They even sent us on our way with plates of food!
We just used Sensational Host as our wedding caterer at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm and were BLOWN. AWAY.
Chelsea, our point of contact, is an absolutely incredible person. She has an amazing attention to detail, an endless amount of patience, and truly listened to our wants and concerns. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I hope to have future events to plan with her! We love you Chelsea!!
The food itself was AMAZING. When we went for our tasting they had greeted us at the door with a sign congratulating our engagement, champagne for us to toast to, and all of the table setting options we could ever wish to design with!
The food was just unbelievable. We had the goat cheese stuffed chicken and have craved it so intensely that we have plans to request that dish from S.H. every year on our anniversary!
They were also so excited to help us customize our menu to fit US. I hate BBQ but love pierogis - so she made us a pierogi BAR! And whats more of a crowd pleaser than that? A mashed potato bar... in martini glasses.. MASHTINIS!
The food was fun, delicious, and a huge hit!
And on to the lovely Bridget... Bridget, we love you. You were the best wedding event coordinator we could have ever asked for. She kept me calm when a thunder storm opened up at the start of the ceremony, handled all details with our venue contact, and kept us on time and focused. She was a beautiful soul that I couldn't have gotten married without.
So if you want a caterer that cares, Sensational Host is the company to hire!

I just booked my December 2018 at The Marian House and my fiance and I can not me more excited! It has been a journey trying to find something that the both of us loved as well as finding a location convenient enough for our family & friends. When we find out the Marian House was newly renovated, we called and spoke to Erika to scheduled a tour. Off the bat my fiance was impressed with the amount of parking and we were both happy that it was minutes from the bridges, an major highways.
When we saw the new space we were both blown away. The fireplace is going to be a the perfect focal point for our holiday wedding all dressed with lighting & accessories, we can't wait!
I was stunned by how beautiful the updates turned out for The Marian House. It doesn't even look like the same building. The combination of the high ceilings, spacious ballroom, and brand new fireplace really tie the place together and bring it to life. The bar is completely remodeled and modern, it looks awesome and I can't wait for my guests to experience it. Erika is great and gets back to me so quickly with all questions I have. Check this place out, you'll love it!
I took a tour of the Marian House with Erika and it was great! The space is so beautiful, especially the new updated bar area and stone fireplace. I cannot wait to have my event here!
Exceptional is the word that comes to mind with respect to Sensational Host Caterers. From my daughter's bridal shower to her wedding reception Cory and his staff were there to help us every step of the way. They made the planning seem effortless. The food was outstanding as was the service. They made sure that every detail was meticulously carried out and on time. 5 stars hardly seems enough to give Sensational Host because in my book they are a "10. Thank You Cory & staff for making our daughter's dream wedding come true!
There is nothing bad I can say about any aspect of our wedding when it came to Sensational Host and what they represented at our wedding. From the taste test up to and including the last minute details including the day of, they were professional, informative, helpful and awesome! The food is amazing - the service is incredible and their connection to who they use if they don't handle something themselves (i.e. cakes) is also top notch. I will certainly use them for any catering event I plan in the future!!
When we were deciding who to go with, we went with sensational host because of Des who was there at the time and assured me that everything was going to be fine and that she would stick it out with me till the end. A couple months in, we get an email that she is no longer with the company. I was very upset that all they did was send an email and no one else contacted me for months. Normally, this should result in a phone call as we were deep in planning the wedding. This was a stressful time where we paid a deposit and wanted someone to help us along the way as this was our first and only wedding and we were spending so much money with them. Finally, after countless emails and phone calls, someone got back to us who was the manager.
As time went on we were dealing with 2 ladies (who I think were new or didn't know what they were doing). They set a timeline but wouldn't follow it. I needed the table numbers for my name cards and they told me they would give it to me but never did. And then when asked for it again they told me to create my own table numbers as a template and send it to them. They told us that the final headcount would be 2 weeks before the wedding and that it was final. They asked for the headcount a week before the wedding. Also they said that all final payments were needed 2 weeks before the wedding as well. I ended up calling them myself 3 days before the wedding asking them if they wanted the final check. During the walk through they were late and tried to play it off as that was the scheduled time. How inappropriate!
********Lastly, they told me that no employees were allowed to touch the card box and they did and we were missing $2,000 dollars. We had to call the guests who didn't give anything which is very embarrassing for the guests and for us. And not only did they not do ANYTHING about it but they were also not considerate and just that they knew their employees didn't do it. So sorry. Then they asked me if I wanted to interview every employee that was at the wedding. How might this help me?
This is the not the way I wanted to be treated as a customer from the very beginning when this is one of the largest purchases made for my one day wedding. Very frustrating company to work with.
Hire and train better employees. This is also a stressful time for the bride and groom. Just be careful with the details because they were not detail oriented and they went back on their word.
Our contact at Sensational Host was Cory and he was absolutely amazing! He met us at our venue (Camden County Boathouse) and gave us a tour and really helped us to see exactly how our wedding day would look and how the day would flow. Cory provided us with a timeline of when we had to get everything done, which was so helpful because I had no idea where to start! Sensational Host provides the DJ and the Bakery which made things so much easier for me!
I cannot even say enough good things about the food!!!
Our wedding flowed perfectly and I never felt stressed during the planning process and that was all thanks to Cory and Chelsea at Sensational Hosts!
We used SenHost for our wedding in Sept 2016. We met the team just 6 months before the wedding, and wanted a backyard barn wedding with our own genuine touch plus some true elegance. Not only did Cory & Chelsea make the process fun and smooth, but they truly made this unique combination come to life with their creativity, professionalism and wow-- the food was amazing. We were able to serve 150 people lobster & filet, outside, under the stars with our own personal beer garden and elegant barn table setting. The staff was warm, easy, professional but mostly, -- SenHost made the process smooth and wonderful. I would not just recommend them, I would say you would be crazy to go anywhere else. They truly get it. Thank you SenHost.
EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Kara and Cory were so accommodating and made us feel like we were their one and only wedding (even though we were far from it). All of our guests said the food was unbelievable, which it was. And you can't beat their prices! Thank you for everything!
There is a lot of positive things to say about Sensational Host. But let's start with the good stuff: the food. I had been excited about the food at our wedding for over a year after we had our tasting. The selection hors d'oeuvres is really expansive and there is something for everyone. Plus they can craft a more seasonal menu if that's what you want and really work with you to make things just to your preference.
The entrees on the day-of were actually mind-blowing. The serving sizes are more than generous and everything was so wonderfully seasoned and creative enough that it wasn't just "wedding food" but still wasn't enough to scare pickier eaters. The most memorable dish for me was the strip steak. That thing was massive, and they were perfectly cooked. I managed to talk to a few guests who all agreed. The crab cakes were also really stunning.
Another important thing to note about Sensational Host is the service. This really truly is one of the most professional services in the Philadelphia area. Working with Cory and Chelsea over the last year and a half was so effortless, so easy going. We spent a lot of time thinking "are we missing something?" because the process was so easy! They were quick to respond to anything, and on the day-of we had absolutely nothing to worry about at the venue. We literally just showed up and everything was done and perfect.
The catering staff itself was also really wonderful. The servers, bartenders and our were all a ton of fun to be around. They were super friendly, fun and great company to be around, and a lot of them remembered us from the times we had been around Sen. Host for meetings and what-not, so it felt like a really personal experience. Our guests have since told me they enjoyed dancing with a few of the servers too so I know they appreciated the company as well.
Sensational Host was perfect for us because it is such a professional, well-composed team at a price that didn't blow our budget. They made our day so worry free and fun and they made planning the wedding fun too. We were fully prepared for this process to be stressful and difficult, but we quickly learned that when you've got the right team helping you, it's one of the best things you'll ever do!
Sensational Host did an Awesome job with our wedding! It felt like they were a part of the family and not just workers! Cory was very responsive whenever we had questions and even put up with our many mind changes! Also the food, well that was just delicious..not one food was undesirable!
Wow. We cannot get over how perfect our wedding day was. And we really owe it all to Morgan and her crew at Sensational Host. Morgan was meticulously organized and made the planning stress disappear, no matter how many late night emails we exchanged. The day of was no different: we were able to be calm and fully present knowing that our day was in their hands. Every person on staff was professional and extremely attentive; not only to the wedding party but the guests as well. Our family and guests cannot stop raving about the fantastic food and service. You can do no wrong with Sensational Host. They are clearly the best at what they do and because of them our day was PERFECT.

With the very reasonable rate we had for our wedding day, we have continued receiving so much feedback on how amazing the food was at our wedding. We worked with Tyler and Morgan for our wedding and were very pleased with their service. We loved that Sensational Host had us for a tasting before we booked, and we went with them when we saw the unique menu they offered. What we particularly liked was that higher quality items weren't an additional cost, as they had been at other caterers. Plus, they included the cake and DJ in their package that made their services a great value. Our guests were thrilled with the food, as were we. Morgan worked hard the day of to get the venue ready, and was very organized in planning the event in the months leading up to it. Our maître d' for the evening, Britt, was an absolute boss. Britt essentially waited on us hand and foot and made the night go so smoothly. Overall, we were super pleased with Sensational Host's services.
Our wedding was one of the most magical nights in large part due to Cory and his staff. Every single thought, question, or request was brought to life. Our out of the box requests were found with creative unique ideas and we had the BEST tasting food anyone has ever had at a wedding. We could not have made it such a success without Sensational Host and were honored to get to carry on the tradition of using this company from my parents wedding nearly 25+ years ago till today.
My husband and I got married at Cairnwood estate on May 27 2016 and we could not be happier with how our day turned out! I want to thank Morgan andTyler for making sure everything ran perfectly! It was absolutely a fairytale come true! Even almost two months later I get butterflies thinking about how wonderful our day was and it would not have been possible without Morgan and Tyler and the entire staff at sensational host! The food was amazing!!!!! Our guests even weeks after were saying how delicious everything was and also how perfect of a day it was! So thank you for making our wedding day dreams come true!!
We chose Sensational Host as our caterer and they did not disappoint. The food was great and so were Tyler and Morgan. They also had a Krispy Kreme donut station for a dessert option and everyone loved it!
I got married at Cairnwood Estate April 22, and I am still on cloud nine a week later. Sensational Host did everything to make it the perfect day. Special shout out to Morgan and Tyler for making sure that the day went smoothly, down to every last detail! Tyler spent time picking up every last piece of confetti, and Morgan sat with my mom for 30 minutes before the ceremony to make sure everything was perfect. That's just to name a few things! Chris, my maitre'd was the most genuine guy I've ever met and would do anything to make my husband and I happy-- (not many people would follow us around during pictures to make sure we had food and drinks) YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Thank you for being the part of the best day of my life. I would absolutely recommend Sensational Host to any newly engaged couple. We love you!!
Great staff, amazing hosts they were right there when I needed them and made everything perfect! The food was delicious! Anyone getting married must book with Sensational host!!!
Sensational Host was absolutely amazing. I don't have a single bad thing to say about them. We went in with a budget and they helped us get to that mark with ease. Cory and Kara walked me through every step and kept me updated with any changes, payments, or important dates along the way. Contacting them was so easy, if I asked a question they got back to me that day or early the next.. It was just so easy dealing with the them haha! I had 260 people at my wedding and everything went off perfectly. The day of my wedding I didn't have to do anything, they made sure everything was the way I asked it to be from from timing to decorations to service. And everyone raved about the food!!! It was soooo good!! It was perfect. Thanks Sensational Host!!!

Sensational Host went above and beyond our expectations on our wedding day! From day one our event managers were a pleasure to work with - they answered all my questions ( and I was a bride with a lot of questions and attention to detail!). I also didn't have a wedding planner, which was ok because Sensational Host not only catered our event but it was like having a wedding planner also! They took just as much care to each detail that I did and it showed. They transformed our venue, provided an excellent and attentive staff for our event, and the food was INCREDIBLE. We received genuine compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the food. I am so happy we chose Sensational Host to be part of our wedding day - it was perfect!

Sensational Hosts wedding menu for the Camden County Boat House was DELICIOUS, modern, fun, flavorful, and completely personalized. Every guest said the food was amazing and it didn't taste like regular "wedding food". Not one person left hungry.
We were so fortunate to have Kara and Cory by our sides every step of the way - super responsive, wonderful ideas, great energy and paid attention to every detail. They both went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was exactly what we visioned. I truly could not have planned our wedding with out them. We felt we were in good hands every step of the way, and knew that on wedding day, our guests would be well taken care of, too.

Overall excellent experience working with Sensational Host. Our event planners Cory and Kara were very responsive to our needs and questions throughout the wedding planning process. We were very happy with the DJ and cake which were included in the package. The food and service were both good. When looking at the final invoice cost, and the quality of the food/service we received, I'm definitely glad we decided to go with Sensational Host.
Corey and Kara were our planners and they were great! We were impressed with them from the first meeting and they continued to impress us (and eventually our guests). Unlike other caterers we interviewed they worked with us to make our wedding day our own, and didn't just try to give us the same wedding they gave everybody else. Whenever we came up with an idea, they provided us valuable input on how it could work and offered ideas for tweaking it based on their experienced. We were greatly impressed with both everything they did to make the wedding day our own, and the food! We couldn't have been happier with our wedding day and that is, in large part, due to Sensational Host!
Choosing Sensational Host to cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We got married on October 17th at The Historic Smithville Mansion. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Sensational Host is a big reason why it was the most perfect day. Through my entire year of planning Cory and Kara were excellent. Any questions or concerns I had they were both quick answer. Anything that I needed to rent, or wanted to find Kara was on top of it and makes wedding planning easy!
I was a little nervous the day of that a lot of stress would fall on me because our wedding was not at your traditional venue. I was WRONG. They did everything for me. Decorated the tent and ceremony exactly the way I wanted it, and they directed the entire ceremony so I did not have to worry about a single thing. Not only are Kara and Cory the best, so is the entire staff. Before and after the ceremony they made sure us and our bridal party always had a drink in hand and I was followed around with a tray of hors d'oeuvres because they wanted to make sure I ate! ( as if I already didn't feel like royalty that day!)
At my reception one of my guest was sitting down the whole time due to bad knees. The wait staff quickly picked up on that and served him his drinks all night, and it was really appreciated. Excellent Service. Our guests are still talking about how great the service was!!
Sensational Host doesn't just cater and serve your guests food (great food!), they go above and beyond anything I could ever imagine.

We had our event at Collingswood Grand Ballroom, but they work with many beautiful venues in the South Jersey/Philly area.
Cory was great at helping us to customize our wedding package to include all the details we wanted, while staying within our budget.
Kara is amazing with details and timelines - she kept us on track, without adding stress. She had great ideas to compliment some of the visions I had for our day and helped add things to our wedding that I never knew I wanted! :)
Cory and Kara were always prompt to answer emails and phone calls - which is HUGE when your coordinating all the details involved in a wedding (which was even more than I expected). They helped me with any wedding detail.. even if it had nothing to do with the venue or catering!
The wedding night... it was awesome to see every detail come to life. Both the presentation and taste of the food was AMAZING. We received compliments from our guests all night.
David was our Maitre'D and he was the best! Not only did he make sure we always had a drink in our hands and a taste of all the different hors d'oeuvres, he even helped with my bustle when my mom was too overwhelmed with happiness to remember what the seamstress taught her!
If I could do it all over again... there is not one thing I would change! Thank you to the entire Sensational Host team for making our dream wedding become a reality!

We had the BEST experience! Our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be and we had no worries of anything going wrong. The music was great, the food exceptional (people are still talking about it), and the service incredible. Everyone was so nice and attentive and not just to myself and my husband, but to every one of our guests. I am not a planner by any means, and the staff helped me every step of the way and were very patient and kind. We are actually trying to think of another event, obviously smaller scale, that we can use their services again! Great to know they also do corporate events, catering, and other smaller events! Best day of our lives!
Kara was great! So easy to communicate with, responded very quickly. They made it so easy to do things through them and only have to make payments though them! Great food! Great service!
I recently had my wedding this past September, and Sensational Host catered my event. When I first started talking to the company, my contact was Keegan. He helped me through the tasting process, and kept me informed with everything. After our tasting we canceled all other appointments with the other catering companies because we knew immediately that Sensational Host was the company we would use. Once signed with Sensational, everything fell into place. Not only do you get above and beyond add-ins on your package, but I also got an amazing wedding planner, Kara. She made the rest of planning my wedding easy and stress-less! No matter what I changed with our wedding she quickly changed things for me in an instant. The day of my wedding I thought I would of been one of the frantic brides, but Kara and Keegan made the day go perfectly! The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and at the end of the night Sensational Host made my wedding AMAZING!
We worked with Tyler and Kara. Both very nice and friendly. Easy to work with, very flexible. We just had some mishaps during the actual event. Initially we wanted two bars, but we were talked into one with 2 bartenders, yet there were still long lines. Bartenders ran out of basics like limes and did not display the liquor so people did not know what we had. One of the pasta station cooks admitted she had never done it before and several guests got cold pasta. We had also requested champagne and wine to be passed around to alleviate some of the bar lines and that was never done. Finally, we have some picky wine people in the family so we made sure to have dessert wine but it was never put out. The room looked beautiful and the food tasted good, but just execution-wise was not what you expect from spending so much money.
We are happy to say that we worked with Cory and Kara to plan our July 11th, 2015 wedding. We contacted Sensational Host back in the beginning of 2014, and emailed back and forth to see if they met our requirements for what we were looking for in a caterer. We met with Cory at the Camden County Boathouse and we were instantly impressed by him. He went through anything and everything we needed to know about S.H. and what they had to offer. We walked out of the Boathouse knowing that we were going to work with them and we couldn't wait to get started.
We met a few more times to just go over the details from food, set up, decorations, etc. Eventually we met Kara who, for me as the bride, was more than I could have asked for when it came to a wedding planner/coordinator. When we didn't know what linens to chose, she worked with us to really paint the picture for us. My husband and i are extremely visual people and this whole process was very difficult, not being able to see what we were planning along the way. Kara helped us to understand and "see" what the day was really going to look like.
As time went on and I sent about a few hundred emails to Kara and Cory with those "small" questions, they responded every time quickly and clearly. Never making us feel like we were burdening them or asking too many stupid questions. We felt like we were emailing friends of ours to ask for help with something. No question was too small or insignificant. They were always happy and willing to answer any question or concern we had. They always made us feel comfortable and at ease with the entire planning process.
When he day finally came, we had nothing to worry about. Cory, Kara, and the entire Sensational Host staff was truly SENSATIONAL. They transformed the Boathouse into a wedding that really tailored to our individual personalities and tastes. From the family picture table, to the guest tables, and the head table, every detail was beyond beautiful, and if it wasn't for them, it wouldn't have looked nearly as great as it did.
The bartenders were very friendly, quick getting our guests their drinks, and never let my husband or I go thirsty. Our Maitre'D was so attentive to our needs. We were starving while we were taking pictures with the photographer, so she brought us hors d'oeuvres, then noticed which ones we ate the most of, and brought us more of those. She brought us drinks before our drinks were even finished. She truly made us feel like royalty.
The service over all was phenomenal. Our guests were so pleased and so impressed by every detail. Everyone told us how great the waiters/waitresses were and it truly showed.
Unfortunately, it was our fault for not contacting the Boathouse ahead of time to see if we could leave our decorations there for the night, but the SH staff was so helpful in packing everything up and helping us get it out onto the bus so we could transport it to the hotel.
Overall, if my husband and I were to get married again, we would choose Sensational Host every time, from the food to the service and back again, everything was beyond our expectations and we highly recommend them.
Cory, Kara, and the entire Sensational Host staff, we thank you for making our wedding day so special, and one we'll never forget.

I was actually very exciting about working with Sensational Host. I've read amazing things about them, and was looking forward to them planning my wedding! My fiancé was actually the one to contact them first. He was working with Tyler and trying to find a time to tour the Camden County Boathouse. Unfortunately, my hours at work are awful so it was hard to schedule a time... but it seemed like they weren't really trying to work with us either. I get that they're busy, believe me- but since then we haven't received any form of contact. Looks like we will be going with another caterer, unfortunately.
From start to finish, our experience with Sensational Host was smooth as silk. Our contact person was Kara - she answered all our questions and made everything much less nerve wracking. I felt confident knowing that whatever I threw her way, she would handle. The food was delicious and at the tasting, they took detailed notes of what we did or did not like and adjusted accordingly. Everyone at the reception raved about the food! The actual event ran smoothly; Kara and her team made sure we were well attended to. It felt great having someone to go to with any questions or concerns at the venue. We definitely felt cared for and pampered! Add delicious food to that and I don't know why you'd go anywhere else!!
We loved working with Sensational Host from beginning to end. Our point of contact was Kara, who I wanted to hug by the end of the event. She was super responsive and organized, and she treated our wedding with the same care as if it were her own. The day of staff was also fantastic, even wrangling vendors to get pricing to add extra time on to the event and sending us off with a to go bag of meals and cupcakes. They were all truly amazing.
Of course there was the important part of the food, which was great, in addition to innovative options like a craft beer and slider station (which we jumped all over).
We had such a fantastic experience and are so thankful to Sensational Host for making our day amazing!

Wanting a custom menu for our wedding and expecting exceptional customer service, we found Sensational Host to be the best choice at the most reasonable, competative price. From creating our ideal menu and helping coordinate the many details a wedding requires, the staff was always professional, helpful, and friendly with thier quick responses. On the day of, everything went 100% smoothly and they were integral in the our succesful wedding day. We cannot reccomend this company highly enough!
I don't even know where to begin. From the first emails, Keegan was amazing. He worked to make sure that the vision I had for my wedding was carried out to the last detail. From sitting down and creating our custom menu to the additions or take aways I later requested. Everything was handled professionally and quickly and every question was answered and all fears reassured.
Johanna was amazing! Knowledgeable and worked her best to make sure I always had a drink in my hand and she reaaaaaly tried to make me eat (The most delicious curried chick pea fritters EVER! I could have eaten them all day) and most importantly that I enjoy the night without a worry about anything. Thank God for her quick thinking and stepping up-- when our venue wanted to throw away our accessories (some very sentimental) she took responsibility for them and made sure of their safe return to my husband and I.

Sensational Host was wonderful. They are so reasonably priced for everything I could have wanted at my wedding. I never had to worry about a thing because throughout the entire process Cory and Kara were just absolutely wonderful. They made it happen and put me completely at ease throughout the entire process; very accommodating. Additionally, I never even had a worry in the world on my wedding day because it was all taken care of perfectly. Highly recommend!
Sensational Host catered my wedding this fall and they were absolutely amazing. Their wedding packages include everything we needed which was such a big help. The package we went with included wedding cake, DJ, centerpieces and full bar. It was so nice because they coordinated with all of our other vendors to help make the day go smoothly. My wife and I got married in August. This was a new venue for Sensational Host and they did a fabulous job organizing and preparing for our special day. We met and spoke to Tyler numerous times before our wedding and we felt confident that he would do a wonderful job. Many of our guests commented that the food was very good and there was more than enough for everyone. The bartender was quick, thorough and friendly. Our wedding day went smoothly (minus the rain during our ceremony) and we are thankful to Sensational Host for playing a big role in making our wedding day so memorable.

I simply cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. Based on reviews that I have read, I knew I wanted to have Sensational Host plan and execute my wedding. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, a lot of decisions, a lot of stress, and a lot of balls juggling in the air. All who were involved in my special day helped make everything beautiful and memorable. I had the best time of my life at my wedding, but from the time the cocktail hour started to the very end of the reception every conversation I had with my guests was about how impressed they were with the whole event, especially the food. The food is AMAZING. We were so well taken care of, as were our parents and all of our guests! They are amazing to work with, always available and unbelievably accommodating! To this day, family and friends still bring up the wedding because they have never experienced such an "over the top" event.
We were referred to Sensational Host by a friend and are so happy that we were! They helped us visit 4 different venues going through all the options at each. Once we picked the venue we wanted, our event planners Tyler and Becca helped us with all the details (which was a bit overwhelming at first). Our tasting was amazing, the food was so good! From the moment we walked into Sensational Host, we were welcomed with open arms. Cory and Kara were incredibly accommodating to our needs. The planning of our wedding was incredibly effortless thanks to the professionalism and knowledge of Cory and Kara. The execution of the wedding reception was flawless due in great part of the service staff such as Ron the chef, Alicia, the maitre d', and all the kitchen staff and servers involved in the set up and serving of the buffet food. Our day was smooth and drama free. Thank you for making our special day a huge success.
